If you need or want to loose weight the right way this is it
This is a scam when you don't send no notice that the trial period is ending or that if a person wants to cancel and they haven't used a week yet more a month and you say no refund. Nothing but a scam. Something should be done about you all.
It’s repetitive on information after the first week. It’s no different than logging your meals into an app and restricting your calories. On information regarding exercise and weight loss it talks out of both side of its mouth. It helps it doesn’t help???? Well which is it? I also find that if you have an unhealthy relationship with food this is not the app for you. You should be speaking with a professional. Especially if you use it to comfort you. Food addiction is a real thing to overcome and an app isn’t going to do that. But having a healthy relationship with a therapist will.
I have read the reviews and I hope that when my time comes to cancel, I will follow
the directions to tell my goal coach and everything will work out. I am 72 years old
and really need help to eat right. My only compliant would be that I do not carry my
phone everywhere and that I can not print out the articles that are so helpful at the
time I am reading them, but would like to keep them handy in paper form for my
use. I am losing, but so slowly. I am being mindful of what I eat, and I don't like
logging in what I eat to the point I don't eat that extra cookie or roll, etc. That is
good. The group stuff does not work for me. It maybe my age. If I have a question
it has been answered fairly quickly.
One of the best apps I’ve ever experienced! It’s an effective program as well, I’ve lost weight and feel like a new person.
Now onto why I gave them 3 stars. Ive reached out 3 times to their customer service because I was charged full price when I should have received 80% off. There is not a phone number and I’m being ignored. I also referred my husband and never got my referral bonus either. So disappointing. I wonder if I will receive a response after this post? I will cancel if I don’t hear back.
The mobile app, which is Noom's only platform, is badly flawed. It's impossible to enter foods or build recipes into your database. There's only a master database, so you must send a food item to Noom, which eventually adds it. However, thousands of people are sending such items, which Noom keeps adding. So, the database is filled with duplicates, misspelled items, foods entered several times with different calories counts, etc. Tech support is unresponsive. On the plus side, the curriculum is well written and supportive, and the involvement of coaches and group members is helpful.
Not too thrilled with program. Too much info, not enough guidance. A waste of money. The group thing does not work. I think a lot of people in my group got disengaged. I think Weigh Eatchers is much better. Or some of the other free apps that let you track your food intake. Will not be renewing it once the 4 months I paid for are up
I wanted a program to help encourage my new healthy habits. The coaches are there and do communicate but the delay between communications is far too long. The group coach does a better job at keeping in touch with the group but that seems to be slowing down as time goes on (only been 5 weeks). The calorie count for many products is missing or incorrect and I can do no logging on the computer or do any meal planning within the ap. I mentioned this to my coach and received no feedback. When I signed up I knew I was willing to pay but I did not expect them to take the entire payment at once. I gave two stars only because I had an idea what I was signing up for and in general they have given me some of what I asked for, but they have not gone over and above, and their communication with the consumer is poor.
I like the encouragement each day of your information. I wish you did not need to use bad language to sound humorous.
Good tips, funny and interesting articles each day, love the food tracking... but the coaches and group aspects could be better. First, I haven't been assigned to a group, so I can't talk with anyone or complete my assignments. My individual coach seems like a great person (Hi Ethan) but I may get one, maybe two messages a week. Its hard to hold a conversation and capitalize on their advice when it's so irregular.
Didn't work for me. I did like the overall App. Well thought out and functional. Keeps you on your toes but I have a feeling that your 'Coach' seems to be a Bot. Again, it is very well programed. When I signed up I didn't pay attention to the details of billing and now I realize it's on auto-scription so I asked my 'Coach' how I go about canceling and I quickly received an auto-response with a link to do so. So it will end in at the end of my term and if I want to continue there are free apps to help you log you daily routines.
Not as bad as the reviews, not as good as the advertisements.
I'm unimpressed so far. There's nothing novel here and the daily weigh ins seem excessive and not really helpful. I will absolutely be canceling after my months subscription is up (only because I wasn't able to cancel fast enough before my free trial ended).
Was charged $129 after canceling and only automated responses was available to speak too. That tells me it’s a scam. So frustrating. I hope someone shuts them down and sues so we can get our money back
I think this company prays on people who have tried everything and is looking for something to work. They use manipulation and trickery to get people to stay. I don't see them having much sustainability but I guess that doesn't matter to them. They will quote you a price for a month and when you sign up for the trial you would think you'd be charged the price they quoted for the month. However, that is not the case they make you pay for 4 to 6 months all at one and they deduct that amount immediately and then claim there is no refunds. As someone who doesn't make much money and was literally stretching the bank just to see if a month on this program would help. I was devastated, I didn't even get to use the trial properly as I got bronchitis so this company is awful.
I signed up for a 14 day trial, they charge $1 for this "Free trial". But as they sign you up you are not disclosed to that as soon as the trial is up they are going to bill you for an 8 month subscription of $159 not for one month. I was never given the option of time frame or the cost of my bill after the trial if I continue. Sadly the trial of the service showed it was more of just a food tracker not a couching app, as the couching was mostly cut and paste responses from the couch. I would have gone 1 month insto the subscription which was my intention but after this and them billing me for 8 months and the cancellation methods and policy I would never do business with them again. I wish I would have seen all the complaints and reviews on Revdex.com before I tried them out.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I also suggested to them and I will mention here that the ads and their apps need to be more clear and understandable of what their product charge is. Seems that we all suspect a 1 month charge but end up getting hit with 8 months on a couching service that seems more AI then human.
Sincerely
this app is inferior to the other free apps out there like ***. but worst of all, they try to keep charging you when you express that you do not like the app and no longer want to use the app any longer.
Noom is a scam. I tried to cancel on the final day of my trial and could not log into my account. They are quick to charge you and will not refund. They show their prices by month, but then charge you $129 for a 4 month plan. The app is a giant waste of time and money. The "coach" is an automated bot. The recipes are ridiculous and not for average people. I'm a single mom that struggles to make ends meet. I can't buy all the food they show in their recipes. The app is a joke and the company is continuing to scam people.
I would leave zero stars if that was an option. This company is a rip off. I looked into it and after less than 24 hours cancelled my trial. I have since been charged for the program and I am going to fight legally to get this money returned. I contacted their customer service to cancel because I was told that I would need to cancel with my coach that I never heard from! PLEASE shut this company down. It is 100% fraud!
I signed up with Noom 2.23.19. I bought the free 14 day trial and the customized exercise and weight loss plans. I received the documents which were generic, and available everywhere for free. I am out $ 59 because I stupidly used s debit card. It is now February 25th. I cannot log into NOOM, I can't use the documents sent to me, and their two 800 numbers tell you that you must log in. You cannot talk to anyone.
I have sent several questions to NOOM and no results. I called my card company and filed a dispute. I can't believe I was so stupid as to expect this to work. This is a FRAUDULENT company.
I am very disappointed in their billing practices and customer service. They require you to download the App to use all of the functions, however when I did this the APP store now started charging me monthly for their service, meanwhile they are also stating they will be charging my credit card on the 1st for $169. I contacted my coach, and she said there was nothing she could do, so I contacted support and they just told me that "Your trial expires on the 1st of March and your card will be charged $169.73"! I have made multiple attempts to cancel this subscription prior to the March 1st deadline and am getting the run around. I have heard that others have had similar nightmare experiences with them. I attempted calling the 1-800 number on this page, and it is only a recording telling you to download the APP and cancel. It doesn't matter which prompt you choose, you get the same recording.
