*** about the issueShe advised that the main concern was the fact that one of our Team Members was very rude and refused to do the Alternator Test and advised we do not offer that any longer, which we do still test for customer*** advised that General Manger ** had helped her a great deal and that a new Alternator was being put in by a garage due to that part having failedI offered a $gift card which *** on behalf of Mr*** graciously acceptedI followed up and spoke with General Manager ** who is working with the rude Team Member to make sure this does not take place again.Our promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products when you need themThank you for allowing us to respond

Although you were kind enough to include your current warranty, that is not to say that that is the same wording as it was in 2013, my complaint is not so much about your policy now, although the wording on the online ad states that the brake pads that you list as limited lifetime, in actuality only have a day warranty, you would be better off purchasing the year warranted brake pads where you actually get a year, and they are cheaperMy main complaint is that in the past you did indeed replace them when they wore out, I had the receipt, and the warranty should have been honored, it was notThe good news for me, is that Advance is not the only auto parts store around, and seeing as I have older vehicles and will need plenty of parts for them, well I have other sources to get my parts, I know that will still honor the warranty as it was, and I'm sure they will be glad to get my businessOh, and by the way, I talked to your customer service, I know that the new policy only started months ago, so yes, my brake pads should have been replaced, but it's your loss

The district manager over the store, ***, has reached out stating that he spoke with the customer and advised to have the item's brought into the storeHe let the customer know, if the item's are used they would be unable to issue a refund, but if the item's are unused and in like new condition, the store would refund the customerWe now consider this resolved as the customer has spoken with the district manager on the situation and has been offered a resolutionOur promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products when you need themThank you for allowing us to respond

I am not satisfied with the offerFor one, as I previously stated, I have purchased the part from another storeSecondly, the store manager was rude, immediately defensive and unprofessionalBut, needless to say, this company is unprofessional and lacking in making reasonable efforts to resolve a conflict that should have been handled or resolved at the storeNow they are being difficult over a refund amount to approximately $Really? ***We do not believe that this issue was done intentionally because all the items that came directly from Advance Auto Parts were cancelled at the time of the first phone callThe additional items came directly from the manufacturer of the product and require multiple points of contactA specialized team who works directly with the manufacturers has to be advised of the issue and then they contact the manufacturer to stop the shipment from going outUnfortunately if an order is attempted to be cancelled it does potentially take up to 1-business days to stop the shipment and if the manufacturer ships their parts out quickly then it could be too late to cancelMr*** will be able to ship the parts back or drop off at a store location for a faster refund for the itemsWe will add a note on Mr***’s online order profile to discount his next order of his choice an additional $on top of other discounts he might use, but this will be online only and require a call to *** option option to make use of Our promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products when you need themWe sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and if we can further assist you please let us know

Voice Mails both times. He mentions a rebate being expired and our Rebates do have time restraints that need to be met, but we would be happy to assist with a Gift Card, which is how rebates are met, if we can have an opportunity to understand more about this issueThe online order # *** is only for rotors and was picked up on 6/7/2016, but brakes must also be purchased at the same time for the rebate to be acceptedMr*** does have an additional order that meets the time he mentioned and rebate possibility more closely which is order # ***This order appears that it should be available for a rebate and if not we are happy to assistThe rebates themselves are $per axle, which means per rotors and set of brake pads bought, with a $maximumAs mentioned we would appreciate any additional details we can be given as to how we can satisfy the customer would be greatly appreciated and we will look into our rebates to verify everything is fine once we get a response back to understand the issue betterOur promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products when you need themThank you for allowing us to respond
