When I purchased my furniture, I was guaranteed that anything and everything would be covered
When I purchased my furniture, I was guaranteed that anything and everything would be covered I purchased the warranty incase my dog damaged my couches - I have contacted several representatives from UNITERS and I've received conflicting informationMy claim was denied due to it being pet damage Customer service is horrible and unwilling to helpI did not receive a copy of the Limitations and Exclusions - All I received was some pamphlet that has very little information on it
Warranty Repair Approved, but Nothing But Delays
In late March, I reported to the supplier that my one of my reclining home theater chairs had stopped working They referred me to Uniters who administers the extended warranty I had purchased
I contacted Uniters, sent in requested photos and they scheduled a technician for an on site inspection for April 4th The technician arrived, but I had to supply tools and a flashlight for him He confirmed the motor had stopped working and said he would submit his findings back to Uniters and I would hear back from them
Nothing from Uniters for several days so I called them to follow up They said they had not received the technicians report Said they would follow up and contact me Heard nothing I followed up and finally got a claim filed (***) and parts ordered on April 24th
I was told it would take 8-weeks for the parts to arrive at my house Was told when they did arrive call back and they would schedule the
Poor Customer ServiceLimited Coverage sold as Total Premium Coverage
Macy's advertised this second party warranty as a Premium Coverage PlanWe have piping that began to wear out on one of the cushionsThey would not cover itReally? We have to make several calls to get them to clean the furnitureThe rep either failed to add it to the work order OR decided not to do soAt this point, there has still not been anybody that has come to cleanI truly feel like the brochure that we received on this coverage OVERSOLD the actual service/warranty that the customer would receive
Uniters is not honoring their service Warrenty that I purchased when I purchased my Laz-E-Boy sofathey have denied my claim to repair my broken sofa
I have been in contact with Uninters
We purchased the Worry no more protection for a new couch from Macy'sAt the time we had a year old and knew better to order a cream colored couch with a toddlerThe Macy's employee reassured us the "Worry no More" protection would cover child-related incidents In February, my year and his cousin (years old), each found an ink pen in the house, and proceeded to mark all over the couch cushions, couch arms, and ottoman in the span of approximately minutesThe couch is ruinedWe didn't panic because we knew we had purchased the Worry No More protection planWe went through the proper process and submitted pictures The technician came by for minutes, reviewed the couch and leftThere's no cleaning the stains with the supplied solutions We received notice our claim was denied because the technician reported 'intentional damage, neglect, misuse or abuse, violence, vandalism, alteration or lack of maintenance and these items are not covered under the warranty agreement." We did dispute the findings per Uniters instructions and were denied againThe reality is, under the above description of the reason a claim can be denied, Uniters is able to deny any claim submittedWe're part of the nations largest daycare network, and we'll be warning parents on their nation-wide forum of this product so new parents aren't mislead into purchasing furniture they believe will be covered by Uniters services This is a wildly disappointing product detrimental to new parents looking for quality furniture
I paid $for an unlimited year warranty for stains and when I called in for a cleaning years in, I was denied
I purchased a $2,sofa as well as a $unlimited sofa cleaning warranty from Macys on May 6, and it was delivered on June 6, I was told that I would have unlimited cleanings for a period of years with this warranty and if the sofa was no longer being made, the entire sofa would be replaced at the value of the sofa at purchase priceI just called in for the first time for a cleaning and the claim process took me minutes on the phone and then I was deniedThe rep on the phone asked me if the stains were newI told her that some of the stains I had just noticed which is why I am calling nowShe asked if any stains were existing prior to the last fifteen days and I told her yesI was told that I had to have reported the stains within days of the first sign of the stainsDoes that mean that I should have called in at the sight of every single s
My recliner needed service due to the leather wearing offService personal was unprofessional
My less than two year old recliner had leather that was coming off I called Worry No More warranty , which I purchased from Macy'sThe service tech, Ahmad came to my house in June 2017.He put some kind of stain pencil on the leatherThis tech came on to me, continuing telling me that I was a " beautiful woman"As I went to get out of the chair, he took my hand and twirled me as if we were dancingThis made me very uncomfortable, due to being a widow and living aloneI felt like he was short of groping me
I told him that the chair had lost it's cushion stabilityHe proceeded turning the chair over and putting stuffing in itThe chair is completely uncomfortable and has been compromisedI am not able to sit in this chair for more than minutes, cue to it now hurts my backHe NEVER asked me if he could put extra foam in this chair, nor that it was not covered under the warranty
DO NOT BUY a warranty from this companySuch particular terms and conditions they will find a way not to cover reasonable items that should be covered
If you do have coverage already, make sure you follow every step outlined exactly as written
Oh and if you didn't realize you have only days to file a claim, apparently you shouldn't be honestI was honest about when I thought I first noticed it, causing my claims, which, according to the rep were valid claims, to be deniedWhen I said I was getting screwed for being honest, she just said, 'Those are the terms.'
