Protect America Inc has received the complaint filed by Ms [redacted] and found that she paid the remaining year of her service on 7/1/At that time we asked that she provide us with a cancellation letterOur records indicate we did not receive the cancellation letterWe now ask that Ms [redacted] provide proof of the cancellation request being mailed and or emailed to us and at that time we are able to clear the current balanceHer account is currently set to cancel on 8/31/

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The months contract was overdue by yearsProtect America never attended the needs of updating the equipment, focused only in collecting moneyThe worst customer service in the world, focused only in collecting money, not service.The equipment meltdown (literally) on July with great risks to my home and my familyhe contract was overdue and I talked in the phone to tell I did not want any more relation with themProtect America did not take any step to solve the problem, just pretended to keep milking my credit cardIn December they sent a new equipment which I rejected and sent it them back, with a letter of rejectionThis sending of a new equipment "to be able to keep the monitoring" is a demonstration of they had not any equipment to monitor my home, making themselves caught in the fact that they are pretending to collect money for a service that did not exist, since the equipment melt downIn fact they must be punished for this billing for fake service they did not make Regards, [redacted]

We’ve received the rejected response from Mr [redacted] and in further review of his account information previously provided; we initially requested that Mr [redacted] provide us with the documentation from the senior living facility he will be moving intoWith the documentation from the senior living facility, we would be able to look at different alternatives for Mr [redacted] accountAt this time we have not received the documents for the senior living facility therefore the account will remain in its current active statusWe ask if Mr [redacted] have any additional questions to please contact us at ***-***-***Sincerely, Customer Protection

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: I have spoken to a manager: [redacted] Sanchez on Dec29th when I called protect AmericaWe discussed the fact that Protect America had agreed to terminate my contract as of Jan 31st This was good news to me, but I had spoken to another manager [redacted] back in November and he had said that they would credit my account for the months of November and December which are now outstandingThey had already credited the months of Sept and Oct because they had not fulfilled their end of a contract signed Aug 6th [redacted] was going to speak with [redacted] to clear up my balance and return a call to me on Dec 30th at 7:on my cell phoneHe did not call me back at the time discussedI would like to just clear up all that we discussed and will be happy with this resolutionI am looking forward to Protect America to contact me with this final resolutionI also fear that now that Jan 1st has passed there will be yet another month billed to me, so I want this to stop Regards, [redacted]

Protect America has received the response submitted by Mr [redacted] Our Retention team has been making an effort to reach out to Mr [redacted] regarding cancelling his account with the proper protocolWe ask that Mr [redacted] allow Protect America to assist him with any and all future concerns

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: you voided the contractual obligations your company had by not delivering a working product and we're unable to provide a replacement device that would work as your contract stated you will do. In addition, the package was not delivered next day (it arrived 4 days after ordering) and was returned within 3 days of receipt. I was not told that if you falsely represented your product I would he charged a $79 fee for the fraudulent sales practices your company engaged in. In addition, your company made numerous material representations both in print media online and on phone, that were not true such as the brand of security system equipment, return procedures, delivery date, installation time, hardware safety features (smash and crash), etc. You knowingly defrauded me and other customers into purchasing an alarm system that doesn't work as you've advertised. You weren't able to send me any secondary touchscreen panel like I had purchased that would work because you use outdated technologies. I've contacted my bank to dispute the charge as the contractual obligations were violated by Protect America on several fronts. Regards, [redacted]

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Mr [redacted] ***We reviewed the account and callsOur policy changed to where by, we no longer take over existing hardwire systemsWe offered Mr [redacted] an option of providing new alarm system equipment with a one year extension on his AgreementHe accepted the offerHe called back stating that he was not happy with the aesthetics of the equipment and requested to have the account cancelledMr [redacted] paid the remainder of the contract term and the account was cancelled accordingly We ask that he allows Protect America to assist with any further inquiries

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Mr [redacted] As per Protect America's Agreement terms and conditions, the agreement is for months and we require a day written notice to process the cancellation of the account at the end of the termMr [redacted] renewed his Agreement with Protect America in July 1, in exchange for upgraded equipmentMr [redacted] never installed the equipmentHe contacted us regarding the accountWe provided him various options to which he declinedHe stopped making payments on the accountThe balance owed on the account is validWe ask that he allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns
