Review: I placed and order for eye glass frames from opticsfast on 07/**/14. I received an email that my order was received on 07/**/14. I received an email from [redacted] (Customer Svc Rep) on 07/**/14 that there was a problem with my order. She stated the product was cracked and could not locate another pair of frames. I was instructed to call for assistance. I have been calling for three days, but only get a phony answering service recording and I have emailed numeroous times with no response by phone or email. I have asked for a refund with each time I have corresponded. This company is a scam!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund to my Credit card!!!

This item was ordered & confirmed on December [redacted] 2103. Since then, I've made many requests for updates on delivery.

Today is February [redacted], 2014, over 75 days since I ordered the Rx glasses. According to the Opticsfast FAQ it only takes up to 7 business days to send them. See- [redacted] At this point, all efforts to receive them have failed. Worse, I've been told they were "ready for delivery" or "were in the lab" multiple times. Clearly these are lies. In fact, it's outright "fraudulent conveyance" of goods & services, charging cards prior to delivery, inter-state commerce mail fraud and so forth. It's a serious issue.

Consequently, I only wish a complete refund immediately.

Review: Product (simple pair of standard Maui Jim) sunglasses ordered online for overnight delivery. Claim on website was to allow one business day for processing but when product wasn't received two days after ordering an email was sent inquiring as to product delivery. Claims by company that they ordered frames and that it would take a few weeks to arrive to them. I did not order frames and I certainly didn't order Maui Jim frames that might have substandard lenses in them instead of Maui Jim lenses that come with the sunglasses. I asked to cancel order, however, they would not cancel, hammered my credit card immediately and then told me I had to pay them 20% for cancellation. They are running a scam to get 20% on every order and they have nothing to send people. This is a straight shake-down business and should have the State Attorney of NY investigate them under RICO laws.Desired Settlement: I think this business is obviously operating with impunity within the State of New York and should be investigated for interstate fraudulent activity by the State Attorney of NY. I have already called Visa to credit the account due to this fraudulent activity.

I am contacting you because the above named company is requesting me to pay them $5.49 for a service/ shipping label I did not receive. The agent has informed me if I did not send them the money today, they were going to report me to the a collections agency. I had planned to send in a pair of glasses to see if they could repair them for me; however, decided not to send them in because I was able to obtain assistance locally. These people have been emailing me constantly about my sending them the shipment, after I informed them I did not need to send them and to disregard the initial request. A lady in their customer service department by the name of Becky, has been emailing me threatening to send me to a collections agency. I have not found on their site anywhere, anything stating if I did not send in glasses to them after a initial request that I am liable for paying for a shipping label I did not receive until today, the same day they threatened to send me to a collections agency. The second portion of my complaint has to do with the level of customer service I received after speaking with someone by the name of Dino and Alex. They both were quite rude, very hard to understand, and threatening to send me to a collections agency.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to make a billing adjustment for the 5.49, as well as make an adjustment on sending this to a collections agency in an "on purpose" effort to adversely effect my credit because I will not send them 5.49 for services I did not receive, or for a shipping label they did not tell me I was going to have to reimburse them for. As per their site, shipping was free.

I have reviewed the complaint assigned to this matter, and completely baffled at the complaint. We never charged the customer for shipping. We sent a free shipping label and they chose bot to use it. We are not collecting $5 for the label that we provided for free. They have some weird misunderstanding.

Review: I sent 3 pairs of rx glasses on Nov. *. After much haggling over the repair cost, I agreed to the repair and shipping, which was debited immediately from my account. Approx 2 weeks later, I received an email that my glasses were done, I was given a tracking number and shipping info. The tracking number did not work on the [redacted] site. I then received an email asking me for 2 verifiable positive reviews on sites they recommended. Then I was asked to send a monetary "tip" to [redacted]. I said I would consider the above requests when I received my glasses. Well, it has been almost 2 months and I have not received my glasses. I contact them once a week and the response is "[redacted]" I have asked for my glasses and they can keep the money, or send the money and keep the glassses.Desired Settlement: My Money or My Glasses

Review: I placed an order for sunglasses online an paid by check. When I received the product they were damaged, so I returned them by Certified Mail. I have a confirmation that the return was received and I have not received my refund check. At first their excuse was, "[redacted]". When they had, because I have a confirmation of delivery. Then they said, "[redacted]". Then I was told, "[redacted]". Then when I hadn't received the check I called again and was told, "[redacted]", now for the past 4 weeks, I have been trying to get a copy of the signature on the back of the check. And THAT has been one excuse after another. He said he has emailed it to me several times, which I have not received. I just NOW got on the website "[redacted]" to see if he had any reviews and there were 43 Complaints about this business, for the same thing. Damaged merchandise and not returning money.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund money of $357.24 and I would like someone to investigate this business.

