Review: Nuplenish advertised on TV for a free trial offer, you would pay only for shipping. On December 25, 2015, I called to order the free sample for my husband, I understood that there was a 14 day trial period and after that they would charge my credit card $89+. While on the phone, we also took (what we thought) was advantage of another of their products. On Wednesday, January 6, 2016, (day 13) I called both toll free #'s to cancel both items and I was informed each time that the product was shipped and I could cancel and pay a reduced rate of $38+ and keep the product or return it. The first item, I cancelled w/o speaking to anyone and they charged me $38+ to cancel. The 2nd item, I spoke with a rep she told me that I could cancel at a reduced rate of $38+. I told her it was a free sample and we should not be charged anything. Furthermore, it was only day 13 so WHY were they shipping my husband a month supply before the free trial period was up and why were they going to charge my credit card when we wanted to cancel. The lady said they do not offer free trials and that the reduced cancellation rate was for the shipment sent out. The only thing sent to us was a sample, 2 items in a small padded envelope, not even the size of a piece of paper. I told her this was a scam, to charge people for free samples. At one point in the conversation she even said it was a free sample until I repeated to her that she said that. Then of course she continued to say it was not a free sample. She replied, if it was a scam, you would not be speaking with a person.

After going back and forth, she reduced the 2nd cancellation fee to $22+. However, I still got stuck with paying a total of $60+ to cancel free samples.

How unethical, to offer a free sample, send it half way through the 14 day trial period, then charge you to cancel.

The practices of this company should be illegal.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my $60+ back since I did cancel within the 14 day free trial period.

Review: Seen ad on Facebook decided to give it a try for only $4.95 shipping & handling. After I placed the order I seen where it was rated F by Revdex.com and I immediately cancelled the order and I also followed up with a phone call to customer service. After giving me the run around about canceling the order I was told the payment would be drafted on Sept. 8 2015. I stressed to him I DID NOT want this drafted because the order was cancell and DO NOT ship anything because I was not returning it. Was assured account would not be touched and nothing shipped. As of today Sept. 5, 2015 a total of $49.61 has been drafted. I followed with a second phone after I saw my bank acct. and was told it was shipped compliments only no need to return and money would be directed back into my account. At this point I don't trust anything this company says. I would like the amount of $49.61 returned to my account immediately.Desired Settlement: Money returned to account.

Hello.

Review: Nuplenish advertised online that for a free trial offer, you would pay only for shipping. There were no particular warnings or target dates mentioned. The site did not work well and asked for my information twice. Upon receiving the product, there were no directions on how to use it, and no target dates or explanation that I had only 14 days to try the product before they would automatically charge me $89+ on my credit card, or automatically keep shipping the product. There was no information in the product to explain how to cancel the trials or refund the money or the product...no phone number or address, and no date by which one would have to cancel to avoid further charges. On my credit card bill, there was this $89+ charge with no information. I called the number there and found that I would have had to cancel the order right after I received the product to avoid this extra charge for a "free trial product." The customer service lady said there were "terms and conditions" in the fine print that spelled out the plan. She said that I only had the 14 day free trial, and then I was charged for the whole product, though nothing on the product explained this.. I told her that I did not want the product, that I would never have ordered ANYTHING cosmetic that cost $85. I told her I didn't like the product, would return it, and I wanted my money back. She said there were no refunds because the "terms and conditions" stated I would be charged and continue receiving the product if I didn't cancel in that deadline that was not defined. Since the so-called "terms and conditions" were not in any way obvious or stressed anywhere in the order blank I filled out, I do not feel I should be charged for something I did not want. This whole advertising scam, collection scam, and misleading advertising with no directions on how or when to cancel your "free trial," should be exposed and people warned. I would like my money back, since it came without notice in order blank or package.Desired Settlement: I would like my $89 refunded, and this company required to use more transparent advertising and billing. If you have to cancel it within fourteen days to avoid further charges on a "free trial," then that fact should be clearly visible on both the order blank AND on the packaging when the product arrives. The customer service lady kept repeating, "terms and conditions" again and again, with no explanation as to why they weren't in plain sight on the order blank. This company is just counting on your not knowing you have to cancel, so they can keep charging your credit card. It's a scam, pure and simple, and Nuplenish should be blacklisted or something like that.

