Services contracted for were at times not performed and when performed, were performed negligently Driver lied, as did salespersonLots of damage
Case number with credit card company (Barclay): ***, they said while it was clearly negligent they could not handle because service was still performed (I disagreed with their finding that service was performed)
Coleman Claim number: *** I signed BOL under duress while my children were lost on a wrong school bus on first day of school, driver did not care, he just wanted to leave after spending a handful of hours to unload what took days to load I have not cashed their check, I have tried all I can to reason with them
Shipment was loaded on 08/10/and 08/11/and delivered on 8/17/ Coleman asserts I packed items myself, and that the $6,did not include them wrapping or packing any items, and that is the items were damaged In fact, salesperson claimed many items would be wrapped by

This move has been a total disasterHad it not been for our realtor half our stuff would have been left behindNow, no one returns calls
Our move (Reference Number: XXXXXX) has been an absolute disasterIt all begin with our packing and loading dateColeman (Allied local branch) sent a truck that was simply NOT large enough to contain all of our household itemsMy family and I were set to depart for our new home in *** the next day so we worked out with the driver to leave them our garage door opener so they could gather the remaining items out of our garage on the next dayUnfortunately, Coleman never came to collect those itemsThey claim they sent a driver out to our house who was unable to get the garage door opener working and so he simply left
Why did we never receive a phone call in this regard? Why didn't Coleman ask us about getting these additional items? It wasn't until our Realtor happened to do a final walk-through on the house prior to closing that we real

Similar to a previous poster, we were assigned this company for our military moveDue to our location, we were assigned to the Jessup, MD branch of the companyI have never met movers so rude and worthlessThe general manager, Rick D*** has to be the most unprofessional manager there isSomehow, it was decided that two 60-year olds to pack all of our stuffFor perspective, we are a family of and were living in a large story home with bedrooms, bathroomsOur house was cluttered but far from "disgusting" as described by Thelma, one of the movers they sentShe went out to her truck, called Rick (the manager) and refused to come back inWhen I spoke with Rick, he was extremely rude and said he'd be sending quality control to our house and if it really was as disgusting as described, he'd see to it that we were cancelledRick explained to me that I needed to be considerate of the fact that our movers were older and had some knee and back issues and to help them as much as I could *if* they came back in after quality control leftLast time I checked, it is not the responsibility of the clients to do the job of the employees! If they were in such a position to need that help, why were they sent in the first place?!
Quality control cameLow and behold, our house was....that's right....just fineThere was no reason for anyone to refuse to pack anything
Looking back, I wish we would have just told Thelma to get the hell out of our houseOur year olds could have done a better job with much nicer attitudes
This woman had the nerve to pack my husbands wedding band he had left sitting by the sinkWell, sort ofIt's yet to be foundThe box she had listed it as being packed in was unpacked and gone through many times with no sign of the ringAs if that wasn't bad enough, she only went on to further demonstrate her amazing packing skills!
She wrapped a inch, plastic, doll house toy in pieces of packing paper and taped all the way around it
Seriously, the number of boxes we opened to find things like this was almost unfathomable! Not to mention the boxes we opened to discover she had just thrown everything in
Moral of my review: if you EVER have to choose a moving company from the Jessup/DMV area, pick anyone else or do it yourself! My husbands wedding band is still missing and so many of our things have been discovered broken

Our household goods was picked up in *** ** June 26th, Originally is was to be delivered between the first and tenth That was changed by them between the ninth and seventeenth Today is July 22nd and we find it was shipped yesterday because we called to ask where it was At the time it was still in *** I am handicapped and use a walker most the time If it entails a lot of walking, I use a wheel chair which was shipped I need it!

days past the promised delivery date, and refusing to pay the promised reimbursements
Delivered days late past the guaranteed delivery date, lied when they would answer the phone about where the furniture was and when it would be delivered, promised reimbursement for lodging, food and incidentals directly related to the delay Have now refused the reimbursement We requested a refund of part of the 10,paid due to the dishonest service, and were denied

Moving company broke my refrigerator, and does not help to resolve the issue Weeks without a refrigerator because of this company.Broken items, smashes boxes, missing items, refrigerator broken I would have been willing to work with them, but they are of zero help after I paid thousands of dollars
Product_Or_Service: cross country move

