Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by Optics Fast Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered prescription frames and the product has not been delivered after three weeks and I keep getting the runaround. I am told something different each time I call but no real answers.Desired Settlement: My money back and never to have to deal with this company again.

Review: I paid nearly $100 for shipping and repair of my RayBans Sunglasses with a broken metal frame. I received them back in a box and when opened, the product was in exactly the same condition I had sent them in. Still broken, completely unusable. I contacted the company for a refund and at first they demanded the product was repaired, then accused me of lying via e-mail. Finally, they offered to let me send the product in again to have it repaired once again, but at this point I am hesitant to send it in because of the poor work the first time. I requested a refund and have not been accommodated.Desired Settlement: Give full refund for services not rendered / rendered inadequately. I have current pictures of sunglasses still in broken state, with the file number pasted to the case the company applied to it.

Review: I prepaid for 2 pair of sunglasses to be repaired. Several weeks later I received my sunglasses back from the company and both pairs were not repaired at all. They cashed my check and returned the unrepaired glasses back to me. After informing them and filing a complaint, the company asked that I resend the glasses back to them (and I paid for shipping twice) so they could repair them. Several weeks later, received both pairs back and only one was repaired. I immediately contacted them and asked for a refund for the pair that was not fixed. I have sent numerous emails to them over the last month asking for my refund and they refuse to refund me.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a refund on my one pair of glasses that were not repaired, along with the shipping charges that I had to incur to resend the glasses back to them after the first time.

Response:

The customer ordered and paid for 2 sunglasses to be repaired. Customer sent in their frames and we repaired the and shipped the item to the customer’s confirmed billing address via [redacted] tracking number [redacted] and the other shipped as it was not fixed properly the initial time via [redacted] on 8/** .

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I had to send my 2 pairs of sunglasses to this company twice. The first time they sent me back both pairs still unrepaired. I resent them again and only one pair came back repaired. I am requesting a refund immediately! I have been back and forth with them about this and do not understand why and how they can operate a business like this. Clearly after the first return with broken glasses they should have just returned my money, instead out of good faith I sent them back expecting them to return both pairs of glasses repaired. I only received one repaired. This is fraud. Please help.

Review: I submitted a pair of Tiffany Sunglasses for hinge repair. I paid over $130.00 in advance for repair and was told I would receive them back within 2 weeks. It has been 9 weeks and I still do not have my glasses. I have been inquiring via email weekly for 2 months. I have been promised that the glasses were on the way. Today I am being told the lab is trying to locate them? I have requested to speak to supervisor/owner every week with no response. I have called there telephone number with no response?Desired Settlement: I want my Tiffany Sunglasses returned ASAP. They have had them since May *, 2015 for a hinge repair. I was promised in weekly emails that they were on the way. I paid in full prior to repair over $ 130.00. Today I am told they can not locate them via email? Maybe this is a scam.

Review: I sent prescription glasses in for repair over six weeks ago. I have been trying to get them back cause I can't see without them. after calling the company at least twenty times and getting a recording promising to call me back or e-mail, which didn't happen. I finally spoke to some one on three occasions, and was told that my repair would be done the following week. well its going on another third week and I still haven't got that call, e-mail nor my repaired glasses. this is after pleeding with the person on the other line and telling them that I couldn't see without them !!!!!!!Desired Settlement: get me my repaired glasses to me NOW !!!!! I have waited long enough !!!!