This guy is not a business person, he is basically stealing peoples money.

Review: I ordered glass on Sept * 2013, Glasses was on back order for over 2 months before recieving glasses on Nov **2013. I responded by email on the Nov [redacted] about damage glassed to Sales representive [redacted]. She told me to return them to Hong Kong.

I asked if OpticsFast would be paying for shipping? The answer was "NO"! I do not understand why a company would recommend the customer to return the product other than the place purchased. All I request is a refund...this company has a F rating for Revdex.com & I should have done my homework before ordering.Desired Settlement: Return damage product (received glasses damage) at OpticsFast expense with in the United States.

Review: Placed an order on October [redacted] for new Gucci frames with my prescription to be added. I was told the frames were in stock and it should take about 12 days until I received my order. I called back on October [redacted] to follow up and was told that Gucci was delayed in sending the glasses and that they had resolved that and now it would take two days for the lab to get my prescription in. I called back on October [redacted] and was told that they were still waiting for the frames from Gucci. I reminded them that according to their website this item was in stock. They deducted $20 from my order ([redacted] and assured me that I would have a tracking number by October [redacted]. It's now October [redacted] and I've been on hold for 20 minutes while someone is trying to determine what's going on. In the interim, I received an email from Karina with told me that Gucci sent the wrong color frames and that I should have my glasses by early next week. I just want my glasses and the truth.Desired Settlement: I want the glasses I ordered and paid for delivered IMMEDIATELY and I would like for the owner/manager to call me and apologize.

I requested that the owner call me. They offered me $10 back if I posted something nice about them online. I told them that I could never do that and then they got really nasty, threatening to sue me for defamation. I left 7 messages for the owner to no avail. I did receive my glasses finally but the prescription is off. I'm going to take them to Cohen's optical and have themn re-done the right way. This company is the worst.

Review: I mailed my REVO sunglasses to Optics Fast. By e-mail previously they quoted a price of $70. The final bill was $95. When I received my sunglasses back they were thrown in the box with no protection at all. I believe they took my original frames and substituted them with a fake pair of Revo sunglasses. The frames are bent completely out of shape and do not fit my face. It looks like a dog chewed the temple. When you correspond with this company they are the most unprofessional individuals I have ever encountered. This company is a total scam and they are probably part of some organized crime ring.Desired Settlement: No matter what happens I will never see my REVO frames again. They kept them and sent me a fake pair and charged me $95 for doing this. Even more important than a refund is putting this operation out of business. It is a scam. Check the internet for reviews on Optics Fast. It is filled with stories just like mine. I should have checked before sending my credit card number and glasses.

Review: I contacted OpticsFast online about repairing my sunglasses on 8/**/13. They told me I had to pay $14.95 upfront for them to "ship the sunglasses back to me once they were done repairing them", so I did. I paid the $14.95 online. On 8/**/13, I mailed the sunglasses to them for repair, which cost me $2.41 including insurance. On 8/**/13 I received an E-mail from OpticsFast saying they had received my sunglasses and the repair would cost $59.99. I immediately paid the $59.99 online to have them repaired. On 9/**/13 I received my sunglasses back in the mail, filthy dirty with fingerprints all over the lenses, and the glasses WERE NOT REPAIRED !! They were STILL BROKEN !! There was no notice in the box with the sunglasses as to why they were not repaired, nothing. Just the broken sunglasses. So they took $14.95 from me to ship them back to me, which was way more than necessary even with insurance, and they took $59.99 from me for the repairs. As of today I have NOT received any of my money back. I have E-mailed them every single day since I got the sunglasses back broken, and they keep saying they are going to give me my money back. But they have not !! This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. They are taking peoples money and not repairing their glasses. It's insane !!Desired Settlement: I want the $14.95 back that they took from me for shipping because I know for a fact that it did not cost that much to ship them back to me. I even asked my post office and they said that is way more than necessary to mail back a pair of sunglasses. And I want my $59.99 back that I sent them for the repair. And I want it immediately. This has been going on for almost a month. RIDICULOUS !! I will never use them again or recommend them to a friend. Never !!

Review: I sent to 400.00 pair of eye glasses in for repair have not recived them back this was on july [redacted] lab got them a week later there company faq states that takes 2-3 days to fix and send back to this day 08/** I have not gotten these back and I am about to file a police report and contact my lawyer.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for one pair for the glasses and the repair expedited and sent back.

Review: I placed an order on www.OpticsFast.com on June ** for some eyeglasses (to replace a pair I lost). I called and was told the item was in stock. I received an email for my order confirmation. I requested overnight shipping since I needed them urgently. As of July *, I had not received an email that my product had shipped. I called to follow up on my order and was told the item hadn't arrived yet. It would be a few more days before they would arrive and ship out. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the woman I spoke to that day. I called July * to follow up and was told that someone would call me back on Monday to give me an update. As of July *, I did not receive a call and still have not received an update on my order. I called 3 times and was on hold for over 10 minutes each time, never reaching a person. I finally got a hold of someone via their online chat. [redacted] told me my item was not in stock. When I asked why I was told that it was and accused them of false advertising, she left the chat. I then opened a chat with [redacted]. She told me they had 1 left and they had found small crack in the frame and could not ship it. She said they emailed me on June ** to let me know. I never received an email and they never attempted to contact me by phone. I don't know what they get out of it, but they are falsely advertising products as available when they are not. There are a lot of similar complaints about them online as well.Desired Settlement: For the Revdex.com to know about their dishonest business practices, and for OpticsFast to change the way they do business and advertise their products.

Review: I sent four pair of eyeglasses to have the rhinestones replaced where they had fallen out. Their website specifically states that they replace missing rhinestones in Prada eyeglasses which are the brand I have. I received them back on Friday, Oct. **. The rhinestones do not match the correct size, there is glue all over the frames, the rhinestones are not even in line with each other. I emailed the company and requested my money back. I had paid them $225. They agreed to give me back $20. I will send you photos if you like.Desired Settlement: Refund.

The customer did send in 4 pairs of eyeglasses with missing rhinestones. We sent them to the lab and did our best to match up rhinestones that were missing totally. The rhinestones obviously are not from the manufacturer, since the frames are old and discontinued but we did our best to match them up. We have refunded customer partially as courteous.

To the best iof their I ability is not even close! I could have done better myself. If they were not able to replace these rhinestones then they could have sent the glasses back to me and said that the could not fix them. Instead they refunded $20 out of $225. I was cheated out of $205. Just because the eyeglasses were not current models does not excuse them from their notation online that they "repair rhinestones in Prada eyeglasses." All they had to do is say no and send the glasses back and my money. Instead they took my money and did not do the repair that they said they would. Is this legal! Take the money and don't do the work?

I ordered a pair of sunglasses from OpticsFast, and they debited my account on 6/4/13 for $158.24. They provided me with my order number ([redacted]) on 6/**/13. A couple weeks went by without any updates, and I never received the order. They finally provided me with the tracking #, however the USPS website shows it was sent to CYPRESS, CA 90630 and delivered 7/**/13. The customer service from OpticsFast has been ineffective, extremely informal, and very curt. It's been extremely frustrating, and they have not provided me with any explanations. I've confirmed with USPS that OpticsFast shipped it to the wrong address, however OpticsFast has taken no responsibility for it or admitted to any wrongdoings. OpticsFast has blamed USPS for the incorrect delivery, however continue to tell me that they are in contact with USPS and will get the order rerouted. However when chatting with a different OpticsFast employee on their website recently, they told me "it looks like the customer [that they delivered it to by mistake] refuses to return it". Apparently their plan is to wait until this person voluntarily returns my order. I've requested that they ship me my order or refund me the full amount, however they have not done anything. After some research, I can see now that this company has very negative reviews and an "F" rating, which I believe is appropriate. I also believe that the "testimonials" on the website are not legitimate. I would greatly appreciate any advise or assistance you can offer in resolving this issue. Review: I ordered frames and prescription bifocal lenses from their website on Sept *, 2013 -the product stated (with stock #) IN STOCK Ships within 24 hrs. I submitted my credit card info and dr.'s prescription per their telephone customer service rep instructions. My CC was billed the same day over $450. Today is Sept **. No delivery. I get runaround about 72 hrs processing.. item has been ordered...in lab. refusal to cancel my order for full refund...item has been ordered (was supposed to be in stock)..... your item is on the way, we will send tracking information (which never comes)... I see one of their "sales representatives" signs emails as [redacted], but when clicking profile it comes up as [redacted] (sp?), There is no online acct. of my purchase, other than the statement from my Visa card. My gmail email acct has been compromised and our email correspondence has had attempts to purge, made unable to print or forward, making documentation difficult.Desired Settlement: I want to cancel order for full refund due to a breach of contract and non shipment of product, and that although they claim 72 hrs processing, they billed my CC immediately with no follow thru. Advertising is deceptive, sales reps are not legitimate and promises to deliver are not met.

