system she has for about a week or so then call us back with a decision. Our cancellation team member told her he's going to document the offer and she have time to callback if she chose to cancel. We also sent the cancel ink on 4/6/18. On 5/8/18 we spoke with Ms. [redacted] and explained the cancellation process and emailed her the link. At this time her account is set to cancel  on 6/30/18 with a zero balance. 30, 2013 and was recapitulated to him in January 20, 2017. We received his 30 day written notice. We have processed the cancellation of the account accordingly and have been able to resolve his concerns. We ask that he allows Protect America to assist with any further inquiries.

I am rejecting this response because: There is no one that I can transfer the contract to. As well, in the 12 years that I have served in the military I have moved 4 others times and not once was I required to pay a cancelation fee for any contract from any services because the military was forcing me to move. I have not even heard of other security system companies charging cancelation fees to the military members that use their services; and there are many other members using other services at bases across the United States. Also I had originally planned to try and keep the military legal, the AUSA, the VA and other systems out of a dispute like this, but now I feel I am forced to go to them and notify our housing office headquarters so that they can warn and try to advise other Soldiers and veterans not to use the services of this company.

I am rejecting this response because: you voided the contractual obligations your company had by not delivering a working product and we're unable to provide a replacement device that would work as your contract stated you will do. In addition, the package was not delivered next day (it arrived 4 days after ordering) and was returned within 3 days of receipt. I was not told that if you falsely represented your product I would he charged a $79 fee for the fraudulent sales practices your company engaged in. In addition, your company made numerous material representations both in print media online and on phone, that were not true such as the brand of security system equipment, return procedures, delivery date, installation time, hardware safety features (smash and crash), etc. You knowingly defrauded me and other customers into purchasing an alarm system that doesn't work as you've advertised. You weren't able to send me any secondary touchscreen panel like I had purchased that would work because you use outdated technologies. I've contacted my bank to dispute the charge as the contractual obligations were violated by Protect America on several fronts.

I am rejecting this response because:I called the company and canceled my account after my 3 year contract expired.  They told me I needed to sign contact and pay an extra 30 days which I did but they never mailed my a contract to sign after calling 3 times for 3 months in a row.  It is documented in their system that I called and requested a contract to sign but was never mailed out.  The customer service verified it is documented in their system but they will not mail me a contract to sign to cancel so they keep billing me month after month.

This information was further recapitulated to him on September 11, 2017 when he called to cancel the account. We received his thirty day written cancel notice effective September 11, 2017 and processed cancellation of the account accordingly. I am rejecting this response because:We haven't had service in over 3 months due to our system being offline, Protect Americas fault. They kept changing their story too. I have over 7 calls in just one day. One lady, [redacted]  said we were in line to receive a phone call saying that our system needed to be upgraded. They were going to send me a new motherboard, that we had to install, and I said no. She said she could offer me a new digitized motherboard for 100.00 and I said no! I'm not a technician nor was I paying them one more dime. We already paid for 3 months of service that we didn't have. Then I find out that they charged my Credit Card for the month of December, after canceling. I had to cancel my card so they wouldn't change anymore.

I am rejecting this response because:  On June of 2016, I sold the house this plan was associated with. The new owner wanted to continue the service and contacted protect America. They called me and asked if it was ok to transfer the account into her name on July 1st, 2016, I agree and they said they would take care of it. They continued to take payments out of my account for an additional 6 months until I filed a complaint and that's when they told me they were not able to transfer the account into the new buyers name, BUT THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME TO TELL ME THAT BACK IN JULY 2016, THEY JUST CONTINUED TO TAKE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT.  If they would have told me that they were not able to transfer the account, I could have closed it back in July 2016.  I was forced to close my bank account because of these aes.I demand that THEY CONTACT WHO EVER IS CALLING ME AND ORDER THEM TO QUIT CALLING ME.    Protect America's inability to deal with this in a professional manner is very upsetting. I'm forced to take further action against this company.Everybody beware of this company, they are very unethical!!!
