Its a scam insurance They are running the insurance scam with their agent [redacted] Insurance Please stay away from this insurance companyThey have mentioned 20$ as the cancellation charges in the document I have receivedThey have charged me 287$ initially and now again asking for 181$ for days of insurance[redacted] Insurance are not even providing me the signed document

Adjusters speak to women very condescendinglyTreated me like I knew nothing and got upset when I asked questionsQuick to dismiss my concernsI was not their insured and they were responsible to fix my car but didn’t care about any of my concernsMade me do all the calling around, driving around and getting informationThey were so rude and discretion the phoneForced me to get off work to go find my car instead of helping schedule logistics around my scheduleRemember the accident wasn’t my fault I will never turn tin national general for my insurance needs

I'm with a small trucking company that utilizes NGI for our commercial liability and cargo insurance required by the US GOV Upon payment of a commercial policy the insurance company is required to submit a BMC 91X and BMC to the FMSCA per government requirements to confirm the trucking company has the proper required insurances to operate as a commercial carrier and broker The date National General was supposed to file our BMC form was prior to April 28th They filed on May 8th and find no fault in their actions Even more frustrating, in my first call to NGI to find out why our FMSCA operating authority was revoked, NGI blamed the FMSCA as having bad systems because they filed on-time This major oversight and mistake caused the FMSCA to revoke our operating authority This not only impacted our business, it also impacted our customers who depend on us to deliver their products We lost revenue of over $while we waited for our operating authority to be reinstated This out of service not only hurt our business, customers, and reputation, it also hurt our drivers as they were not able to work during this time In addition to the damages listed above, we paid $to the US GOV to reinstate our authority I asked the FMSCA Rep while on the phone, if this type of situation happens often and they said yes, it is not uncommon for commercial insurance agencies to not file the BMC forms on-time Thus causing this type of damage to other trucking companies throughout the US I had my agent call NGI and I called to discuss a remedy for lost revenue for a clear lack of providing a service that was paid for but not provided, their response, "we don't pay for lost revenue." Repeated several times The SrManager that I spoke with said that she would have someone from NGI underwriting department follwith me the week of 5/ No one from National General has followed-up I spent over $30,with NGI in and I will not be doing business with NGI at any point in the future after the expiration of our policy Because of this clear lack of customer service, attention to detail, and lack of ownership of mistakes, I recommend that any small trucking company NOT use NGI for their commercial insurance

I am totally pleased with my experience with National General Insurance Company My sales representative, Cory [redacted] , is the greatest He was extremely courteous and professional He worked diligently to get me the best homeowner's insurance coverage for a very affordable price

We have been dealing with National General more than ten yearsDuring that time frame we have submitter three claimsCustomer service and claims we courteous professional quick to settle the claimsWe have recommended them to our friends

Was in an accident with someone insured by National General (they were at fault in the accident) National General handled the claim quickly and fairly After the claim, I got my own quote through them and actually just switched my own insurance to them and have been very happy so far I didn't realize it, but this is GMAC insurance, just with a new name

[redacted] referred us to this companyWe've only been with the company about two months.The onboarding process was easy and customer service has addressed most concerns so far by actively listening to our concerns and matching us with best policy to fit our needs Our policy decreased a few dollars and we still have same coverage as before on two of our vehicles

This insurance company conducts business in an extremely unethical manner It is very challenging to get them to stand by their policies and cover claims This company does NOT have the consumers best interested in mind Buyer beware with this company If you do decide to sign up, make sure you ask about the policy cancellation fee They are not forthcoming with that information and then you are stuck with an invoice if you do decided to cancel My personal experience: There was a major hail storm (made national news) and National General stated that no storm was reported for the area on that date and timeThey stated that they were not going to cover damages from the storm until I went as far as submitting security camera footage, photos and news reports to support the claim Even then they didn't cover all the damages Very poor business relations

I HAVE BEEN INSURED WITH NATIONAL GENERAL FOR FOUR YEARS AND SUBMITTED MY FIRST CLAIM LAST MONTH SO FAR, IT HAS BEEN WEEKS AND STILL NO RESOLUTION IT SEEMS THE COMPANY ESTIMATOR AND THE REPAIR STATION DISAGREE ON THE REPAIRS NEEDED I WILL PROBABLY NOT SEE MY RV BEFORE LABOR DAYNEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS!

