We are not being serviced and were insultedThe service reps are extremely rudeWe paid for a service they are not providing
We purchased fabric protection on furnitureWe filed a claim with a service repThe claim required us to send photos which I didThe turn around time was - hoursAfter hours, my husband called to check the status since it had not been updatedThe rep was extremely rude and disrespectfulShe called him a Ms several timesShe told him neither him or I could follow simple directions, she hung up on him to which he responded by call back furiousThe next service rep told him the claim was denied because there was seam separationI am not disputing that there is seam separationHowever, there are also tears that were not caused by any fault of oursThat is what we purchased this coverage forToday I got an emailThey "regret to inform" that the claim was denied because of the seam separationNothing on the tears or stains which were also inc
Unitersna refuses to respect warranty claim
-On July 16, we have filled a claim ( Claim #CXXXXXXX) with Unitersna in regards to some of a furniture purchased in Value City Furniture on 10/02/(Invoice XXX-XXXXX) The claim was in regards to the following:
Ottoman- had a few stains
Dining room set: table-peaces of wood are chipping off where it is clearly visible, chairs-some of the chairs have a structural failures- when you seat on some of the chairs you sinc in the cushionEven though this is not so obviously visible, when you seat on other good chairs one can clearly tell the difference
As a part of the sale, furniture came with a year Pure Promise warranty that should cover any accidental stain, damage, structure protection
-On July 29, a technician came out to look at the furnitureSince my husband and I work during week, there was a prior agreement with a technician that he would call minutes before his arrival, however, without a call, he ju
I purchased a warranty and have filed a claim three times with them, they all have been denied in some cases without a reason given
The first time I filed a complaint was on Jan 2017, I took pictures of the cracking sofa covered under the warranty, but only took pics of the seating cushion since it was the most cracked partThey denied the claim because the type of leather in the cushion is not covered under that warranty
I refiled on Jan sending the pictures of a cracked piece of the couch that is not the seating cushionThey just denied it, without even saying whyI tried to ask them a reason and no one got back to me
I refiled on Feb 14th, the denied saying that since the damage was first noticed on Dec 31, 2016, the days to file a claim had passed
At that moment I decided, they are just there to deny any claim by any excuse and hope people get tired and give up
I will not allow them to jerk me around anymore, they had their chance to honor their policy
I
My children spilled their juices on my sofas, they also went to the patio and got into some paint used to stain my fence and by accident left some paint stains on my sofas My brochure clearly states pure promise covers all accidental stains for food & beverage and paint & dye They just look at the pictures and decided to call me a liar by saying it was general soiling and closed the claim I don't expect them to clean my regular wear and tear, but I do expect them to honor their coverage on a warranty I paid for
I sent an email requesting a manager to contact me Never heard back, so I had to look up here their contact info The brochure and paperwork has no phn's, that should be a hint of this kind of business entity I just got off the phone and was told they don't handle disputes over the phone and that of course I will have to send another email to the disputes department Sounds already like it's going to be a pain to do business with Uniters I'm not worry about the claim because if they fail to honor it, I'm sure it will be pretty easy with a technician to proof in court that the stains in question were caused by paint and beverages Just hate to do business with companies like this one! Already know I will never do business with them again!
We purchased a WorryNoMore plan from Macy's with the purchase of our leather sectionalThis plan was to cover accidents...Uniters did not honor this
Our cat peed on our couch and though we were able to wipe most of it up, the urine seeped into the seams of our sectional as well as the cloth section towards the back (which is black)The technician who came out to our home dismissed the damage before even inspecting it closelyHe was 4-feet away from our sectional when he said he couldn't clean anything on leather or the cloth portion in the back, then suggested we get rid of the cat or purchase a "shock mat"The moisture created a light stain on the leather and ruined the cloth section towards the back of the pieceWe would like this to be replacedWhen purchasing the plan, were told that if a stain could not be cleaned or removed we would receive a replacement pieceThis was not the case

Filed a claim and now they want us to wait days after trying SOS *** ???? This is unacceptable as we paid good money for this warranty If necessary will escalate
warranty not being honored after rep said it was covered
The warranty rep visually inspected the couch and agreed there was damage that needed to be repaired and was covered by the extended warranty we purchasedA few days later the company sent a letter saying there were only scratches and they were not coveredThere were cuts in the leather, not scratches and the rep inspected and pointed these outWhat changed from the inspection to the letter? Jordan's furniture sold the extended policy
This company is a ***They will not service my warranty that I bought from macys
My macys order # MEXXXXXXXXXX
I bought a $sofa set from macys back in June the sales rep at macys convinced me to buy an extended warranty which cost me more than $Not it is about years later and I need to get service for my couchI contacted the warranty company which I original thought was macysIt turned out to be Uniters North America, LLC which I never heard ofIf you google their name, you will see that it is clearly a *** company
Anyways I spoke with some rep who was basically interrogating meHe asked me a million questionsthen he put me on holdAfter a minute hold he came back and said that they will not provide me serviceHis reason was because I found out about the damage about a month agoHe said that the fact that I inform them within hours the warranty was voidWTFI paid $for a warranty and now they wont give me service
Apparently, this is how
I have been trying to use my warranty since buying my couch from Macy's in May and have been unable to use it as the warranty suggests
CXXXXXXX is my claim number for cleaning my couchI had an appointment setup with All furniture Cleaning (XXX-XXX-XXXX) for Saturday July 9th from a.mto p.mand on 7/8/it was cancelled with a phone call and only to be rescheduled on a later date The times and dates do not work for meThis warranty is difficult to use and I want a refund for $150, and I do not want it in Macy's dollars or credit because you cannot use this for any purchases and makes it difficult to useI want Macy's to return the money to me via credit card or Uniters
The Company says my claim for rips and tears on my Sofa is not covered! Although it states it is covered on my contract!
