Uniter's failure to honor warranty agreement for the repair or replacement of sectional leather sofa purchased from American Signature Furniture I purchased a leather sectional from American Signature Furniture and a warranty agreement from Uniter's North America in August of In March of the leather began to peel terribly in large portions 4-inches wide on all sections of the sectional sofaOn March 11, I submitted a claim to Uniter'sWithin approximately 4-weeks a technician reviewed the damage for approximately minutes, took a few photos and stated it could not be repaired and would need replacementOn 4/28/I received notification from Uniter's stating that the claim was denied based on assertion that the damages were caused by "neglect, misuse or abuse, violence, vandalism, alteration or lack of maintenance." None of the stated instances were accurate and peeling is specifically listed in the warranty agreement so I proceeded to submit a dispute on 5/13/

Uniters North America is not fulfilling their warranty obligation on a purchased furniture I purchased a sofa with a year warranty from American Signature Furniture in The warranty, serviced by Uniters, was to protect against stains, rips and tears in the sofa from accidents and wear and tear within the specified time frameFour years after purchasing the sofa, the fabric began to disintegrate in some areas resulting in rips in the fabricThe warranty brochure states that the purchased fabric guard warranty would protect the fabric from wearing over time due to the protectionWhen I submitted a claim upon finding the rips in October 2016, Uniters representative, Jessica, said the warranty did not cover the claimThis complaint is against Uniters for not fulfilling their warranty agreement

This is the WORST company ever! Don't waste your time on themAfter my husband and I got married, we went to Rooms To Go and bought a nice fabric sofa setAfter having a baby, the couch was stained with formula, vomit and etcI filed right away that I need it cleanBy the time someone came out here, btw his name is [redacted] who came out, it took them over a week, and the couch was stained more and moreIn their policy it states that they don't clean it if its an accident or its an accumulation of stainsBUT I told them in my claim what is in the stains and how old they are, so obviously by the time they came out, there was a few new stains but they weren't MONTHS OLD!!! [redacted] , the fat it came out, and was on his phone the entire timeHe was rude and didn't answer our questions, after briefly looking at the couch, he said, "ehhh, there's not much I can doI'll just report back what I see." AND LEFTWe were really confused but thought okay maybe that's how it is with them.....After a few days, we got a letter stating that the insurance will not cover anything and that we need to pay for a new couchWe were [redacted] offI called [redacted] and had a huge heated argument with himI told him why he did that what he did, and he said he has nothing to do with thatHe said that our couch was really stained,it's an accumulation and that there's nothing he can doHis tools weren't strong enoughI told him that these stains were fresh and he needs to do his job, of course that conversation came no whereSAVE YOURSELF TIME FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANYI rented a Bissell Deep cleaner from Lowes and my couch was shining within the next day

Warranty issue - Worrynomore refuses to fix/refund our sectional I purchased my $sectional along with Worrynomore Great Give Back SS Macys Year RTB at Macy's in Bensalem on 03/28/Policy: XXXXXXX Sometime later i've got a few stains on the leather sectional, and I opened a claim with Worrynomore Worrynomore dispatched a technician with horrible professional skillsThe technician tried to fix the stains, but created even bigger stains on my leather sectional and therefore damaged my sectionalThe stains were visible from the beginning and the technician was dispatched again, and again he did a lousy job againOver the years, the stains became even more visible, and now, Worrynomore refuses to fix the stains created by the tech saying they don't cover discoloration itemsMoreover, they even refuse to fix new water stains

I bought a piece set from [redacted] Furniture ( [redacted] Furniture) and they pressured me into getting the protection plan or else I won't get shippingThey said and gave me papers that say it covers all of the furniture from any accidental scratches, rips, stains and even peeling for yearsA year later one of the sofa chairs separated at the sewed area (seam separation) which is basically a factory deficit, not even a cut made by me which they should cover as wellSo I contacted the warranty company (Pure Promise)THEY ARE THE WORSTThey took an hour and minutes to answer and after hours of arguments they still said that nothing is covered and started playing around with words and saying that cuts are covered but seam separations are notI asked for a manager at least times but they never connect me they just hang up and this is no joke and it's illegalI also have recordings of all this and the representatives mentioning that I am not covered against any rip

Denial of valid claimTrying to deny based on factors set up by the company to never have to pay a claim Claim #CXXXXXXX My claim was denied because of wear and tear on 8/31/ Purchased from [redacted] Of course there will be minor marks on any piece of furniture I am specifically looking at the scratches/gauges in one section of the glass that happened as a one time incident (not wear) and it should not have been that easily scratchedThis is a design flaw or poor quality glassThey said they can deny a claim if there are any other marks indicating wear and tear This is a scam! You can't have a piece of furniture a month before you get a small ding or minor mark This is a way to deny all claims Macy's promised a no risk warranty that covered scratches/gauges etcI am disappointed how [redacted] sold this with promises they can't keep but I am more disappointed about the consumers being scammed into spending money on a warranty that will NEVER be

We bought furniture from Value City Furniture and we bought a warranty from Uniters North America, LLCWe filed a claim and it was denied In June 2016, we contacted Uniters North America LLC, to begin the warranty processWe spoke with one of their agents who took the claimWe stated that there were rips and tears in the furniture along the seams of both pieces of furnitureWe purchased a brown leather sectional, which consisted of two piecesUniters agents referred to the sectional as a couch and a love seat even though it is a sectionalThey were informed that the " couch" the bigger piece of the sectional has ripping of the seams and tearing on the back of the piece and the arm had deflated and that there was a small tear there alsoThe smaller or the " love seat", has seams that are tornWe were informed that according to our warranty the tears were not coveredWe then telephoned again to file another claim, which was there were stains on the front of the both pieces of

We were "sold" a warranty with Macy's that would be 5 years for a couch that we paid over $3,000. Before the couch was even 2 years old, a third party company was sent to look at our broken couch. There was a plastic piece holding the springs into the base of the chair that fell apart (because they are plastic...not a solid metal). We then received a letter from this Uniters North America telling us that this kind of thing was not "under warranty." The springs to a couch are not included in a 5 year warranty? We were over and over again, that our warranty would cover everything for 5 years. In order to dispute this company's decision that they would not cover our situation, you had to submit a letter via mail within 30 days. There is no phone number to call, and I guess you can email, but this is what the statement says: "If you disagree with us, you have the option to dispute our decision in writing within 30 days. Please review and confirm coverage before proceeding. Warranty service does not accept nor acknowledge disputes via telephone. Disputes must include a letter of dispute, a copy of your warranty, and a copy of your original sales receipt. Please attach at least 5 photos at good lighting and at different angles. Be sure to take a photo of the entire item and a few close ups of the affected area. Disputes will be reviewed and a final decision rendered to you in writing within approximately 30 (thirty) days." The technician who came had already taken all of these pictures...and in fact left my sectional in pieces (so now I have a broken couch that is not attached as I cannot do it on my own). I am the kind of person who does actually keep paperwork, but I think it is ridiculous that the only way to submit a dispute is to have your original receipt and your original warranty. I put in all of this information digitally when we purchased the couch! So, I am now paying for a warranty, that will not cover what I was promised, and there seems to be little room to contact an actual person to discuss the matter. And, in my mind, covering springs in a couch would be a basic level warranty when you are paying for a warranty that is a 5 year coverage.
