I bought a sofa with motorized recliners and purchased a warranty to specifically repair any broken or nonworking mechanical issues as related to the motorized reclinersWhen one motor broke I tried to get the company to fix my sofa motor when one side broke which was outside their window of when it needed to be reported, which is fineI understand we missed the window and in the fine print that makes it ineligible for repairHowever, when the other side broke and was reported within the required window of time they refused to fix it because their first phone agent didn't record which side broke which they side since they cannot verify they'll fix neitherWe asked to speak to a CS manager but no one picked up and we left a message which said that someone will return our call within hoursIt's been weeks and no one has attempted to reach usThis leads me to believe that will return to saying that it was somehow not eligible because of their time window which then would take t
I purchased a 7-year extended warranty on a sofa purchase thru UnitersUniters denied my claim improperly, as the damage was included in my warranty
In 2012, I purchased an extended year warranty on my sofa that covered all accidental stains, rips, tears or burns, cracking or peeling of top grain leatherI submitted my first claim on 7/21/16, due to a rip that happened in our leather sofaWhen the rip occurred (on 7/21), it ended up causing a chain reaction of peeling of the leather (which covered a large area)I took several pictures, and did my best to submit the claim on the Uniters website, which was extremely difficult to navigate throughI noted in my claim that I may not have selected the right coverage areas, but for them to contact me with any questions or additional details about my claim The website promised that my claim would be reviewed within two business daysIt was notI checked the status several times, and was not informed of the status until July 28,
My husband and I purchased a couch from a Macy's Furniture Store At the time, we purchased a year warranty One of the recliner chairs stopped working (wouldn't recline and would not retract) We called the warranty department who initially told us that we did not even purchase the warranty We had never seen a copy of the warranty and only had a receipt for the purchase of the couch A week or so later, they called back and told us they had made an error and, indeed, we had the year warranty Then, they had a technician come out and repair the chair on 09/04/ It was never fixed - worked a few times and then stopped altogether the next day Due to having a newborn (only a week old at the time) and extensive family in town, we did not get around to calling the warranty department again
When we did call on Monday, 01/08/2018, the warranty department told us that, because it was the same chair that was broken, we had to notify them within days, per the warranty The problem is we never received a copy of the warranty at checkout Neither did the technician who "fixed" the couch tell us we needed to report that his repair did not work within days We asked Macy's to send us a copy of the warranty via e-mail As it turns out, the e-mail address the warranty department had on file was not right for my husband I am guessing this is why we never received the warranty information in the first placeThey said they would correct the e-mail address and send us a copy of the warranty
Despite saying they would e-mail us the warranty at the correct e-mail address, we still never got it So, we called back again on 01/11/and talked to a different person in the warranty department - *** She gave us the same run around and referred us to the local Macy's in Mission Valley, saying it was the local store's problem for not providing us with the warranty She also corrected the e-mail address, which remained uncorrected from the last call, and sent us a copy of the warranty
When we called the local Macy's, they said this is "not right" and told us we should hear something from her within hours She was going to call the warranty department, escalate the matter to management, and get back to us Macy's called us back on 01/16/and told us that, per the warranty, there was a day window in which we needed to contact them in case the technician did not repair the product Notice, the warranty department is now claiming it is days and not days, as they told us on 01/08/ To make matters worse, I have a copy of the warranty now and it says nothing about days or days In fact, the warranty says nothing which the warranty department is claiming This is outrageous This is clearly unethical and unlawful
To say I am upset about this is an understatement We paid money for the warranty, you never gave us a copy of the warranty, and now that I have read the warranty, it says nothing that you are claiming I am an attorney here in California and am now concerned about how many other customers you have done this to Clearly is a lot with Revdex.com negative reviews and complaints Obviously I am not the only one this warranty department is trying to pull a fast one I will be sending a demand letter to your company and will not stop escalating this matter until you fix this
Sold me a warranty that covers NOTHING!!! what a joke and unprofessional company, total scam NEVER PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM THESE JOKERS!! Just needed a couple stains removed and because I did not notice and report within 15days they would not cover or even come out and look at it
Uniters failing to repair furniture covered by warranty that was purchased
I purchased a piece leather sectional and matching ottoman from American Signature in Nashville, TN in late and it was delivered in early The salesperson highly recommended purchasing a protection plan, which would cover accidental damage to the furniture for years from the delivery dateThe furniture was a large purchase for me, and something I wanted to protect, so I also purchased the warrantyThe warranty plainly states that rips and tears are covered I paid $for the sectional, $for the ottoman, and $for the warranty On April 26, 2016, while working on a crafts project for my newborn baby, the sectional and ottoman sustained some ripsDue to the nature of the crafts project, it was not until I lifted it off the furniture that I realized any rips had been madeThe same day, I reported this to Uniters, who provided the warranty service They indicated the furniture wou
Everyone of our couch cushions have come apart at the seams and have ripped and the frame is damaged and literally collapses when someone sits down
My claims have been denied because its considered "wear and tear" yet my couch is only year oldHow can a couch literally be unusable at year old and that be wear and tear? I have the paperwork that specifically says rips and tears on fabric are covered as well as frame damageThis company is a scamming customers out of their hard earned money and making promises in writing to customers who have bought their warranty
We also dont have a support bar on the long part of the couch which is why the frame collapsed but the short part of the couch has a support bar
A clip is missing that holds the couch cushion in place
We did not receive all pillows that come with the couch when we purchased it
Where the couch frame comes together the padding of the couch is showing through
They are saying that the
purchased the worrynomore package when I purchased my couch from Macy'sI put in a claim and have received horrible customer service!! I have left phone calls and emails with no responseThey finally sent a tech out to my homethe tech stated he could not repair my couch and would send in a claim form for the repairsI have heard nothing from worrynomore regarding this matterI am very frustrated and I truly DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING WORRYNOMORE
All I want is what I paid for is a warranty that covers and keeps my furniture protected
I want the cushion replaced!!
