I placed a large order with Pier One in April. I received an email on April 27th confirming my order was processing. Since then, I have contacted Pier One by phone and get disconnected after the intro and I enter the number to be connected to customer service. I try to connect in "chat" only to wait in qeue, usually starting at a high number, getting down to number 1 in qeue only to be rerouted to a another number! When it reaches 1 in qeue again, it disconnects.
I do not believe Pier One should continue taking orders, processing the credit card and then not shipping the items ordered or being available for customer service!! We move in to our new home this week and had planned to have our furniture according to what was advertised. We want confirmation of when our items will be delivered. If one item is holding up the order, then we want to split the order to get items in stock!! We don't know what is going on as we have had good customer service in the past. This is not good business and should not continue.

I placed an order with Pier 1 for an outdoor dining table and chairs. I received one tracking number via UPS for this shipment, however one package of two chairs arrived on Friday 5/15/20, and then three more packages arrived on Monday 5/18/20 for a total of four packages. All of the chairs have been received, however ONLY the table top arrived. The front of the table top box states that it is box 1 of 2, and after extensive research, I have found that the table base should arrive in a separate box. I spent hours on the phone with UPS, but because I was only provided ONE tracking number, they have not been able to locate the 5th box!! According to the Pier 1 account page, my order has arrived in entirety- except that this is not the case!! I have tried to contact Pier 1 at numerous different phone numbers, online chat, etc. only to be disconnected if I can get through. Most often I get a recording stating that the number is not in use or user is busy. I do not know what to do!!!! Had I known when I ordered this weeks ago that Pier 1 was in financial trouble, I would not have ordered from them!!!! I just want the remaining package since this was paid in full!!!!

I purchased a Pier I Braddington Extension Table in Natural on 3/18/2020 and paid $791.24 for which I have a receipt. It was to be picked up at the South Portland Maine store but the store closed due to COVID 19 and I have not been able to retrieve it. I cannot contact anyone at Pier 1 through any avenue. I need the table shipped to me immediately or I need to be reimbursed. Order # is

I ordered a 3 piece patio set from Pier One as well as a rug, and some laterns. I received the rug very quickly, and a few days later I received the seating for the patio set but no table. I was only given one tracking number for the whole set, and it says it was delivered. It has been nearly a week since the seating was delivered and still no sign of the table that I paid for. I have made several attempts to contact customer support via phone and email, and after countless hours on hold I am told noone is available to take my call. In addition to the missing table, the other products that have not arrived yet are still listed as "processing" on my order and it has been almost 2 weeks. With the news coming out that Pier One is closing all stores I am questioning on if I will ever receive the items I purchased.

If you purchase any items online be cautious that it won't be there in the time line it says....if it even shows up at all!

On May 11th I placed an online order for six items: a dining room table base, four complimentary chairs, and a throw. Before placing the order I attempted to call the company multiple times on both of their listed customer service numbers, I texted their text chat, and attempted to use the online chat. After the automated call receiver hung up on me multiple times and waiting for over an hour on the online chat to receive an unavailable message, I decided to place my order. My one concern I hoped to discuss was ensuring that delivery of al the items could be accomplished within 3 and a half weeks as I will be moving, but I dismissed the contact issues to be network problems and the strains of COVID-19. Upon placing the order I was charged and received a confirmation email. At the end of that same week I received my throw and today my four chairs arrived. However, the dining room table base has not been shipped and the it’s status is listed as processing. On May 18th I revived an automated email that stated adjustments were made at the distribution center that have resulted in my order being delayed. Each day for three days I have waited on the online chat for an hour to receive the same “no attendent is available” message, called the company to be hung up on— sometimes even after waiting on the phone for half an hour or more— or receive busy tones, and continually attempt to utilize the text chat feature. Working with a multitude of other companies (Crate and Barrel, Ashley Homestore, local retailers, and others) during this same timeframe I have not experienced any similar issues. I simply desire to speak with a customer service agent to determine how long the delay will be and discuss an alternative arrangement (refund or different shipping address depending on the potential delivery date) should the delay exceed beyond the first week of June.

I ordered something online through Pier One and need to return it. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach them by phone. I have been attempting for 3 weeks. Not chat available. Having phone issues also.

We ordered an outdoor table set from Pier1 on May 3rd. It is now the 19th and we have had no contact from Pier1 regarding delivery of our items. We have reached out via the chat and customer service phone line multiple times, only to be dropped at the last minute or kept on hold for hours. We cannot cancel the order or get confirmation of a planned delivery.

Placed a large order for (6) Chairs on April 30. Outside of my order confirmation, I have receive no further communication regarding the processing / delivery of my order. I have made several attempts to reach Pier1 customer service through both their online CHAT (with extended wait times) and phone calls to their customer service help line. Both have been unsuccessful in reaching any support due to busy signals and constant disconnection of call and/or chat. This company continues to falsely advertise daily and unable to fulfill any pending orders. Their customer service does NOT exist to handle consumer orders and order resolutions. Their business operation continues to cross the line of criminal action as they continue to send daily "SALE" advertisements and collect money for goods they do not ship and services they fail to provide.

