Positive experience great customer service

DO NOT get insurance thru National General!!! They are an unustworthy, money making scam! I held for an hour getting the run around from different people then randomly getting transferred to a new personEach person gave me a different storyI’m so pissed! We opened a camper policy on May I paid $for the month on May Today I called today to cancel because I found a cheaper companyNational General told me my $was just a down payment and I still owe $for the month of May plus $cancellation feeThey want $to cancel!!! Every other insurance company we have ever used has not done thisSo for month of camper coverage National General is charging $150!!!!!! We are going back to *** which only charges $a month and is trustworthyShare, share share! I don’t want anyone else to be their victim!

Would def recommend they found me a great rate and got me covered very quicklyThe representative was extremely helpfulGreat experience!

My claim was submitted back in 9/2017, I submitted my receipts for reimbursement of my car rental while repairs were being made to my vehicleIt is now 1/18/& the claims deptstill has NOT submitted my receipts for reviewI have called them on a weekly basis and hear the same excusesWHY DOES THE CUSTOMER HAVE TO KEEP CALLING FOR CLAIMS DEPT TO DO THEIR JOB?????!!!!! DOES NO ONE SUPERVISE THEMThey don't even record the telephone conversation as stated on their automated machine***, Brian *** acts like I call him the first time every time we speakThis is poor "customer / optimal service" they have to offer peopleIf the table is turned the company would drop me in a heartbeat for not paying what is owedThis company sucks in every aspectCompetent people should be hired and not *** *** who can't do their job without the customer calling them frequently to know the status on reimbursement

Never use this insurance companyThey charge fees for canceling even if you sale you item that was covered Plus they will send you straight to collections

I feel like I was deceived when they gave me my quote for home and auto insurance They never told me they were giving me the cost if I paid in full; I was not told that rate would jump by hundreds of dollars if I paid monthly I feel the fees for monthly payments (especially when the bill is set up to auto deduct) are excessive and exploitative and the practice of not telling people up front what it will cost to pay monthly, is wrong

These people received my phone number from a third party and have been calling endlessly for an entire week, even after repeated requests to be removed from their call listI initially received four calls in a row from an unknown number while.at work, so I excused myself to answer the last one only to discover it as solicitationThey call from the same number, so I have resorted to answering and requesting removal from their call list every time, but they have not stopped yetI have told their employees that I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com if it didn't stop and it hasn't

This insurance company conducts business in an extremely unethical manner It is very challenging to get them to stand by their policies and cover claims This company does NOT have the consumers best interested in mind Buyer beware with this company If you do decide to sign up, make sure you ask about the policy cancellation fee They are not forthcoming with that information and then you are stuck with an invoice if you do decided to cancel
My personal experience: There was a major hail storm (made national news) and National General stated that no storm was reported for the area on that date and timeThey stated that they were not going to cover damages from the storm until I went as far as submitting security camera footage, photos and news reports to support the claim Even then they didn't cover all the damages Very poor business relations

A week ago 05/16/I called to make changes to my policy and the system was downI called back times and each time it was still downI finally got someone who was helpful enough to add notes to my account and send an email for the back office to fix once the system came upShe explained it would take 24-hrs and to call backI called back 05/18/and it was still not addedI had another representative tell me that it could take another day, so I waited until 05/22/Giving them additional days! When I called a representative told me that the back office and the production team was still working on my policyIf there was a problem I should have been made aware of the problem but I wasn't! I don't even know if I have insurance on my car or not! I was originally with Nationwide and some how got switched over to National General which was the worst thing everI've never ran across a business that won't call customers back or even follow up when there's been an issue

My experience dealing with them had been insaneI was involved in a car accident and they have treated me like the opponents since I started dealing with my claimThe adjustor Victoria *** had the up most disrespect tone when calling meI dont think its fair when you suppose to be gathering and giving info about your claim to me with such attitudeI had to tell her I'll rather speak to a manger on Monday then let her talk to me the way she wasI dont think anyone with that mood should handle anybody's personal informationShe was rude and I couldn't allow her to be like that with me

Friendly and helpful staff

Great service I received from my Agent while she process my policy, she was very knowledgeable and funny, not only did I get Auto insurance full coverage, but renters insurance as well included with my policy same day serviceI will be definitely be recommending National General Insurance to my Family and friends