We scheduled a move with these folks and it was admittedly a bit complicated as they had to pick up our things, put them in storage for weeks, and then move them to our new homeWe only moved miles from one side of Atlanta to the other, but apparently that was too much That meant that everything was essentially touched twice as many times; unfortunately the result for us was A LOT of damaged furniture, our best furniture! Chief among the damaged items was our expensive cherry china cabinet that had one entire corner broken off The end of our dining table look liked it had been dragged across the pavementThis was previously a pristine dining room set of heirloom quality cherryIts not anymore and will never be and that was perhaps the most precious expensive furniture they moved Three separate end tables were seriously damaged: one all but destroyed with two of the four legs ripped off it, another looked like the corner was drug across the ground, and the other chipped up in several places One of our kitchen chairs with arms, had an arm broken off, and our cherry office desk was just entirely laid waste in pieces and the desktop ripped off and scratched upThe desk was merely left in pieces in our new basementand it appears to be history In addition, several boxes of dishware looked to be flattened somehow and the contents broken SAD! I had actually relied upon Allied to move us when I was in the Air Force, always with excellent resultsSadly that is no longer the case, I will never uses these guys again I was also mislead on the billing, as they promised me they would refund the cost of a shuttle if it was not used, and yet no shuttle was used however they never refunded me the $as promised We've filed a claim for the ruined furniture, but there is simply no way to really return my wife's dear heirloom dining room furniture to its previous pristine stateThey also dont really seem to care about the damage and have done absolutely nothing to help fix it or provide any suggestions whatsoever, except of course send a form I was told a QA inspector would be at the pickup and at the delivery to insure the quality of the moves; yet none ever showed up, nor has one ever contacted us after the fact to help us get our furniture that they destroyed fixed or replaced I am thoroughly disappointed! Let me emphasize thatthese guys were a huge dissapointement on how they cared for our furniture Merely moving it is not enoughit needs to arrive in the same condition it left, and on that level they failed!

The moving company does not deliver on their service promises
We are moving from KY to MAThey were supposed to deliver our belongings between Sun 6/and Thurs 6/This was their delivery windowWe decided to call and check in on our items on Mon to check statusWe were told the truck hadnt left KY yet and that it was their "busy season"They were trying to find a driverSaid our belongings would be delivered in the windowCalled again yesterday to get update, now stating they wont make the delivery windowGot an email last night stating perhaps they can get the truck to MA in Sat but cannot give us our belongings until next weekUnbelievable poor customer service and dishonestyI feel lied toI could go on and on about the hardship this brings not having our belongingsI am writing this complaint now, given that we are still in our delivery window until tomorrow in hopes that someone will read this and try to make it rightYou have day to still deliver and be in the

When we interviewed the salesperson (*** *** to move our furniture from Fayetteville, GA to our new home in *** ***, FL, He promised us a per cent reduction in cost because I am retired military He said all we had to do was show my retired military ID card to the driver at the time of delivery I showed my military ID card to the driver at the completion of our furniture delivery as instructed
After a few days when we had not heard anything from the moving company, we called and talked to *** She informed us that she did not know of a policy to reduce our bill by percent She promised to check with management and get back to usAfter hours when she didn't call us back we called *** again She informed us that her manager didn't know of such a policy We suggested she talk to the salesperson (*** *** and find out what was going on The next day when she didn't call us back we called her back to find out what MrCorley had to say Her response

I had watches and a necklace stolen by employees of the company when performing packing services
I hired Coleman Allied to assist with packing and moving my belongings from Houston, TX to Irvine, CA on Sept26, I was informed by the company that items within drawers would not need to be removed for the transport I had Movado watches and a necklace within my nightstand prior to the packers and movers arriving to my residence When my items arrived in Irvine, CA, both watches and necklace were missing, but their respective boxes were still within the nightstand I filed a police report as well as claim form to the company but for some reason no investigation into this matter ever occurred Coleman Allied is refusing to take responsibility for their employees stealing my watches and necklaces and I haven't received any compensation for my losses

Coleman American Moving moved my furniture into my garage while my floors were being repairedThey damaged my wood TV console
12/11/The movers damaged my wood TV console by leaving multiple deep gouges and scratches on the front

