collection agency which was collecting on an outdated loan in Mr***’s name which dates back to August, The original creditor was *** *** LLC, and they issued an original loan ID number ending in ***. We originally spoke with Mr*** on March 30, and at that time advised him of the account we have in our office and all it entailedAt that time Mr*** advised us that he would like to dispute the validity of the loan, and our associate immediately moved his account into a non-working dispute statusThere have been no further communication or collection attempts since that initial conversation. After a thorough investigation it was found that there have never been any other accounts in Mr. ***’s name in our officeThe above referenced account was worked for the first time on March 29, 2016, and therefore it is not possible that we spoke to him prior to that dateTherefore, Mr*** has us confused with another companyNational follows all Federal laws; specifically the Fair Debt Collection Practices ActOur associates are trained to follow those regulations, and to be professional and courteous at all timesAt no point in time was Mr*** threatened with legal action, nor was there ever any mention of a bad check by any of our associates. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The company never once asked me for my email address The rep, Joe, only continued to raise his voice at me when I told him this was a scam. When you buy a house, they look into your entire financial history for any unpaid debts because it impacts what loan you get, if any Not only that, but any payday loan I have ever taken out was always drafted and paid in full which was at least 8yrs ago I have contacted the attorney general and will contact other agency friends of mine as well so that this scam comes to light As I stated, I'm sure I'm not the only one that this has happened to It's just about finding all the people and getting class action lawsuits together Not to mention, if this was legit, then they would have my email sons it has not changed in 10yrs. Regards,
*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The company failed to to respond to the CFPB in regards to this because they are in violation of the federal lawI informed them my identity was stolen and used fraudulently and for them to immediately remove my name from their recordsAdditionally for them to cease and desist contacting me and any or people related to meI filed with the CFPB because my name and information was improperly used and requested this company to provide proof of a actual contract and my actual physical signatureThey didn’t respond legally to the CFPBThis debt is not mines and request for them to properly delete this debt as fraud and identity theft promptly.