you will be wasting your MONEY!!
I have a loveseat + a couch that I purchased w/a 7yrwarrantyIt covers accidents
The loveseat and couch are rarely used I keep them clean and use leather cleaner on them My small niece and nephew was over and used keys to put holes and rips into the loveseat Accidents are covered The technician who came out was in a rush but he stated that they would repair the loveseat but they may have to replace it I had several questions and we talked and I walked him out of the building Well they denied the claim stating that the loveseat was not properly cared for The couch is still in perfect condition that is right next to the loveseat so that is absurd I see online they deny all claims first This should be against the law I think they are counting on people to drop their claims since you have to provide the original receipt, the warranty, and take pictures Some stores don't have the original receipts I purchased my furniture in 2014, My claim numbers are CXXXXXXX
Paid for WorryNoMore Insurance contract for a rug purchased at Macy's Rug got stained and we claimed insurance After many attempts no resolution
Purchased rug protection plan for rug purchased at Macy'sRug got stainedCalled WorryNoMore They sent a service technician who couldn't remove the stain Contract says they will replace with a similar product if possible or reimburse They tried to send another service technician, who I told to call the other guy who already tried to clean it I called Macy's to deal with the issue Macy's told me that it was resolved and we will get a store credit No credit arrivedCalled WorryNoMore and they said the claim was closed because they sent a cleaner that was cancelled and that they didn't get some paperwork from macy's Called WorryNoMore twice and they said a manager would return my call but never did We want credit for the price of the rug, since it was a one of a kind rug and cannot be replaced
On October 15, I filed a claim with Uniters online After some time a representative came to my home on (or around) November 8, to assess the problem, and it was at that time that the Uniters Service Technician informed me that he submitted an order for the supplies required to repair our furniture He informed me that the items would come to my home and he would be notified when they arrived, and then he would call me to schedule a time and complete the work
I waited patiently for the items to arrive through the Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays, but nothing came and no one called or emailed There was no follat all
On Tuesday, January 9th I called and talked to a representative at Uniters NA, who reported that she saw the repair technician's report and could see there was no follow up She also expressed concern that the items to repair my furniture had not been ordered She kindly stated that she was referring my claim to a supervisor who would contact me within hours to resolve the problem, and yet I still received no call The representative explained that the service technician did not order the equipment to repair my furniture, but the supervisor would take care of it, and in fact make the repair a priority Still no one called within hours
I called today, January 12th, and (again) reported that my furniture has not been repaired, despite going through every process correctly and being told that items were ordered and my furniture would be repaired I was told by your customer service representative that a supervisor would contact me within hours by email or by phone
Tonight, after close of business (on a Friday), I received an email to report that my claim was deniedwait...WHAT (utter confusion on my part)!!!?!! Again, since it is a Friday and now the weekend I cannot speak to a person regarding the problem with this claim being reported as NOT COVERED I did everything that I was supposed to do to report my furniture problem and then have it repaired, yet my claim was denied It was not listed as denied on the website, but it was listed as "completed" I must reiterate that it was not listed as denied it was listed as "completed" so WHY all of a sudden did the company change it to denied?
