have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you requested, I have
again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything that might support
a more favorable conclusion. Our record confirms that the consumer contacted Priceline on May 17th
at 3:00
PM local hotel time, advising
that the [redacted] check-in representative
was unable to locate the guests’ reservation. Upon review of the inquiry, the
Priceline representative spoke directly with the [redacted] who
advised that they had the guests’ reservation; however, did not have
payment details. Therefore, Priceline again provided the [redacted] with the payment details, which had already been provided to the
property, and the guest was accommodated as booked. The documented
case history indicates that the call between the Priceline representative and
the [redacted] representative terminated 51 minutes later, at 3:51 PM local hotel time. We
apologize for any inconvenience experienced by the guest upon check-in at the
[redacted]. Our records clearly confirm that the guests’ reservation
was indeed received by the [redacted] Notwithstanding
the above, as a goodwill gesture and to emphasize our commitment to our customer,
Priceline provided the consumer with a $50 courtesy credit. The Bureau/consumer

contacts for any further assistance or claims regarding this matter.

I am rejecting this response because: Your explanation is unacceptable. I actually don't care about the refund anymore, but I do care about other customers who have no doubt gone through something similar to what I went through. I ask that you be honest in the future. If you use a hotel as an example of a one star rated hotel, then you should honor your own examples. By claiming a hotel you have listed as a 1 star hotel may be a 2 star hotel in some circumstances is untrue. Either it is 1 star or 2 stars. It cannot be both. But if it is, as you say both 1 and 2 stars depending on arbitrary distinctions, then I ask you BE HONEST and list that brand in both the 1 and 2 star categories rather than backtracking and saying we have a disclaimer buried in our rules and regulations to this effect. From what I have seen online, I'm am not the only one who has felt duped by your website and has made this complaint. I imagine this is why you claim your hands are tied regarding a refund because I no doubt the floodgates would open were you to give me my money back. 
I know you have lost more than one customer by Priceline's misrepresentation of their listings. I only hope that others see my complaint and your sales are affected so that you will change how you do business.

Yes, it is the the shade are of area 14, the [redacted] IN YOUR MAP!!! If you zoom in, you will find the address is [redacted], instead of [redacted]. 
Again, the location of your map is wrong, I would send your the location detail of map if you provide your email address. Actually there are two other areas in the north of the [redacted] center-[redacted], this hotel is even in the further further north of these two, which is 20miles away!

Booked 6 nights in virgina beach and when I got down there,they cancelled the reservation on me without notice.They also never refunded my money and had to use what vacation money I had on me to get the last room after a 11 hour drive.Called them about situation and was getting the run around until I mentioned I was gonna file a fraud lawsuit due to the fact they're selling services then canceling them and keeping money without notififying customer.When I asked why it got cancelled their response was the 3rd party booking agent was having issues with hotel/or couldnt get the room for priced advertised.Then why are they listing prices they cant honor.Had no problem keeping my money and to date still havent gotten refund.Have a fraud/dispute claim on them through credit card.So buyer beware.

The
customer indicated that he checked into the hotel and attempted to access the
internet using the wireless connection multiple times with no avail. He
explained he spoke with the Front Desk but was advised the internet was working
properly. The guest checked out of the hotel and was requesting a refund on the
unused room.
The case
was reviewed by an Executive Services Agent on July 2nd. The agent contacted the hotel
and confirmed that we can refund the customer. Their records indicate that the
guest checked-in on June 24 and left the same day; and they did not charge our
card. A full refund was processed back to the customer's card and he was
notified by email of the refund.
