On August *** 2019 - I made a purchase using my Quadpay account on Amazon for a Samsung Galaxy A10 Cell phone, as a gift for a friend whom needed a cell phone. The size of the display was not of that which was advertised and was alot smaller so instead of using the phone, I decided to return it, and look for a bigger one. On Sept *, 2019, I returned the phone to the AMAZON shipping center near my home, doing such would allow AMAZON to receive it a lot quicker and refund me right away. The cost was $133.99. As soon as I returned it about a hour or 2 later I received an email from Amazon advising me that my card had been refunded and I should see within 3-5 days. However having been a customer of Amazon for years, it has never taken Amazon that long to refund an account, and is always sooner than advised. In any event, I contacted Quadpays support team to make them aware because previously Amazon provided me with a courtesy refund for another purchase I made, and mistakenly refunded me twice for the purchase which was candy that had gone bad and refunded 33 dollars to the cellphone which should not have been done, but when I made them aware they advised to accept as a courtesty, so did, the day after this refund and credit was sent, Quadpay had already posted them to my account. It took them no time, and occurred the literally within 24hrs. So when I made the return on Sept *, 2019, I made Quadpay aware so they knew I had made the return and was expecting the refund. At this time my account was current and had 4 open orders all paid on time. Moving forward, 3 days had passed, and then 5 days, and I contacted Quadpay because I hadnt seen my refund yet, and was wondering what the hold up was, and still at this time my account was in perfect standing but as a single mother if I have money owed to me, I need it, and not to be floating in the air wondering about it, and had returned the product so of course I wanted my funds back. I continued to email Quadpay, and would be sent automatic responses, and the some Live agents telling me pretty much what the automated response said, so no I becoming frustrated, because not only do I need my money, but my order installments are becoming due. So via email,. I find myself going back and forth with one of the reps, whose not helpful at all, and refused to even lookin to the status of my refund for a couple days of us conversing via email with each other. So then Sept comes and by now I had to pay my rent of $2350.00 and again Im a single mother of 2 boys, not only did I have to pay my rent, but my employer had also made a mistake on my hours, to where my paycheck was short approx $450 and my check was exactly the amount of my rent leaving me with nothing until my next pay date, which is when they are going to make the correction on my check. My payday isnt until Sept , 2019. So I make several attempts to contact support, to advise them and see about possibly making some arrangement, in effort to keep my account from going into default, because my installment orders were coming up, and not had they still not provided my refund but my pay check was short so I didnt have the money to cover the installments, which is why I contacted them. Each email I sent inquiring an arrangement and informing them of my situation was left ignored with no reponse and never answered at all. I finally received a reply from the same guy, and he advised I would see my refund on Monday 9/*/19. Monday 9/9/19 came and went, so I contacted Quadpay on Tuesday, No response, by now, I am frustrated because my orders were going into default, being assesed a $7 late fee the next day after its due, and still no signs of my refund. So on Wed I am beyond fed up, and so I remember the email I received from the CEO when I opened my account asking me to leave feedback on the app, so I decided maybe I should reach out to him and possibly get some kind of reply, and I did. He apologized and advised that he had forwarded my email to a Rob, and that Rob would fix this issue. Rob did fix the issue right away, he immediately refunded my account and sent me an email confirmation advised me that $32.56 and another for $1 had been refunded electronically, and advised I should see it on my debit card. I saw it immediately, although was applied to the wrong debit card, but it was there as I could see it in my account. He then sent me another email stating the following:
"We have confirmed the missing refund for order ***. There was a refund of $34.44 applied to this order, but it was missing $99.55. We'll process and issue the refund manually, which may take 5-10 business days to appear."
Then, I received the following email below soon after the first one,..,,,
" ***"
Although I wasnt happy being advised of the 5-10 business day wait after I had already waited almost 2 weeks, I was fine, and followed up to advise and make sure they applied the refund to the correct debit card. I "NEVER" received any response, so I email again, asking them to please confirm that they will be applying it to the correct debit card.. still NO RESPONSE, so then Today comes 09//19, I have no response, so I continuing trying to get one, and about 1230 pm I receive an email from a rep named Julia who advised me of the following:
" Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out! If you have not already paid all four installments, then we apply a credit towards them. We start by reducing your last installment by the refund amount, and if the refund is more than the last installment amount, we will deduct it from your second-to-last installment - and so on until the refund is completely credited.
