A little over a week ago I signed up for the Nutrisystem programIt was suggested that a new customer should start with the basic program, which I didThe food received was not good & I did not care for any of itI contacted them to cancel and was told that I would have to pay a $cancelation feeI do not think that this is a fair practice at allYou should be able to cancel any future orders of something you don't like and NOT be charged for itBAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!

I believe this is a completely trustworthy companyWith all the support and healthy food that they offer, I know my husband and I will reach our weight goals, and will be better able to enjoy our retirement with friends and family, including grandchildren:) I have been depressed regarding our weight; now we are losing and I have hope again! Nutrisystem is a ripoff Their customer service is terrible alsoLong holds over an hour IN I did the program and had great results The food was great Last month I decided to do it again and the food was terrible Looked like the Completes you buy at W***t The customer service rep Marie refused to give me a refund because I was a few days past the two week mark They did not take into consideration I received the food in two shipments and could not start until March At this date I am on the program days I asked for a supervisor, went on hold minutes and they were maybe hoping I would hang up I waited and the same rep came back telling me no supervisor was available They offered not to charge me the $dollar cancelling fee!!!! They then told me I had to mail back the food at my expense Clearly, mis-representing their so called money back guarantee Can't believe how awful they and wouldn't even consider what I was saying I am a writer for a major publication and I am going to do a piece on this company and how terrible they are I welcome anyone having a similar experience to contact me and share your story for my piece My only recourse was to dispute with my bank Please tell everyone you know to stay away from this ripoff company They have somehow changed in very big ways since

I began the Nutrisystem program in March of with lbs to lose I began with the regular plan but upgraded so I could choose any shelf stable foods I lost weight but got bored with the foods so upgraded so I could have frozen foods for each meal per month This really helped and eventually I upgraded to the Uniquely Yours planAfter losing the weight I ordered food every 3-months (you have to call to put it off that long but they always did it without any problems) I continued to maintain and added more home cooked foods to my days This has worked for me and using the portion sizes and eating patterns I learned on NS I am still maintaining without any problems I also now love to workout which helpsAs for complaints about the autodelivery, it was very clear when I signed up so I am not sure how people didn't understand that they were getting a discount to commit to two orders If you aren't sure you will stick with it, start with the QVC or Walmart box to see if you like the food then commit to the plan through NS if you think you can

I had [redacted] 's call reviewed from October 22, [redacted] called in to cancel because it did not work for her [redacted] stated that there too many carbs and she went over the meal planner with weight loss counselor [redacted] agreed to continue following the planner correctly this timeAt no time did [redacted] mention that her frozen order, delivered on 9/30/16, was melted or damaged in any way As previously stated, Nutrisystem will reimburse [redacted] for the ready to go foods upon receipt, waive the chargeback fee for auto-delivery and waive the return label fee only Due to the perishable nature of frozen foods, they are non-returnable and non-refundable.I wish [redacted] continued success with her weight loss goals

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Nutrisystem has the facts incorrect I signed up with the promotion to receive "weeks of food for free" along with $off and the Turbo Found out LATER that the weeks of food comes one week free per monthly order, not all at once I am still using the program, and have a lot of food from the my first orders, but will be purchasing the rest from Walmart, where it is cheaper and better selection The commercial states "weight loss counseling." Also found out later that no counselors or phone representatives were allowed to talk to me about how to use the program, if I could take vitamins, fiber supplements....because I only had the basic plan Everytime I had a question I was asked to upgrade (pay more money) The only way that I found that I was getting an order/had questions answered was by phone reps who stated, "i'm not supposed to be doing this, but I will" They even gave me an extension to call, but they were usually not there when I called to checked on the order or had internet problems or basic questions The main number, Sales, usually worked, so I would call that at a last resort If not, I was on hold for up to minutes per call, one evening minutes and always referred to different numbers (calls at a time.) Still have the chat transcripts that seemed to always refer me to another number, if you would like to see them I hope Nutrisystem will use this information to improve their customer service or care that customers are inconvenienced by this.Because the Basic Plan seemed to give me lots of the same food, by the time I was ready for my 3rd order (which I was to receive the last of my free week of food)...I had pizzas I'm down to as of last night They are good, but some food I gave to the food bank, so customizing was very important to me.In the beginning of March, I paid $extra to customize for my 3rd order When I went to select my food, my last week of free food disappeared from my order I was able to customize at this time, but my last week of food was gone and I was trying to see that appear back on my order list, so I chatted, called and got no where I tried to fix it myself or told one of the reps to change it back to BASIC, non-customizing...hoping it would reappear It didn't but the $charge stayed on their Finally this same girl told me to give her hours and that "the food will probably just ship" but she could not send this confirmation to me via email Since my other orders had this same list sent as the packing slip, I was pretty sure I wasn't going to see it So, no receipt and they have my credit card number (??) I was uncomfortable with just trusting someone on the phone went to Revdex.com and Consumer Affairs Several chats and phone calls (at least 5) and days later, I got through to Nutrisystems through Consumer Affairs Nutrisystems was still UNABLE to add the food back to my order online (which to me would be a huge problem for them and they should correct that for other customers) - so the repfrom Nutrisystems made a special order for me and sent the food separately Got it and was ready to order my 3rd shipment customized I had meal replacement bars at this time and wasn't going to stick to that on a diet...but I did like some of the food and was ready to keep going with the program with the food I wanted...from them I also ordered and paid separately for some frozen foods which I was also thinking of ordering again from them So, 3/9/I emailed the rep (Allison D [redacted] - HELPFUL***KEEP HER NUTRISYSTEMS***) who made everything right and told her thanks for the food and I was going to pay $and try to customize I paid the $to customize but the customize page was broken and I couldn't use it My browser? maybe, but I tried different browers e explorer and firefox, and even at another computer I chatted and the rep said nothing was wrong on their end, then was referred to another number where a rep said that something MAY be wrong because she needed to handselect the customized food items over the phone with another woman (***? I don't even know what's on the menu...I just know I have plenty of Pizza) and then asked to cancel My 3rd rep at Nutrisystem allowed me to cancel autodelivery with cancellation number [redacted] I explained to him, who was very efficient and nice, as I will to you....It shouldn't be this difficult to do business with anyone And I do not like having my credit card number out to people who can auto-deliver and charge when they want, but that was the only way to sign up over the phone I am hoping I will not be charged this coming month because of their lack of internal communication, a bit nervous about that still I'm not sure of the dates, except my last phone call, because I wanted you to know Allison D [redacted] who helped me I had hope at that point There is food that I like on your program, but being able to call one number and get that food would be great Can't stand the "sales" "upgrade" push Nutrisystems are probably correct when they did things, but when I was trying to contact them it was probably about to days before they were able to get those things done - and at least to attempts to contact someone there who was permitted to answer questions from a lowly "Basic Plan" customer.Regards, [redacted]