Five of my dining room chairs were not cleaned, although they are all on warranty
I called in to report that I had a party at my house and of my chairs had food and beverage stains (plural) on themI was not specific with what type of foods or beverage was spilled on my furnitureUniters sent a tech out who took pictures and stated that he needed to send a report to Uniters who then denied my claimMy claim was denied because there were MULTIPLE STAINS on my furnitureWell of course there were multiple stains I had a party, that consisted of different foods and beverages, for me to be specific on exactly what was spilled on my furniture is ridiculous because I was not around when each spill happenedI followed the policy and called the very next day after the issue as required and I informed them that there are STAINS (in the English language I believe stains means plural and more than 1) I'm not sure what difference saying 'multiple' before 'Stains' is suppose to makeThey
I purchased a kitchen table, and with the table I also purchased a year warrantyI filed a claim and it was denied
I purchased my table at Just Cabinets Furniture & More on 8/11/ In less than a month the table received some water damage The technician that inspected the table said it was a design flaw and the table was replaced without difficulties Now on November 27, finger nail polish remover was accidentally spilled on the table This is covered under the warranty, however because the table was already replaced once they will not replace the table I can not find anything in the warranty information provided that says the warranty is void if the furniture is replaced When I called about the claim for the third time today 3/28/2016, because they did not even bother to tell me the claim was denied, the representative could not direct me to where it tells me that the warranty is void if replaced Also I have the letter informing me of the first replacement It d
I believe this company sells a warranty that will not cover any realistic claimThe Warranty was sold to me at Value City Furniture and was pushed a great warranty and must have for the furnitureThe warranty was purchased BEFORE the conditions of the Warranty were understoodI feel that I was scammed out of almost $Revdex.com please do something to end this practiceAs you can tell by all the complaints, this has to stop
Warranty on Sofa and Love seat not honored Warranty was sold for items it would never be able to cover
Love Seat, Sofa and extended warranty were purchased from JC Penney's on 11/25/ A claim was filed for cracking, peeling, ripping and tearing, Claim #CXXXXXXX Denial letter stated that it was not covered in part because the product was "Bonded Leather" The warranty specifically states that only Fabric, Vinyl and A&P leather are cover by the warranty JC Penney's sold a warranty for a product that would never be covered under that warranty Either Uniters is responsible for the replacement or JC Penney's is at fault for selling warranties on products not covered by the warranty JC Penney has already refunded the price of the warranty to me in an admittance that it should not have been sold
The way I see it, I was sold a box and told everything I would need to fix my product was inside it I put it on a shelf in the case that I would need it Many people probably ne
they refuse to honor warranty because they claim there were incorrect dates input -i was told to be called back SEVERAL times hrs it took a month
I have the original receipt as well as the warranty information I have filed a claim before with the EXACT same issueI put in information online and then they received it incorrectly They purposely emailed, not called, me back nearly two months after my original claimI was supposed to be called back in 24-hoursI talked to the supervisor Shanoa at ext *** - she was very very rude cutting me off talking over meEvery single thing that I reported is covered in my warranty and because they say the dates of incident and report are more than ten days apart they wont honor itThe incident and report are NOT ten days apart and they are or someone is lying or put in my information incorrectly and now im out over a thousand dollarsSeems like a theifly scamI was told I could not be transfered to a supervisor and was not allowed

I paid over $for a warranty protection plan for our couchAbout years into it we had some staining we couldn't remove and a couple of spots that "pop" when you get up from the couchI called to file claims and we filed the one for the staining first (the structural one was going to come later) after telling her what the stains were and that I have used the "care kit" they gave me several times with no results she asked specifically what date I used the cleaning kit, I told her and it was about days prior to our conversationShe then submitted my claim and came back saying it was denied because it had been more than days since I have used the care kit and I have to notify them within days per the contract(In the tiny tiny fine print it apparently says this, but I obviously was unable to see it in the contract)I said, okay so I will use the care k
This insurance company does not honor their insurance contractI wasted the money that I spent on the insurance I purchased for my furniture
In October of I purchased a sectional couch from Value City FurnitureI also purchased insurance coverage from Uniters insurance to cover the couch for a number of issues for years from purchase dateThe insurance covers a number of things, including the accidental puncture of the leather on the couchMy couch, being bonded leather, is subject to cracking, which uniters does not coverOn 5/13/2017, on my birthday, I had my family overMy young niece on this date found a steak knife from under my couch, and punctured both pieces of my sectional couchI filed a claim with united for repair of these punctures, and they denied the claim with the following response:
Dear *** ***,
The photos that were submitted reflect an accumulation of damages on your furnitureAccording to the terms and the conditions of your warrant
Uniters repeatedly denies and closes a claim that should be covered, also with no notification
In December 2017, I opened a claim with Uniters for a hole in my slipcoverThey called repeatedly without leaving a message, so it took nearly a month to arrange the adjuster appointmentThe adjuster then no-showed and no-called, leaving me waiting all day on a SaturdayThey called again at almost pm on the following Monday to say the appt had been cancelled and they wanted to reschedule(It was never cancelled, I was never notified, and it still showed in the portal day of appt, because I checked when he no-showed.) Angry, I set up another for the following SaturdayHe was there all of minutes, and noted that I had the hole plus some bite markshe advised the bite marks were likely not covered but I could submit in a separate claimThen my claim was denied due to pet damageeven though that's not what the hole I submitted was fromI reopened the claim and explained suchThey clos
