I have been trying repeatedly to get a hold of the claims agent (Jonathan ***) to receive my reimbursement for the rental car I had to get while my truck was repaired I have called numerous times and emailed people to try and get a hold of the company to no avail My claim number is ***

ABSOLUTE CROOKS, partial denial on a claim that was proven that the damage wasn't there until after the tire blow out and argued with me stating I didn't have prove even though I had time stamped photo prove of before and afterThey WORSE EVER experience with insurance, then to top it off they denied extending my hotel stay coverage due to repairs not being fixed because of them delaying the process on their end and still didn't pay leaving me and my family homeless for seven days with one of my daughters being sick and my wife went in for emergency surgery WHILE BEING HOMELESS! NOTHING LIKE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH OF PEOPLE'S HOUSES with a sick year old and a wife out of a surgery with a belt line incision! I am a member of *** *** who suggested that Nationwide General Insurance had the best RV coverage for most all damages or issues that may occur In early Spring we removed the cover from our camper to begin to prepare for the season until record rainfalls occurred and delayed us from opening it When we did, we had water damage which under the policy "I WAS PROVIDED" and had been provided had coverage for water, hail and flooding However, when I filed the claim they sent some guy who just takes pictures and is not the actual adjuster deciding your case Then I got an email from the women handling the case that said claim was denied due to an "exclusion" in theclause which I was never provided that said it doesn't cover "leakage and seepage" however, no one ever determined how the water entered but even with that said my clause the one I was provided at time of sisaid it covers water damage Nationwide could not prove the clause I was provided and had no record of my initials or signature and I asked for this several times So basically no one actually saw my camper just pics and denied it for an exclusion page I never received Everyone, be VERY AWARE of the clauses you are provided by this company because when you really need your insurance company they find every way not to pay your claims but instead just collect your premiums

it important to have coverage, just frustrated that I have to pay up front for towing service, then the hassle begins in filing a claim just to get reimburse for towing service, and then waiting for a checkit should be included, should of done my home work before buying policy

This is the worst company to work withI was involved in a rear end collision on May 7th evening by a National General Insured DriverThe police were on the scene and the case indicated that it is the fault of the driverOn May 8th I submitted a claim (3304314) with National GeneralI was told by the adjuster until they investigate the case to determine whose fault it was, I should pay for my car rentalTwo days later, the adjuster told me, it was their driver's fault and gave me the name of the guy who will estimate the collision damageThe guy who was supposed to provide the estimate was off for a week and showed up a week later (now weeks since the accident 5/21)I was provided the estimate and I took the car to the nearest collision shopIn the meantime this Adjuster said the estimated man hours for the repair is so and so and I will reimburse you for rental for those many days onlyIn all since May 8th to today June 19th, I got paid dollars a day for daysI don't have a car since May 29thThe collision shop wouldn't repair the car as they are not able to contact the Adjuster (N ***No matter how many phone calls and voice mails, the Adjuster wouldn't respondThe collision shop guy basically said they are putting my car behind the rest of the customers as there is no response from the Adjuster at National GeneralI called the Adjuster so many times and left voice mails and there was no responseThe collision shop basically said it may take a couple of months to repair the carI had no choice but to take my car to another shopNow the new shop provided supplemental charges for repair after their inspectionThey sent the pictures via email to the Adjuster about a week agoThe shop called the Adjuster and left voice mails with no responseI left voice mails and called times today and no responseI don't have a car to drive for almost days, the Adjuster wouldn't respond to emails/ calls or voice mails and I have no idea when my car will be readyI am basically paying money out of my pocket for a National General customer's faultI am now keeping a email trail of all my communications with this companyI also have the emails from the Collision companyNational General is a bad faith company with un-reasonable delays and unethical practicesIf I don't receive a response in the next two days, I will start considering legal process in a courtIf you are involved in an accident with a National General Insured driver, expect the following:
Unreasonable delays - no response to emails / voice mails or anything
Collision Shops hate dealing with themIf you end up with your car at the shop, your Car will be repaired lastNo rental cars, coercive conduct
Monetary losses
I won't recommend National General even to my worst enemy! Be Warned !!!!

