Overall my experience has been positiveI ran into one annoying problem when I paid off my loan a little earlyI had asked for a payoff quote but it had expired before I went to actually pay off the loanI couldn't find how to ask for another quote without calling inI sent the expired quote amount assuming I would owe a little more interestI procrastinated till my auto payment was due to be debited so I figured they would just take the $I owedNope, they took what was my full payment $from my checking accountThey show they owe me the money back but I am still waitingApparently they will be sending me a paper checkSpoke with my local rep and told me to give it a few more daysI gave it over a week and still nothingI emailed him again for helpHe as been helpful at least

I worked with this branch when it was Springleaf Financial, and frankly while they were Springleaf I had never had a problem contacting the branch via email or phoneI also never had any issues resolving a delay in our loan paymentThey were very flexible and we always managed to make it workIn fact I would HIGHLY recommend SpringleafWhen One Main financial tool over our branch, we were constantly getting run around, being told that certain things could be accomplished when they couldn't be and vice versaI despise working with One Main, and will NEVER work with them againWe've been contacted by our local offices when we've fallen behind, and then have Charleston offices also call us! I understand that the information is mutually shared through the computer systems, but how disrespectful! We were in contact with our branch when I lost my job, and they still called the Charleston branch to call us and see if they could get us to payI'm well aware I took the loan out, I'm also well aware that life happens! Springleaf was also aware of this and was always willing to work with us in any way they couldOnce my car loan is paid off, I promise that One Main will NEVER have our business again

I think OneMain is a great companyThere are a few things that could be easier if they would permit customers to do them via telephone rather than having to drive to a location Other companies allow you to change your loan due date over the phone, howevwe OneMain wants you to come in personally Sometimes that is not convenient to the customers They should reconsider their policy