Carrier altered documents after signed by shipper, driver completed Inventory Tally Sheet without input from shipper, over-charged for packing
Complaint involves a move from South Carolina to Ohio in August of
Carrier added numbers to the Addendum to Bill of Lading & Freight Bill after the document signed by shipper;
Charges for more boxes "Carrier Packed" than numbers reported on Household Good Descriptive Inventory sheets;
Numbers for items delivered on Inventory Tally Sheets completed by driver without input from shipper differ from those checked by shipper upon delivery (and Inventory Tally Sheets not provided to shipper until several months after the move and noted that several items that never left the origin were delivered); insurance claim denied on the basis of these incorrect Inventory Tally Sheets;
Coleman/*** has not responded to phone calls, emails, and certified letters inquiring about these issues and/or requesting additional information

move was quoted for 11,pds when in fact totaled only 7,pdsContract options were no explained to usStill have not received claim form
Received an estimate for our furniture to be moved from *** a moving consultant in the Fairburn GA office to our home in FL We have moved a good bit over years of marriage and have used this van line before with no problemThis time it is another story: I was informed there would be order to the move furniture first then boxes upon load, then out with furniture first then boxes upon arrival -- this didn't happen which isn't a stand alone deal breaker to use this company againI was also told that if there was a problem to let him know immediately because they "claim to make it right due to the military/government contracts" they have and they do not want a low star rating for this reasonMy feeling is that I have just been scammed out of hard earned moneyOn the day of arrival of our furniture to the new place of residence w

Relocation from *** to ***
What started out as what was thought to be a routine family relocation turned out to be a nightmare ending with poor customer serviceThe packers arrived at our home in Augusta GAWho I thought was very professional (at that time) through out the day they begin to tell me what was there job to pack and the loaders jobThey packed up items I told them not to pack and when I had them reopen the box they seemed frustrated Day loaders arrived and third party and began to load my items Third party tried to leave without completing the job they were paid to do stating they had other jobs Loaders showed me items such as bedding that was not packed up by packersUpon arrival at our new home in ***s It was discovered items and parts missing and a parts box that was created by Jackie only had the items that was placed in there by myself which was my grandfather clock pieces she advised me that it was f

My experience with Coleman Allied has been a nightmare, from beginning to end!
My family just relocated from FL to GA Before our move, my husband solicited quotes from professional moving companies for a few reasons: we had accumulated quite a bit of personal belongings since our last move, my husband didn't want to have to load and unload the contents himself, and we wanted to ensure that our items did not incur damage
The rep that came to do out quote was very professional and well-spoken, and in the end, we chose to do business with Allied Van Lines That was the end of our positive experience The day of the move, a 16ft box truck arrives We had reserved a semi After waiting around for hours hoping for a resolution, we finally agree to let them load our belongings As expected, we had a lot of overflow We were told that a second truck would come the next morning at 8:00am to finish gathering and loading our things Well, the next day at 4pm, the driver ca

General Manager *** did not fulfill the agreement of the government contact
It start when the moving company (Coleman) called me on May to say that they would not be able to deliver unaccompanied goodsThis would not be delivered until June which originally should been deliver three weeks after pick up April I had to go to location to get my goodsI was contacted again to inform me of a delay with the household goodsThese items had a addition days delivery of July The workers (*** and *** the driver) were AWESOME workersI would recommend this work crew to any and all associatesThan there was one piece of equipment not put together, the exercise machine, which the worker called, about 11am, way in advance that morning, to inform the General Manager ***A lady (*** as I recall her name) called me to inform me that she would send someone to put the machine back togetherLater the evening as thing were getting wrapped up, I ask t

Repeated unauthorized charges to my bank account
I have had repeated UNAUTHORIZED charges against my checking account from this companyMy most recent payment to this company was paid December 4th in the amount of $and I SPECIFICALLY put in the comments section "This is not a recurring paymentThis is a regular payment for ***The ONLY amount authorized is $500.00."
But TODAY on the 23rd of December they pulled an additional $dollars from my bank account! Now my wife and I have a negative account balance in our bank account two days before Christmas

We had contracted Allied to move us from *** From the first day of their arrival to move us to the last item unpacked in Louisiana there was nothing except misinformation, unreturned phone calls, damaged items and lastly the fight with the insurance company to pay us for the broken and damage furniture and items which happens to be owned by Allied It was the worst move we have ever had Granted it was a complicated move butthat what's we paid for I could never recommend them to anyone
Product_Or_Service: Moving

Moving agent overestimated the move, said he'd be at the loading to adjust if necessary, never showed and overcharged by nearly $
Moving agent overestimated our load by 2,lbs - information given to us by his own officeStated he'd personally supervise the loading and adjust the weight if necessary as we specifically told him we'd be taking many of the items ourselvesNever heard from him after contractingUnlike all other moving contracts, he used the wrong one for our move which locked us into a price inflated by nearly $Contact at the office gave us the information that we were overcharged and weight was grossly over-inflated but "graciously" gave us $offWe cancelled the second stop and refused to pay the additional chargeWe have now paid them the inflated amount, overpaid $800, so that we can get our furniture