I just bought a Ford Fusion a couple of weeks agoDealership referred me to an insurance agent who got me full coverage through National General5/14/after having my car for only days it was vandalized while I was at workI took out a police report and notified my work place to find out there were no cameras in employee parking area and that other employees have had it happen to themI called National General to make my claimThey sent an adjuster out to look at the damage who assessed it at around $He stated they would send a check for $because of my $deductibleThe next day I receive a call from their office stating it did not look like vandalism and asked if anyone scraped my car against somethingI told them no I had been the only driver...to work and home and I have people who could verify those marks were done while parked at my jobShe said she'd contact her managerThey called the next day and very rudely called me a liar saying the marks on the

I can't say that this company is awful but what I can say is that they do not hold their employees accountable for their customer service or providing a quick turnaroundResponse times are extremely slow and we encountered the absolute WORST claims rep, Shelby ***, who is an Investigation Specialist with this company He is rude and narcissistic and his behavior throughout our entire process was just unacceptable He literally yelled at us over the phone, insinuated that we stole our own car (which was what the original claim was for), and hung up on us multiple times He blocked numbers from his phone so that when the officer that later recovered our vehicle from a hit and run could give her statement, she was unable to reach him, causing the process to drag out and essentially causing us to have to pay for our own rental car since the maximum for our rental benefit had been reached It's been over weeks, and an adjuster has not even gone to look at the car Our car sat in the wrecker lot for over two weeks, and accrued a very significant bill Shelby told us to go and pick up our car so it wouldn't incur anymore charges but when we went, he had not called to pay the bill They wanted us to pay over $to pick up that car that still had not been looked at by the adjuster He yelled at us for not getting our notarized affidavit and police report in to him by Friday, but he told us originally that he knew it would take a while to get the police report because you have to request it and have it mailed We faxed it into him that Friday evening and it's been another week and we still don't have any movement with our claim Shelby has blocked my husband's cell from his phone so that he can no longer even leave him a message and he is very short in his emails, not giving any explanation as to where we are in the process Completely uncalled for He literally should be fired for his behavior We have called to submit a complaint to his manager and was told that he would review the recordings of our conversation but no action has been taken and it still seems that Shelby still has our claim and is taking his precious time processing it while we are stuck paying for a rental I do NOT recommend this company and we are working to obtain a lawyer to deal with this

The CSR was very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable with getting my current policy cancelled and establishing a new policy in a different stateI have been a customer for a few years and the customer service has always been greatThank you

I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I saved when switching to National General InsuranceEvery experience with them has been extremely informativeAnyone owning an RV needs to speak with them on how to save money on insurance

I had been with National General Insurance since I was hired into General Motors in and it was MIC InsuranceThey have been the best insurance Company I have had the experience of employingGreat response and follow through of all claims I have submitted and insure all my trailers and toys as well as great rates on my house and automobilesDo not think this is strictly for house or auto onlyAll personnel whether the company is MIC, GMAC, Homesite or National General through the years are very friendly and informed sympathizing with your situation

I needed new health insurance to start in JanuaryIn December, I called United Blue Cross/Blue Shield for a quoteI was somehow led to this sham of a companyJesse M*** the agent stated he was licensed to give me prices and sign me up for any planHe then quoted me one amount for my insuranceI verified with him that my Dr.'s were in network because that is the only reason I would pay $100/month more for a planHe verified they wereWhen I called back to do the enrollment, I verified once again that my Doctors were in network, he verifiedHe couldn't get my regular health insurance to start until February so I had to be put on a short term plan for January So let me break down each issue:
They verified only the January plan would be withdrawn from my Account in December:
Not true- They took both January and February costs out of my accountAs you can imagine over $withdrawn that isn't supposed to be is a problem
I had to go to the Drin January and I needed a prescriptionWent to the pharmacy and I didn't have Prescription coverage- That was not explained to me in any discussion about this short term planover $out of pocket
Random payments were being taken out of my account: Not by my request, Jesse M*** signed me up for dental insurance and also selected the wrong term length for my short term medical planI was paying for both plansOver $in unauthorized charges and I am still waiting on the majority of credits
I took my son to the Dr(I verified was in network)Guess what, they called me to tell me the claim was deniedYep....MY DOCTORS ARE NOT IN NETWORK AND NEVER WEREI know doctors can drop off when they want, but they were never on the planI verified with Blue Cross/Blue ShieldI am now out of pocket $for a DrVisit and I am stuck paying the extra $every month and I have to find all new Dr.s
5.When I got my initial quote in December it was one price, Yep you guessed it, the second phone call when we signed up it was now $more a monthObviously something was forgotten during the first conversation
Now for how the company handled each issue: I e-mailed the agent Jesse M*** times and called numerous times and left messages to help me resolve all of these issuesThat was in JanuaryIt is now March 13th and I NEVER RECEIVED ONE E-MAIL OR PHONE CALL FROM HIM
I finally had to get ahold of another agent who then took my claim to the escalations departmentI was told it could take days to go through the process
I dealt with Frankie Wiseman in the escalation departmentThe worst customer service I have ever experiencedThis department should be unbiased and deal with facts from the phone conversations they listen toInstead she kept defending Jesse M***' mistakesShe told me the phone rings constantly so it is hard to call backUm...what? Send an e-mail, have someone else deal with a customer that has issuesThis is unacceptable and at the root of anything customer focusedIf you are licensed to sign someone up for a policy, you better make the time to fix your mistakesI had to ensure that since there is nothing they could do, this needed to be brought to the attention of his managerSadly, I don't think there will be any accountability
They don't know why the funds were all withdrawn at once
They can't defend why the short term plan wasn't broken down so I knew there was no Rx coverage
He did sign me up for Dental that I didn't request- waiting on refunds
He did sign me up for a month short term plan instead of one month -When I had to call and cancel, they forgot to cancel another payment associated with the short term plan- still waiting on credits
They still can't tell me why Jesse would have said the doctors are covered- but they won't take accountability for the error because there is nothing they can do
And for the difference in the monthly rate- Frankie Wiseman from escalations actually asked me "why I was hung up on the first quote I got" because the second call broke it all downYes, I am still "hung up" because the agent messed up with his first quote and I have it in writing
The sad news is you can change your policy within days if you are not happy with itWell, If any agent from the company would have called me back to address my issues, I would have done just that and could have saved myself over $Now I am stuck with a plan until a qualifying event or open enrollmentThere needs to be more regulation over these third party insurance companies and their agentsNext stop - to let the Department of Insurance know