We understand the customer frustrations and have responded to the complaint by

providing a full refund of $89.95 on 11/18/2015. Please allow up to 10

the customer service department to return the product and they will then

receive a refund. Nevertheless, the customer account has been cancelled

and will no longer be receiving anymore products or be charged. It was stated

is over. If the customer fails to cancel their account, they will be charged

Review: I ordered a "Free Trial," from Nuplenish for a $5.95 shipping and handling fee. The advertisement said, "Free Trial," no further obligation. Yet, when I still have not received my product, I checked my credit card statement online only to discover to my horror that my free trial cost $175.90. $89.95 for the facial cream, and $85.95 for the eye cream. No where on their website does it say there will be any further charges past the Free trial for $5.95 shipping and handling but, the worse part came when I called them today, they stated they could only refund 15% of the purchase price, I told them I didn't purchase anything, I ordered a free trial which I still have not received in the mail. They insist that it was delivered to my address, my mail carrier informed me that he has not placed any packages in my mailbox in the last 17 days. They told me then after I became angry that they could then refund 25% of the purchase price. These guys are con artists and RIP OFF's. I just want the money refunded to my credit card that I never agreed for them to charge me for, I only agreed to $5.95 for shipping and handling of a supposedly free trial product. These people need to be stopped before they RIP anyone else off. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission as well. Someone needs to stand up to these cyber bullies. Thank you!Desired Settlement: I just want them to refund my credit card the $89.95 for the face cream, and the $85.95 for the eye cream that I DID NOT ORDER. My "free trial product has never been delivered either as they claim, so I just want my $175.90 refunded to me without any further issue. Thank you!

Hello,

Review: They are making it extremely difficult to receive money back from them. They have a pamphlet that has a 30 day risk free money back guarantee promise. They are asking for the empty bottles to be returned even though nowhere does it state that this has to be done. Also I am responsible for the shipping cost. (This came after many offers of reducing the amount owed to them by 15%, then 50%) What happened to the 100% money back guarantee? Money will not be returned to my checking account until product has been returned to them. WHAT A SCAMDesired Settlement: Money owed for products and shipping cost

Review: I saw an ad on TV that offered a free sample of a "bag" reducing cream Eye Serum. The ad stated all I had to do was pay postage and handling of $4.95. I proceeded to order the cream and then they included a skin cream for $5.95. I gave them my credit card number and went on to something else.

Evidently hidden in the ad was a provision that I had to join a subscription plan in order to get the freebies if I didn't notify them in 15 days. I ordered on 12-24 and cancelled on 1-06 thru my credit card company after I saw charges of $85.95 for the eye cream and $89.95 for the skin cream. On January 18 I received emails saying ongoing and future charges have been cancelled. What do I want the company to do;

I want my credit card account corrected by $85.95 and $89.95. I have never even received the product other than the freebies.

I consider the companies action to be fraudulent and unethical . Thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: Reverse the charges on my credit card account in the amount of $85.95 and $89.9t5.

Hello,

Review: When I used the nuPlenish eye wrinkle reducer product it caused my eye to swell, become red/irritated, burn and water for 24hours. I reported this to the customer service dept and asked to cancel my account because of this reaction to the product. They said they would but I would be charged another $38 for the product. I refused to pay this amount as there was no mention of it in their initial internet "trial offer" which charged only S&H cost of $10.90 total. They continued to insist that the $38 would be charged. In my opinion, not only are this company's products harmful, but they fail to give the customer a full disclosure of total, unrevealed further costs/charges.Desired Settlement: That nuPlenish will revise their 'trial offer' claims of only S&H charges and reveal the presently undisclosed continuing charges in all of their advertising, especially the internet ad. In addition, I want no further contact from them either by phone, mail or email or any other form of communication.

Hello,

Review: I ordered a free sample from NuPlenish. I received a charge for 91.90 on my credit card. Contacted them regarding the charge. They said that in the fine print I had to cancel the transaction within 14 days or would be charged for an entire 30 day supply. Their disclaimer was not clear to me and it seems that this was a misrepresentation of their free trial offer. I have read other similar complaints regarding this offer on line. I have never used the internet for any order in my life. This was the first time. I would appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Thank YouDesired Settlement: I would like NuPlenish to refund the $91.90 to my credit card asap. I have read the same complaint regarding this company on your web page and hope for the same outcome.

