Precision Door Service

The complaint came in at past PM. The Office is closed . My Manager will be in touch in the Morning and will resolve this issue . Thanks for giving us the opportunity to take care of the problem .

I have no proof of what was or was not shown or told to me regarding the estimate for repair of my garage door operator. I do reject any assertions that I was given the opportunity to view any written estimates of repair. I was there. I further stand by my statement that the repair technician told me the estimated cost of repair was $1700. My complaint is not resolved.
I regret not researching Precision Door prior to employing them. Had I done that and seen 11 complaints in three years and known of the Dateline NBC program on Precision Door, I would have distanced myself from them.

We have a fairly old garage door that got crooked and was a little jammed up. Really glad we chose these guys. The technician, Kyle is a skilled professional and genuine. He made sure our old door was working perfectly before calling it a day. What a great work ethic. I recommend Kyle at Precision Door Service to anyone who needs garage door work. Great experience.

IN FACT THE OWNER OF THE SPRING KING BRANDON WAS MY EMPLOYEE AND WAS FIRED FOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE . HE IS ALSO LISTED AS A SUSPECT FOR THEFT AT MY BUSINESSES LOCATION  IN SCOTTSDALE . THE REPORT IS WITH THE [redacted] . YOU ARE NOT COMPARING APPLES TO APPLES . We are a very respected and reputable company. We do not take advantage of gender or any race . Our prices are fixed and we give the best warranties and have a track record of backing it up . You can not advise me how to price my parts . My manager will get back to you on Tuesday. This Company did an excellent job repairing my garage door

My garage door had several issues due to not getting installed right by previous owner. [redacted] their tech assessed the problems and did a great job correcting the problems. I highly recommend this company. They do the job right.

This company has poor customer service. They came to look at my door that wouldn't open trapping my car inside my garage. The offered to open it for $450 and come back to actually fix it for $500. Luckily I had an extra car. They tried to take advantage. They came to fix and did not clean up after then selves, garage doesn't close all the way abs they did not have weather stripping. Needed to come back and have canceled once and had another appointment and never showed. They said that it was on the schedule but must not have gotten confirmation email to the tech. Very disappointed and will never use this company again.

Precision was very responsive in coming out immediately to give me a bid on a new garage door, and then I easily set up an appointment for installation within the same week. The technician, [redacted], was professional and thorough and explained the process and answered questions I asked. The garage door is perfect--just what we wanted and the price was very reasonable in comparison to other bids we received from other companies. I liked that Precision's background/reputation was spotless in both Revdex.com and [redacted], and the partnership/discount with [redacted] was a added benefit. Thank you!

I want to compliment Precision Door Service for their professionalism and quality customer service. In the course of two months I've had to call twice for emergency service on my garage door. In each case I was able to contact the company, speak with a knowledgeable individual and get an appointment the same day. The first emergency was handled with four hours - replacing a broken spring and needed hardware, and the second was handled temporarily within three hours. The final resolution needed a day to complete the installation of a damaged door and opener which was creating serious problems. Both situations were handled by a highly qualified tech - [redacted] - who took the time to explain what had to be done and what my options were, allowing me to make an informed decision. I would recommend this company highly. It is very comforting to know that such a highly professional company is available to help me with both routine maintenance and emergencies should they arise.

We have used Precision Door Service in the past to service our garage door to keep it performing in top condition. When the garage door opener was showing signs that it was nearing it's end of life, I had no hesitation in calling them to come out and look at it, which ultimately led to it's replacement.
Brandon the technician, was professional in his explanation of what needed to be done and display complete competency in the installation.
I would not hesitate to recommend Precision Door to my friends and neighbors.

I contacted Precision Door for service as they were recommended by [redacted] and I am very glad I did. My Technician, Daniel, was very thorough and accurate with pricing. I really like the work he did, my garage door works a gazillion times better than before his service. I have a very excellent warranty from Precision Door, so am covered for 10 years labor, lifetime on parts.

Daniel the service installer was on time, called first, and did a nice install of the garage door opener. Polite to work with.

I have not received any contact from the business to my phone nor my wife's phone, email or any...

other communication.  I am obviously disappointed in the company's handling of this situation.  Furthermore, upon closer inspection of my attached invoice, the invoice lists the back-up battery.  The battery is not installed and I was told by the technician on site that the battery is an additional upgrade and was told the same over the phone when trying to resolve this complaint initially with the company.  That adds to my original complaint - I now was not supplied with the parts listed on the invoice and they asked me to pay additional fees to what is clearly listed on the invoice.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My door was broke before they painted my house.  If he wants to put in a new opener and pay for it that is fine.  However the painters are not responsible for the problem.  Again if he wants to put in a new opener at his expense then tell him to contact me or you and do so.  Thank you

I was experiencing problems with my 14 year old garage door remote. My physical disabilities required my seeking help from a professional service. I scheduled an appointment with Precision Door Service. The technician, Jay, arrived on time and assessed the problem, reviewed my options and the cost. I scheduled a return appointment, and researched the situation. I checked with three competitors and confirmed the assessment was accurate, and the cost was comparable. Jay arrived at the appointed time, made the necessary installations, answered all of my questions, demonstrated the equipment, cleaned up the area, was courteous and did an excellent job. I can honestly recommend Precision Door Service, they provided outstanding service at a comparable rate.The service tech was polite, experienced, and efficient.

This company is nothing more than a scam, they hide under several websites offering free estimates in order to get you to call and when you do you find out its Precision Door Service and at the first mention of the free estimates they put you on hold for 10 minutes just to come back and say no we don't do free estimates but here's our pricing. Everything so far with this company has been completly shady and not forthcoming.

Not Precise at all. When I set up an install time for Monday @ 8:00am. They, Jay, told me no problem because they had nothing scheduled then. I have an appointment I have to be at by noon. At 8:30 I called and Precision said they would be there by nine because they had to pick up the door.

It's now after 10:00 and I have yet to see or hear from them.

Precision..... Not To Precise!

I had a very positive experience with Precision Door. The two techs Daniel and Gabe came out to my house. They both were very knowledgeable and their customer service was outstanding from the beginning to the end. Thank you for the great experience!!

One of the cables broke on my garage door and was stuck open. I called the company that installed the door. They quoted me a price of $120, but they couldn't come the same day, so I called Precision Door. They were really nice on the phone and told me what they charged, which was $160.00 ($90-$110 for the cables-labor included and a $49.95 trip charge). When I told her that I was going to have someone else do it for $120; she immediately took the trip charge off and said that it would be no more than $120. I made the appointment and the repair person ([redacted]) came to my house. He proceeds to tell me that the cost was going to be $450. I told him that he needed to leave, that was not the quote that was told to me over the phone. Then he tried to charge me for a service call and I told him that I was not paying for anything. He told me to call and cancel the appointment and I wouldn't be charged. Obviously he has dealt with this in the past and knew exactly what to tell me. I called two other companies and explained what had happened to me and they both knew I was talking about Precision Door. My advise to you is don't hire Precision Door to do any work, they low ball you on the phone to get the service and when they get to your house they want to charge you way more. I hired another company to come out and fix my door same day and they only charged me $120.

Great experience with this company. Professionalism was evident right from the first call. Final product was great.
