My husband got in an accident on April 6,and I filed a claim the next morningI was informed that my personal adjuster would be contacting me on Monday (which was in two days)I did not receive a call and waited until Friday to call the adjuster and left a voicemailCalled again the following week a couple more times and no responseI finally called the main claims department a few days after and they transferred me to the adjusterHe claimed that he tried to call me several times but there must be something wrong with my phone...I informed him it was a brand new phone with same phone number and had not received a call from him and that I was sending and receiving other calls just fineHe brushed that off and proceeded to tell me about the estimate he did on my car and stated the damage was less than my deductible and shouldn’t file a claimI told him that was impossible it is definitely more than that and he said I could take the car somewhere else for an estimateWell I did that and the body shop I took it too wrote an estimate of nearly $9000,way more than what he said it wasSo I called him and left him a message and again he did not return my call nor the call that the insurance specialist at the body shop left himI contacted claims department and asked for his supervisor and left a messageShe didn’t not reach out to me but the next day my insurance adjuster did stating that he recognized the difference in estimates and will be sending out someone to do another estimate because they believed the estimate I got was too highThat was five days ago and did not receive a call from my adjuster until I again called claims department and asked for his supervisor’s supervisorThey didn’t have that information but stated they would send an escalation letter and a person from management in the escalation department would call me back within hoursNot ten minutes after that my adjuster calls and tells me he is just waiting for the guy who did the estimate to write it up and send it to himhe sounded so nonchalant and I was upset I couldn’t even say what I needed to say to him.Meanwhile the management in escalation department never called and after and half hours I called back but they were closed for the dayIt’s now May 21st and my vehicle is still at the body not being worked on I have rental car insurance with my policy but adjuster says it’s not a claim because it’s below my deductible and I have been borrowing cars from family and friends being an inconvenience to them and with my husband and myself being inconveniencedThis company needs to pay for my car to get fixed ASAP and they need to comp my deductible for this complete disaster of lack of communication and extreme inconvenience and stress this has put on my familyI hope to get an immediate response and conclusion of this

I have been with National General for a little over a year We are so pleased with their customer service We insure all our cars, truck, trailer and even our home with this great company This was a bonus, as we made the switch initially for their great rates!

My agent was super nice and explained everything well

My team member was very knowledgeable and professional and got right into what we did and did not need for coverage on home and carsLike it!

National General Insurance sent me an email on 10/26/that my policy was up for renewal on 12/01/and in the email were electronic documents that required an e-signature to agree to the new policy running from 12/01/through 12/01/I signed the electronic documents and awaited notice of the new policy and an update to the website so that I could make my next payment via the websiteIt is important to note that you can not make payments until the website updates to reflect the new policyThen on 12/04/I receive an email that my policy has been cancelled three days earlier on 12/01/due to non-paymentI promptly paid the first monthly payment, but was also charged $additionally as a "reinstatement fee"I contacted National General Insurance to explain that I never received any emails either that they had received my renewal email or cancellation reminders beforehand even though I am signed up for email notifications and remindersTheir response was that "The electro

on 9/30/i got into a car accidenti was feeling a lot of pain in my hip leg shouders and most of all my left wriston10/2/i went to *** *** *** ** located at*** *** ***.they told me to make sure and come to their office at least four times a week that I didi got my physical therapy and myacupuncture treatments which make me feel better a few days later they said they have an attorney for me.the attorney paralegal michael *** came to the medical office gave me a card which says leonard b *** *** **  michael *** told me to make sure I come to the medical office everday and go to my appointments so the insurance company national general would pay for my medical billswhenever he calls me it was always about making sure I am going to the medical office on march28th national general told me that they would not pay for anymore treatment on april 2nd I received a letter from leonard * *** my attorney that he canot represent me anymorei call him and ask him why he told me I dont have serious injuries why I didnot take more mristhe medical office told me ididnot say neck and back that is why my lawyer drop me when national general insurance call me they toldme that my lawyer said that I donot have serious injuriesthey only could offer me dollars for my settlement I believed that lawyers should represent their clients not the medical office or the insurance company I felt that I am a victim of insurance fraudi cant sleep at night now I have emotional upset alot of pain and suffering I feltb betrayed by my lawyer the medical office and national general insurance company