If the credit is more than your open installments, it may be split up; partially applied to your payment plan and partially refunded to your credit card associated with the order.
If you have already paid all four installments, then we will refund your credit card associated with the order for the amount refunded."
PLEASE TELL ME WHERE THE ISSUE IS NOW....So after sending multiple emails asking them to apply my refund to correct debit card, being advised previously by ROB that $0.00 of my refund was applied to my outstanding installments, and that $99.95 was going to be refunded to my debit card in 5-10 business days.
So Im questioning as to whether Julia has reviewed my account and seen the email details from Rob advising me no money was being applied to the installments. So how is it without even notifying me that any change in the way my refund was being applied, None at all, and until I contacted them the next day asking to confirm it would be applied to the correct card,, the statement from Julia is what I receive a day and several hours later. I arrive at work and receive an alert from my bank showing of a deposit, I look and there is a refund from Quadpay for $34 dollars. and some change. So now I am angry, because not only does Quadpay not communicate with the customers, we cant speak to them directly and has to be via email, but they totally disregarded my request for confirmation, and last, they distributed my refund to my installments, and had emailed previously telling me they werent, and not only that, they didnt even think to send me an email informing me of this, and just changed what they advised me, and as I mentioned having been shorted my paycheck, every penny was needed by me, as I am struggling til my next payday. I wouldnt have mind if they had told me they would apply this refund to my accounts, but the fact they did not, and told me $0.00 was being applied in writing, then turned around and did something totally different, without my knowledge and I the whole time am waiting for this refund, and this is really how they do their customers. Seriously, just IGNORE, and do whatever they want, email you telling you lies, having you thinking one thing and ends up being something never advised or informed of; No follow up either providing me any details on how my refund was distributed or applied and just sends $34 to my debit card when I was expecting $99 & change. This is not what you call customer service, and because you said one thing and did another with out my knowledge, is an issue and the whole time have been holding onto my refund when this issue didnt have to come about. But I am overhwhelmed, fustrated, tired of emailing and being ignored but being charged $7 late fees on installment amounts that are less than $7. Im asking someone to assist in keeping my account out of default and totally ignored, and I blame Quadpay for this, and because I never was informed my refund was being applied other than the way Rob emailed, I am still awaiting to receive my entire refund as he advised, and with $0.00 being applied to the installments. Iam tired of the drama and as long as Quadpay has such bad customer support, this issues are going to continue, not just with myself, but others as well, being how do you treat your customers this way being a new startup, if anything you should be trying make sure your customers are satisfied, and by granting them credit to make installments, isnt enough to support that, not if your ripping us off, by holding on to our refunds when youve received them, charging a $7 late fee the very next day after an installment is due, and an installment of $2 and $3, less than $7, still apply it, you dont try to work with us, and I have never seen such poor service with any startup. I have Klarna, Afterpay, and Sezzle, I have been able to make arrangements with them all advising them of my hardship being shorted hours, no late fees, and just a new date, however Quadpay, you ignore you customers, hold on to our refunds, as if you never received them, If I hadnt contacted you CEO I to this day would still have no refund, finally believe its resolved just to find out you did somethinf other than what you specifically advised me in an email sent to me, That is rude, disrespectful, unworthy, and pitiful,. But now, with that I am banking on the email Rob sent and waiting for my refund, and expect to recevie it soon, and more like ASAP>
At this time, I have been contacted directly by QuadPay, Inc. regarding complaint ID, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Quadpay contacted me via email saying they applied my refund to my open installments however I havent seen where they applied being the amounts didnt change and stayed the same. Now they are sending me auto emails continuing to add on late fees as well as threatening to affect my credit negatively but will not respond to my emails or the emails I sent I addition to my refund advising I shouldnt be charged late fees and if they applied my refund which was $133.00 to my account then my installments would be paid off instead they claim to have lost my refund the claimed to have applied to my acct but my acct is full of late fees and no credits . I received a total of $36 and some change refunded to my debit card. They claim they owed me $95 but my purchase was $133 so I dk whats going on with them but the fact that they ignore you and just continue to add late fees on your acct instead speaking to you to try get things corrected and be shown where my credits are Is not good at all. I want to pursue to the furthest extent possible and the reason I believe they dont reply is because theyre stealing your money and make up things as far refunding it but when u question it they ignore and never respond. Not how creditors are supposed to work but I will be pursuing as far as I can if possible.