Hello,

Review: I contacted the company after I noticed I was being charged $175.90 for products that were ordered as a "14 day trial offer". First, I only received one product last week which the company acknowledged. When I called to ask why I was being charged, they informed me that the 14 day trial began the day they mailed the product! How is that legal? I only received the product days ago and called immediately because the product caused my skin to break out in a rash and I wanted a full refund for the unauthorized charges on my credit card. They also claimed that two products were mailed to me which is false. They refused to refund my money. How can a 14 day trial period begin before receiving the product? This is false advertising and I feel this company is taking advantage of consumers!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $175.90. I even offered to ship the product back at my own expense. They refused to let me speak with a manager about this.

Response:

Hello,

Review: I ordered the product on May 23, 2015 based on a no cost trial period where I paid only $1.95 shipping. Product received May 29, 2015 - 6 days from date of order (shipped on same day as ordered). 14-day trial period which I disputed (I do not recall reading it was a 14-day trial). On June 6, 2015 $89.95 deducted from my bank account for subscription of NuPlenish Skin, anti-aging cream. I contacted customer service at 888-617-6458 to request a refund. I was told that I had passed the 14-day trial period so was not eligible for a refund. I requested to speak with a supervisor. No supervisor was available to speak with me and I was offered a small refund. I requested a refund of 100%. This scenerio happened several times with a final offer of a 75% refund, each request ending with my request to speak with a supervisor. I was told that one would call me back. Distrustful that anyone would call me back I contacted the email customer service support asking how even if it really was a 14-day trial, how could June 6 be the end of my 14-day trial? Product received on May 29, 2015 which should be the start date of the 14-day trial. To be charged on June 6 the start date, according to their math, began on the date of shipment which was May 23, 2015. I also sent snail-mail letters with my complaint and question and requesting a full refund to both addresses listed on their website (POBox 25389 Santa Ana CA 92799 and 2321 E 4th St. Ste C114, Tustin CA 92705). Both letters were placed into the mailbox on June 6, 2015.That evening's mail delivered an envelope with a shipment of the NuPlenish Skin. The trial order took 6 days to arrive at my home. So, in order to receive this first subscription it had to have shipped 6 days previously which would have been May 31, 2015. By my calculations, this means that I really had only 3 days to try this product (May 29 to May 31). Their email response is that it was a 14-day trial period and I was not eligible for a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like 1) a full refund of $89.95, and 2) they need to state very clearly on ALL of their documentation and online ads that the trial period begins on the date of order and that the subscription item will be mailed out to be received on the the 14th day from the date of order.

Review: Ordered the product on June 28, 2015 Nu Plenish Skin Cream & Nu Plenish Eye Serum both of of them as free cost trial period where I SHOULD BE PAYING only $4.95 shipping on each of them.

Product received w/ a 14-day trial period which I disputed. On June 28, 2015 $89.95 deducted from my bank account for subscription of NuPlenish Skin, anti-aging cream. & $ 85.95 for the NuPlenish Eye Serum

I contacted customer service at [redacted] July 19.2015 to request a refund. I was told that I had passed the 14-day trial period so was not eligible for a refund. I thought it was a 30-day trial but even if truly a 14-day trial.

I requested to speak with a manager. No manager was not available to speak with me and I was offered a small refund 15 % of the first & 25 % off the second one.

Order Notification [redacted]

The product is a small tiny Trial Size 0.5 oz. on both off them that I was able to use only for one application ( half full) day for the Skin Cream jar (body) I was able to use only for one application (half full) not enough for 14 days trial

The Eye Serum was able to use for 4 days. Not able to see how much was in there.

Sadly enough to say, neither product as advertised do what they say. On the website it states you should see a instant difference in one application of both product's. It sure is not my case.

Have told the Customer Service, how can you have a trial size for 14 days when there is not enough Cream ( product) to use for 14 days.

I asked the costumer service how big in oz. are the full size product for re-order and have been

told they are also 0.5 oz.

What a rip off.

I am very, very disapointed how this product has been advertised on Facebook, now I am getting new add's on Facebook w/ the same product just a different label nameDesired Settlement: Full refund,

Product is not working as they advertise.

