I purchased a warranty and have filed a claim three times with them, they all have been denied in some cases without a reason given
The first time I filed a complaint was on Jan 2017, I took pictures of the cracking sofa covered under the warranty, but only took pics of the seating cushion since it was the most cracked partThey denied the claim because the type of leather in the cushion is not covered under that warranty
I refiled on Jan sending the pictures of a cracked piece of the couch that is not the seating cushionThey just denied it, without even saying whyI tried to ask them a reason and no one got back to me
I refiled on Feb 14th, the denied saying that since the damage was first noticed on Dec 31, 2016, the days to file a claim had passed
At that moment I decided, they are just there to deny any claim by any excuse and hope people get tired and give up
I will not allow them to jerk me around anymore, they had their chance to honor their policy

On 10/9/I contacted Uniters NA about a protection plan we purchased on some bedroom furniture from *** and was told to submit pictures and I was given claim # CXXXXXXXThe claim was to repair some chipping along one of the side bed rails and to an electrical short in the night stand night light
I received a response on 10/19/saying this was wear and tearIn my copy of the brochure we received there is nothing about wear and tear not being covered and it says that chipping/dents/gauges are covered
On 10/24/I submitted a dispute review and on 11/21/I received a response saying that structural damage is not covered and that the bed "reflects damages that occurred over time and not from a single occurrence like the warranty covers"I am not even sure what this means but there's nothing in my brochure that says anything about "occurrences"They also mention that "due to the extent and severity of the damage,

Unitersna refuses to respect warranty claim
-On July 16, we have filled a claim ( Claim #CXXXXXXX) with Unitersna in regards to some of a furniture purchased in Value City Furniture on 10/02/(Invoice XXX-XXXXX) The claim was in regards to the following:
Ottoman- had a few stains
Dining room set: table-peaces of wood are chipping off where it is clearly visible, chairs-some of the chairs have a structural failures- when you seat on some of the chairs you sinc in the cushionEven though this is not so obviously visible, when you seat on other good chairs one can clearly tell the difference
As a part of the sale, furniture came with a year Pure Promise warranty that should cover any accidental stain, damage, structure protection
-On July 29, a technician came out to look at the furnitureSince my husband and I work during week, there was a prior agreement with a technician that he would call minutes before his arrival, however, without a call, he ju

We purchased a WorryNoMore plan from Macy's with the purchase of our leather sectionalThis plan was to cover accidents...Uniters did not honor this
Our cat peed on our couch and though we were able to wipe most of it up, the urine seeped into the seams of our sectional as well as the cloth section towards the back (which is black)The technician who came out to our home dismissed the damage before even inspecting it closelyHe was 4-feet away from our sectional when he said he couldn't clean anything on leather or the cloth portion in the back, then suggested we get rid of the cat or purchase a "shock mat"The moisture created a light stain on the leather and ruined the cloth section towards the back of the pieceWe would like this to be replacedWhen purchasing the plan, were told that if a stain could not be cleaned or removed we would receive a replacement pieceThis was not the case

The warranty rep visually inspected the couch and agreed there was damage that needed to be repaired and was covered by the extended warranty we purchasedA few days later the company sent a letter saying there were only scratches and they were not coveredThere were cuts in the leather, not scratches and the rep inspected and pointed these outWhat changed from the inspection to the letter? Jordan's furniture sold the extended policy

I have been trying to use my warranty since buying my couch from Macy's in May and have been unable to use it as the warranty suggests
CXXXXXXX is my claim number for cleaning my couchI had an appointment setup with All furniture Cleaning (XXX-XXX-XXXX) for Saturday July 9th from a.mto p.mand on 7/8/it was cancelled with a phone call and only to be rescheduled on a later date The times and dates do not work for meThis warranty is difficult to use and I want a refund for $150, and I do not want it in Macy's dollars or credit because you cannot use this for any purchases and makes it difficult to useI want Macy's to return the money to me via credit card or Uniters

I purchased this Sofa/Sectional on 8/23/2012! The Salesperson Tammy *** Sold me on the Warranty because it covers everything!(Rips,Tears,Damage from Pets, Stains,Burns,ETC! I filed a claim on 6/12/for Rips and Tears! They say I'm not covered in the seating areas whereas on my contract it states the following: Cracking or Peeling of Top Grain Leather in the Seating Areas!

My children spilled their juices on my sofas, they also went to the patio and got into some paint used to stain my fence and by accident left some paint stains on my sofas My brochure clearly states pure promise covers all accidental stains for food & beverage and paint & dye They just look at the pictures and decided to call me a liar by saying it was general soiling and closed the claim I don't expect them to clean my regular wear and tear, but I do expect them to honor their coverage on a warranty I paid for
I sent an email requesting a manager to contact me Never heard back, so I had to look up here their contact info The brochure and paperwork has no phn's, that should be a hint of this kind of business entity I just got off the phone and was told they don't handle disputes over the phone and that of course I will have to send another email to the disputes department Sounds already like it's going to be a pain to do business with Uniters I'm not worry about the claim because if they fail to honor it, I'm sure it will be pretty easy with a technician to proof in court that the stains in question were caused by paint and beverages Just hate to do business with companies like this one! Already know I will never do business with them again!

Back on 8/26/I filed a claims for my swivel chair and a case for a pillow on my sectionalI received an email stating my items were going to be replaced and it would take 8-weeksabout a month after that, I received another email stating they were giving me a cash settlement for my chair and still replacing the pillowcaseafter about five months went by I still never received my items, so I sent a message to their warranty department asking where my items were and they told me it was going to take another 8-weeks to receiveI left another comment that was opened on February and no one ever respondedI also filed another claim on 11/4/for two casings to the couch cushions on my sectionalAgain I sent email after email questioning where my items were because it's been over three months and still no one has yet to respond to me on this claim

Call the resolution specialist before filing a complaint I went to the Revdex.com page for United to file a complaint and wasn't too surprised to see other (similar) complaints considering the run around I was given for the repair of my leather sectional I called the number on the banner of their page to speak to a resolution specialist and spoke with *** She listened to me and said she would honor my claim Within the week the technician came out and did a beautiful job on my repair

They are refusing to honor their warranty services that I purchased
I purchased an outdoor table and chairs set from *** I purchased the additional "Worry No More" warranty service as well The sent a technician out to try to fix the finish cracking off and table slats lifting The technician told us the set would have to be replaced We then got notification that it was not covered due to "an act of god"
1.) We had a similar issue that was repaired last year with no hassle
2.) It's an outdoor table set, its suppose to be outside
3.) The damage is not from "an act of god"
I spoke with customer service agents (*** and her claimed supervisor *** both were rude on the phone and unwilling to help whatsoever