I purchased this Sofa/Sectional on 8/23/2012! The Salesperson Tammy *** Sold me on the Warranty because it covers everything!(Rips,Tears,Damage from Pets, Stains,Burns,ETC! I filed a claim on 6/12/for Rips and Tears! They say I'm not covered in the seating areas whereas on my contract it states the following: Cracking or Peeling of Top Grain Leather in the Seating Areas!
This is a total misrepresentation of the Warranty
I ca provide you with a copy of the warranty if you need it!
warranty claimed denied wrongfully.Refused to review claim even after their own technician qualified and furniture still in warranty period
Furniture bought in October with years warranty
original claim on tear on seat made in October (CXXXXXXX)denied wrongfully as "wear" without proper reviewattempted to email photos and pointing out that location where tear is at would not be wearDENIED as if denial came first and reasoning worked out laterNo technician sent down to evaluate claim
attempted to reopen claim didn't go anywhere
fast forward June - we had another claim on another piece of furniture - for which a technician came fore evaluationWe showed him this claim in disputeTheir own technician agreed that claim was denied wrongfully
At that point attempted to reach uniter on phone and was turned down by customer service calling it old claim (hello, the furniture is still under warranty and old claim is wrongfully denied)another phone attempt,
Uniters North America LLC, will not honor their year warranty that I purchased on a furniture setSaying that my problems are wear and tear
Claim Date: March 14,
Purchase Date: September 27,
Purchase warranty on Twilight Black Furniture: 9/27/from Just Cabinets Furniture
Warranty Certificate: UNIXXXXXX
Warranty Type: Combo
Sofa:
The following problems on furniture, sofa (recliner) and loveseat (recliner on both seats.)
On the sofa there are rips on the seams
On the one end of sofa recliner the foam footrest came completely out
On the end of the other sofa recliner the board of the footrest is coming loose and dangling
And on the sofa there are rips in between the seats, the back of the sofa will not lock in place
They are saying that the rips on seam and the foam out from the footrest falls into the category of wear and tear, but as stated on the warranty, the definition of wear and tear is "wear and tear to fabrics and leathers
I purchased Uniters warranty through Rooms for less that assured me they will cover almost anything and replace damaged furniture if any accidental occurrence should occur that they cannot fixI had the warranty for two years nowI did not need to use them until about a month ago when I accidentally burned a hole in the couch when ironingNow I understand this may not have been the smartest move but two towels down and the fabric that I was ironing and neither towels or fabric burned during my ironing process so of course I wouldn't know the couch was burningWhen I was done I took the towels off the couch and there I saw the burn in the couchAll in all, I accidentally burned a hole in which my warranty claims they coverAfter a month of going back and forth with this company about the status of my claim they decided to deny the claim saying they believe there was neglect or misuse involvedOkay, so no proof on their partThey just based on their opinion? I think that is considered FraudulentWhen someone pays for warranty that product or furniture is suppose to be coveredSo, basically if I'm smoking a cigarette on my couch and accidentally drop it and burn my couch they would consider that neglect tooBasically, they are telling me they don't agree as to what I do in my own home which in my opinion is none of their business nor is it stated on the warranty that the damage needs to be done in a certain way by their standards in order to be coveredWell, then I guess they don't understand the meaning of accidents and they are advertisingI will definitely dispute this matterBeware they are a scam and in it for the money
Purchased a Micro Fiber plan at my Furniture storeAll they gave me was their warranty info & words, so that is what I read & agreed tooCalled this company lately, and they cover "***." Kids do damage (coloring, painting, food, ect) and they really don't cover any of that! You can't always watch them to be precise on what they split or are playing
I find it ridiculous that the company's warranty contradicts itselfHere's one instance, plan "Covers" jean dye transfer to fabric, but then in the "Not Covered" section it does not cover dye Loopholes for everything!
