So things are already not starting out well with this companyI don't know how they even stay in businessMacy's, JCPenney and whatever other companies use them should be notified by every person who sends in a complaint here so that they will stop using them as their warranty provider I bought a recliner from JCP as well as a warrantyOn the order page it shows that the warranty papers were mailed on 3/when I had not received them by mid april I call JCP and was told that they were being mailed at the end of April I still don't have them so I call JCP againThis time the employee called Uniters to find out if they could mail another oneThey said they have no record that I have a warrantySo if that's the case why does it show on JCP order page that it was mailed and the JCP employee I spoke to today said it actually shows in that it was deliveredHow is that possible when Uniters doesnt' even have my infoNow the employee at JCP has to figure out how to get a copy of my invoice showing I purchased the plan over to UnitersFrom the complaints I've read on here it sounds like the warranty is pretty much useless anyways since most claims are denied

When we purchased this warranty we had misgivings but have since found that the money spent was well worth itThere were several steps to using the warranty but the customer service throughout the process was exemplaryWe were kept informed along the way and the ball was never droppedThese people know how to take care of business!

This is a complete scam of a company, my wife and I purchased a very expensive leather sectional from Macy's and bought the most extensive warranty for it, through this company, UnitersWhen we attempted to use the coverage, for damage that was clearly covered by the warranty plan, they refused to cover itThis is a scam operation and we will seek a refund for the very expensive plan we paid forDo not fall for this, I am surprised Macy's would use such a company with zero integrity, we will certainly never buy another piece of furniture from Macy's, as long as they are affiliated with this fraudulent company, Uniters

couch has tears in leather caused by failed supports under leather.company claims caused by petno teeth or claw marks.tears same place opposite side
we purchased our leather sectional motorized couch on sale from *** for $on 3/21/from clerk XXXXXXXXwe owned the couch for roughly 2-1/2yrs when the leather on one of the footrests split in the same spot on both sidesI had a furniture tech in my house for another issue we had with a different footrest that had stopped workinghe looked at the torn footrest and showed me where the supports under the leather chair had failedthose failed supports were causing an intolerable stress to the footrest leather which is why it tore

United's North America provided me with great customer serviceI had a problem with my recliner, that was under warrantyThe process from getting a person out and taking care of my problem was literally daysThe process was simple and the serviceman was very courteous

Contacted WNM regarding an accidentally stained mattress covered by the plan, and was told the claim would not be covered despite the plan details
Most recently, on May 5, 2017, I spoke with a representative (Mary F.) and indicated that I wanted to file a claim After explaining that my mattress was damaged from water that leaked from the ceiling, she indicated that this would not be covered
From the beginning she indicated that I had to be responsible for the accident According to Mary, since the ceiling leaking was not an accident that I caused, it wouldn't be covered This, of course, is not expressed in the description of the plan I asked her to show me in the plan details where it specifically stated this; after reviewing the plan, she was unable to do so and transferred me to a supervisor (Shenoah)Mary's explanation of why my claim would not be covered was inaccurate
I explained to the supervisor that by definition, the damage to the mattress was caused by a

The company failed to make promised repairs and failed to reply for request to cover new problems
I first contacted the company on or about October of (I pretty sure it was but may have been 13) regarding my couch stains and damage covered under the warrantyA man came out and cleaned the couch, removing the stains (wine and pet and pet stains), telling my other half the company would order the replacement cover for my chaise
I received a few calls from the company stating they were working on itI assumed they were continuing to work on it (and after attempting to also find a cover figured it was going to take a while)
Since we'd received at least two calls regarding this issue, I waited and about a year later contacted them again, only to have them tell me they closed my complaint
I then called Macy's who for their part stated they didn't know what else to do and offered me some assistance in the form of contacting the insurance company for Worry No MoreI received

