In response to the customers inquiry, we did have a delay in repairing their frames but they finally came back and shipped to customer via [redacted] tracking #[redacted]

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. BECKY will tell you everything you want to hear to get you to place an order. I confirmed that my order was correct after it was place and have a screen shot. When calling customer service to alert them that the wrong item was sent... they told me a different order was placed, they changed it to a similar yet different item. Now they want to charge me to send the item back. The wrong item was sent intentionally by this company and then changed my order. I have an email from BECKY confirming the correct order. OPTICS FAST will make you feel like a fool. Don't do it.

Much like the other reviews I have just read about [redacted], I am in complete agreement with everyone's opinions, and had an absolute terrible experience. I had ordered glasses with prescription lenses from this company on 10/*/16. The evening of that same day, I was contacted via text and email to tell me the frame I ordered (which they only had 1 pair of) were damaged, and were unable to get another pair because they are discontinued. After an exchange of about 6 different e-mails with their company over the next day, offering a different pair of frames and me declining the offer, and asking for a refund because I was no longer interested in working with them, I finally contacted the company via phone to settle my dispute; it was IMPOSSIBLE to get the refund I was owed.
The customer service representative I spoke with was THE MOST unprofessional human being I've ever interacted with. To start off our conversation, as I began speaking, he answered another, personal phone call, without even putting me on hold, saying 'excuse me,' nor apologizing for doing so. I was told it was "my problem" they had already received the lenses that match my prescription but they didn't have a frame for, and I was also told that it's because I'm "a girl" that this is an issue to begin with. When further asking for a refund that I felt I was owed, I was also told that I'm bringing my emotions into the situation, and if I were a guy, I would take the replacement frames they offered me, and I wouldn't be sitting on the phone with him. During this conversation, the "f word" was used on multiple occasions, which was beyond unprofessional - as if I wasn't already offended enough. In an attempt to "smooth things over" and calm me down, the customer service representative also stated that if we knew each other, he'd be at my house (reciting my address, since he had it from my order), and we'd be hanging out, smoking a blunt together; and also went so far as to tell me that it must be difficult to be my boyfriend because I'm very hard to make up with. The further agitated I got with him/the situation, the more he threw around the fact that I was a girl and getting too emotional about it.
Finally, the representative agreed to cancel my order at a 20% service charge. Regrettably, I agreed, as I was so beyond frustrated at this point, I just wanted my money back and to get off the phone. They did credit my account for the full price of the frame they did not have, but was charged 20% of the price of the prescription lenses. When asked for a confirmation number and e-mail of this agreement, the customer service representative continued to treat the situation as a joke, asking me what he should make the confirmation number be, suggesting it as "69." And then he added "143" (I love you) to the number - therefore, my confirmation number was [redacted]. Along with this confirmation number/e-mail, he offered to send a photo of himself, and asked I do the same, because "now that we were best friends," we should be able to see each other. Thankfully, he never sent one.
As much as I did not want to be appreciative to him of working with me to provide some sort of a refund, I thanked him for doing so, to where he continued to go on and on about our new found "relationship"; I then hung up on him.
DO NOT EVER use this company! They are total scammers, are not willing to credit you the refund you are deserved, and furthermore are beyond unprofessional. This was the MOST AWFUL customer service experience I've ever dealt with.

Can I give no stars?
Horrible customer service! Sold me fake designer glasses.
False advertising as well. Promised me "100% brand new and Authentic and come to us direct from the manufacturer. Each item is packaged with a certificate of authenticity, protective case and dust cloth". All I got was the frames, and a generic case. Spoke with customer service and they said "There is no such thing as certificate of authenticity or dust cloths for Burberry glasses." Wow really? they have no professionalism when speaking with you. Ghetto store, don't use them. I am in the process of reporting them to the [redacted] for selling fake designer products.

Ordered glasses Rx and transitions worth $350. We received the glasses and it turned out to be sunglasses , not transitions and not Rx. There's even no case, just placed in a zip lock bag. E-mailed and spoke to them about the glasses, after complaining back and forth, and rude customer service, they agreed to fix the problem. After sending the glasses back, good thing I have a tracking number because they were denying that they received the glasses. After two months they returned the glasses and it was the same exact thing, nothing changed and now there are some scratches. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