Review: Placed order online 08/** for a pair of prescription glasses. Did not get a confirmation of purchase. Sent email to customer service asking about confirmation email and was told once the order processes, I will receive confirmation. Received email 08/** saying the only pair of frames they had in stock from the ones I picked were broken and they would have to search for another pair. Received email 08/** they were able to find a pair and would process my order. I did not hear anything after that. I emailed on 09/** re: can you tell me the status. Email back - should be going to lab next week. I emailed on 09/** re: can you tell me status. Email back - allow a week to process. I emailed on the 9/** re: can you tell me status. Email back - they are shipping. Received broken glasses in the mail on 9/** (I paid for next day shipping) They are a wireless under frame and the lens fell out when I tried the glasses on. The plastic piece was sticking out of the bottom of the rim (I have pictures). They were blatantly broken and very crooked when put in the box to ship. I shipped back on 10/* for repair. Email to company on 10/* that I had mailed them back and the tracking number said the glasses were received. How long for repair? Email back - Once we process, we will send to lab to look at.

I have not received any further information regarding my glasses. My credit card was charged on 9/*/2013 for $405.90+ $11 to ship them back for repair and I don't have any glasses. Also, the website states they have expert lab technicians on site for work and when I received my broken glasses, there was a bill from another lab, [redacted], where they obviously sent this job out (for a cost of $91.48 - I have a copy of the bill)Desired Settlement: I would love a refund, however, since they are prescription, I doubt I will get that. I just would like them repaired (to a wearable standard) and returned.

Review: After waking 5 weeks for my eye glasses to be repaired, they were not wearable. They attached the arm of the glasses but the arm bends out to the side and will not stay on.

I called several times to see what was taking so long, since I do need these to see anything.

When I complained they said that they did not leave the lab this way and that accidents happen., and to send them back and they will fix them. I can't wait another 5 weeks and they they have lied several times. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

I will not send them back, I do not trust them .Desired Settlement: Complete refund of $ 74.94 plus $ 9.80 for original shipping.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

It took them 5 weeks the first time , and then he blamed me for breaking the glasses. Why would I send them back to such an unrealiable business.

Sincerely,

Review: I placed an order with Optics Fast for a pair of costa del mar sunglasses on 6/*/2013. 10 days later on 6/**/2013 I was informed they did not have the product. At that time I asked that my order be cancelled, they asked if I was interested in other options in which none of them were what I was looking for. They told me they would inform me if they were able to get the one I was looking for through any other sources. I thought this was the end of the transaction. A week later without them telling me they were able to find the product or asking if I still wanted to place the order which I asked them to cancel, I received shipping information for the order. I asked them to stop the shipment using the USPS package intercept which they had the ability to do at the time and even offered to pay for the shipment to be stopped. They would not comply with this request stating that it was not possible. I called the USPS and they stated it was possible but needed to be done by them. At this point I felt strongly that they were pushing this order through and forcing it on me. They then informed me that this order they forced me to take would require me to pay a restocking fee for the return. They gave me an RMA number and I shipped the item back to them clearly marked with the RMA via UPS. The UPS tracking system shows this item as being signed for at their location. When I received no refund with in 2 weeks I contacted Optics Fast. They never responded to my email and they do not answer phone calls. I emailed again stating I would be forced to report them if they did no respond. They did respond and told me they had no record of an order under my name. When I forwarded their own emails back to them including the order and return info (RMA number) they responded with new return info and claimed they never received the package. At that point I supplied them with the tracking info from UPS which shows it being signed for at their location. They still deny having my package and are now threatening me with police action for harassment in what appears to be an attempt to intimidate me into letting them steal my money. At this point I feel I deserve a full refund and should not even be subjected to their restocking fee policy considering they pushed the order through after I requested it be cancelled. Again, this company does not answer phone calls and sometimes does not respond to emails. They do not offer a way to check orders online or confirm that they were cancelled.Desired Settlement: I feel I deserve a full refund. This company is operating with very poor business ethics which appear to be criminal. They should not be allowed to take advantage of other people like this.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Optics Fast has finally admitted to having the package and has issued my refund minus their restocking fee and shipping. I will accept this result although I truly feel this company

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

As we discussed by phone earlier today, my complaint with Optics Fast Inc. (ID #[redacted]), is resolved.

They sent me a check for $59.99 last week. I have not yet tried to cash it, but assume it is OK.

