My company's customer purchased product/ service but did not receive anything. When we called the company I spoke with Bryan who says he is the owner. Bryan said that department shut down and he could not refund money. He said he could not write refund check or pay from another department in his company. He all but admitted he stole our customer's money and did not offer any resolution other than to file a chargeback request with our bank. He was VERY unfriendly, unhelpful and did not care that he took our customer's money and didn't provide any product/service for it. He refused to talk with me any longer and when he spoke with our customer he said he could not and would not do anything about the fact that our customer paid him over $130.00 and got nothing in return since he shut that department down.

I did call discount auto protection and they refused to honor my request and referred me to you. That is what prompted the complaint. One of your reps contacted me and said they will look into it and have not heard anything since.

Dear Ms. [redacted]:

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Discount Auto Protection called and told me that the policy is cancelled but needed a notary approved letter of my odometer reading. I sent that off via regular mail and I still see my policy as not canceled on their web portal.
DQ

This company charged my credircard and denied returning me my payment after being canceled due to a mileage diacrepecy

This so-called extended vehicle warranty service is a sham. The woman I personally dealt with assured me all [redacted] dealerships honor this warranty. Funny because my [redacted] dealership never heard of it. I have tried, since mid-October of 2016 to cancel this policy 6 times, maybe even more than that. They never answer the phone or reply to emails but by golly they sure mail you notices constantly. Because of their apparent shady business practices, I ended up closing my checking account and had to open a new one. I am sure money would have been taken out of it even though I cancelled the contract. I do not understand HOW Revdex.com can give them any accreditation! Look at the reviews for Lord's sake! They need investigated pronto and those of us that have had dealings with them need reimbursed for the stress they have put us all through. Revdex.com do the right thing and have this so-called A+ business investigated and remove them from your accreditation.

RE: Revdex.com CASE#: XXXXXXXX
In response to assertions of OMNISURE GROUP by [redacted] in the above reference matter, I dispute the following:
Ms. [redacted] from OMNISURE assumes incorrectly, that Service contract was "sold" to Ms. [redacted]. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. The basic requirement to the formation of any contract, be it oral or written, that there has to be a mutual assent or a "meeting of the minds" of the parties on all proposed terms and essential elements of the contract. It has been held by the courts that there can be no contract unless all the parties involved intended to enter into one. This intent is determined by the outward actions or actual words of the parties and not just their secret intentions or desires.
I Mrs. [redacted] declare under oath That I NEVER been in contact nor give my authorization verbally or in writing to OMNISURE or its Proxies to bill my credit card or assent to a contract.
OMNISURE must take responsibility of their actions by investigating bogus contracts issued by their AKA Companies or their Proxies before they sent "NOTICES OF ACCEPTANCE" of illegal nonexistent contracts.
REQUEST TO THE Revdex.com
Dear Ms. [redacted]
As you can see by their response of OMNISURE, it is clear and by their own admission that they are trying to shift the blame to their affiliates or frontage companies. They are the ones illegally billing my credit card.
We understand that they are paying members of the Revdex.com but this is not a justification to transgress the Law by trying to enforce illegal nonexistent contracts.
To settle this complaint, I am asking that "OMNISURE" will promise in writing that no future billings or charges to my credit card will occur.
Thank you for your consideration.
[redacted]
NOTE: As of today, no refund to my credit card in the amount of $395 has occurred as misstated by Ms. [redacted] from "OMNISURE."

I would like to have it charged monthly to a credit card or have it deducted electronically from my checking account. I do not want to pay any fee when I make my payments. I don't want to make a negative comment but until this is resolved I feel must.

According to them I authorized direct payments dated X-XXXX, that is a lie. I put a stop payment on this on at the end of june, 2014 all authorization was revoked as june 18th, 2014. I was informed by omnisure that there was a computer glitch and that is why supposedly a payment nonauthorized was taken from my account after being informed no more payments would be coming out. Dear Ms. [redacted]:
This letter is in response to the complaint submitted by Mr. [redacted], Revdex.com Case #...

XXXXXXXX.
Omnisure Group, LLC ("Omnisure") is the payment plan provider for the vehicle service contract sold to Mr. [redacted] by [redacted] As the payment plan provider, we handle the billing and collection of the monthly payments on behalf of [redacted] All monthly statements, invoices and notices are automatically computer generated in a timely fashion in compliance with any and all state and federal requirements.
Our records indicate that Mr. [redacted]' account cancelled for nonpayment of the March and April monthly payments. Mr. [redacted] authorized recurring monthly payments at the point of sale. In February 2014, Mr. [redacted]' monthly payment was not made despite multiple unsuccessful attempts by Omnisure. As a result, the computer automatically generated a notice in February of the declined February payment. The notice of declined payment was sent in order to give Mr. [redacted] the opportunity to make the February payment and avoid cancellation. In March, Mr. [redacted] successfully paid the February monthly payment, but the March payment was still outstanding triggering additional notices to be sent to Mr. [redacted] for the month of March. Since the March payment was never received, the account cancelled for non-payment.
Additionally, Omnisure received only one phone call from Mr. [redacted] with regards to his late payments. However, by the time Mr. [redacted] contacted Omnisure in April, his account was 2 months past due and had already cancelled for non-payment in accordance to the notices.
Should you have any questions concerning the above, or if we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/04/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This response did not address the issue of why the current statement mailed to me stated a current balance of one month's installment with no previous balance and a due date of April 2, 2014. When attempting to pay online the stated current amount due for April 2, 2014 printed on the statement on the printed due date the online status of the account indicated 'canceled'. This is what initiated my one and only call. Upon calling I was told the account was canceled the day before (April 1, 2014). When questioning why the current statement did not indicate a past due amount to be paid, and whether or not the statement was correct I was told I "should just move on from that". I do not believe it is a better business practice of a company to send out statements that have an incorrect amount due and then chastise the customer for asking whether the statement is correct. I have no problem providing the statement in question for all to view. It appears from the company's response, the desired resolution was not read. Otherwise this issue would have been addresed.

Omnisure's invoices, monthly statements, and notices are computer generated in a timely fashion in compliance with any and all state and federal requirements. The invoice contains a description of recent account activity. The recent account activity section of the invoice indicates if there is a past due payment from the previous month, such as for Mr. [redacted].
Sincerely,

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2014/04/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This again is incorrect. The invoice for the April installment indicated no past due balance on the "amount due if paid by" line. If an account is past due, the amount past due should be included with total amount due on the most recent statement. Not including this past due amount gives the customer an incorrect total amount due.
Including an unpaid past due balance on a most recent statement is common practice with most billing companies who do not seek to confuse their customers. Most individuals perceive the statement "total amount due if paid by" as meaning what it says, not "this is an estimated total amount due". Once again, the company needs to place a past due balance line on their statements to avoid this confusion for their customers. When the most recent communication through a billing statement indicates an amount due by a certain date, that is what customers expect to pay. This is what integrity in billing your customers would look like. I again have not disagreed with a past due balance, that was not my complaint from the beginning. My complaint dealt with the fact that a past due balance was not reflected in the most current invoice from the company, which in turn causes customers to be uncertain of the validity of the "amount due if paid by" listed on the invoice. As a consumer I feel integrity in how you bill your customers should be a priority for a company that exists for that purpose. I do not believe asking for an unpaid past due balance to be listed on a customer's most recent statement is out of line. I would like a response from the company to my true complaint and not their perceived complaint (that a past due balance was not owed).
Thank you.