It is no wonder this company has not been accredited by the Revdex.com. The company pulls scam after scam from initial mailing to return mailing. I mailed in a pair of glasses in early January. I specifically indicated that I wanted my nose bridge reattached to my lenses, and I wanted the ear piece comfort sleeves replaced. I had to pay two return shipping fees because I had asked for two things to be done. That should have been my first clue to cancel my order; but, I was not told this until they had already received my glasses. I authorized the work and paid slightly over $100 (two return postage fees included in total). At the time I felt ripped off because I had just a few months prior had my nose piece reattached for free by a Optician in SLC. Because I was 5 1/2 hours away at the time, I decided to pay the hefty charge just to get the repair done and over with. Their website says that the customer will be contacted with questions or concerns about the repair prior to the work being performed. I was not contacted, so I thought it was being done. Then just last week I received a text message asking me to call them. When I called customer service some guy came on line to tell me that they had to replace my lenses in order to make my glasses like new. He claimed there was a slight chip on one of the lenses, so they went ahead and ground new ones (prescription is approximately 18+ years old and I never, ever noticed a chip). He said I had to pay another $50 before they would send them back. I need them back to wear for improved distance vision at night and in low visibility enclosures. I explained that I had not authorized this repair prior to it being done. He said, "Well now your glasses will be totally brand new for only $150. I approved the ransom fee just so I could have my glasses back. When they arrived, the nose pads had come off (if they were ever put on), and there was no final invoice/statement indicating what had actually been done. When I emailed their Customer Service Department to express my displeasure with their service, the only response I received was a total lie. I was told the new lenses had to be made in order to attach the nose bridge. Excuse me. I had just recently had the same process done at no charge on the old lenses, so I knew I was being lied to. In summary: This company provides false advertising via their website; inflates their charges for simple repairs and return postage; performs unauthorized repairs and then holds the glasses hostage until the additional fee is paid; holds glasses for 9+ weeks before contacting the customer once the initial bill is paid; and lies about why additional services are performed. I would like the additional $50 refunded to me and any additional return postage fees charged for the return of the lenses as a third item. Fool me once; but you won't fool me again.

We shipped wrong color and correct color is here why not simple exchange to resolve issue?  Not sure why so many problem over simple.

Optics Fast advertised that there would be a quick turnaround because they have an on-site sunglass repair service. We shipped the sunglasses on July [redacted] and we received them "repaired" on August [redacted]. This took much longer than was we ever expected. Much more upsetting however, was that the lenses that were replaced are of a substantially inferior quality - unfortunately, quite noticeable! To add insult to injury, we were texted and emailed asking that we provide an unexpected and absolutely unwarranted tip as a "reward" for the salesperson. That absolutely pushed us over the edge. To receive text requests asking for more money? This operation is very sketchy and should be investigated by the Attorney General's Office. Something is very wrong and I am certain my experience is only the tip of the iceberg!

Since customer is not sending in there frames for service, this order has been cancelled

Below is a copy of an email I received from an employee of OpticsFast. Not only did they NOT fix my glasses, they reamed me for 16.00 in shipping for a set of frames that weighed less than 2 ozs. In all my years of doing business with all types of companies I never had a single one pander for a tip, unbelievable.

I sent my broken glasses to Optics Fast to have the hinge repaired. After almost a month they finally returned the glasses with the hinge still broken and just some globs of glue covering the ends of the 2 pieces where they should be attached (but were not). After speaking to the "customer service" reps they made it clear that they have no concern about the quality of the repairs that are done for them by a contracted out lab that is paid a flat rate per repair. Even though they showed that they are incapable of repairing the glasses properly they would not refund the cost of the repair attempt, let alone compensate for the additional damage to met glasses. They are either incompetent or crooks, possibly both.

Terrible Service. Sent glasses to be serviced (Needed a Pin for frame), didn't put the proper pin in, which promptly fell out. I asked if they would reset with the proper pin. Told me that they could do no more, but tried to SELL me new frames (Oakley). I tried to make them understand that if the proper pin was used, it would be corrected. Ignored for a week. sent another Email and they told me that they were billed by the lab and all they could do was offer a discount on the service. Had to get my money back from my credit card company.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I had to send my 2 pairs of sunglasses to this company twice.  The first time they sent me back both pairs still unrepaired.  I resent them again and only one pair came back repaired.   I am requesting a refund immediately!  I have been back and forth with them about this and do not understand why and how they can operate a business like this.   Clearly after the first return with broken glasses they should have just returned my money, instead out of good faith I sent them back expecting them to return both pairs of glasses repaired.   I only received one repaired.   This is fraud.   Please help.

While they have not responded to my complaint. My glasses did show up today. The tracking number for my order issued on October [redacted] shows nothing was shipped until October [redacted],and shipped fromLos Angeles. So who ever had my glasses must have been reluctant to forward anything, just as I was. I am going to forward the sunglasses they wrongfully sent me tomorrow.  I simply don't understand
how someone can make mistakes like this over, and over when they are trusted with expensive/important things like glasses.  None the less, I finally have mine back with hinges, and I am calling it resolved.

At this time, I have been contacted...

directly by Optics Fast Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Optics Fast posted a credit to my Visa account on 12/**/14 in the amount of $130.39. The amount they charged my credit card on 11/**/14 was $162.99. They provided no accounting for the difference (for the record, the item I purchased was never received, the company never provided an expected ship date when I followed up with them and I note that the item is no longer listed on their website). I am no longer communicating with the company, and I have filed a written claim with my credit card issuer under the Fair Credit Billing Act to recover the entire $162.99.
