concern, your door is under warranty. I cannot, however, warranty damage that was caused by your employee forcing the door closed and causing damage. Had your employee called us when the issue arose, we would have happily been there and assisted with closing the door and repairing any issues or defects of our product. The young woman who contacted us to schedule the service appointment stated the door had been making noise for some time, but no one called us to investigate these concerns before there was a failure. I can assure you we would have been there the same day these issues were first found and addressed them. very satisfied with the service

My garage door opener broke on a holiday weekend. I didn't realize that Precision would come out anytime to help. I will remember should I have a need again. I called on Monday morning and within 2 hours a tech was here to see what needed
to be done to fix my door. He told me what the repairs would be and the cost and it was done in 45 minutes. He also showed me how to maintain the door to prevent repairs. He checked for discounts on my service and applied one to my bill. I was very satisfied with Precision Door Service.

Great service, fast, complete plus clean up after the job was finished.

I would like to thank everyone at Precision Door Service for their prompt and courteous service. From the receptionist to Jey the service technician everything was done in a very professional manner. Jey was a busy young man from the time he arrived until he finished and departed.

I would highly recommend him for any work that has to be done on a garage door system.

I called this company since they appeared to be reputable and had many good reviews posted on their site. However this was far from my experience. I asked the scheduler for a ball park estimate on a spring replacement for a very common system. She guessed somewhere for 150 to 250 depending on the model. This didn't seem too far off since I knew the part cost between 50 and 100. When the tech showed up, he only want talk replacing the whole system for 750 since the company felt it was a better spring. The tech was rude and this was a blatant up sale for no reason.

I just want to report on the great experience we had with Vince at PRECISION GARAGE DOOR SERVICE. A long story short I forgot I had the garage door halfway down and and backed into it. For the next hour I cursed myself for being so forgetful counting in my mind the dollars it would cost to fix the door. My wife and I tried to get the door in position to raise or lower it and couldn't budge it.
We called PRECISION GARAGE DOOR SERVICE because we had observed the excellent job they did on my daughter and son-in-law's door a couple of years ago. We called and were told that it would be after 8:00 before anyone could get here, but that they would definitely be here. It took some time even after 8 for the technician to arrive, but he kept us informed as to his status on a regular basis. Vince really knew what he was doing. Within 10 minutes he was able to raise and lower the door automatically and manually. He gave me some choices for improving the operation of the door and I took the one for most improvement in operation. The door is now in excellent condition and we shouldn't have any further problems - barring any more forgetful moments.
All in all my experience with PDS and Vince was excellent.

I am so angry at myself for using this so called reputable company. It all started when my garage spring broke on my 16’ x 7’ garage door and after research I was down to two to two businesses. The first company was [redacted] out of [redacted] and the second was Precision out of [redacted]. My neighbor said he used Precision so I went with them. The service tech ([redacted]) came out in the prescribed time period and quoted me a price of $200 to repair the spring less a 15% discount for being a senior and/or veteran with a net of $170 plus tax installed. I was ok with this price. We discussed adding a second spring on the door which made sense as my neighbor did the same thing. That would double the charge to $340 plus tax and I was ok with this price. Everything was going good until the last connection of the cable to the door. He said the cable had snapped the bearing was bad and he would have to put a whole new drum unit on which was comprised of the drum, cable and bearing. He said he would have to do this on both sides. The end result was a bill of $699 plus $50 labor = $749 plus tax. Instead of me telling this upselling scamming tech to remove his product and shove it I made a mistake and paid the bill. The next morning I called [redacted] and asked them what they would charge for a spring, cable and bearing. They quoted me $175 for the spring, $18 for the bearing and $15 for the cable for a total of $208 for each side total cost of $416 plus tax for both sides. So my mistake of not booting the tech from Precision cost me $333. This is a company that will take advantage of seniors and just about anyone that has a pulse. I am going to do everything I can to warn consumers about their shady practice of unnecessary parts and overcharging.

Very customer oriented. Gave options for door replacement. No pressure--efficient in their installation. On time for appointment, would highly recommend Precision Door.

Great product and wonderful service. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and did a wonderful job.

Outstanding, professional service. Precision Door Service personnel kept me well informed of their arrival time and explained the issue with my garage door and steps to fix it. Alex and Jess were extremely personal and I was very happy with their work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing their garage door opener fixed.

Tim, my technician, was very helpful in resolving a problem with our garage door springs. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain things to me that I did not know about the garage door. I appreciate his patience, and his highly skilled work! Thank you, Tim!

We had an extremely positive experience with Precision Door Service and their technician! He arrived when scheduled, was very knowledgeable about the garage door and opener mechanisms, told and showed us what our problems were, and efficiently repaired / replaced all necessary components while there - no need to reschedule. Their technology in comparing solution options made our decision easy.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Please refer to Complaint ID: [redacted]. The company response indicated they would contact me on Tuesday May 26, 2015 to settle dispute. It is now May 28, 2015 and we have not heard from the company. Gabe arrived promptly, explained my options and fixed the door with parts he had in the truck. Only took an hour and a half. Door works perfect but I think I overpaid by several hundred dollars but now its fixed with a warranty for 10 years.

Purchased a new Lift Master opener from this company in April 2014. Nothing but trouble since. Remotes failed, poor service, technicians would come to repair and apparently did not know what to do or did not have necessary parts. Bad experience with this Co. Definitely would not recommend.

We had Precision Door Service come to our home. They charged us an astronomical charge to change out our Springs and Cables on our door. We were charged over $800 for something that we found out should have cost us $350 - $400. I have checked this figure with a couple of other reputable door service businesses in the area and both agreed we were grossly over charged. I am a person who does not have a problem with businesses making a living but when they rip you off I have a problem with that. I called the Customer Service Manager and told him of my unhappiness and I was told to give him until Monday to contact me back regarding this issue. Needless to say Monday came and I had no call back from the Customer Service Manager. To bad for them.... because I have rentals in the area and they will never get a call from me to come fix anymore garage doors.