Waiting on a claim since may

This claim was originally filed on 10/5/2015 After numerous messages left on Mr Calvin C[redacted]'s voice mail, and not receiving any return calls, I was finally able to call and talk with him concerning my claim, I asked him to notify me when he had spoken to someone in the service department at [redacted], Lake City Fl. whee I had been instructed by a woman in the claims department to take it for an estimate. After again not hearing from Mr. C[redacted] several days later, I spoke with the service department at [redacted], and was told that Mr. C[redacted] had requested photos of the damage. Again speaking to the service department at C.W. approximately 2 weeks later, they had not heard from Mr. C[redacted], and were awaiting an authorization from NGI. On 10/26/2015 I spoke with a person at NGI, since again Mr. C[redacted]'s voice mail was not answered, and requested his supervisor, which I was connected to a Mr. R[redacted], and his voice mail stated he would be out of the office until after the 20th of Oct ( date now 10/26/2015), connecting back to the switchboard, I requested a supervisor to speak with NOW, after some time Mr. C[redacted] answered the phone and after several excuses, advised me the claim was being reviewed, and a check should be sent out by Wednesday 10/28/2015. This process has taken 21 days, if indeed the check is received on the date stated. The claims department return calls, are non existent, this is unacceptable. If my response for payment on my policy was this slow, I would receive a cancellation of policy. Once this claim is finished, so is my business with National General Ins. Co.

Review: I contacted my home owners insurance company on 5/20/15 to inform them that my roof had been damaged by the recent hail storms here in [redacted] Texas. An insurance adjuster was sent out to my home to inspect the roof, and found that my roof did have hail and wind damage. Also, on the inside of my house, I have water damage on the ceiling throughout the house. I also paid a roofer out of my own pocket $125 to try to patch the leaks for now until I could get my insurance company to inspect the damages. The insurance adjuster came to my home and inspected the roof and the water damage to the ceiling, and admitted that there is damage. Then the insurance company sent a check for only $746.70 to fix all of the damage. This isnt enough to fix my roof and the water damage inside of my home. My policy #[redacted] / claim # [redacted]. Imperial Fire & Casualty [redacted] Winston-Salem,NC. 27102. Phone ###-###-#### fax ###-###-####Desired Settlement: The resolution that I'm needing is for the insurance company to pay to have these repairs fixed promptly. I need a new roof to be put on my home with 30 year shingles and the ceiling inside my home repaired from the water damages from the leaking roof asap.

The final report was received by the handling adjuster on June 1 and payment was issued to Ms. [redacted] on June 2 in the amount of $746.70 ($2,183.70 replacement cost estimate, less $1,437.00 deductible).Quite simply, the damages incurred were deemed repairable and not extensive anywhere to the point of a complete new roof being warranted. I have spoken to a roofing expert to give me a quote for the roof.he told me I need a whole new roof replacement because the shingles are damaged very badly.the roof is leaking and the repairs would cost more then 2100 dollars.

Review: I have received 46 calls today (June 16, 2015) since 10:20am and it is only 2:48pm from this company. They have been calling me for several days but today it has become outrageous. Today I also starting receiving text messages from the company for someone else's name. I have spoken to more than 4 people to have my phone number removed and also have my number on the National Do-Not-Call List. However, they continue to call me from different numbers in different states. I would like these calls to stop as I did not submit my name or number for any type of health insurance. I have been at my full-time job for more than 5 years and I have health insurance with my company. I do not need any other insurance.