Do not use this company!!! This is by far the worst insurance company I have ever usedI made a claim a month ago and still have yet been told what shop to take my car toI have sat on hold for literally hours with the corporate number on multiple occasions only to be hung up on when someone finally answersI have called the adjuster assigned to my claim many times and have left many voicemails - because he doesn't EVER answer his phone - and have not received a single call in returnI have been forced to drive my car which is obviously very unsafe for a month now because NOTHING has been taken care of

I swear that I don’t know how this company can have this rating, my wife was hit and taken out of the way by another vehicle, I am today May two months exact waiting for the full payment of my vehicle, it took weeks to receive the estimate of repair or total lost by a company named [redacted] INCwhich is not saying that is being investigated for fraud by giving estimates of vehicles like mine, since they valued it with similar vehicles not equal and in the end its price was even half of what they cost in [redacted] !!! The lack of professionalism of the adjusters is the worst, even my number was blocked when calling to ask about the status of my claim, for almost years I never had problems, pay punctually and as a client I get paid in the worst way! not resolving my claim with professionalism and HONESTY, there are many complaints and little space, one of them is that they were charging me for damages in my vehicle caused by the accident $ per condition? I deducted money for not having supposedly left the key $ but the key stayed in the vehicle, still ask how they knew the miles, the odometer is digital, you need to enter the key and turn it to see the miles, my policy had two Vehicles, one is from this accident, they declined to remove it from my policy and I had to pay the next months for it, even though I no longer had my car! getting a MOCKERY from the adjuster, laughing and telling me not to expect them to discount the payment for the damaged vehicle, today I am trying to cancel my policy and I find that I have to pay about $ OR OVER to cancel it! Stay away from National General Insurance, as a client I feel cheated, robbed and humiliated

The worst insurance company in nation, don’t waste your money with this insurance company, once you have a car accident and you file a claim with this [redacted] company they try to find an excuse not to pay from your damages

Do not give them your businessThey aren't worth itThey aren't worth anythingI got in a car accident on a SaturdayI made my claim as soon as I couldThe lady on the phone told me right there and then that my car was a total loss and I had to go to the lot where my car was being kept to get my belongings out of it at 12pm on MondaySo I have to use my personal time at work to go get my stuff in a hurryThey assigned me to a claim representative named Justin who was supposed to contact me Monday afternoonNo contact at all from anyoneSo finally Wednesday I email him, no answerForward the email again Thursday, no answerAND again on FridaySo I finally call this claims repHe says since the car is a total loss that he is not the claim repThe lady told me when I reported the claim that it was a total loss, so why were you assigned my rep in the first place!?! First of all, he could have at least answered my many emailsSecond, he would not give me a name or number of anyone else handing my claim and said it could be WEEKS until someone is assigned to itTerrible serviceTerrible experienceTERRIBLE COMPANY

I went through an agent who selected National General for my 23 ft motorhome. It is a much better policy than I had with [redacted] . My premium had been $1113 for the coming year, but with National General it is $866. It also increased several of my limits to $500k whereas they had been $250k, which decreased my Umbrella policy premium by $41. So that is a savings of $247 plus the $41 which is $288 in savings or 25.8%. So I am happy with this National General policy.

I would like to share a terrible complaint regarding National General InsuranceThe company does not like to take in consideration when they are at faultMy policy was canceled due to their errorI can understand an error from anyone however it is the principal, and also to at least say I apologize for the experienceAfter speaking to a team leader, and a manager no one apologizedThe second incident a rep enrolled me in auto pay, then after working with her for an hour she state I do not qualifyHowever on the due date National General tried to collect a payment that put my account in the negative with a $feeOnce my bank sent a letter over, one rep saw the letter then the manger did notMy payment was adjusted however I never received the reimbursementThis company has a lot of inconstanciesPlease take notes of your conversations, whom you speak to and all of your dates on handThis is a terrible company that I will never return or recommend anyone toThis company sucks!!!!!

A person insured by National General hit my driver's door and bent it backwardsTo the point that it had to be jacked in order to be closedI contacted them on 2/I was told I'd be called by an agentI finally called them again on 2/Spoke with someone who told me a link would be sent for me to send picturesI never received itCalled on 2/and one was sent and I sent in picturesI received an estimate by mail on 3/I called a few times on 3/and them on 3/I emailed since calls weren't being returnedI asked about body shops and I received an email (not generic) answeringI had some issues keeping me from getting to a body shopOn 3/30, I get it to oneI was called on 4/telling me the claim was deniedI was never informed until the body shop let meI called to get an explanationThe agent was very rude and seemed angry when I asked for reviewThought it was my prerogative to ask for one, but since the agent had looked at it, I guess I'm wrongThese people just don't want to be questionedJust asking a question and they think of you as a nobodyI never was angry or raised my voice, but this agent didPlease teach your agents manners

Very very awful and terrible experience!! Will never buy National General Insurance again! I bought the insurance, and 6 months later, I found my insurance was cancelled right after I bought it! without even informing me or refund me the 12 months money I paid!!! Called 5 times to ask about the investigation, which took a long time. And the six time I called, I was put on hold for more than 30 mins, and I ended the called and called back in, it was still hold, forever~~can not get another agent to talk to unless I changed another cellphone to call back! Do not buy National General Insurance!

I have never been in an accident before and was unsure how the process would goWe have all heard nightmare stories about dealing with insurance companies, but my experience was smooth and painlessI had an accident around noon and was in a rental car by 3pm that dayEvery representative was knowledgeable and extremely helpfulWithin a week I had a new car and a check for my totaled car in two weeksI am more than pleased with [redacted]  and plan on staying with them for a very long timeThank you!