I purchased some furnitures on 05/17/2020 online when I tried to applied some coupon it didn’t accept them. When I clicked the Ok for confirm the order I didn’t realized the stand for the egg swing chair about it wasn’t the color I selected and I tried to call customer service about 10 times different days and times and no answer. I need to get my order fix before my credit card get charged for this purchased which is over $1000. I waited twice for almost 2 hours and then I got disconnected. I understand we are going for difficult time but I’m worry my credit card get charged for items that I didn’t want.

I received damaged product. Last week after several attempts to reach anyone I finally got through and a Chat agent finally seemed to help a little. I was told to send pictures and a video, which I did and they got back and said they would refund 25% of the purchase price when they heard back from me. I have emailed; attempted calling and waited in the Chat line with 375 people ahead of me twice only to get disconnected on when it is finally my turn. So how do I “get back with them?” I am wondering if they have shut their doors completely? I received items that look like floor models with edges worn and permanent marker marks on the wood. Literally used.

I placed an order on May 6, 2020. I have tried calling several
Times and emailed customer relations on May 14, 2020 with no response.
When you call you either get a busy signal, a message they are closed even though the call is during their normal business hours, you get hung up on, your wait time is over three hours, and therefore I have not been able to connect with an associate. It is May 19 and I have not heard when my items are going to ship and I cannot connect with anybody at pier one whether it is by email or by phone.

There is no way to contact this business and they have REMOVED contact information from their website since the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously- this website provided e-mail information so that existing customers could contact them. They have now made it nearly impossible to contact anyone in regard to their account. Is this legal for them to REMOVE information that I previously used to contact? I do not understand why they have intentionally made it more difficult to communicate? I was number 300+ in the que and waited nearly 30-minutes on-line for assistance in regard to my account and then canceled. I do not understand why they have made it so difficult for customers to communicate with them and why they are hanging up all their calls and canceling their chats. They have cut off EVERY form of communication that used to be accessible to their customers.

I placed an order with Pier 1 on 3/22/20. I have reached out multiple times through email, phone and chat. Their forms of communication are not going through. I’ve waited on hold for hours or chat until it tells me there are no agents available. My order number is *** I was missing item number *** and 2 of item number ***.. one of the napkin rings was also broken item number 4171704. I would like my items that I paid for shipped or a return of my money.

I placed an order thru Pier One online on 4/27/2020. One of the items I never even received. I am wanting to return the items for a refund and are by all means I am not able to get through to a representative to process the refund. I have called every support number and tried all options to press in the automatic voice recording to be told they’re closed, or hung up on, or opted to wait 3hrs to be told there are no agents try again. I have tried via there text chat option waiting in a queue of 350+ to be told after waiting they aren’t available. I would like to be contacted by a associate to be able to process my order for a refund.

On 5/4 I placed an online order for 3 items totaling more than $500. Part of the order came in a reasonable amount of time but I received an email saying the rest of the order would be delayed. I understand that we are in trying times so the delay would have been fine IF I was given a new estimated delivery date. But the email said nothing about a new date. I went online to track my order and once again, their is no info regarding a projected delivery date. I have tried calling numerous times only to get disconnected. I have tried the online chat and waited for hours only to be told that there aren’t any agents available. I understand that things are crazy right now but if Pier1 cannot handle orders during this time, then they should close their doors until they are in a better position. It’s just ludicrous to take people’s money be completely unavailable for any type of communication.

I am rejecting this response because:

The company states that they are working with me but that is false. The only correspondence I received was an email stating that they will look into it and provide me with an update, but they did not provide a time frame for this to occur. At this point I ordered the item (table base) 3 weeks ago. They have recently updated their site to state that shipping takes 2 weeks but not only am I past that timeframe, I ordered several weeks before this new shipping update. In addition, I had to order a glass top from another company which has been delivered. I cannot unwrap the glass table top because there is no place to put it and my fear is that by the time I get the bases and am able to open the glass top, the glass may be damaged but by then it will be past the return time. I have tried calling and waiting for the online chat but I am never able to get anyone on the line. For these reasons I am simply requesting to cancel my order and have my refund processed.

I have tried to return an item that was misrepresented on the web. In order to return the item the consumer needs to contact Pier One customer service. After trying on the phone (they continually drop the call or are busy) and trying to chat (i get to the end of the queue and then there is no agent available) for the past two days I am frustrated. I am even more frustrated when I get the daily sale email from Pier One, making false claims that you can return products..

I placed an order online on May 6th but have not gotten an email about it shipping yet. I called customer service multiple times only to find a voicemail that says they aren’t taking calls or that there is a minimum of a 3 hour wait time. I went on the live chat option of the website where I was cr 435 in the queue. Once I got to number one, it said there was no customer rep to talk to me and to try again later.

I really love shopping at Pier 1. I know they are about to close due to bankruptcy and COVID-19 has turned everything upside-down. However, if you cannot support online ordering, then don't offer it. I received an order 2 weeks ago with a vase that arrived smashed. I have been trying to chat and call for 2 weeks but cannot get through. I wait in a long chat queue and when I get to the front am told there are no chat agents. I call and am hung up on my the recorded prompts.
