I have
received the consumer’s additional comments. 
As you requested, we have again reviewed this matter to see if we
overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. Unfortunately,
there is nothing we can add to what has already been stated in our previous
correspondence. The consumer purchased an Express Deals reservation and in not
satisfied with the location of the hotel.
The consumer
states. “I was
under the assumption that this hotel was in [redacted].”
Priceline clearly discloses
that we will find a hotel in the shaded area displayed on the priceline.com
website for the consumer's selected area(s). The [redacted] is
clearly located in the shaded area of the mapping guidelines for the area
labeled [redacted]  
Consumers who prefer to stay in a particular location or particular property
have the option to visit our Published price service, and choose his/her
preferred hotel and location from a list of competitive prices across a wide
range of hotels.
We are sorry that we cannot change, cancel or refund the purchase. Our ability
to cancel, change or refund the reservation is governed by contractual
agreements with our travel partners, which state that the reservation selected
by the consumer is non-changeable and non-refundable.We are sorry that the consumer’s
selected purchase is non-refundable and we are unable to assist the consumer
any further in this situation.

 “The day I booked this hotel, the
cancellation policy was different that what is posted here.”
Please note that the contract page viewed and initialed by the
consumer is a stored contract page and cannot be altered.
Please also note that this RETAIL property, [redacted], offers
several different room rates dependent upon the room type and cancel policy.
The more restrictive the cancel policy, the lower the room rate.
The more flexible the cancel policy, the higher the room rate.
This property does offer the option for same day cancelation at a
higher room as follows:
 “FREE Cancellation until 02:59 PM”
Cancellation Policy
Priceline will not charge you a change or cancel fee,
however this hotel has the following cancellation policy: Good news! This
reservation qualifies for free cancellation up until 2:59 PM local hotel time
on the date of arrival. If cancelled or modified up to 15:00 on the date of

I am rejecting this response because:
Priceline maintains that this was a "Pre-Paid" reservation yet they fail to use those words or that verbiage in the agreement. Furtheremore, they continue in thier direct responses to me NOT addressing the fact that I've reserved cars through Priceline "Name Your Own Price" at other major airports across the country previously and NEVER paid upfront but always had a final bill and payment once the rental was completed. In those cases I again agreed to accept the daily rate and utilzed the car through some period of the original rental quote.
 I made this reservation under thes same thought that I was locking the rate of $26/day. Not that I was going to immediately pay $84.76 for the rental when I hit accept. [redacted] verified to me twice that the authorization was not charged on June 7th. It was still not converted to a charge 20+ days after the rental. So Priceline is not being truthful when they say they would immediately "CHARGE my form of payment" or that it's a "pre-paid" rental as they stated and the car rental company stated. Doesn't "pre pay" mean you actually pay right away? All car rental transactoins authorize to make sure you have enough funds for the rental but actually charge you AFTER the rental is complete. This is basically what Priceline did as well but they are saying it was a non refundable pre-payment which they did not take.
Furthermore, a rental from 8:30PM on a Friday until 5:00AM on is not a 2 day (48 hour rental). Therefore, even if I would not have brought the car back early on Saturday 6/8, I shouldn't have paid a full two days for the rental to start with. This wasn't a concern when I reserved because I again did so under the assumption that I would pay $26/day or some portion of that plus fees for the time I used the car. Why would I agree to "Pre pay" for a full 2 days (48 hour) rental if I knew from the start that I wouldn't even have the vehicle for 2 full days?? My reservation clearly shows the pick up and drop off time as well.
Finally, bullet 3 in the agreement which is not higlighted states, "Additoinal charges may apply at the counter if you pick up or drop off the car at a different date, time, or location than you requested for your reservation", This language contradicts the earlier language Priceline highlighted which says that the reservation is non changeable. So which is it Priceline? The customer can actually change the reservation if they keep the vehicle longer and get charged more but you can't bring it back early, changing the original reservation, and only be charged for what you've used??
The transaction on this rental was not completed as I've previously experienced. Priceline is trying to use the "agreement" language to their benefit. I don't have a problem paying for the rate I reserved. I used the rental car and should pay the daily rate for the time I rented the vehicle. I don't agree with the statement that the rental was a prepayment and therefore I should forfeit my money for the time not used.

I am rejecting this response because:
I made it clear that I would not be using Priceline in the future due to the dysfunction and complications that this company has caused. I don't think customers deserve to be treated the way that I was, especially under the circumstances of dealing with the loss of my father and simply trying to transfer the ticket. 
A $50.00 travel voucher wouldn't even cover my phone bill from the hours that I spent on hold with your company. Nor would it cover the hours that I was not at work due to trying to deal with this situation. A $50.00 travel voucher is a joke when it comes to compensation of time, money and frustration.
This was my first experience using the Revdex.com, which alone explains how terrible Priceline functions.
Again, I am declining the $50.00 travel voucher and will keep my case open with the Revdex.com. 
I'm confident that Priceline has a better compensation for my time, money, complications and frustration during a time of loss than a $50.00 travel voucher that will never be used.

reservations that permit cancelations.
When selecting a reservation, and prior to purchase, the
consumer is provided with the cancel policy associated with each reservation.
In this case, the consumer selected a reservation that
provided greater savings and less flexibility.

Hi I am sorry for late reply. I  talked to their customer relation officer (I think) and explained about my daughter's health condition. She told me to send a letter from  pediatricion about her health. My daughter had stomach flu. To get a letter from doctor I have to go to ER. That will cost me 100s of dollars which I cannot offered. When I try to explain my situation the lady refuse to listen. If the money is non refundable why did she said that if I get doctor's letter I will get 75% money back. I don't think any parent can lie  about their kid's health for money refund. I rented the car for my daughter's vacation. I hope they understand this.

I am rejecting this response because: Even though I did initial the document, I did not type in that bid myself. The website automatically filled in the amount. I did not realize that the website had auto-filled that amount when I typed my initials and confirmed. Also, when a person explains that it was a mistake and they did not mean to accept that price and cannot afford it, a business who cares for their customers should take that into consideration and cancel the booking. This only leads me to assume that priceline intentionally tries to trick people by filling in the bid automatically and absolutely refuses to extend professional courtesy to their customers. Therefore, I refuse do to any further business with priceline.com.

I am rejecting this response because:
I made it to the hotel the day of the reservation and priceline didn't had a reservation under my name, therefore I didn't got the service I was charged with. Due to the recent bad weather in Louisiana (flood events) my business meeting was cancelled on the last minute.  The fact that I have a dispute with the bank don't make it right for the business to cancel my reservation and keep my money. They got their money back, but keep a 100% of it. I call that stealing from the costumer. Costumers normally get what they pay for or otherwise the merchant should make it right by providing with the product paid.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: the per day parking charge  of 1/3 the room rate is not considered a reasonable amount for someone to expect when booking a room.  I live in [redacted]. Hotels here do not charge a 54/ night fee for parking. I think it is unreasonable of Priceline.com to expect me to expect a $54/ night parking fee.  For resort fees they put a dollar value in their disclaimer because they are between $10-40/day so I would expect the same type of disclaimer including the upward $ amount when a parking fee is 1/3 the room rate.