I find the products from this very useful and very helpful I find the warranties to be very flexible It's literally a one page policyThe people who file a complaint have only themselves to blame for making due diligence to research what is covered and what is not Why would you trust a sales rep? Isn't it there job to SELL you? The other thing is if you purchased a warranty from let say value city, isn't it value cities warranty? Where do you see on the paper Uniters warranty? I have had no problems with them and will continue to keep using their products

Warranty that was purchased was not advertised as listedNothing is covered under the warranty I paid for thought this company
Purchased a sectional with a warranty from this company, through value city furnitureI have attempted to make claims thus farEach time it has take over minutes on the phone to find out that nothing is "covered"It was advertised that this warranty would cover pretty much anything

Uniters refuses to honor our claim for damage on our leather coffee table because they believe we are not covered for the damage Not true
On January 24th, 2010, we purchased a round leather coffee table (model # XXX-XXX, reciept number XXXXXXXX) from Macy's We purchased a warranty service called Worry No More which is currently being serviced by Uniters North America On April 4th, 2016, we filed a claim (claim # CXXXXXXX) with Uniters because we had a tear that occurred on the leather table which we noticed after a friend accidentally rubbed his shoe on the table and caused a tear a few days prior We believed that the warranty should cover this repair A technician did come to our house and stated that the damage was cracking/peeling He filed this report with Uniters Inc and they came back to us and stated that cracking/peeling is not covered We sent an a dispute with pictures and a repeat that this damage was not cracking/peeling but a tear They sent a follow up lette

Lack of full disclosure practices within store location as well as over the phoneWas never informed of time limit to a year warranty
On 1/25/15, I purchased a power recliner from Value City Furniture for as well as the "Pure Promise"warranty which cost me an additional 129.99, which at the time sounded like a good investment especially since the recliner I purchased included Bluetooth capability, a power plug and USB ports with in the reclinerBeing extremely concerned about my own personal electronics, I repeatedly inquired of my salesman what type of warranty / protection was availableMy salesman was very helpful especially when he realized that my intentions were to purchase the recliner that very dayBeing able to play my own music through my own recliner sealed the deal for me and I was extremely excited, but more so cautious about my future with this recliner especially with all that could go very wrong with the electrical elements of this reclinerWhat is biz

We were enrolled in the Uniter's Pure Fabric Protection Seven (7) Year Limited Warranty upon our purchase of a leather sectional sofa from American Signature Furniture on 9/12/ We received the Uniter's Pure Fabric Protection Seven (7) Year Limited Warranty brochure with purchase in which it states without limitation that the Warranty Coverage Includes Rips, Tears, and Burns
We have sustained multiple rips and tears on our couch due to the poor quality of the productWe had also purchased another much cheaper leather couch from Ikea at the same time, and that couch is in excellent condition
Our claim filed in July was denied on August 9th because we were advised that our couch was non-top grain leather and that the warranty does not cover damage to this material in seating areasWe contested the denial on August 15th based on the following:
There was no indication that non-top grain

Purchased warrantyMisleadinto thinking I never purchased the warrantyWhen I provided original receipt, they voided they warranty
Original claim process started March Original receipt was misplacedAmerican signature provided me with a "screen captured" receiptThe "screen capture" did not provide enough information for Uniters to process my warranty, although it did show the warranty purchase, the receipt didn't show an amount*** signature future confirmed I did purchase a warranty (way call to Uniters) by stating that the total amount of the sale shows 1,(couch + warranty + delievery + taxes -deposit= 1203.76), uniters stated that no document show the purchase I followed up with a supervisor who said I was "lying" or "very mistaken"I dropped the process due to frustrationOne day later after being denied, I received a call from a Tech to repair my couchI explained the process to the tech and let him know he was s