I am a current customer but after this experience, I am not sure how much longer I will beI got into an accident on Friday November I had to reach out to my claims adjuster hours after the accident because he never reached out to meHe called me back and assured me that my car would be towed to my desired collision centerMy car wasn’t towed to the collision center until Tuesday November 20thMind you, this was two days before ThanksgivingThat was the last time that I heard from my claims asjusterI have left him voicemails since then and he has not called me backThe last voicemail that I sent was on Monday the 26thI got a call from the APPRAISER (not my claims adjuster) around 4pm on the 26th with an estimate for my carHe told me that the body shop would start on my car when the parts came in and it would take about days to fixToday is the 29th and and tomorrow will make two whole weeks that I have been without a carI am not an unreasonable personI understand that my accident happened the week before Thanksgiving and there would be some delayBut if my car had been towed on the SAME DAY of the accident like I was told, maybe I wouldn’t be in this situationOn top of that, I feel like there was a big lack of communication from my claims adjusterI called the customer service hotline this morning and spoke with a very nice representative that heard me out on my complaintShe told me that I had the option of being transferred to my adjuster’s supervisor and notify him of my concernsI asked if there were any other options because I was nervous about any kickback on my claim due to my complaintShe assured that this was not a vindictive company and that I would be heardSo I was transferred to my adjuster’s supervisorHe was very defensive about it being a holiday week and that they are playing catch up(Again, my accident happened days before Thanksgiving)He said that he would speak to my adjuster and make sure that I am contacted on every step from now on in my claimBut there was nothing else that he could do for me because now it is up to the collision center to get my car back to meI left that conversation not feeling very comforted or assured that I am in good hands which is prompting me to write this review nowIn the future, I hope that this company does a better job in training their personnel on customer service and how to speak to a dissatisfied customerEspecially since I was never hostile or angryI just wanted my concerns to be heard

Cheap compared to others even *** * Love themDefinitely would recommend themFor the price I got, I got full coverage and a renter car and road side assistance at a good rate

I own this property (*** *** *** *** ** *** and on the morning of April 1, *** *** *** fell asleep while driving and damaged my property of a historical topiary of plants as well as a decorative wall of blocks that cannot be replaced He admitted to the police officer that he fell asleep and presented a valid insurance card covering him and his dodge van That afternoon, Mr*** cancelled his policy with National General Insurance at the Valleytown Insurance office in Andrews, not mentioning that the vehicle was involved in an accident that morning The National General insurance company cancelled his policy dated and stamped backwards to be effective 12:on 4/1/but as I mentioned, the accident occurred at 7:am on 4/1/and at the time he had insuranceI have talked to this insurance company many times and have gotten nowhere It is also interesting to know that this person also obtained another insurance policy from this company at a later date

I have just purchased a Home owner's policy from National General Insurance Company Everything was very professional and the process was very easy to complete the application

Do Not Deal with National General!!
They convinced me into going with their company bad mistake Customer service was very difficult Sent me notice they would be cancelling my policy for not receiving signed paperwork which I had sent back as soon as I received it Then received notice that my ins would be more than what was quoted Did not feel good about their lack of service/professional so I called to cancel and went back to my previous insurerI had paid I received a check for total amount of For days of insurance it cost me 229.49!!! The representative told me that was within their right to charge for cancel Do not trust them!

I changed auto insurance from N.Gto *** in June of *** let N.Gknow about the cancellationMy bill was paid by automatic deduction from my checking account on the 25th of each monthOn the 21st of June, N.Gtook the payment for from my accountI checked with ***, who confirmed that they had informed N.GI assumed (my 1st mistake) that I would get a check from N.GWhen this hadn't happened as we approached July 25th, I called N.GAccording to the robot (automatic answerer), my policy was still in forceI contacted a real person who looked into the matter and told me he found the information from *** with a note on it which said "take no action"He told me he would handle everything and that I would either get a check or the money would get put back into my accountI have received a notice from N.Gthat my policy has been cancelled as of June 25th and a check was included in the amount of I would love to get the rest of my payment back

I have been dealing with National General Insurance since the first week of September for damages on my RVI went to get estimates and have sent in multiple pictures as requested and continue to get the run around I am now on the 3rd representative managing this case and still nothing has been done we are approaching November with no progress made on my claim Beware of this company and I do NOT recommend (zero stars if possible) Revdex.com please help
