How do I start this off? I filed a claim with Uniters on July 20, 2018 with customer service. The representative ask about the claim on my furniture I purchased 2 years ago. I let her know that my child a sleepover & one of the kids put cuts in the furniture with scissors. She told me that she will put the claim in & someone will contact me about the claim. In 3 business days a rep contacted me stating that a technician will come out on August 1, 2018. Remind you that their call was being recorded for my records. The technician came out & took picture. He filed a report with warranty service saying, "Based on the service technician's report and photos the damages were caused by neglect, misuse, intent, or abuse, violence, vandalism, alteration or lack of maintenance and these are not covered under the terms of the warranty agreement. As a result of these findings, nothing further can be offered at this time. Please refer to your warranty certificate for specific coverage and exclusion information." After the technician made his report Uniters sent me this, "we regret to inform you that claim CXXXXXXX from 07/20/2018 has been determined to be not covered for the reasons in the attached document. Please refer to your warranty certificate for full Terms and Conditions." They also stated that I have 30 days to dispute this claim. I disputed the claim & they sent me a letter dated August 17, 2018 day that the "cuts on the furniture are not accidental." How can you tell someone that their claim are false?? My warranty covers repairs or replace of the furniture for a stated period of 5 years. The warranty legally obligates your company to live up to its promise, if the product turns out to have an "Accidental Rips" that's covered by this warranty. After my research of company Uniters, this has been an on-going scam from your company. I sent a certified letter and email on August 22, 2018 stating, "Please provide additional information pertaining to the claim number listed above: â?¢ Claims Department Supervisor's Name and Physical Address in reference to this warranty â?¢ Supervisor's Contact Number â?¢ Claim Adjustors/Technicians name on this account." No one have provided me with this information! Uniters/Warranty Service only wants to get your money but Do not wants to abide by their contract! This a SCAM! They only wants to sit behind the computer to email & send letters to deny your claim! Uniters will not provide any information about my who's working on my account. After looking on RevDex.com, it's an ongoing issue with Uniters! They do not deserve a "B" score!

I purchased a sofa from macy's and also purchased the Warranty for stains administered by Worry No More. I contacted them per the plan (within 10 days of the stains and during the warranty period). A rep was sent out to the house to clean them. He did not clean but took photos and left. I got a notice that it was an accumulation of stains and was not covered. I told them I did not appreciate them calling me a liar and I reported per the policy. I filed a formal dispute and they denied it. This is a sham. I demand they either clean or provide me a refund.