Also, the email reporated to review the attachment as to why my claim was denied, but ther was no attachment to explain (nothing)
I really need someone who can help me get my furniture repaired I paid for the warranty service and I followed all of the steps to request a repair, and I was told that my furniture would be repairedIt was not my error that your service technician failed to enter the correct paperwork and it is not my error that your technicians and customer service representatives failed to follow up with me as promised when they visited my home and when I called them and talked on the phone
I will not recommend this company to anyone, in fact they completely lied to me each time I talked to them I trusted that the service technician that came to my home would do what he said and there was no follow up with that either I am extremely disappointed as the furniture purchase was a large purchase for my husband and I who work very hard for our money We have a special needs child, I am a teacher and and my wife is an administrative assistant We purchased the Warranty from Value City on good faith that they would do what the warranty said and they have not
Uniters refused to honor warranty
Dear To whom it may concerns:
This letter is to complain about warranty service I recently received from WorrynomoreThe reference numbers for my claims (sales check #) are MEXXXXXXXXXX and MEXXXXXXXXXXPlease also refer to proof of purchase document I enclosed with this letter for detailI purchased several furniture items from Macys in and purchased Worrynomore protection plans for all the itemsAll items were purchased on the same day and were delivered on the same day
Last year (June 2015), I called Worrynomore customer service to file claims on the king bed (paint issue) and a bench (stain on the fabric)To my great surprise, the representative told me that she can not find my information in the system and therefore I did not purchase the protection planI gave her my name, address, phone number and sale check numberShe told me that she would do some research and call me back in 2-business day because she thought my information
Company, as the underwriter to Macy's Worrynomore warranty plan, failed to honor the conditions of the warranty

My wife and I purchased Leather couches from Macy's but were concerned by the fact we had small children Macy's sold us a worrynomore protection plan that included full protection of the couches, which specifically includes "Ballpoint Pen Ink" and "Rips, Tears, Punctures" with no exceptionsThe couches were damaged by damage covered by the warranty, and Uniters was notified of these damages pursuant to their claim procedures; receipts for the warranty purchased were provided Uniters sent an inspector and ultimately denied the claim
Macy's warranty clearly covers the damage which Uniters is not covering Uniters appears to be engaging in practices to discourage valid claims as a way to avoid having to honor its obligations

I called and was denied a claim that the warranty indicates will be coveredI accidentally burned my sectional on 2/7/
On 2/13/I called to report an accidental burn I caused to my sectional on 2/7/I explained that I was working with fire and I accidentally caused a burn to my chaiseThe women on the phone denied my claim and said it was due to the fact that any damage caused by "the home" is not coveredI was referred to my homeowners insuranceI questioned the denial and was given the example of when a home floodsI was explained that if my "home" floods the warranty does not cover damage to the sectionalI explained again that my "house" did NOT cause the damage to the sectional, I PERSONALLY caused the burn which is why nothing needed to be reported to my homeowners insuranceI further explained that the warranty clearly states that accidental burns are covered, she refused to help and kept repeating that my "home" had caused the burn, which is not trueI asked to
These guys are an absolute JOKE! DO NOT get a warranty with themWe have a couch we bought through Macy's and the warranty clearly states which repairs are covered Guess what, they sent a letter stating that they denied it I will be getting formal complaint together with the Revdex.com with all of our information and highlight the parts where the warranty specifically covers the couch and the letter they sent in denial

service account - ME XXXXXXXXXX
purchase data - June 22,
delivered - Nov 3,
I filed a complaint claim:CXXXXXXX, complaining I see scratch on my couchThe service guy immediately rejected my claim saying we do not do service scratchesWhen asking her to explain the difference is between a scratch and a tear (which is coverred), she said as long as it is not surface it is a tear. Then I corrected to her saying it is not something on the surface, so qualifies as tearShe by then had rejected my claimOn repeated calling,I was asked to sent pictures, but now they are saying the claim is close, we cannot do anythingNow, that it looks like a ***, I requested a pro-rated warranty (7yrs), they promised to send me a number, but that did not happenAlready had calls of which was disconnected by the CSR
Predatory advertising and sales practice where accounts are solicited through retailers and warranty/repair claims are strictly rejected without basis
I paid $for a year protection/warranty and coverage plan on a sofa purchases through Macy's I observed minor damage to the sofa this weekend and called Worrynomore to file a claim and arrange for a representative to come view/assess the issue/damage In a matter of a few minutes with no conclusive evidence or support, Worrynomore indicated that they are unable to further process or research the issue/claim I feel this is a total scam and am sure I am not the first Please help!
Warranty not being honored despite multiple attempts without giving detailed data and evidence of reasoning why
I purchased a bedroom set from *** on 5/29/and paid for the Pure Promise Warranty which apparently is only for years (saleperson-Mark *** told me that the plan would cover my furniture items for a lifetime)All was well until earlier this year when the top drawer of my chest would not close properlyI informed the warranty company within the specified time periodA technician was sent and said that he did not have either the tools or the equipment to repair the drawer and that he would be back again once he spoke to his company and the warranty companyI attempted to schedule a time with this individual and was unable to do so because the company could not give me an exact time until hours prior and my job does not allow for me to just take off work for things of this natureIn addition, they were unable to ever give me a date if it was more
Uniter's failure to honor warranty agreement for the repair or replacement of sectional leather sofa purchased from American Signature Furniture
I purchased a leather sectional from American Signature Furniture and a warranty agreement from Uniter's North America in August of In March of the leather began to peel terribly in large portions 4-inches wide on all sections of the sectional sofaOn March 11, I submitted a claim to Uniter'sWithin approximately 4-weeks a technician reviewed the damage for approximately minutes, took a few photos and stated it could not be repaired and would need replacementOn 4/28/I received notification from Uniter's stating that the claim was denied based on assertion that the damages were caused by "neglect, misuse or abuse, violence, vandalism, alteration or lack of maintenance." None of the stated instances were accurate and peeling is specifically listed in the warranty agreement so I proceeded to submit a dispute on 5/13/
