I agree with all of the other reviews here. I cancelled prior to the free trial period and they still kept the $59 that they were paid to sign up for the meal plan. I have no access to the meal plan without an active membership. There is no way to contact them and actually speak with a real person.

129.00 was taken out of my account by this company . I didn't authorize. I am out on comp and need my money. Because of this I have 7.39 in my account.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely

This 'company' is only in it for the money! Some people might find what they offer beneficial but for what they charge for what they offer... you can find better. Trust me! PLEASE if you haven't downloaded the app yet, do your research!
For those of you on here that have already figured this out and have lost money due to their 'refund policy'... I suggest you, as I have already done, email them through their 'support system' letting them know that you feel their business practices are UNETHICAL, especially their billing system, for whatever reasons you have. I had plenty including: attempts to cancel that were ignored, their refund policy and FAQ sections being difficult to navigate or get any useful information out of, and the fact that they do not email or inform you in ANY way that your trial period is up and you are about to begin being billed. I also never actually used the app or inputted any information into it besides the initial sign up, because I realized pretty much immediately that what they offered wasn't actually what they were advertising... plus $150 for a computer to generate advice and tasks for me through an app for 6 months?? I can get that somewhere else for cheaper ... or free!
I informed them that their business was obviously a scam, and that their billing policy and practice was unethical and considered CUSTOMER FRAUD as defined by the Customer Protection Act of 1986. I also threatened to report them to the New York Attorney Generals Office.
I also copied 4 different other customer reviews stating the very same things I was from ***, and another review websites into the email.
I received an email within 30 minutes informing me that she "spoke with her manager and I would be receiving a full refund within 2-5 business days" .... I received my refund within an hour of that email back on my pay-pal account.
I suggest anyone else out there that gets scammed by this company to do the same as I have. If you want your money back.

I signed up for one round of Noom. I did not know it would automatically sign me up again after that first session and charge me for another round when that session was done. I don't want to do it again and they apparently don't refund. The $99 dollars is pending from my checking right now and I don't want to do the next session so I would like that refunded. I have cancelled the subscription.

tried downloading the app after pay $1 to get a coach, but the app would never download so I have no way of contacting a coach and do not know how to cancel my subscription. today is the same day I made my $1 purchase and I think I might be screwed.

This is a scam they automatically renew a monthly service as a six month lump sum. No renewal notice! No chance to cancel beforehand.

If I could give zero stars I would. There is nothing new to see here. It’s your basic count calories diet program. They promise coaching but if you ask any question you will need to wait forever for an answer. The app is next to useless. You can’t create recipes and have them stored in your profile, so you better like a recipe they have listed or get used to logging things an item at a time. What really angered me was I had signed up for $59 to be withdrawn from my checking after the 2 week free trial and they withdrew $149 which they would not refund. My recommendation would be download *** and go on a 1200 calorie a day diet. Noom is not worth it if it were free and trust me, it isn’t free.

Beware - the program has significant limitations that prospective users are not told about. My cell phone uses Android as the operating system and I have discovered that many of the features advertised are ONLY available through the Apple IOS platform. The step tracking feature won't work. I have been told that Noom "doesn't support" my particular phone. That information is nowhere on the website. I am requesting a refund along with my cancellation because the service delivered was not as advertised, and all I'm receiving is a scaled back version of the program (but at full price). We'll see...

I did everything to cancel account and found out they were charging me. Couldn’t get ahold of anyone with the company. I then called *** who told me how to cancel the subscription through them. A refund has been initiated through Apple. What a scam. I would give negative stars if I could.

I subscribed online to Noom, Inc. for a free 7-day trial of this weight/exercise program. As indicated, to cancel I had to go on their app and notify Noom of my cancellation. I cancelled within the time frame but was billed for $149 a few weeks later. When they automatically deducted the $149, they overdrew my account at my bank, where I was charged $35 for overdraft fee.

I have repeatedly tried to notify them through the app and I am only getting "System Generated Messages." This is a scam program. How can I get my money back.

