September 8, 2015This is to follow up our written response dated August 21, 2015 that was sent in reply to the original complaint from our Open Sky® Secured Card customer [redacted].
In order to comply with the Graham, Leach, Bliley Act (GLBA), Capital Bank, N.A. has contacted the consumer, again, directly in response to her complaint.
As you know, Capital Bank is concerned with [redacted]’s claims of fraudulent activity on her account. We responded directly to [redacted] via letter on August 21, 2015 and again today September 1, 2015 at the verified address. We are for a second time requesting her to complete the required affidavit of fraud and return it to us as soon as possible. We provided her with the affidavit and a postage paid envelope in our original reply dated August 21, 2015. We expressed directly to [redacted] that it is our desire to assist her and that we will contact her directly with the results of the investigation, but that it does indeed require the completed affidavit.
Perhaps [redacted] does not understand the role of the Revdex.com and therefore thinks it is not necessary to follow through with the affidavit. She has requested that we no longer contact her, but instead work through your organization. Our bank will not share private confidential information related to her account and realize your organization cannot provide a direct solution to her complaint. If you can please assist in getting her to return the completed affidavit using the postage paid envelope we provided, we will appreciate it and can proceed with an investigation.Should you have any additional questions, please contact me directly at ###-###-#### or via email at [redacted]@capitalbankmd.com.

I am rejecting this response because: No letter was received. Nothing was handled properly. Everything that was supposed to come in the mail looks like it went to the address that should have been updated. These people are complete jokes. What will happen is now that a "lead" is on the case after I already spoke to Maryland I will be contacting them via CERTIFIED MAIL and after that of this is still taken lightly I will have to take legal action.

Although i've waited 43 days she promised she was going to handle it and ship the card overnight and wave my annual first month fee. I would like to resolve the situtation as well. This company is misleading. You deposit your money for a secured credit card. They hold on to your money for days before issuing the card. After holding your money for about a week. They claim to have sent your card out. It has been ten days and I still havent recieved my card.

I made my last payment on this account and closed it nearly 3 years ago and today 08/10/15 I get a statement. It took me 9 calls to cancel because although the rep said it was cancelled it never was, so now I have to wonder is this account Open again? Victor at Open Sky states it was a glitch, If I had a Dime for every time this company had a glitch, they would owe me money.
So all I can do now is wonder, is it open or closed, like the last 7 months with this company in 2012 will I have to call many many more times to ensure they do the right thing? Sad state of affairs for US companies these days.
