Duke combined my accounts from my new apt and old apt with out my knowledge On October 26th I called duke to have my power turned off at my apartment in kissimmee because I was moving to champions gate and had power turned on thereThey said the power would be turned off and a bill would be sent for my apt in KissimmeeWell now in December I get a bill for $due because they never turned off the electric at my apartment in kissimmee which I was billed for November even though I didnt live thereI have spent days calling, hours on the phoneThe people who work at duke are not even documenting my phone calls, they are very rude and have hung up on me multiple timesI had asked to speak to a manger and the person working at Duke energy refused to transfer me to a manager and said she would just hang upThe Duke energy representative also admitted to combining my new account and old account with out my permissionThis needs to be fixed

Power shut off 10am no warningNo noticeNo call or emailPaid bill and reported at 1033amStill no power over hours later I was away all week on vacation forgot or just missed the billFirst time everThey just shut off my power without warning of any kindNo phone calls not a knock at the door, no call text or email I immediately run to make a payment within a half hour of this, call it in and provide the receipt number at 1033am 11/It is now 6pm..and I am still without powerIts hot, I havent been able to cook anything the entire day! I made an online payment to Duke on the evening of 3/8/ Shortly after payment was made, I received receipt confirmation that payment of $was received (it was also deducted from my checking on evening of 3/8) I contacted Duke's offices a few days later to make sure payment was received/posted/applied accordingly to my account and was told by Sergio in Duke's billing department that payment was received and it cleared on 3/9, nothing is owed/past due, and account is current/up-to-date and I don't owe anything until next month (April) Per [redacted] 's customer service department, Duke gave initial authorization on March but never submitted final charge to [redacted] so, therefore, the original hold fell off system and amount was never deducted....not until twelve (12) days later, which resulted in overdraft fess because I was continuously making debit card purchases assuming that the original Duke payment of $had been paid and satisfied when, in reality a

Duke Energy sent me a past due notice threatening to shut off my power [redacted] even though I paid the [redacted] the date it was due I called to discuss this and was told that this letter was generated automaticallyIt is a violation to send a past due notice to a customer who paid their [redacted] on timeIf this is indeed a system generated letter, you may want to consider a system enhancement that looks at when payments are initiated and not when they are processed in your systemI'm sure this is a rampant problem with Duke Energy and I'm going to do everything I can to shed light on this problem
