I had a very positive experienced with National InsuranceSo far, they're the best company I've ever dealt with, and I'd quickly recommended them to anyone I know for auto insurance

A dealer sold my previous travel trailer for me I hadn't heard from the dealer regarding the sale I got nervous because I felt someone else may be driving around with my travel trailer and realized I better call National General to cancel my insurance I was so happy when the representative got me and the dealer on a three way call and we all three talked I had previously called the dealer and wasn't getting anywhere It had been three weeks since it sold After our conversation, It was all closed out pretty quickly I purchased another travel trailer as I have been looking for a new one for about a year now I went back to National General for insurance on the new trailer I am getting a great rate and the customer service is always top notch! I feel grateful Thank you National General!

After two and a half years of having up to three vehicles insured with them, we decided to cancel it because we discovered that they were charging us more than double of the price than one of the top three insurance companies in the marketOnce we decided to cancel the policy and after paying on time every single month, they sent us a letter saying that we owed over $because we had a yearly policyThat was never told to us and we never committed to thatWe have requested a proof of commitment from our side and after four months they never sent anything but a collection agency to claim for that debtDo not trust this company

National General is a terrible insurance company I was driving into my bank to make a deposit when one of their insured crashed into me from a parking space, I obviously had the right of way I had two small children in the car, one years old, and my other was years old A truck that was the size of a Uhaul t-boned me, causing damage to my back drivers side quarter panel and my back drivers side tire My car is now very unsafe to drive, let me remind you, I have children This insurance company has been giving me and my insurance company the complete run around, refusing to accept liability on this accident, and just leaving this pending for over a month This is absolutely terrible practice, as you want an insurance company to always pay for people who's property has been damaged by your insured, WHICH this insurance company refuses to do Now i'm waiting to for the security footage from my bank because this company refuses to take liability on an accident that was absol

I had a loss on my RV.....some folks witnessed storm damage occurring I filed a claim last September I talked to the adjuster once The repair place took pictures and sent it to them No response No response Finally, I talked with Diana (on Dec 1) She said they were not going to cover it as (I forget the exact wording..but that there was previous damage) There was damage prior to my purchase, but it had been repaired She said she would send me something in writing and I told her that I wanted to appeal the decision She said she would let them know It is now weeks and I haven't heard a thing and I can't get by the automated phone system I wish I could give them a zero rating I will not be renewing

My husband was sideswiped by one of National General's clients two weeks agoMy husband and I carry full coverage through Progressive, who we called first to report the accident just in case the other party did not have insuranceOut accident happened on a SaturdayI called National General on the following Monday to report ensure that the other party had reported the claim (which they didn't) so I filed a claim on their insurance with the police report and quote of repairs in handTwo weeks later, we finally had a claims adjuster come out and take pictures of the entire car, inside and out, which wasn't necessaryThey then told us that it would be 5-more days before we could send our car in for repairsI absolutely refused this and called the agent in charge of our claim and he told me that I would be able to take my car to any shop I chose for repairs and that he would give me a reservation number for a rentalTook three hours to get the reservation number for EnterpriseWe get there and they tell us that the insurance company only approved a Nissan VersaMy husband is 6'3" and cannot fit into a Nissan VersaWe own a Malibu which is twice the Versa's sizeAgain, we refused and they bumped us up to a Chrysler As soon as we got the rental, we drove both vehicles to the Chevrolet dealership (about miles from the rental store), and dropped the vehicle off, signing necessary papers for themI got a call from Progressive today saying that the Chevy dealership called them to have them pay for repairs and just wanted to confirm with me since I had made it clear that the other insurance carrier would cover the chargesI gave them the phone number of the National General agent I have been working with, told them that he had supposedly spoken to the Chevy dealership yesterday, and that my insurance was NOT to pay for any of the repairs since Nation General has told me they are covering them all (over $5,in damages)I am sure that there are going to be a lot more issues with this companyThis has been the WORST hassle I have ever had to go through with an insurance companyI understand that, as a business, you are supposed to be leery of insurance claims, but when MY insurance agent called you and has all of the documentation necessary and is willing to cooperate with you, it shouldn't take a potential month to get the vehicle in the shop for repairsI hope to God that I NEVER get into accident with someone carrying this insurance company!!!

My insurance came up for renewal on May I made no contract but previously had the payments taken of my checking account out the year before.They pulled on May I cancled on May they are still billing me an additional so that total is for days of insurance that I fill is too much.I should have got a refund instead of a bill.You help in this matter will greatly be appreciated

I had a problem with my policy, it was due to the way my agent set up my payment plan, so I contacted customer service and they were very understanding, waived a penalty for non payment and completely corrected the issue to my satisfaction Very pleasant and the rep deserves to be applauded

the agent was very kind and helpful on Friday afternoon, I was in kind of a rush and I really appreciate her help in order to get my car insurance

Had National General for Home insurance for years, never had to file a claim until last year for some water damageOne year after that claim, they decide to drop us for the reason “one claim in years time”Makes no sense to meBuyer beware, if you submit a claim be prepared to be dropped

After several calls and emails, company refuses to send copy of homeowners policy I just keep getting the declarations page and sass saying that is the policy

I have no disputecompany denied water damage claim stating that the water leak from the refrigerator ice maker connection was not covered because it was considered a hidden leak We filed a claim had an adjuster come out to inspect and were then told that it would not be covered I would not recommend this insurance company for any homeowner
