First, I agree with all the negatives posted below and wish I could give them a negative starsThis is a horrible company to work with They moved us from San Diego to Colorado Springs in August We bought into their story about being an old company that worked to do the best job for their customersThey insisted on payment up front based on the estimated poundage and packing costs with a contract that would refund us if actual poundage and packing costs were less We know that we are owed back over a thousand dollars, based on the actual weight and packing costs It has been two months and that refund has not been processed They do not return phone messages or emails, and the few times I have gotten through they have promised to get the refund taken care of, but not followed though
The truck did arrive on time for the packing, loading and the delivery While the packers in San Diego were adequate, the unloaders in Colorado Springs were two young men that seemed to never have unloaded before The load was large enough and items heavy enough that three or more support would have been appropriateAs a result of the unskilled labor, several important pieces of furniture were damaged A leg on my piano was shattered and the answer from the insurance company is to have the pieces clued back together

Company is absolutely horrible! The general manager has told lie after lieSlow, unprofessional and not trustworthyIt took them seven hours to pack boxes, of which were simple tv'sThey left our good out in the rain and leftBroke our glass table tops and hid itIllegally wrapped our mattress in Saran Wrap and placed our lawnmower on top of our unprotected new lazy boy reclinersWhen confronted on listed condition of item, the packet could not find the mildew, cracks, dents that he documented and just told me I could write that I didn't agreeMissed inventory on itemsHoles in our wall and drug our refrigerator up the ramp on its sideI could go on foreverGlad I took photos and videos

we did a contract with colemanallied for moving our goods from madison USA to new delhi India
the job was not done efficiently, they had not enough cardboards to pack our stuff.the employees were not trained to packdays job was completed in 3rd day night time around 12pm
unfortunately our move got cancelled after the goods went to their storage, within a week.we informed them to stop the container and the container hook broke and it was being repaired at their warehouse only in madison al,the goods never went to the dock too.the packing and movement cost was 12000usd.we paid all the money
when we requested to return our goods back to our house they made an extra charge above 12000usd of 1000usd for us to pay
after that goods were delivered at our place
we are not able to understand that how international move charges are less than the domestic move.as our goods never went to the dock,no international move happened still we were not refunded any amount, rather we paid 1000usd

We hired movers and packers for a move from Atlanta, GA to Raleigh, NCThe service and quality of service promised was not what was provided
We hired movers and packers for a move from Atlanta, GA to Raleigh, NC beginning The packing and moving was very stressful and we hired "professionals" to minimize stress We have two young children so minimizing stress was our ultimate goal *** Smith was very professional the entire time and made great promises, but then I felt like the execution of everything was completely the opposite of what we were told, which seemed misleading
I have spoke to people at Coleman and they basically told me that they provided a service and there was nothing they could do
Issues with Packing and Moving
Packing April
- people arrived to our home in Atlanta on April (Packing day) They were to pack our entire home and my mother-in-laws condo
- of the packers told us it was their first day They were not preparedThey didn

This move has been a total disasterHad it not been for our realtor half our stuff would have been left behindNow, no one returns calls
Our move (Reference Number: XXXXXX) has been an absolute disasterIt all begin with our packing and loading dateColeman (Allied local branch) sent a truck that was simply NOT large enough to contain all of our household itemsMy family and I were set to depart for our new home in *** the next day so we worked out with the driver to leave them our garage door opener so they could gather the remaining items out of our garage on the next dayUnfortunately, Coleman never came to collect those itemsThey claim they sent a driver out to our house who was unable to get the garage door opener working and so he simply left
Why did we never receive a phone call in this regard? Why didn't Coleman ask us about getting these additional items? It wasn't until our Realtor happened to do a final walk-through on the house prior to closing that we real

I would like to start off by saying that I typically never fill out these things, even when I've had a negative experience However, this tops any experience I've ever had
NEVER will I used this company again! NEVER!
Let's start with the initial consultation with Rod T*** Having never moved before, we were a little overwhelmed with the process At the conclusion of the meeting when he presented the information and asked if we had questions, we responded with "not at this moment," to which he replied 'well you're no fun." This should have been my first clue He also didn't follow up with his promise to drop off boxes at our house on a Tuesday when he was in town I called him and he said he would "try to get them there by the weekend," to which they were never received
The packing men arrived on time and worked their tails off (there were of them) They have been the only positive thing through this entire move They were careful and courteous and answered all the questions I had Although it took them the entirety of a day to pack a sq ft house, they were good
Our moving coordinator contacted us with a move date and final bill A day before the move, we received an email saying that the driver would not be able to haul our truck and they would be in touch when they had a driver.....guess what, we are still waiting Her boss doesn't even have answers for us We've been told they are "short on drivers" this season Well, that would have been nice to know now wouldn't it of?
I have contacted everyone I can think of, every customer service representative, everyone in the local Nebraska office, our attorney general, even the uppety ups I've gotten no where Our belongings are being held hostage in Omaha just sitting in a warehouse We have been told we can go get them but will be charged for the packing and the time it has taken up space in the ware house
If you are considering this company....DON"T DO IT! Spend the extra money to get someone else

Two items were damaged during shipping Allied Van lines did not offer settlement based on actual damage
Inventory item #- Plymouth Auto engine was dropped when loading
The settlement offer did not address the internal damaged done when dropped
Inventory item #- Plymouth Auto engine (high value inventory $8000.00) was suffered external damage and possible internal damage One appraiser that looked at both items, indicated a professional engine rebuilding shop would be needed to determine damage The other appraiser that looked at both items, did not address the internal damage on either item and only appraised the external (visible) damage in the settlement offer
To resolve the claim, both inventory items would require a professional engine rebuilder to remove heads, pan etcto inspect for internal damage I found a professional that would charge $per item to inspect Allied Van lines would not pay to have this inspection done or offer an alternati

Coleman screws over military families, losing crates of beloved items and not holding anyone accountable or reimbursing for missing essentials
Coleman takes advantage of military families for their own profit, accepting more military moves than they are equipped to handle, leaving families stranded for weeks-monthsWhen the Household Goods finally arrive, it is common to find entire crates missing, items destroyed beyond repair due to lack of accountability, and sometimes items are even reported stolen
After our recent PCS (GBL number ***), we received 75% of our things, more or less, about 3+ weeks laterAt origin destination (***), multiple things were done incorrectly and against company policy during our June move-out:
- No inventory done prior to packing, resulting in poorly labeled inventory ("box" or "tote" rather than names for items inside) - families later cannot prove what's missing;
- Head person in charge on moving day refused to list more t

Delivery Issues and Damages
My Name is *** and I am writing to voice my unbelievably bad experience using Coleman Worldwide/Allied for my cross country move I moved from Nebraska to New Jersey so this was not a cheap move including the storage while I found a new home Upon finding a place to live and notifying Coleman in Omaha I was given a estimated delivery date of July 11-13th I called towards the end of June to confirm the balance of my payment was paid and had TWO different people tell me my things were being loaded and ready to ship On July 12th I still had not heard anything from the company as to when my things would be delivered After multiple calls and emails to both Omaha, the destination center in NJ I was not getting answers nor could anyone tell me where my things were at I finally got a hold of someone at corporate who informed me my stuff had not even shipped out of Omaha yet!
Omaha was not answering my calls or emails until corporate interven

Services contracted for were at times not performed and when performed, were performed negligently Driver lied, as did salespersonLots of damage
Case number with credit card company (Barclay): ***, they said while it was clearly negligent they could not handle because service was still performed (I disagreed with their finding that service was performed)
Coleman Claim number: *** I signed BOL under duress while my children were lost on a wrong school bus on first day of school, driver did not care, he just wanted to leave after spending a handful of hours to unload what took days to load I have not cashed their check, I have tried all I can to reason with them
Shipment was loaded on 08/10/and 08/11/and delivered on 8/17/ Coleman asserts I packed items myself, and that the $6,did not include them wrapping or packing any items, and that is the items were damaged In fact, salesperson claimed many items would be wrapped by

I used this company for an interstate move My items were delayed by a month and delivered in multiple shipments without any regard for this
I hired this company for an interstate move They packed my home on 6/26- They loaded the items on 6/ My delivery window was 7/2-7/ I was given no updates so on 7/I reached out to them and was redirected to the truck driver who told me he would not make it in time and was told my items were going into storage Movers arrived on 7/and after unloading several things said "We don't think we have all your stuff." As this was a Saturday I contacted the local office on Monday who could not explain why things were missing but realized that the remaining items were still at the local office After calling daily for updates the things were finally loaded and I received another delivery on 7/ Again after unloading a few things I was told they didn't think they had all my things Again I called the local office who discovered the

Packers brought large backpacks While I stepped out to get them lunch and they left with several high dollar itemsThis was all caught on my house camera and allied refused my loss claimPolice report and a call to state attorney general made them reconsiderTerrible experience

Excessive damage and missing items!!
Over items damaged and missing from a simple move from the Atlanta, Ga area to the Augusta GA area!!
Items seemed to be wrapped and packed correctly as they were loaded onto the truck in Fayetteville, Ga Packers were very polite and items seemed to be cared for
Once they left my house all the damage occurred Items were unwrapped and unpacked at the warehouse Chairs that were wrapped when they left my house were unwrapped and stacked on top of one another in the shipping crate when they arrived Both dining room tables were extensively scratched while in transport Both table were loaded into the shipping containers without being wrapped or protected Both tables, chairs and bench will all have to be refinished or replaced now
Also, some of our items were taken out of boxes with our name and markings on them and packed into boxes from other moves So we ended up getting our items packed in boxes with different last names and descriptions written on them This was a nightmare when trying to inventory what was coming off the truck because the inventory tags were different colors and different numbers Some boxes we never received and other box numbers we had duplicates of
We took pictures of EVERYTHING!!!
As the movers were unloading these shipping containers crammed full of our unwrapped and damaged good we were taking pictures and documenting everything
Side note:
The movers at both ends were extremely polite and professional I bought pizzas for them during packing and the unpacking days because they were so great!!
Its the warehouse and/or transportation that caused all the damage
Now I have a garage full of damaged and broken furniture that I cant throw away because I have filed a claim and am waiting on the payment and I have already had to go buy all this new furniture to replace what was broken So not only am I out of pocket thousands of dollars but cant park in my garage either
When I contacted Coleman to see what the process was they advised me that they could only pay out $as an in house claim and that I would have to file a full claim and wait for any type of reimbursement $would not even cover ONE of the dressers or ONE of the dinning room tables that had been damaged
This was a Military contracted move so all paperwork and documents have been submitted along with pictures
Waiting on someone to contact me with information on how to expedite payment
If you use Coleman be ready to photograph the shipping containers as they are opened on the truck and your broken items are off loaded No idea how many of my items were damaged because I stopping counting and claiming once I got to
I would love for someone who has any information on my claims to contact me!

