the district manager, ***, who offered the customer a 50% discount on the purchase of a new battery*** has offered this discount as a customer courtesy due to the customer's battery being outside of the original year purchase warranty date of 2/13/***, along with the other phone agents, and general manager at the store have explained our warranty policy to the customer, that the warranty lies with the original purchase and not with any exchange that was taken place between the original purchase date and nowWe have offered the customer a 40% discount on a new purchase originally, to which they denied the offerIn turn, our district manager offered the customer a 50% discount on their new purchaseThe customer again denied this and became belligerent with ***, eventually ending their conversation with himDue to the unprofessional conversation the customer exhibited, *** retracted his offer of 50% off a new purchaseAt this time, we cannot offer a free replacement for the customer's battery as it is now outside the original warranty period. My motorcycle is a Harley ***son model FLSTN. Also called a Heritage SpecialSame as a Fat Boy accept different accessory's. I have owned this motorcycle for over years and have not had this problem with any other batteryYour employees have stated they have had complaints about this this battery many times on my type of motorcycle. I was standing in front the rep with ***'s *** while they were speaking regarding my faulty parts, and the Advance Auto Parts agent advised that they would be more than happy to refund the labor, along with the partsBut, his tone changed when it was bought to his attention that I the customer of ***'s had purchased the parts use a service discount onlineThen they wanted to only refund the parts, I feel this is a poor excuse for lack of due diligence to ensure the safety and security of their products especially those that the consumer invested more in the respect of quality over quantity

We would like to ask Mr*** to bring his online order number with him to the store (Order #***), and he will be provided the new battery

I will no longer choose to Advance Auto Parts for auto parts due to its poor quality and terrible customer service specially in its stores.