Thank you for your help,

Review: I placed an order to have my eyeglasses repaired and have not received the glasses or an answer on when I can expect them back. The following is a timeline of the activity thus far. 5/*/2013 - I received an email advising that my order (the glasses) was received. 5/**/2013- I received a quote for the repair. 5/**/2013- I paid $62.94 for the repair 5/**/2013- I sent an email to Opticsfast.com asking for a status. I received a response the same day from [redacted]. stating the lab should have completed the repair after the weekend and the glasses would be shipped to me. 6/*/2013- I called and left a message requesting a status. no response. 6/**/2013- I called again, spoke to [redacted] who advised me that she would check on the order and advise me via email. I am still waiting for a response. The information that I received indicated that the repair process would take between 3-5 business days after the invoice was paid. It is now well beyond that timeframe and I would like to know what is happening.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the eyeglasses repaired and returned to me. However, if there is a problem or they cannot repair them, I would simply like my glasses and my money returned to me. Thank You.

Response:

Revdex.com: RE: ID [redacted] . The matter has been resolved.

I received my glasses today. The part they repaired broke again but at least I have my frame back. Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,

It is no wonder this company has not been accredited by the Revdex.com. The company pulls scam after scam from initial mailing to return mailing. I mailed in a pair of glasses in early January. I specifically indicated that I wanted my nose bridge reattached to my lenses, and I wanted the ear piece comfort sleeves replaced. I had to pay two return shipping fees because I had asked for two things to be done. That should have been my first clue to cancel my order; but, I was not told this until they had already received my glasses. I authorized the work and paid slightly over $100 (two return postage fees included in total). At the time I felt ripped off because I had just a few months prior had my nose piece reattached for free by a Optician in SLC. Because I was 5 1/2 hours away at the time, I decided to pay the hefty charge just to get the repair done and over with. Their website says that the customer will be contacted with questions or concerns about the repair prior to the work being performed. I was not contacted, so I thought it was being done. Then just last week I received a text message asking me to call them. When I called customer service some guy came on line to tell me that they had to replace my lenses in order to make my glasses like new. He claimed there was a slight chip on one of the lenses, so they went ahead and ground new ones (prescription is approximately 18+ years old and I never, ever noticed a chip). He said I had to pay another $50 before they would send them back. I need them back to wear for improved distance vision at night and in low visibility enclosures. I explained that I had not authorized this repair prior to it being done. He said, "Well now your glasses will be totally brand new for only $150. I approved the ransom fee just so I could have my glasses back. When they arrived, the nose pads had come off (if they were ever put on), and there was no final invoice/statement indicating what had actually been done. When I emailed their Customer Service Department to express my displeasure with their service, the only response I received was a total lie. I was told the new lenses had to be made in order to attach the nose bridge. Excuse me. I had just recently had the same process done at no charge on the old lenses, so I knew I was being lied to. In summary: This company provides false advertising via their website; inflates their charges for simple repairs and return postage; performs unauthorized repairs and then holds the glasses hostage until the additional fee is paid; holds glasses for 9+ weeks before contacting the customer once the initial bill is paid; and lies about why additional services are performed. I would like the additional $50 refunded to me and any additional return postage fees charged for the return of the lenses as a third item. Fool me once; but you won't fool me again.