The jar size 0.5 ml for $ 89.95 one application for your body is a rip off.

Review: I ordered face cream from the afore mentioned company for$4.95. With a 14 day return policy or I would be charge full price of $86.95 There was no return address in the package. I had to wait until I got my bank statement to get their phone number to call and see where to send it. No response. I called numerous times. the 14 days went by and I was charged said amount.. Finally I was able to talk to a customer service agent. They refunded my money and told me to return the product. I told them I would return it when my bank showed the refund. I then called to get the address. The automated system said my account was closed. I opted for customer service. I was told I had the wrong company and they would not give me an address. However, if they did not receive product I would be charged again, for the full, price of the product. This caused Two overdraft fees in my account equalling $72 dollars.Desired Settlement: I would like the $72 dollars that accrued due to their charges. Which I feel were unauthorized

Review: On 10/6/2015 I saw an ad offering a free sample of their skin cream for only a $1 shipping fee. The companion eye cream was offered for a shipping fee of $5.95. Unfortunately I responded to the offer with a credit card.

On 10/22/2015 I reviewed my credit card activities on-line (had not yet received a statement) and saw that I had been charged an additional $89.95 for the skin cream and $85.95 for the eye cream. I immediately called customer service and, after much unpleasant discussion, was told my account would be closed and the charges refunded to my credit card. The $85.95 charge for the eye cream was immediately refunded; however, the $89.95 for the skin cream was not. Yesterday (11/9/2015) I received a box labeled "NuPlenish Skin Cream". I do not want this product, I want the account closed, and I do want $89.95 refunded to my credit card!Desired Settlement: 1) Refund the $89.95 charge for skin cream.

2) Close my account so this does not happen again.

Review: The skincare and eye serum were offered on Facebook for a total of $10.90. That amount was deducted from my [redacted] account. But later I was charged $38.71 w/out my knowing. When I called the company they said I had not unsubscribed from receiving more products. I was unaware of this being shown to me when I ordered the two products. When I called them, they agreed to refund the $38.71 if I returned both products. I have not returned the products because I was charged for them and accept the responsibility of paying the $10.90, but not the $38.71.The way I see it: They need to refund that amt. to my [redacted].Desired Settlement: Refund $38.71 to my present [redacted] account.

Hello,

Review: The eye cream and anti aging cream were advertised as "pay shipping only" if you cancel before 14 days. I received the products, and when I opened the anti ageing cream (because the product isnt clearly marked for which way to open), the entire product spilled onto the counter. I called within my 14 days to cancel and could not cancel for only the shipping and handling as advertised, but for $40 ish dollars, half the price. I explained that wasn't the advertisement. I had to call two separate numbers for the two products, although they came as one, and there was not a supervisor at either location. I was given a 6 digit return number for one product and a 16 digit number for the other. I am now paying shipping and handling to return a product that was ruined in the packaging process. This company is stealing money from consumers all because they fraudulently advertise.Desired Settlement: Refund my money for shipping and handling to and from the company. Change the advertising rules so that people are paying $180.00 for two products that aren't worth a dime, and stop making the return policy so ridiculously hard!!

Hello,

Review: I ordered the sample online and never received it. My credit card was billed for the original and the next months order. When I called the company they said I had to take the tracking number to the post office to find the order. I did this and they found the second shipment but not the first one (which was confirmed by matching the tracking numbers the company gave me). I don't want the product, never had the chance to even try the product before I was charged and I am told now that I can't send the second shipment back for a refund for the second month's charges on my credit card. My account was canceled because I told them that I didn't want anymore auto shipment's since I hadn't received any product and they tell me that since it is canceled they can't do anything for me. I have the box that the second shipment was sent in completely unopened. I would like to receive a full refund but they say since I can't locate the original order they can't do anything.Desired Settlement: Refund for at least the second shipment of product since first shipment was never received and trial period was not usable.

Review: I ordered these products 12/29/2015. I was charged $85.90 several days later. I understood that I had not read all the fine print. I called the number and "pressed 1 to cancel" . Today I have 2 new charges of $94.90 and $91.90. I called and was offered an unacceptable refund of $13.29. I want the full amount that was taken out today, I have received no additional products. I realize they are a call factory and have no authority, but none the less, I want my money back and this scam STOPPED.Desired Settlement: My money returned, my account cancelled forever!

