I purchased glasses. Received them quickly so that's good. After inplaced the order in received an email saying my credit card was declined. I checked and I had already been charged. Scam #1. I emailed them about it and never received a response. They conveniently placed another glasses order in my shopping cart but I was smart enough not to use place a 2nd order. The glasses were uncomfortable. I asked for an RMA number and was told there was a 20% restocking fee. SUPER SCAM! DO NOT use this company!!!

Buyer beware. Stay as far away from this company as you possibly can. They literally stole my sunglasses: I prepaid for repairs and when they finally admitted they had "lost" the glasses (more than two months later), they refunded my service payment but patently refused any compensation for my $200 glasses they stole! I have no doubt this is a scam they've done before and intend to seek restitution however I need to, and will also alert the state's attorney general. But no one in their right mind should ever do business with this company. They are dangerously unscrupulous.

I have a hard time understanding how this company is still in business. They charged me for work that I did not request! I asked for my glasses back and then they got rude! I called to ask them why they charged me for an EMAIL! Becky (the customer service rep) stated that they had to charge me for the 4 emails I had sent them. Seriously? So I called the next day to get some answers and the manager began yelling at me saying that my question was, "not valid" and that I was "wasting their time." Which are quotes from their emails as well. The manager proceeded to hang up the phone on me and I hadn't even started yelling back. So I called back and selected a different department to talk to and the same person answered the phone. I would name her but she didn't give a name. Before I could even get my question in she continued to yell at me....I guess she knew who was calling....and threatened to sue me for harassment. After that she asked if she could write down my credit card information...WRITE DOWN my credit card information...no way in heck would I trust them with that information. I went to get a gift card from the store just to settle this crap.
DO NOT TRUST THEM! They do not know how to run a business and I have no idea how they are still in business. Maybe they are short handed and are so bad at what they do, that their employees are constantly stressed? I guess I would be upset to if I had to deal with mad customers all day..my tip, provide a quality service...maybe?

I have not heard any thing from them and have not received my...

glass's or been refunded my money! Why can't this company be shut down?

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

There is no confusion on my end. The business generated a return shipping label, did not send it to me, then told me I am required to pay for it. It is their responsibility since I never agreed nor confirmed that I would be using their services. I simply sent an inquiry. After seeing the vast amount of consumer complaints and their F rating with the Revdex.com, I decided to steer clear. The confusion lies with the business. I don't believe they understand what I expect from them. I owe them nothing. The harassment and threats to report me to the credit bureaus for $5 need to stop. I want all correspondence from the company to cease immediately. Thank you.

At this time, I have been...

contacted directly by Optics Fast Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because Optics Fast has not mailed me my 2 pairs of Sunglasses nor have they credited my account for the sunglasses.  They are giving the same answers as always "Lab is behind".  It's a scam company and they need to be shut down and give customers their money back.

The emails keep coming. The person's name on the email is [redacted]. If I happen to respond to her email I get what I assume is a canned response "[redacted]" or "[redacted]" or something along those lines. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

[Your Answer Here]
Dear Sir or Madam,  I received a call yesterday 3/**/16 at 7:54 pm from a collection agency representing Optics Fast and calling from an unidentifiable number of +1 0000000000.  The person who called said that now I owe not only $5.49 for the label I am not going to use, but also a $50 penalty for having 'slandered' the company. He said that they have attached the charges to my credit record.  This obviously does not coincide with what your contact at the company said above.
Please note that shipping was said to be free for using this service, but upon having made clear to Dino (Customer Service) on 3/**/16 that I had taken my business elsewhere because the process on the website was confusing, his colleague Becky of customer service got involved.  Why confusing she asked?  I explained that after inputting my information, an invoice for the transaction came up with a charge of $0.00. Obviously, something is wrong with that and the other provider I used was able to give me a good estimate of the repair.
Becky wrote:  ' ....  [redacted]
I responded that I am quite well educated and was uncomfortable with the process and on back of their behavior towards me at that juncture I would never give them a credit card or pay them $5.49 or anything else for what was supposed to be 'free shipping'.
It went back and forth but here is Becky's last note before I blocked her email:
It's an automated process we submit all non payers to collections. Its fair as we pay for labels.. 1000 a year don't pay its 5k its economical to pay $250 for this service. But don't worry you will pay for it once it's on your credit report.. They always do :)
____So as per above, they make a practice of this. Offering free shipping, but then wanting to nickle and dime the consumer for $5.49 (and then $50 in my case) when said consumer decides for whatever reason to take his/her business elsewhere.
There are notes all over the web about their practices, and a lot of people are unhappy with them.
I am taking a stand on principle here and look forward to your support to get this cleaned up, not only for me, but also for the other folks they have blackmailed by threatening to hit their credit ratings with this $5.49 (and more) charge.
Thank you

fair and this company should not be aloud to do business! He is basically stealing from honest, trustworthy people. This is a crime! Sincerely,[redacted]

Yuk. OpticsFast is the absolute WORST online company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. No. Wait! They are simply the worst company I have ever dealt with. They make Comcast and ATT seem like model customer support organizations. Thank goodness I never sent them my glasses for repair (thank you to The Frame Mender for the 1 week turnaround and excellent quality repair).
My entire lousy experience with OpticsFast has been limited to their constant badgering messages to send in my glasses. It doesn't matter that I patiently informed them I won't be sending them my glasses. "Why not" was their response. Because, I replied, online reviews for OpticsFast on [redacted] and the Revdex.com are dismal (plus they don't quote repairs until they've received the glasses unlike, say, The Frame Mender. With bad reviews and a pig-in-a-poke approach to the quote process, there was no way I was sending them my glasses to hold hostage). "Becky" replied that I was making a huuugh mistake, that they have great reviews with only a few hundred negative reviews because of some overly sensitive customers who complain at the littlest provocation. Not a good sign, I thought. Now, 2 weeks on, I get 1 or 2 daily messages to send in my already-repaired-by-someone-else glasses. Numerous requests to stop sending those messages have gone ignored.
So I gave them fair warning: if they sent me another message, I'd share my miserable experience on every social website I could find. In less than an hour, they replied that they'd already prepaid postage for my glasses and, therefore, I "must pay" them $5.49 to not send them in. I guess they figure their customers don't know or can't find out that Click-n-Ship postage is fully refundable within 30 days of purchase. These guys apparently know and will try every trick in the book to squeeze a few dollars from their customers. I shudder to think what tricks they would have tried if they'd gotten their mitts on my glasses. So here I am posting my experience everywhere I can find.
FWIW, in response to my warning of posting this review, their response was "the more [bad reviews] the merrier". Now that I'm actually posting as I warned them I would, the boneheads are calling my cellphone and threatening to IM and email bomb me. Poor sods apparently haven't heard of email blacklists and IM blocking.

In response to the above compalint, I hereby am providing our version of events. We received an order for repair service from customer. We sent a label that cost us $5.46 to the customer to have...

them ship their frames to us. To date we have not received anything from the customer to complete a service so not sure why they claim we are demanding money from them. Once we receive their repair job, we will evaluate them and send them an estimate. No estimate has been generated and no monies are owed at this time, until we receive their repair. They must gave have some form of miscommunication that they had to pay the shipping cost, when that is our expense. We never sent anything to collection and never did.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER[redacted] this place and the people that run it are absolutely awful. TOTAL SCAM!!! I sent in a pair of glasses that were broken with the one arm falling off. These were prescription glasses and contacted optics fast after finding them online. I WISH I had read reviews first.. From the moment I contacted them the experience was hell. They are rude and ignorant people that make a living off scamming hardworking people. After spending 180 dollars WITH a [redacted] warranty I purchased I received the glasses back still completely broken. They were thrown in a box three times their size with no wrapping what so ever. When I contacted the owner asking if they would send me another label to ship them back she told me it was my responsibility to pay to send them back and "it's like 3 dollars". Why would I pay any additional money for their mistake!! Here is a little example of an email she responded to me which shows how absolutely ridiculous these people are .. I asked if there was anyone else I can contact about my problem being that I spent 180 dollars already ..
We are the owners... Husband and Wife.
Who will you contact ?? You need to send it back I cant make it magically fix itself.
What kind of professional email is that !? Save yourself the trouble and keep looking for another place !!! No amount of money or glasses in the world is worth dealing with these people.

We are not sure what money is owed but we were the ones who generate a shipping label to customer for repair but they , to date never sent in any repair for us to work on.So if they don't send in there repairs, we cant send them an invoice to pay. So no money is owed here until we receive a repair to evaluate.

Cheats, Frauds, and Scammers
"After confirming that they repaired brand-name Vuarnet sunglasses, and paying in advance, I instead received a cheap substitute frame of a different brand, style, and color. The owner (and the shoddy Customer Service reps) refused to accept a return for a suitable Vuarnet frame, they refused to refund a portion of my money, and they destroyed my useable temples. This was a terrible example of bait-and-switch, and they appear to have no integrity or honesty when dealing with the public. I urge you not to use this company. I have been cheated!"

The customer ordered and paid for 2 sunglasses to be repaired. Customer sent in their frames and we repaired the and shipped the item to the customer’s confirmed billing address via [redacted] tracking...

number [redacted] and the other shipped as it was not fixed properly the initial time via [redacted] on 8/** .
