I have received the consumer’s
additional comments. As you requested, I have again reviewed this matter to see
if we overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. We
understand that the consumer did not have enough time to rent a vehicle due to his/her
flight arrival time. Our flights and rental car reservations are treated
independently unless booked as a package. We also do not assume that every
passenger would require a rental vehicle upon arrival. The consumer’s initialed
contract page indicates that he/she selected a Name Your Own Price reservation
disclosing that flights will start anytime between 6 AM and 10 PM, and that the
passenger will arrive no later than 12:30 a.m. the next day. I am sorry that Priceline is unable to assist the consumer
any further in this situation.

I am rejecting this response because: when Priceline advertises "Best Price Guarantee" they don't make a mention of the 24 hr window that is needed. Had I known this and if they did their due diligence to make their customers aware of that,  maybe providing the link that you provided now about the 24 hr policy once I made the reservation ,then I would have acted accordingly. I don't feel like you care about your paying customers and it is how you train your employees too. It is sad that your company doesn't consider it important to make your customers happy ESPECIALLY considering how much competiton you have.
Also, providing me with the link to your policy is a dismissal to my complaint.

I already contacted my financial institution and priceline, as stated previously. Priceline refuses to work with my financial institution because my name was on the hotel reservation even though I have physical proof I was 2000 miles away and was not in that city or state, let alone at that hotel. Any statement that Priceline will cooperate has been proven false twice already (denying the challenge through my financial institution and flat out refusal to accept facts via their customer service).
I am continuing to work with my financial institution, but had hoped Priceline would understand that credit fraud happens and respond appropriately instead of sending an obvious boilerplate answer that ignores stated facts.

I am rejecting this response because:
What was failed to communicated to Priceline was that we did not mean to accept the offer. Under the bidding field where we entered $16 (which failed to get any offers), we saw that if we signed up for the card, we would get a discount. We filled out the form to register, and pressed enter, leaving the $16 field blank. We believed that at the next screen, we would be allowed to bid again. However, it automatically assigned us a bid at $47. Thus that day, we called Priceline asking them to cancel our deal. We understood that Priceline has a policy where customers are allowed to cancel an order if another company offered a better price. However when we called, the operator did not cancel. Rather, they continued to tell our father no, perhaps due to his limited English he was not able to communicate to them properly. I attached the offer we received from Hotline. It shows that we got the deal at around $18 dollars, and the date (8/10/15) as well. Do we have to pay for a service we did not know we were agreeing to?

I understand...

from your email and the
information documented in your reservation as well as the information presented
by the hotel, that you made your reservation for 4/18/14 at 1:02 AM on the 18th,
which would allow check in at 3 PM on 4/18/14. You arrived about 4:30 AM on the
18th and wanted to check in. The hotel was still on the business day of 4/17/14
and you were advised that you could not check in without paying an additional
fee for what the hotel considers still the business day of 4/17/14. You
indicated that you did not want to do that and contacted priceline. You
requested a refund but also did not want to pay the one night cancellation fee
that would have had to have been paid. You then called back after noon on
4/18/14 and again requested a full refund, but at that time the cancellation
policy indicates that after that noon cut off time on the date of check in, no
refund will be allowed. At that point the reservation was still available for
you to use. The hotel has charged priceline the full amount of the reservation
and I am sorry, but no refund can be offered to you.

We are in receipt of the complaint initiated by the
above-mentioned client.  Customer satisfaction is always our primary
concern, and it is a disappointment to learn that we have not met Ms. Odell’s
expectations.  We appreciate your patience, during our review of this
matter. 
Upon receipt of Ms. Odell’s complaint, Priceline Cruises
initiated an internal review of her travel folio. After reviewing the full
details of the reservation as well the promotion in question, we regret to
report that the reservation does not meet the minimum pricing requirement and
does not qualify for the hotel coupon promotion. 
As Ms. Odell provides in the statement, the Terms and
Conditions of the promotion does read the following:  “Offer valid for new
individual bookings made thru 3/31/14 on sailings thru 12/31/16. Bookings from
$500 - $1,000 receive $50 hotel coupon. Offer is limited to US and Canada
residents. Cruise price is defined as entire price of booking before taxes and
port charges."  Although the $718.00 cruise price that Ms. Odell
refers to does not include the taxes and fees, she is including the port
charges of $130.00 per passenger, $260.00 total.  As explained to Ms.
Odell by several of our Customer Care agents, port charges are not included in
the cruise price as defined by the Terms and Conditions for this
promotion.  The pricing breakdown, as stated on the customer invoice is as
follows:

The qualifying cruise price for the promotion is

invoice) of $458.00 ($229.00 per passenger) and the Processing Fee of

I am rejecting this response because Priceline claims they have information that I processed my request incorrectly, but despite three separate attempts to recover the information Priceline claims to have, Priceline refuses to turn it over. To me, it appears they do not have the information, and are simply trying to make me stop complaining by pretending they did not create the error.  If they have the paperwork, please let me see it. I have asked three times. They do not have it, and therefore, they misbooked me, and are now refusing to refund me.

I purchased an airline ticket through Priceline.com for $1200. When I had to change the departure date, they canceled the original ticket and re-booked it for $1600. However, they never booked the return flight and refuse to do so, saying the trip is complete. They claim it wasn't discussed in the call I made to them, but I obviously wouldn't buy a ticket with no return unless I was moving there, which I am not. It is just their word against mine and I am left with no recourse except to buy another one-way ticket home.