Response:

Hello,

I am not hating the product so much, not that I have a lot of time using it, but the scam they follow to get you a free sample is ridiculous. They start a 14 day trial the day you call in for the product to be shipped, and auto enroll you in their monthly renewals. I was then charged for not calling 2 days earlier (mind you I didn't think shipping time counted against my trial period) to cancel. Almost $200 charged to my account for their false advertisement. I was able to push for a 50% refund (I probably could have gotten more had I been more patient) though and encourage you to as well if you find yourself in the same boat. I have stopped further payments and shipments, but this was a learning lesson for me!

Review: I thought I was getting a "sample" product for $4.95 and a different sample for $5.95. I knew I had to cancel; but (my mistake) it wasn't in 30 days, it was in 14 days; but I did cancel. You can only cancel by phone and I did get a cancellation #, so I thought all was well. Come to find out this month(Dec) upon receiving one item from NuPlenish that they still have me on as a customer. They said I didn't cancel the other item; but I was billed for everything on one invoice for the $10.90 when I printed out the invoice for the records on my Discover card. Why would I think I had to call 2 different places when I ordered from one place???? Plus there was only the one telephone # on the sheet I printed out. I emailed them and they returned the email stating I needed to CALL customer service. I called customer service and was given the run-around about how it's too late to refund my money......Please advise what I can do about this unscrupulous company, it is an expensive (over $250)lesson for someone on a fixed income. Later, they also said since I didn't cancel before the 14 days I had to pay the $85.95 and $89.95 for the "original product".....they were not samples at all......and there was no information inside the "samples" when I received them. Thanks for listening. Connie ArmstrongDesired Settlement: They should credit my Discover card with at least the $91.90 from december, 2015 in which I had a cancelled account # as of Dec 8th ;but they billed me on Dec 24,2015 anyway

I also did not receive the merchandise from November which they billed $85.95 and $89.95.

the customer service department to return the product and they will then

receive a refund. Nevertheless, the customer account has been cancelled

and will no longer be receiving anymore products or be charged. It was stated

in the terms and conditions every customer agrees to before proceeding to check

out. The customer must call in and cancel their account before the 14 day trial

is over. If the customer fails to cancel their account, they will be charged

for the trial product and be subscribed onto our monthly subscription. Sincerely, Nuplenish

Review: I clicked on an online pop-up ads about NuPlenish cream free sample, just pay $4.95 for shipping & handling. First the site immediate wants my address "where the 14-day supply trial be sent to." After I entered my name and address, the site asked for payment (I took a screen shot). After I entered my credit card information, it then offered NuPlenish Eye cream sample with a shipping & handling of $5.95. I didn't want any eye cream because I just wanted to try one product at a time. However, there was no decline or exit option. Then when I clicked outside of the select button, it automatically completed the order for me. Today I found out that there were two additional charges ($89.95 & $85.95) to my credit card account on 6/15/15. I called two separate numbers (888-415-5730 & 888-391-0458) listed on my credit card statement, I was hung up for the first time. I called again asking about the charges and requested to correct the charges. I was told that I the trial was a 14-day supplies and I have enrolled in the automatically monthly-supplies purchase. The charge on 6/15/15 was for monthly supply, and NuPlenish Eye agreed to issue a refund. However, the representative for NuPlenish Skin refused to any refund. First of all the ads was "free sample, 14-day supply trial" and "no commitment." There was no other indication. When the site become inappropriate and more suspicious to me, I took a screen shot. Also before I entered my payment, the site indicated that my trial will be shipped the next day, but later changed to 5-7 days after I paid for the shipping & handling fees. In addition, I didn't receive the product until 10 days later. None of its statement is true. Second, the additional charge of $175.90 ($85.95 & $89.95) was never presented to me. This is improperly way of doing business. In fact, it is a scam. I never agreed to the additional charges. I am asking for help in stopping this kind of scramming business and preventing more victims of this scam. Thank you.Desired Settlement: The additional charges of $85.95 and $89.95 were never presented to me. Therefore, I never agreed to those charges, which information is required in a valid contract. Also the one of the representatives told me the charges on 6/15/15 were for the monthly supplies, which I never received. I am requesting for the total refund of $175.90.