Review: I sent two pair of Tom Ford Sunglasses (retail value approximately $850 for both) to this business for repair. I was asked to pre-pay for shipping and received a quote for the repair of one pair of glasses for $65.89 (they stated the second pair was irreparable) . I was informed that once the payment was made, I should expect the repairs to take 3-5 days and that they would then provide me with a tracking number once they were shipped back to me. Via credit card, I pre-paid the return shipping ($14.95) on 10/*/13 and paid the estimated cost of repair on 10/**/13. I received confirmation that my order was received that same day. Since 10/**/13, I have received approximately 50 automated e-mails from OpticsFast saying that my repair estimate is ready and that I should visit my account - when checking my account, the "cart" is empty and there is no additional information. I have tried contacting them repeatedly via phone and e-mail and have received no reply. It is now 30 business days out from when I made payment and 25 business days past when I was told that the glasses would be repaired and returned. I have since read numerous on-line reviews summarizing similar experiences with this business. Additionally, I also had someone fraudulently make purchases using my credit card totaling more than $500 since this transaction was made. I am concerned that I have been scammed, not only out of the $80.00 I paid to the business, but that also out of the sunglasses I sent in. Any assistance you can provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: If the glasses are not going to be repaired, I want them returned and a refund of the $80.84 that was charged to my credit card. If they are going to be repaired, I want to know when I can expect to receive them as well as the name and number of a contact at OpticsFast.

Review: I sent off my sunglasses for repair on the [redacted] July 2013. I paid £11.40 to send them plus I paid to Optics Fast £22.07 for return shipping. After several emails and online chats they finally got my sunglasses and produced a quote. Since placing order with them I have had fraudulant activity on the card I used which has since had to be cancelled. I paid £49.40 for the repair with different card. I had to chase and chase and chase for any update of when the repair would be completed. Eventually on [redacted] Sept I recieved a note from Royal Mail saying the package could not be delivered as customs duty was payable (no previous mention of this from Optics Fast) However I complained and they said to pay the fee and they would refund. I paid yet another £21.02 to get my sunglasses. I noticed on the packaging that they had sent this item as a gift which is clearly something that should not be done from a Company to a Consumer. When I opened the package it was clear that none of the repairs I asked for had been completed, which were fix the left arm which was very loose from wear and replace the lost crystals on the lense. Neither had been done. I contacted them again to say no repairs had taken place and I sent pictures. Now they want me to sent them again at my expense both ways so they can check and the will not offer refund which is the only acceptable thing after the whole experience.Desired Settlement: I think I that I should have a full refund of all of the payments I have made.

Review: In April of 2014, I contracted via phone call to have them repair two pairs of sunglasses for me. I sent the sunglasses to them as requested. Opticsfast then sent an email to me listing what the charges would be for the repairs. I called them and agreed to the amount for repairs ($105.00). That amount was charges to my Visa. They returned my glasses to me on May, ** 2014. No repairs had been done on the sunglasses and they were returned to me in the exact state of disrepair in which they were sent. I tried numerous time to reach the business and left voicemails for return calls. They never returned a call. I disputed the charge with my Visa company and they in turn notified opticsfast of the disputed charge. Opticsfast did not acknowledge [redacted]'s dispute. [redacted] reversed my charges and credited my account. I am now getting harassing phone calls from [redacted] regarding an "unpaid" bill that Opticsfast sent to collections.Desired Settlement: As no repairs were done to my sunglasses as per contracted agreement and they were returned to me in the same state of disrepair, there should absolutely be no charges incurred. They need to drop the collections.

Review: Sent $14.95 by Amex CC on July [redacted] for estimate of repairs on 2 sunglass frames. Sent frames July [redacted] for repair. Payment of $131.98 sent July [redacted] via Amex CC for repairs to be completed in 3-5 business days as per their emails. On July [redacted], sent email inquiring of my order, and received reply from "[redacted]." that there was a "backlog". On August [redacted], telephoned "Customer Service" without response, and on the same date, sent an email. On August [redacted], have made 3 calls, and sent email, also without replies. American Express dispute filed against Optics Fast.Desired Settlement: Refund of all charges ($14.95 & $131.98), return of my property by USPS insured and tracked, as I sent to them.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered a pair of perspiration glasses from OpticsFast.com on 8-**-2013. My credit card is listed as being charged for $269.92 on 9-**-2013. I was told in the email they sent me that it would take 2 weeks to receive the frames so I waited patiently. On 11-**-2013 I finally emailed them and asked what was going on and asked for a refund all I received back was this:We are waiting for the frame to arrive so we can send to the lab[redacted]Customer ServiceObviously the frames are never coming. It is now 2-*-2014 and I have not received or heard anything from them. I've sent more emails demanding a refund and have received no response to these requests. My only option now is to work with the credit card company to help me resolve the issue.Desired Settlement: A full refund to my credit card and cancellation of my order is all I ask.

