Do not give them your businessThey aren't worth itThey aren't worth anythingI got in a car accident on a SaturdayI made my claim as soon as I couldThe lady on the phone told me right there and then that my car was a total loss and I had to go to the lot where my car was being kept to get my belongings out of it at 12pm on MondaySo I have to use my personal time at work to go get my stuff in a hurryThey assigned me to a claim representative named Justin who was supposed to contact me Monday afternoonNo contact at all from anyoneSo finally Wednesday I email him, no answerForward the email again Thursday, no answerAND again on FridaySo I finally call this claims repHe says since the car is a total loss that he is not the claim repThe lady told me when I reported the claim that it was a total loss, so why were you assigned my rep in the first place!?! First of all, he could have at least answered my many emailsSecond, he would not give me a name or number of anyone else handing my claim and said it could be WEEKS until someone is assigned to itTerrible serviceTerrible experienceTERRIBLE COMPANY

This company is absolutely unprofessional someone who is insured by National General hit my car nose to nose and they denied the claim because they believed the party that had hit me my vehicle was parked and unoccupied with $1,worth of damage and my claim was denied

Its a scam insurance They are running the insurance scam with their agent *** Insurance Please stay away from this insurance companyThey have mentioned 20$ as the cancellation charges in the document I have receivedThey have charged me 287$ initially and now again asking for 181$ for days of insurance.*** Insurance are not even providing me the signed document

So far all of my experiences have been positive! Coverage is reasonably priced, the customer service reps have been awesome in answering questions and/or concerns, and I REALLY like the emails I have received with ideas & suggestions for preparing for hurricane FlorenceI'm not in that areabut if I had been, the info they provided would have been invaluable! I feel like they truly careVery rare these days indeed!

I filed a vehicle insurance claim for vandalism to my car Someone burglarized my car and broke the front passenger window I talked to the claims representative assigned to my claim (***) on the phone on Sep6, and am concerned that my claim will not be settled in good faith The rep spoke down to me in an unprofessional manner and was rude
When I told her that I left my car at the auto shop, the rep then said "Who told you to take the car to the auto shop" and "I don't understand why you would take it to the auto shop before we authorize it"I found this way of talking to be unprofessional and it was not appreciated
The rep also cut me off several times and talked over me when I was explaining that talking down to me was not appreciatedShe cut me off to accuse me of yelling and getting angry I did raise my voice but was not yelling or being impossible to speak with We were able to complete the call and I believe she collected the information she called abo

Horrible company to deal with I have a very custom motorcycle that was damagedI have 20k additional coverage for paint and accessoriesMy motorcycle was knocked over in a parking lotEvery item that requires repair and replacement has been a fightOr they want to reduce the repair cost so much the shop doesn't want to do the repairNow there is a $supplemental claimAnd they won't respondSiting a fired employee and hurricanesHowever my information was submitted prior to the hurricane and the person they firedGo anywhere but National GeneralI'm years old and they are by far the worst I have dealt with

Great customer service, they always provide helpful suggestions for coverage, their rates are reasonable We have been insured with them for many years and are very satisfied

I had a great experience with National General Insurance pertaining to my carOne of their clients hit my car in the parking lot while I was in the doctor's officeNational General Insurance did an admirable job paying to have my car repaired and providing a rental vehicleI was impressed with their representative, Mike McCune, who kept me up to date on the progress of repairs and provided all that was needed to get my car repaired

Our car was hit on interstate by a truck tireResulting body and suspension and tire and apparently AC issues*** of Huntsville threw parts away, even though it was a insurance issueMr Rusty *** of National General, claims dept admitted that he could not see everything from virtual pictures we were required to take and also since parts were missing had to judge on what he could see.*** claims that what happened in the dash should be coveredRusty says no, even though the car was hit in the front and these sensors were fine before the accidentis balance *** is willing to help with everything but 2100.00, due to the mistake that they made we feel that National General should pick up and we will pay do deducts less

Excellent customer service! I cancelled my short term insurance since I got group coverage now and the sales rep, Cody, not only handled the matter efficiently and professionally, he also helped me save a lot of $ with a refund I hadn't thought of Best service in very long

A person insured by National General hit my driver's door and bent it backwardsTo the point that it had to be jacked in order to be closedI contacted them on 2/I was told I'd be called by an agentI finally called them again on 2/Spoke with someone who told me a link would be sent for me to send picturesI never received itCalled on 2/and one was sent and I sent in picturesI received an estimate by mail on 3/I called a few times on 3/and them on 3/I emailed since calls weren't being returnedI asked about body shops and I received an email (not generic) answeringI had some issues keeping me from getting to a body shopOn 3/30, I get it to oneI was called on 4/telling me the claim was deniedI was never informed until the body shop let meI called to get an explanationThe agent was very rude and seemed angry when I asked for reviewThought it was my prerogative to ask for one, but since the agent had looked at it, I guess I'm wrongThese people just don't want to be questionedJust asking a question and they think of you as a nobodyI never was angry or raised my voice, but this agent didPlease teach your agents manners

Although I just bought my policy, my experience with the two associates I dealt with was a real pleaseI go through *** *** for all my RV needs and this is how I ended up with National General

Very quick and easy experience! Definitely eoukf recommend to others!

Excellent customer service I would recommend Nat Gen to anyone

We have found this company to be very good to work with so far Price was cheaper than what we had been paying as well Very helpful with questions!