Consumer Beware....
They make it impossible to cancel prior to the free-trial ending that by the way costs 1.00... It is a bait and switch, telling you it costs x amount a month and then they charge you for the whole thing at once.
Make sure you cancel the auto-renewal as well or they will charge you again for that. Horrible Customer Service, User Experience and overall experience.

I signed up for Noom under a free trial period. When I signed up I was told that I would by $19 a month for the service. I became dissatisfied with the program and cancelled my subscription, thinking well it's only $19 I'll be out. When I checked my bank account I'd been charged $159, there's a big difference between $19 and $159. I never signed up for an 8 month program at $159, I signed up for a trial period that stated it was $19 a month after the trial period. After reading reviews on social media and the Revdex.com I discovered that this is a pattern with Noom.

I signed up for a free 15 day trial and after that day it was supposed to only be around $20 a month depending on what you select. I was waiting for a notification that the free trial was over and never received. Then I was charged over $100 for a 4 month supscription. I never agreed to pay 4 months at a time. It said $20 a month. I’m not expecting to be automatically billed for 4 months when I ever selected that option. Then when I tried to discuss this with their support team they said they are refusing to refund me because of the their policy. I wasn’t even trying to cancel at the time I just want a refund for 3 months so that I wasn’t billed at one time. They falsely advertised their plans and billing terms.

the company has refunded my full amount of money

NO Stars. This company makes it very hard to cancel and never disclosed that you will be automatically be charged $129.00. There is no one to talk to. Everything is done through automated in app messaging that declines to refund the charge.

I didn't know what they were till I was charged 119.08 to my card. I never signed up. I emailed and was told I would hear back in 2-3 business days. I have yet to hear. I have cancelled my card and contacted the phone # which is a recording. I need my money back. They say the only way to cancel is to go through a coach. Then you have to sign up to get a coach. It's a scam. Now still disputing and no contact.

Fraudulent enterprise. All computer-generated responses delayed responses so that you overstay your one week “free trial” can’t reach anybody to discuss any problems or even to cancel it offers nothing it’s a disgrace

I tried to cancel way before the trial, still was charged, was sent an error when trying to cancel. They took 170.73 out my account. Tried to call, look up info, kept getting an automated phone system, tried to reach anyone for days. This place is a total scam!! Trying to still get my money back, working with my bank.

SCAM!! I signed up for a "discounted" 1-year subscription. First, they tried to charge me the FULL amount, even though that's not the program I signed up for. After multiple exchanges with customer service, I thought it was all sorted out. I was told I was all paid up for the discount plan and good to go. Two months into it my app stopped working and when I contacted customer support again I was told I no longer had a subscription due to "payment issues" (my payment info had not changed), but I would now need to pay $59 a month to continue. Turns out they never intended to honor the agreed-upon discount and were billing me $59/month all along. That is NOT what I agreed to!! This company employs shady business practices and the "live coach" did absolutely nothing but regurgitate my words back to me without comprehending what I was actually saying, and she did not "check in" weekly as they said she would. I think the whole thing is fake and they misrepresent the service you will actually receive as well as the cost.

Noom is very interesting and educational. I have tried *** and lost weight every time. But once I reached my goal, the weight crept back because I went back to my old habits. So far on Noom, I lost 10 lbs in one month and its easy to stick to their food category system and daily calorie limit because I am an experienced dieter. What is new is learning the psychology behind what, when, and how much I eat in the first month. The next month I will learn the physiology and hormones affecting my weight loss. I signed up for 4 months. So far, so good. I want to learn how to break my old bad habits and form new ones which will result in permanent weight loss. Just to make sure I will keep up the new habits, I plan to extend my membership.

I would give this company MINUS five stars. Noom does not want to talk to you. They do not have a phone number listed on their website. The only way to contact them is through your "coach." I don't have one because I don't want to do anything to use this account. I don't want a coach, I don't want the account. I didn't realize I was signed up for one (long story). If you call the number listed for Noom here at Revdex.com you do reach Noom, but you only reach a recording telling you to contact your coach on the Noom app if you want to cancel. What a completely ridiculous way to run a company. They do not want to talk to you. They only want your money.