Sincerely,

Review: After close to two months I finally received my Oliver Peoples eyeglasses, (order no. [redacted]) but with the wrong size frames. I ordered size 54 frames and they sent me size 45 frames. It would be the equivalent of ordering size 11 shoes and receiving size 9 shoes. Upon placing my order October **, 2013, [redacted]assured me that those frames were in stock and would take 3 days in the lab to prepare the prescription and then about 3 days to ship to me. After about 10 days I called customer support to inquire as to the status of my order. The customer service representative indicated that these frames were not in stock and had to be special ordered from "Oliver Peoples" and it would probably be a couple more weeks. I explained to the customer service representative that Danielle indicated that they had them in stock as I mentioned above. No apologies were given and it was implied that I should have know this, (i.e. that "Oliver Peoples" glasses would never be in stock and that they were always special ordered). So, I waited a couple more weeks and called customer service again and was told that the frames were in and that they would put a "rush" on it. She indicated that they had a backlog of 62 "Oliver Peoples" frames and were behind. In December I still didn't receive the eyeglasses, so I contacted them again, and again she mentioned she would put a "rush" on it and I should have them in several days. Finally on Friday, December [redacted]I received the eyeglasses, and tried them on and they seemed very small. Imprinted on the frames was size 45. I ordered size 54 eye size. I contacted customer service the following Monday to explain that I received the wrong size frames. she indicated that she would send me an email in a couple of minutes outlining how to return the glassess to them and that they would be re-made. Never received the email, called them again and she indicated that Oliver Peoples never makes a size large than 45 and that I should have know that! Another words it was again my, fault. I said no and that I need to get a refund. She said I would be subject to a re-stocking fee. I said no, that it was your fault for not checking the frame size. I inquired as to why they don't check the frame size prior to the lab making my prescription lens. She didn't have an adequate response to that. She indicated Danielle would phone me the next morning. That call never came and here I am.Desired Settlement: I would like them to credit my credit card for the full purchase price.

Sincerely,

Review: I send my Fendi sunglasses for repair twice to Opticsfast ($14.00) each time for postage.

The sunglasses were never repaired. My Credit card was billed for the repair $52.00. I am disputing the fact that this Company wasted my time and money and never explained the reason why they were not repaired. They are very unorganized and I cannot trust them by sending back my sunglasses for the third time. I am very disappointed for the non-service I have recieved and thats why I am lilling this formal complaint with the Revdex.com. I reported it to my Credit Card.

Review: I want $23.60 refunded to me for services not provided. 5/** I paid 12.00 for service evaluation 5/** I mailed in my item 5.80 cost for mailing 6/* received estimate 6/* paid an additional estimate fee 6/**received my item back still broken 6/** mailed item back to be repaired 5.80 cost for mailing 6/** asked for a refund (by email) 7/* asked for a refund (by email) 7/* asked for a refund (by email) 7/** asked for a refund (by email) 7/** asked for a refund (by email) 7/** company is un-responsive to all calls and emails about servicesDesired Settlement: Since this company is not going to repair my item I would like a full refund I would like my item back but ask you can see by their website they steal people's sunglasses, repair them and retail them at the higher cost. At this time, I have been contacted directly by Optics Fast Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

on 8/**/13 I received an email from them saying that my item was mailed to me. On 8/**/13 I received my item in the mail - IT IS STILL BROKEN AND NO REPAIR HAS BEEN DONE ON THIS ITEM. I still would like my full refund since they still have not performed the services they promised. If photo's are needed to support this issue please let me know.
