Noom

I was charged $129.00 without indication after the trial. Noom charges outside of the Apple App Store Subscription module so it was not clear that I was going to be charged, or that there was a subscription pending in the first place. I think it's pretty dubious and slimy to charge people in this manner and would have appreciated being notified that I was going to be charged.

Paid three dollars to try the app....next thing you know they charged my card 129 dollars. I didn't agree to that...

I was automatically billed for the next 4 months and was never given the option to opt out before they charged my credit card.

Its a scam! They do not actively allow you to speak to any one on the phone. I was did not pick the plan they charged me for. When I signed up for the trial I was NEVER told that they woulf be charging me a 170$. They offer no assistance when trying to speak to someone. To charge someone for 8 months without their approval is absolutely a scam and to not offer refunds or pro rated payment. This company is a joke.

I signed up for Noom and canceled within a week. They still charged me $44.50 for a menu program that I didn't even realize that I was ordering. I canceled within 7 days and specifically requested them to refund my meal program. They have not and I have called the credit card company for help in getting rid of these very slippery people.

I can only duplicate what everyone else has documented. I thought I was signing up for a initial trial for $10. I see I have been billed an additional $136.74 for I have no idea why. I will contest this charge immediately. This is deception at it's best. A total dishonest business practice.

I wish I could give a zero. I can't believe how unethical their subscription process/charging is. I signed up for a free trial, only to then need to pick an amount to pay; I picked $1, because I thought it would be free and just wanted to check it out; as soon as I start, they attempt to upsell me on a meal plan and a workout plan (if all of this is an additional cost, what good is the app?); I expressly remember a statement saying you'd only be charged the $1, nothing more, which is why I felt safe only doing the $1 fee. I didn't open it once, and woke up this morning to a $169! I immediately freaked out, began searching for some kind of "contact us" or "help" line, which is impossible to find, either within the app or on their website. In desperation I finally fired off a message to my "coach," whereupon she said it was an issue for a support representative and then shortly after I wasn't able to send further messages. It's just a complete scam! They lure into a free trail, but request you pay a nominal fee, so they can steal your money later. Way to pray on people's vulnerability and desire to be healthier. For a company that seeks to support clients' in a therapeutic way, they certainly don't begin with transparency and trust. They should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT GET TRICKED INTI ALLOWING THEM TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. Total scam.

The lowest of the low. How dare you take advantage of people that truly need help with weight loss. I hope you get a class action suit brought on you and are exposed for the crooks you are. If you're on here reading these reviews before signing up just don't do it. Save yourself the headache and money. This company should be ashamed of themselves but I doubt they are just more greedy scam artists nothing new. And I love there auto bot response system on here ,like they care smh ,right.

I just looked at the plan and never hit sign up and somehow this company scammed me out of 99.00. The next thing I know there is a withdrawal from my bank account. They're telling me a refund will be within 2-7 days and I haven't seen a dime. It was the same day my bank went down over a busy shopping day. This company is crooked. I've heard nothing just received robotic answers. How awful.

Noom makes it extraordinarily difficult to terminate their "services." I sent them written notification of cancellation prior to the deadline (I have a screenshot of the note). They have now charged me $129 twice (at one of their most expensive rates, by the way) as if they never received the cancellation. I have never used the website or program.

I subscribed to 14 day Noom free trial to check it out as it was advertised that after free trial ends there will be monthly payment, cancel any time. I only entered my data and check it out once, never talked to coach. I only received an email on November *** with blank spots as dates, only 14 days trial. No reminder email, nothing. My 14 days are passing today and they immediately charged 145 dolars of my accont. Then billed for 12 months and haven't even used product. No person to talk to to get money back as I keep getting system generated messages and an email telling me there is a refund policy with no refund possible after 14 days trial which is free?! I am writing to you since this is a US company according to their website based in New York and I demand a full refund from these scammers. They are unprofessional and unethical.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I canceled before my trial period by notifying my coach as instructed when signing up. Two days later when I was “reminded to open my app” I went back into Noom and saw that my coach asked me to confirm. I couldn’t have made it more clear when I said “Please cancel my subscription.” When I confirmed, I was later sent a link to cancel. This stretched beyond my trial period. Completely impossible to reach anyone at Noom about this is all messages from coach are now automated. I’m beyond livid.

This is ridiculous. There is no way to cancel. They send an auto reply with a link that doesn't work. But there are no other options. SCAM

What a scam. No way to cancel and they continue to charge. We called our credit card company and they are actually blocking NOOM so that we don’t continue to be charged. They are well aware that it is a scam as well.

Noom makes it impossible to contact them to cancel a subscription. I signed up and paid $129.00. Since then I have been charged $129.00 2 more times without my permission, for a total of $387.00 so far. I've tried to call and email to cancel with no response.

I’m super mad I did not download this app and I have no idea how they got my credit card information and they charged me in august which I never noticed but theY charged me again this past week. I have never even heard of Noom! I contacted them and they sent me a contract that I never filled out! I want my money back! This is a total scam!
I have never even used my email or logged into this app!
Someone should do something about this scam!

I cancelled my membership today 12/11/19 and never even used the trail, they charged my account 172.$. I am disputing with paypal now. I want a full refund as I am not going to use this stupid app/ I hate it and wish I never signed up. TOTAL SCAMMERS.

Business charged my account (3) times without consent. I never chose a plan or a coach! I tried to contact Noom, but there was no prompt for a person. The first time I was charged, I followed the instructions on their website to download the app. No luck there either. My bank account has been charged $226.82.

I contacted Noom on a Google search for a diet plan. They said $10 was the trial and then a screen popped up for THEIR SCAM of $59.00 USD for a discounted period. The $10 could only work on an Apple phone. They realized I didn't have one, and immediately refunded the $10 and cancelled the subscription. They didn't however refund the $59. Why would I stay with a company that scammed me. I emailed multiple times within minutes of ordering demanding my money back and several people wrote back and said I was cancelled but nothing about my money back. This is criminal

My card was charged at 7am on the *** day of my trial. I should have had all day on the *** to cancel and then my card could be charged the ***. Instead of a 2 week trial I was given 13 days and charged on the ***. You are unable to talk to anyone at Noom to try and resolve these issues there fore I am filing a complaint.