Trying to make this review short and it is based on personal experience -- unethical companyI would like to start off with saying we are easy going very prepared good people who appreciate service workers by providing cold drinks, cool air, restaurant purchased food, and generous tipsWe are veteran movers and labeled all the boxes accordingly to the room they were being moved into once at the new placeOur items were color coded with numbers or words just in case a worker could not read"DS" the service rep over quoted our moving weight the day he came to give us the estimate.....to make more money upfrontThis was immediately stated the day the driver and crew showed up that we were over quoted in weight and it was proved when the move was completed I saw a copy of the actual weight which was thousands of pounds less than what we were charged forWe had several pieces of furniture and items damaged with the move and YES we did pay for the extra coverageColeman including the service reps "DS" and "PR" never made good on the extra coverage so the employees and company STOLE money from usThey make commission on selling the extra coverageI contacted them through email and text messages with no reply to help me get the process startedOn the day of the move the driver started STRIPPING the screws out of my custom made bed "DS" actually called me to say it would cost US $to have someone come out to get the bed apart since the driver was having problems1st: I was told they could take anything apart, 2nd: It was his fault -- the screws were star shaped and he knew it before taking the bed apartBUT the driver in the end was cool and worked with us, the bed has mismatched screws but at least he attempted to fix it with an apologyI filled a complaint here on Revdex.com and it has been "resolved" in their favor why or how I do not know considering they overestimated and stole from usThroughout the process Coleman either wouldn't reply or delayed responding.....what does that say about themAnd again since I am an organized person I submitted the quote, the pic of the actual weight, and the unanswered emails and texts....apparently they do not care of integrity or upholding their customer valuesI WILL NEVER use them again because of how unethical they are, they did not only steal from adults but children as well and could care less how they treat peopleDo not think you can call the 1-number for assistance either that is a dead end they tell you to contact your local agent of which I did several times in a professional courteous manner and nothing in reply

The moving company does not deliver on their service promises
We are moving from KY to MAThey were supposed to deliver our belongings between Sun 6/and Thurs 6/This was their delivery windowWe decided to call and check in on our items on Mon to check statusWe were told the truck hadnt left KY yet and that it was their "busy season"They were trying to find a driverSaid our belongings would be delivered in the windowCalled again yesterday to get update, now stating they wont make the delivery windowGot an email last night stating perhaps they can get the truck to MA in Sat but cannot give us our belongings until next weekUnbelievable poor customer service and dishonestyI feel lied toI could go on and on about the hardship this brings not having our belongingsI am writing this complaint now, given that we are still in our delivery window until tomorrow in hopes that someone will read this and try to make it rightYou have day to still deliver and be in the

Charged us TWICEAwful customer service, don't return communication, didn't complete job & refusal to compensate for inconveniences and broken items
I scheduled a day move with this company more than days before the move date The representative, Rod Sweeney, didn't come out to our house to survey our belongings, as they had moved us just months prior and he estimated the same amount of timedays, 6/and 6/ Shortly after this, I was asked to secure our move with a deposit of 100% of the estimated cost, $ I questioned this with our Move Coordinator, ***, and she assured me that our credit card would not be charged until after the move was completedThis was just a deposit, she said! So I completed the online payment instructions The next days were a nightmare...they didn't deliver boxes or packing paper as promised I had to call, email, call, multiple times to get any sort of a response They finally delivered everything about weeks bef

Ascertained Coleman Worldwide Moving, LLC to facilitate full service move from Seattle, WA to Atlanta, GA, and extensive damage done to property
I hired Coleman Worldwide Moving to facilitate a full-service move from my home in Seattle, WA to Atlanta, GA The move included full packing of all of my belongings, loading, transit and unloading of my property My property was not properly wrapped and protected during the move, resulting in multiple destroyed items and extensive damage to my furniture Additionally, a number of high value items were stolen (lost) during the move I escalated the concerns immediately to Coleman specifically regarding the high value items which were stolen A few days following the delivery of the belongings a few additional boxes were "found" and some items returned, however, a number of items have yet to be returned Additionally, I escalated the extensive damage to the Quality Manager at Coleman and was assured the matter would be handled promptly
