Uniters refuses to honor our claim for damage on our leather coffee table because they believe we are not covered for the damage Not true On January 24th, 2010, we purchased a round leather coffee table (model # XXX-XXX, reciept number XXXXXXXX) from Macy's We purchased a warranty service called Worry No More which is currently being serviced by Uniters North America On April 4th, 2016, we filed a claim (claim # CXXXXXXX) with Uniters because we had a tear that occurred on the leather table which we noticed after a friend accidentally rubbed his shoe on the table and caused a tear a few days prior We believed that the warranty should cover this repair A technician did come to our house and stated that the damage was cracking/peeling He filed this report with Uniters Inc and they came back to us and stated that cracking/peeling is not covered We sent an a dispute with pictures and a repeat that this damage was not cracking/peeling but a tear They sent a follow up lette

I need to have my couch repaired I purchased a warranty for my sofa when it was purchased I filed a claim and a repair person came to my home on 10/to inspect the damages He said that he would take the info to the warranty company to order the required parts Today is 10/and I have not spoken with Uniters regarding the repair I contacted them today and was informed that the parts for the repair were not ordered until 10/25/(almost weeks after the repair person accessed the damages) Now I am being told that it could take 8-weeks from the time that the parts are received for this repair I just feel that weeks for a repair is not acceptable and should not be First, they have never contacted me since the repair was accessed and I had to call to get the status only to be told that it could be 8-weeks after the parts are received before the repair will be done Totally unacceptable

I NEVER buy warranty products but this one seemed like a win-win If I don't use it, I get money towards my next purchase My mother always told me, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is Mothers are always right My problem concerns my dining room table I've kept it covered, along with the chairs, since day one I'm nearly sixty years old and it's the first new set I've ever had I have a table pad and a table cloth over Recently I took the table cloth off to wash, which I do on a regular basis and went to adjust the table pad It didn't move I found where it had fused to the table I don't have a clue as to when it happened but had to be very recent or how it happened I've racked my brains trying to figure it out I'm guessing one of the grandkids did something It was obviously heat related which should be covered by the warranty However, the claim was denied on the basis because they don't know what caused it, The first time the claimed was denied over the phone without even seeing a picture The associate tried to tell me that heat damage wasn't covered in the warranty but it clearly states that it is I disputed the claim but they said it wouldn't be covered because the cause is unknown An it could tell that it is heat damage from the evidence I'm stuck with a dining room table that will never be uncovered and I am so disappointed I'm sure when the time comes to cash in on the warranty because I never used it, there will be a reason why that won't happen either That's the way these businesses roll All I can say is I believe in karma What goes around, comes around I don't know how you sleep at night I would never recommend this company to anyone, in fact, I have warned everyone I know to stay far, far away

Worrynomore I purchased a warranty plan thru worrynomore when I brought my furniture thru MacysIve placed a few claim in with this company claim# CXXXXXX and have been giving the run around ever since I put in this claim Ive talked to macys & worrynomore and no one knows what to do about the claimIve been told go to the store and they will replace the pieces when I drive to the store no one knows anythingI paid for this warranty full price and Ive been fighting with them since January 18th to take care this defect
