Signed up for their premium service because of the supposed dedicated "Coach specialist". $120 gone to waist, the coach hardly checks in other than the automated emails and responds a couple of days later. Its ridiculous that they can't offer a refund after 14 days.
So sorry that you did not have the best experience with Noom! We would love to know what went wrong here. Do you mind reaching out to us with your Noom account email at *** regarding this? Thanks!
Dissatisfied with the information overload, Also ordered the meal plan and didn't receive it in a timely manner. Food logging app is much behind the free *** app--unable to unsubscribe until the billing cycle ends. Then they have you on auto-subscribe and they receive another $90 of your money. DON'T DO IT!!!

False advertisement. Noom, It's a fraud company. They just take your money and they have no customer service You can't contact them at all. I was charged $159.00 and I'm trying to dispute the charge with my bank at the time. Companies like this should not exist!!!

App stopped working, and customer service has no real help. Won't refund any portion of $199 I paid for the year, even though program is useless without functional app. As for the weight loss program, it's just a glorified calorie counting app, and the coaches are useless. I asked the coach for a suggestion about how to avoid food triggers, and he asked ME what I thought would work. Why am I paying for a coach who wants me to figure it out? Also, the daily overload of trite positive platitudes was ridiculous. Guess I have to kiss the $199 goodbye - thank goodness I paid with a credit card number that isn't active anymore so they can't charge me for another year for "my convenience". Wish I had read these reviews first...

Noom Inc. charged me a $140 renewal fee for my subscription. I was not informed prior to this fee that they would be re-charging me. I have not used the app in months and was unaware that there would be any additional charges. I went into the app to cancel via my Goal Specialist, but I only received an automated response, telling me to click a link to continue with no further support. Additionally, I have attempted their 800-number and it was merely a voice recording. I have emailed their support team and the only response I received was an automated one, informing me that the email I was using to communicate with them they did not recognize. I then went back into the app to retry communicating with the Goal Specialist and my account was shut down. I desperately need the $140 that Noom charged me and am requesting a refund.

I signed up with Noom and used the app for about 2 months. I did the trial and paid up front for 8 months. ($159) However, I was advised by my dr to use a different diet plan and keep a food diary that I would have to give her. So, that being said, I no longer need Noom. I have only used about $40 worth of the membership I have paid for and since I am not using it for medical reasons I would like to get a refund for the unused portion of my membership.

Very hard to use. They have no care for customers trying to cancel and make it very difficult to do so. I canceled and I can’t even get a refund even though I never used the application once. Very cold and heartless company. Stay away

Noon charged me $149 after two week trial, non-refundable. Can't reach a human about the charge for a 6 month subscription. I had no idea this would happen.
We’re so sorry for the confusion! Do you mind reaching out to us with your Noom account email at *** so we can look into this? We do display the trial fee and subscription cost during the signup process. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I was charged 129.00 for a subscription to Noom even though I never created an account with the company to do so. When trying to log in to the account to try and cancel, it says I never had an account. This proves that I never fully submitted the request to create an account nor buy the subscription. The company obviously obtained my billing information illegally