Speaking with a representative was difficult too! Hardly spoke English so we debated on a word for 5mins, handed the phone off and my spouse couldn't even understandThe man kept trying to speak over me (interrupting) but that would not help me understand the words that were coming out of his mouth
This company promises a warranty that covers furniture and then finds loopholes to circumvent honoring their warranty
My husband and I purchased a couch and ottoman from Value City Furniture 2/At our salespersons encouragement we added the Pure Promise protection plan/warranty through UnitersThe salesperson promised that it would cover scratches and tears to the leather, which was our biggest concernFast forward months, we have a housewarming party and the next day notice several tears, rips and scratches to the leatherAfter jumping through hoops with this furniture company and waiting over months, we find out that our claim was denied because it does not cover "scratches" to the leatherI filed a a dispute as instructed to do and folled up days later to see the status of the claimI was told by the customer service rep that the dispute was reviewed and was denied because it does not cover scratches to the leatherIt was explained to me for the first time in my
Call the resolution specialist before filing a complaint I went to the Revdex.com page for United to file a complaint and wasn't too surprised to see other (similar) complaints considering the run around I was given for the repair of my leather sectional I called the number on the banner of their page to speak to a resolution specialist and spoke with *** She listened to me and said she would honor my claim Within the week the technician came out and did a beautiful job on my repair
Poor customer service and not honoring warranty
As far as my issue, I have opened claims with Uniters, and each time has been a nightmareFrom the reviews online, it looks like I am not alone
the first claim (cXXXXXXX) I submitted back in was for my couch and for my ottomanthe couch had the plastic coming out of the casing and my ottoman's leather binding was coming apartgetting someone to come out took forever, then when they came out to confirm what I claimed, it took forever for the replacement cushion to be deliveredthen, when it finally arrived, it was the wrong sizei called to report this immediately, and got the runaroundi was asked to send pictures and I didfollowed up a few more times and said forget ittoo much of a hassleFor my ottoman, they issued a replacementproblem is this is no longer made, and the dollars I was credited would not purchase anything comparable so I kept itso after all of that, my ottoman still was coming apart and my
Uniters is jokeI wish Jcpenny and Macys stop doing business with them because of Uniters these stores are losing their customersUniters customer services SUCKS!!
They are refusing to honor their warranty services that I purchased
I purchased an outdoor table and chairs set from *** I purchased the additional "Worry No More" warranty service as well The sent a technician out to try to fix the finish cracking off and table slats lifting The technician told us the set would have to be replaced We then got notification that it was not covered due to "an act of god"
1.) We had a similar issue that was repaired last year with no hassle
2.) It's an outdoor table set, its suppose to be outside
3.) The damage is not from "an act of god"
I spoke with customer service agents (*** and her claimed supervisor *** both were rude on the phone and unwilling to help whatsoever
This warranty is a scam They do not stand by what they sold me
This is the WORST company ever! Don't waste your time on themAfter my husband and I got married, we went to Rooms To Go and bought a nice fabric sofa setAfter having a baby, the couch was stained with formula, vomit and etcI filed right away that I need it cleanBy the time someone came out here, btw his name is *** who came out, it took them over a week, and the couch was stained more and moreIn their policy it states that they don't clean it if its an accident or its an accumulation of stainsBUT I told them in my claim what is in the stains and how old they are, so obviously by the time they came out, there was a few new stains but they weren't MONTHS OLD!!! ***, the fat i
t came out, and was on his phone the entire timeHe was rude and didn't answer our questions, after briefly looking at the couch, he said, "ehhh, there's not much I can doI'll just report back what I see." AND LEFTWe were really confused but thought okay maybe that's how it is with them.....After a few days, we got a letter stating that the insurance will not cover anything and that we need to pay for a new couchWe were *** offI called *** and had a huge heated argument with himI told him why he did that what he did, and he said he has nothing to do with thatHe said that our couch was really stained,it's an accumulation and that there's nothing he can doHis tools weren't strong enoughI told him that these stains were fresh and he needs to do his job, of course that conversation came no whereSAVE YOURSELF TIME FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANYI rented a Bissell Deep cleaner from Lowes and my couch was shining within the next day