Not honoring a warranty issue
today I called about a electric fire place order that quit producing heat and the lady could not find my warranty that we done years ago then put me on hold to tell me that the warranty that I purchased online was not thru them and that they will not be fixing my fireplacei kept telling her that it was thru you and that I purchased a warranty thru you and I kept reading her off the email and she put me on holdthen came back to tell me that they don't sell extended warranty online and that it was not them that I purchased it thruthen she finally started digging and found my warranty after multiple times of telling me they don't have itthen she started asking me a few questions then asked me when did the problem happen and I told her I don't know maybe 2-weeks and she thru out a number and said "so possibly september 28th?" and I said yea sure then after that she was like oh sorry thats over the day period where we cant approve this claim an

I have a claim with them on my couch that ripped They keep on making stuff up then saying that it isnt covered You need to shut this company downThey stole my money

Multiple requests have been submitted for warranty service to our leather reclining sofa All have been denied
We purchased the sofa on 3/19/and received delivery on 6/29/ We have submitted claims for warranty service On 5/9/and 7/16/16, claims were submitted for the leather skirt in the rear of the sofa becoming frayed/torn due to the skirt getting caught in the recliner motor when a person reclines his seat Both of these claims were denied due to "wear and tear." Now, the leather is torn and we have submitted another claim The problem continues to exist and gets progressively worse Pictures have been submitted The same technician comes out every time and takes pictures Uniters letter states the "licensed technician that was in your home found the damages on the furniture are a result of wear and tear." How is the leather getting caught in the motor mechanism normal? We are getting nowhere with resolving this issue

We purchased a sectional from Value City Furniture in December of in Akron, Ohio We also at that time purchased the Uniters pure promise plan
We turned in a claim for the sectional on 10/01/ The stain happened on the same date Sectional value of purchase was $2899.94,the uniters plan paid at time of purchase was $Uniters sent out a technician on 10/10/the technician agreed the stain should be a covered damage and suggested replacement by UnitersThe rest of this sectional is in perfect conditionUniters is denying coverageI turned this in the same day stain appeared They are saying they will not cover discolorationI would never have purchased a warranty if the so called pure promise accident coverage is only if they decide a stain is a stain Why send a technician out to a costumer if you are notGoing to back what he states

I bought a sofa with motorized recliners and purchased a warranty to specifically repair any broken or nonworking mechanical issues as related to the motorized reclinersWhen one motor broke I tried to get the company to fix my sofa motor when one side broke which was outside their window of when it needed to be reported, which is fineI understand we missed the window and in the fine print that makes it ineligible for repairHowever, when the other side broke and was reported within the required window of time they refused to fix it because their first phone agent didn't record which side broke which they side since they cannot verify they'll fix neitherWe asked to speak to a CS manager but no one picked up and we left a message which said that someone will return our call within hoursIt's been weeks and no one has attempted to reach usThis leads me to believe that will return to saying that it was somehow not eligible because of their time window which then would take t

They refused to provide warranty coverage even when we followed the protocol
My husband and I bought a couch from *** and purchased the protection plan through worry no moreWe paid $for the protection plan and followed the protocol by calling the company when the first stain on our couch occurredThe company took a month to send a service technician and then refused to cover the damage to our couch due to technicalities that were not accurate *** the supervisor only states it was not covered even though I did correctly report the damage The company took my $and did not in turn give me the services required

I purchased a 7-year extended warranty on a sofa purchase thru UnitersUniters denied my claim improperly, as the damage was included in my warranty
In 2012, I purchased an extended year warranty on my sofa that covered all accidental stains, rips, tears or burns, cracking or peeling of top grain leatherI submitted my first claim on 7/21/16, due to a rip that happened in our leather sofaWhen the rip occurred (on 7/21), it ended up causing a chain reaction of peeling of the leather (which covered a large area)I took several pictures, and did my best to submit the claim on the Uniters website, which was extremely difficult to navigate throughI noted in my claim that I may not have selected the right coverage areas, but for them to contact me with any questions or additional details about my claim The website promised that my claim would be reviewed within two business daysIt was notI checked the status several times, and was not informed of the status until July 28,