Appears on statement as: NOOM PLAN ID-*** SUB.NOOM*** paid $10 for a trial in "Noom" which I stopped after two days of use, and unloaded the iPhone app. Checking my *** and noticed a charge for $169.02. I called *** and demanded a phone number since this was not provided on the charges/statement page. I immediately disputed the $169.02 charge online and by phonecon to *** customer services, Jay in the Phillipines. Jay provided a number *** to call Noom. I called and was directed to provide name, and to go to their website and comply with their terms which was to leave an email with description or reload their app and "request" cancelation. I did not authorize a $169.02 charge, just $10. I certainly did not agree to their terms of cancellations or refund "requests". Noom makes it impossible to cancel unless it's online, with their application, I believe their process is unethical. If there was fine print covering their "liability", it was not specifically provided in the sign up process in an ethical manner. I was not charged $10 for which I agreed as a "trial". It is unethical for an online business entity to provide the burden to the consumer terms that Noom requires for a customer to "request" cancellation/refund. There is no telephone number provided on their website for customer service. Actually there is no customer service. I refuse to pay $169.02 for ambiguities in bait and trap processes that does not automatically present it's terms. This type of clever marketing is a creeping sickness across America. There is a serious problem when service is non-existent. Noom's process to get my refund is not acceptable. If the FTC were to look at Revdex.com's complaints, and many other searches of Noom, it should be apparent there is a problem with this entity. Noom has not provided documentation to me of any agreement. Offer and acceptance must be present for a contract. I also did not make any type of parol agreement. I wiped the app off my phone, then I considered my "trial" over. I did not read any documentation nor was any documentation provided to me of the "required process" to reload their app in order to "request" cancellation, let alone demand reversal of charges made to my credit card. Charges that I was completely unaware of, just $10 which did not appear. The expectation of Noom to re-download their application denies my right to privacy. I stopped before the trial period was over, I expected an agreed price of $10 on my credit card. Their $169.02 charge and their "policy processes" deny my right to privacy. Noom makes it very difficult for an older person such as myself find immediate remedy. Noom, at least in it's marketing online for behavior modification/weight loss/etc is not fair. I participated in a "trial" which means it is non-binding. I agreed to $10, but I was charged $169.02, this constitutes fraud. Furthermore I cancelled a product/service and expected privacy. But in order for me to dispute, I have to submit an email which does not allow enough characters to make a substative request or demand. Or I have to allow Noom to make me download their product, and go trough the process answering a lot of questions, or typical "sales pitches", or surveys. To me once a trail is over, it's over. I want them to quit hanging on to me, allow me privacy, provide a proper "offer and acceptance" initially and accept an "offer and refusal". "NOOM PLAN ID-*** SUB.NOOM***" is all that appears on my CC.

The company advertises itself as having a monthly subscription, but at the end of my trial I was billed for two months. They make it very difficult to cancel prior to the trial ending and to contact a person through their support. There is not email or phone number listed. I feel like they'e not being transparent at all and engaging in deceptive and unfair business practices and intentially making it difficult to cancel or contact anyone.

I started the free trial of Noom without any ability to cancel my subscription. They made it seem like I had cancelled it given that their subscription is the only app that did not show up on the apple ID subscription page. It is very illegal to offer a payment through apple pay and not show this in the subscription page. There was no ability to speak to anyone about getting a refund and when I contacted them, they offered little help. This product targets the older population, meaning that if it was difficult for myself (an IT product director), there is no way that someone with less digital understanding is going to be able to cancel their auto renewal. This is a scam of an app with a lot of features that are completely out of compliance. particularly on the billing and collections side.

I signed up for the 14 day Noom plan and at the end of the 14 day trial period, no email was provided reminding me that my trial period would come to an end and that I would be charged $99. When I first signed up it was mentioned that I would be charged the $99, no notice since then. When I was about the cancel my subscription, they had already charged the $99 and even though I was not planning in using the program anymore, they would not provide a refund. I have cancelled the subscription, but my concerns after reading complaints online, is that they will still try to charge me in two months time, since they charge $99 for a two month package. I am concerned that they will sneak in a charge, even though I cancelled, and then I will be unable to get a refund due to their policy.
Here is the description in the receipt email:
If you decide Noom is right for you, on August *, 2019 you will be charged one payment of $99 for your 2 month Noom membership ($49.50/month).
Noom will automatically charge your card $99 every 2 months so you don't lose access to your account. No refunds or credits for partial months. To cancel, simply let your coach know.
After your 14-day trial ends on August *, 2019, your subscription fee is non-refundable. See our Refund Policy.

I was charged $129.00 even though I cancelled my membership via *** well in advance of the 14 day deadline. The product is not good...hence why I cancelled. And now I know the company itself is dishonest/crooked. I feel like they had two separate signups and are trying to confuse consumers. Very dissatisfied.

I cancelled this subscription last year abd on august first was charged $160 or so dollars again. When I went to go fill out a support form on their desktop website I was unable to as the form is incorrectly formatted and will not allow you to submit.
