Its been almost weeks to get a replacement couch pillowWhen I call them they tell me parts were ordered; and that someone will call meThey dont
I purchased a year protection plan on my furniture from Value City two years agoI made a claim back on February 20ishThe Throw pillow for the couch split along the seamI was told it takes weeks to get the pillowI found that to be ridiculous considering they still sell this couch and there are tons of them at the storeHowever, I have waited almost weeks nowWhen you look online they have the case set as closedWhen I call in to tell them I haven't received them I get told that they will send a note to Parts to find out why and someone will get back to me
I have done this times now and they refuse to update me or get back to meI have no way of speaking with parts and I am out of optionsI feel I was scammed by paying the money for this warranty as this company is horrible!

We were "sold" a warranty with Macy's that would be years for a couch that we paid over $3,Before the couch was even years old, a third party company was sent to look at our broken couchThere was a plastic piece holding the springs into the base of the chair that fell apart (because they are plastic...not a solid metal)We then received a letter from this Uniters North America telling us that this kind of thing was not "under warranty." The springs to a couch are not included in a year warranty? We were over and over again, that our warranty would cover everything for years
In order to dispute this company's decision that they would not cover our situation, you had to submit a letter via mail within daysThere is no phone number to call, and I guess you can email, but this is what the statement says:
"If you disagree with us, you have the option to dispute our decision in writing within daysPlease review and confirm coverage before proceedingWarranty service does not accept nor acknowledge disputes via telephoneDisputes must include a letter of dispute, a copy of your warranty, and a copy of your original sales receipt
Please attach at least photos at good lighting and at different anglesBe sure to take a photo of the entire item and a few close ups of the affected areaDisputes will be reviewed and a final decision rendered to you in writing within approximately (thirty) days."
The technician who came had already taken all of these pictures...and in fact left my sectional in pieces (so now I have a broken couch that is not attached as I cannot do it on my own)I am the kind of person who does actually keep paperwork, but I think it is ridiculous that the only way to submit a dispute is to have your original receipt and your original warrantyI put in all of this information digitally when we purchased the couch!
So, I am now paying for a warranty, that will not cover what I was promised, and there seems to be little room to contact an actual person to discuss the matterAnd, in my mind, covering springs in a couch would be a basic level warranty when you are paying for a warranty that is a year coverage

Uniters Warranty Service came to my house to clean a stain on my love seat They did a good job, were pleasant on the phone, came in a short period of time and I was very pleased It is so hard nowadays to get good service

On May 22, I filed a claim with Uniters after my 2-year old colored on an upholstered chairIn this call, I explained what had happened and was thorough in my report of the extent of the damageI also have a screen shot of their portal where they logged the details of that callI was advised at that time that the damage was covered and they would be dispatching a technician to clean it
