Duke Energy is refusing to refund my deposit after two years of good service as they promised When I moved into my current address duke energy required I pay a deposit in order to get the serviceI was told as long as I didnt have any service disruptions due to non payment, it would be refunded to me in years timeNow they are refusing to refund it stating I received late notices and that disqualifies me which is not what they originally told meI have made several attempts to have them change the date my [redacted] is due from the end of the month to the first week of the month as thats when my budget allows me to make paymentsThey have refused all requests

After signing up for budget billing and closing our account to transfer services, we reveived a LARGE bill with no resolution. Earlier this year we signed up for budget billing. When we initially called to get more information we were told it was a cost savings program for customers to save money over the year by spreading out bills as opposed to paying different amounts each month. Budgets are recalculated every 3 months according to usage. We recently moved and transferred our services to a new address, which closes out the previous address' account. Our budget for Feb 2017-May 2017 was 142 per month. From June to present it dropped to 132/month.
