It is mandatory to have online billing to see usage
I have 12KW solar array on my roof and I'm using the charts and info from Duke energy's website to educate my self, also track/improve my usageIn Duke Energy's new website I'm no longer able to view my electrical services usage detailsI was told on the phone that this is now reserved to only customers who are enrolled in the online billing system and I will not be able to see any details, unless I enroll into online billing
Since when receiving my bill via regular mail is wrong and we (people who don't want online billing) are treated differently?
My system has produced over Mega-watts since installed, which is the equivalent of over trees, so I don't think saving the trees is in the root of the company's decision to mistreat its customers

I have been a valued customer of Duke Energy for the last yearsI received a bill with a returned charge, and it was a simple mistakeWe paid the bill online and there were a problem with the account number and the bank sent the check back and we got charged a $return feeI called the company and they said they could not do anything to get the return fee waivedI explained to the representative the situation and I request and a copy of the transaction they said they could not provide itThe Customer service rep and the supervisor was not helpful at allI just needed the transaction count number to ensure it was a fault of mine I also asked could they do an inquiry with there bank to to get the information and they refused toI contacted my bank and they informed me that they never received a transaction from duke in re-gards to the transactionThey would not transfer me to anyone higher so I resorted to going through this process

Yesterday, May 13, at about pm the power went out in the neighborhood (about homes) I didn't count themit involved four streets
A crew came out to look at the issue and told us that the power would be out until midnight!
Today, May 14th the power came back on at am! That's hours!
I talked to the foreman and he told me that they had to come from Tallahassee, because no one in this area wanted to work overnight This incidence happened in Belleair Beach, FL (Clearwater area)
Do I have to mention, that it's degrees inside the house, with the windows open? Do I have to mention, that the food spoiled in the fridge?
We received confusing messages form the maintenance department:
Power will be out until 11:59pm
outage caused by equipment damage
crews working
We apologize while we continue to assess damage
at 7am: crew is enroute
then we called and talked to a human robot -that was no help-
We were giving the run-aroundUnbelievable!

The answer from Duke at the end was, no the Electrician is not licensed, but the subcontractor is
My question wasn't answered with a yes or a no, but at the end, Duke Energy as the responsible contract giver , gives those contracts to companies which hold a license, but send out people whiteout license
That means, in case my house *** burn up because of the license electrician, who is responsible, and who is paying for the desaster