Review: I sent glasses to be repaired by optics fast. I payed for shipping plus the cost of repairs. They sent back the glasses un repaired. I was instructed by the customer service rep to send the glasses back with a note attached that explains what items needed to be repaired on the glasses. She said the cost of the shipping would be covered.

The glasses were sent back to me un repaired. I emailed the company asking for my money back after they failed to make the repair for the second time and they said they made a payment to my credit card which they did not do. I asked them through several emails to make the payment onto my credit card and they have not responded.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the cost of repairs that have not been made, and also for the cost of shipping.

Review: I placed order thru OpticsFast website on July [redacted](order # = [redacted]) When I ordered the frames, I opted for the Canada $26 Express (2-3 Days option). I called the OpticsFast helpline on July [redacted] to ask where my order was. Representative "[redacted]" explained to me that 2-3 days Canada Express shipping does not include the pre-shipping processing time. I pointed out that the website does not clearly state that, and I had paid extra for that service as I need replacement frames quickly. While this is disappointing, I am more concerned about her incredible lack of regard, aggressiveness and rudeness on the phone. // [redacted] decided to lean on the strategy of arguing that it was my ignorance of July [redacted] being a national holiday that had altered my expectation of delivery. (For the record, I live in [redacted], Canada and I am definitely aware that July [redacted] is a US national holiday). //Among other things, [redacted] said "if you do not realize that July [redacted] is a national holiday, that's your issue" // I made attempts to make it clear to her that she was being rude. Her responses continued to be aggressive. I asked her if there was someone else I could speak with and she said "no, I am a supervisor and we are about to close". When I told her that she was rude, she said "you are entitled to your opinion." In addition, during the call, I had to ask her twice to take me off speakerphone. // Overall, [redacted] sounded agressive, unsympathetic and sarcastic throughout most of the call. > 2. Review: This place is scamming customers. Check out reviews on [redacted]. http[redacted] They took my product, charged my card, and now won't return my product. It's been 6 weeks. Additionally, I think they stole my credit card information. I'm following up with my bank and police authorities about that.Desired Settlement: I want my glasses (fixed or not) and a full refund including my shipping costs to get the glasses to their facility.

Review: I ordered a pair of sunglasses on the 6/*/2013 that was supposed to ship after 72 hours at most. Delivery time was estimated 3-7 days. The product still has not shipped (6/**/2013). I called the following weekend and they told me the product would ship that week but it hasn't. I have made several attempts to contact OpticsFast regarding this and the only response I get is that they will look into it.Desired Settlement: I would like the sunglasses to be delivered or I would like to have the charge fully canceled.

Review: Ordered eyeglass frames back on Aug [redacted] 2013 from Optics Fast. My Credit card was charged and order confirmed within a day of order. Called the following week on Thurs 9/* to check status, only to be told frames were discontinued and asked if I'd like to order another color. I did over the phnoe with Customer Service Change colors which I was assured were available. I did follow up on the average of 2x per week thereafer to check status of the order. Each time was told that my order was active and frames were coming from an offsite warehouse located in NYC. I was told this each time I called. I also should mention I followed up with on line chats and emails which will accompany this complaint if need be. At one point during mid Sept, I was told on a Thursday that the frames would be shipped the following Tues. When I received no email confirmation or frames, I called again. The same excuse was given time after time. Finally last week I planned to cancel the order. I opted not to as I was told that it should only be a few more days. I phoned on Wed of this week to check order. Customer Serv Rep advised the frames would ship Friday (Today 9/**), as they were being packaged. Because I trust nothing this organization has to say, I called today at around noon, and was told the frames were discontinued. I have subsequently now officially cancelled my order. I expect a full refund of my order not a refund less 20% which is what they are threateningDesired Settlement: Full Refund
