I have three gift cards in the amount of $25. each, which is $75. in total. I could not use them at my local Pier One store. I don't believe it's right for the gift cards to be worthless. What course of action am I left to take?
I have at least $300 in Pier One gift cards that were given to me by family members. I cannot believe that Pier One stores are open and selling merchandise yet they now say all gift cards are deemed to have no value. How is this legal? This seems incredibly shady and unethical.
I purchased 2 items (desk and outdoor rug) which required $169 "white glove delivery" on 6/26. I have been charged $585.97 and have not received them. I contacted Pier 1 support who has told me Ryder Last Mile hasn't unpacked the boxes. Ryder says they have not received them. I received an email on 7/20 saying "items sent to the carrier for delivery" and it may take 5-7 business days to arrive at Ryder. I believe these items are lost.

I have a gift card at Pier 1 to use which had 40.00 dollars on it and was rudely told I could not use it. I was not notified and the stores are still filled with merchandise and some junk, so what is the problem they just stole my money. I never have had a problem like this bad customer service. Also I read that Pier 1 may reopen a online store and won't accept the gift card which is another blow to them honoring the gift card.
I have a $50 Pier One gift certificate that I wasn't able to use when I went to the Pier One store in July 2020. The website did not state a date that they were no longer going to be accepting gift cards but when I went to the store I was denied.
I have a $100 gift card that I cannot use because Pier 1 is claiming the gift cards have no value. There was a $100 cash value to this card before Pier 1's claim. I did not know I would be basically donating $100 to pier 1. I would like my money back or an opportunity to use this gift card in a store. It still has value to the person who spent their time working to earn income to purchase this gift card. I do not understand where this unearned revenue would show up on an income statement
I have a $100 gift card that I received and I was not aware that I could not use it in the store during their closing sale. I stayed away from stores due to the COVID pandemic and when I was finally able to go to the store I discovered this sad situation. It is very disappointing that my hard earned money has been wasted. I would be perfectly content to be able to use it in the door -- same as cash -- which benefits Pier 1. But no luck.
I ordered two of the same tables in separate orders at two different prices. In June, I purchased a dining room table online and never received an order confirmation. The order never showed up on my bank card, so I reorder the table at a lowest price online a few weeks later. I was emailed in mid July that two tables would be delivered. I call Pier 1 to cancel the first order that was at a higher price and that I never received a confirmation receipt for in June. I was instructed to refuse delivery since the products were already in route, and expect a refund. When the tables were delivered, I refused one table that was correlated to the higher priced order and accepted the other. I was later refunded the amount for the incorrect table which was the table that was at a deeper discount. I want the refund from the higher priced table. The tables are duplicates but different prices. Pier 1 refused to reverse the charges and make any corrections.
Greetings, We have reached out to the customer and explained our process that we are
having to follow, after filing for Chapter 11. Thank you, Pier 1 Imports
Unable to use gift card, that was issued from a return of a purchase made at the Pier1 store.
I have a gift card that the business refused to honor. They stores are operating and you can purchase with every other means but not with Gift card.
I have a giftcard for Pier 1 that they are no longer honoring. They said that it could only be used 30 days after they opened back up from their covid closure. How is that fair? I should be able to get my money back.
I received almost $1000.00 Pier 1 gift cards from family and friends. During late 2019 and earlier this year , pre COVID 19, I used all except one in the amount of $50. I am considered high risk so I did not go back into the Pier 1 store until early July, however, I frequently browsed the website. Also, I called a few times and the recorded message listed all services, promo, etc that were no longer available and there was no mention that gift cards would no longer be accepted after July 1, 2020, and they waited until the last minute to post this on their website. I learned of this inside a store. "This Gift Card has no expiration date and value may be added at any time", is printed on the back of the card. How can they legally refuse to accept Pier 1 gift cards. They still have stores open and I want to use my card or be reimbursed $50.00. Unable to reach a live person at Fort Worth Headquarters. I need help before the stores close.
I had a merchandise card for $117.08 from Pier-1 received on 9/25/2019 in exchange of return. After we learned regarding bankruptcy, we went to one of store to buy but we were told that store cannot honor these merchandise cards anymore and advise us to contact customer support. We tried many times but of no use.
I have $125.00 of Pier 1 gift cards in which I just found out are no longer accepted and I was NOT notified.
I was given over $200 in gift cards for my birthday from my kids prior to Covid 19 and I was told today that they are no longer accepting them because they have no “value”. They sure had *** value when they took our money. What kind of company is still open and selling out their products, but won’t accept a gift card? It down right low and wrong. They will constantly be getting bad reviews from me on the daily. They are an awful company. And I’m glad they went under.
I have $63 worth of Pier 1 Gift card with me. Pier 1 is completely closing down by Sept 1,2020. They are not letting me use this money towards any purchases. I feel that my hard earned money is going down the drain.THIS IS NOT FAIR!!! Please help.
I have a pier 1 Import gift card with $50 on it. I was trying to purchase items and was told I could not use it in the store and to just throw it away.
That’s money being thrown down the drain. So not right
I went to utilize 2 gift cards that clearly state have no expiration date, to be rudely told they would not honor the gift card. Apparently I was supposed to know they had a 30 day cut-off date for using. They are accepting money from customers at stores, but not accepting the gift card that was purchased. How is this legal, to take money for gift cards, but then not honor them when they are clearly still doing business.
I ordered a cabinet online and was charged $169.00 for the white glove delivery service to have the furniture delivered and set up in my room of choice. Delivery companies are currently not entering homes past the front door threshold. There was no other delivery option available, and I paid for a service that wasn’t performed. I’ve tried to contact Pier 1, and I’ve been on hold several times without being able to get through to talk to anyone.
Greetings, We have reached out to the customer and waiting for a call back. Thank you, Pier 1 Imports
I have a $100 gift card for my birthday and was not notified that due to the business closure, I am unable to use it. I would like a refund for this cash value. Thank you.