Hi there, and thank you for reaching out! We were able to locate the refunds on our end. Whenever receiving a refund from QuadPay, the refund will be applied to the original payment method. When more than one payment method is used, it may be spread over the payment methods as it will always go back to the original card. This may be causing some difficulty in locating the refunds. We have issued a more detailed response via direct email and hope this helps!
I agree with all the customers below. On the app they gave me a lousy $200 credit even when I have used their program more than once and have paid on time or before payment is due. Then when you asked them what they base their credit approval they claim they base it on an algorithm. Really so they wouldn’t provide specifics on their lousy algorithm. So what I did is ask *** to have their program extended to other stores because *** has a better service quality and never gave me a limit on how much to spend. I am not happy with their algorithm because it’s obviously judging me on I don’t know what because as per their program credit is not a factor. Meanwhile, I as a Middle Income only qualify for $200 but a person who is on minimum wage gets $500 credit limit on the app.
Quadpay is useless. I have used this method plenty of time with no issue and made on time payments. Had a $500 credit on their app. When I tried to purchase some clothes thru quadpay they declined me saying I wasn’t qualified to use quadpay anymore but still tookmmy money out so I had to ger a refund and then when I reached out to quadpay about how now all of a sudden I am not qualified they gave me some b

Their customer service is non existent. All you get is automated and general redundant answers. If you have a real issue forget it they won’t help.
I will be canceling all my orders and switch to *** and ***.
I returned a purchased on August *** and QuadPay will not refund or respond to my numerous tries to reach out. They do not have a phone number. I’ve sent more than 5 messages through their contact us page with only automatic responses. I’ve posted and messaged them on their social media accounts, all of which have been deleted and again ignored.
I’ve already contacted ***, where QuadPay advertises them as an affiliate, and have been told by *** that that is a false claim.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
That being said, I would still never use QuadPay again. They withheld my money for over a month because of their incompetence. It should not take threat of legal action, a Revdex.com claim and reversal of funds from my bank for them to finally reach out.

I recently asked for a refund from UGG, who I bought the shoes from however I paid through quad pay. I have contacted UGG and they approved the refund and I sent back the shoes. They then said that they contacted quad pay and said it was okay to give me my refund, but quad pay has not given me my refund. They then told me they will only give it back to the original form of payment, however that is impossible because I had to close that account and go to a new bank due to other reasons. So I went to my old bank and explained but they told me to contact quadpay and say I switched banks and to give me my money on my new account. Quad pay has still not emailed me back and every time I get a automated message that does nothing nor help my situation.

I ordered an item From Amazon, through Quadpay. Unfortunately my purse was stolen and my card was stolen as well. I needed to change the payment info on my QuadPay account so that it charged my new card for my Amazon purchase. I went to log into my QuadPay account. And it would not allow me to login. It said it would send me a code to my phone and it did. But when I put the code in on the quad play login it said there was an error. I did this several times and got the same result. It would not allow me to log in. I proceeded to send them a friendly email letting them know about the situation and didn’t get a response. So a few days later I sent Quadpay a second email and did not get a response. I finally sent a third email that was not as friendly because I was extremely frustrated that they were planning to charge me a late fee when I couldn’t even change my credit card info on their site because no one was responding to help me log in. After sending a few more emails, trying my best to be patient, I got a response saying to delete the cookies on my computer. I did this and IT STILL WOULDN’T WORK. I tried logging in on my phone and my friend’s computer as well. It’s an issue with my QuadPay account. And so now, 3 months later I still have not received a response from them and continue to get charged late fees that I’m not even sure they are able to do without my card info. ALL I WANT IS TO PAY OFF MY PRODUCT AND NEVER USE QUADPAY AGAIN. But I can’t even log in or get a response. By far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is absolutely sad that no one can respond to me and even worse if there is not a single phone number or person I can reach out to. I feel stuck and what’ by far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is absolutely sad that no one can respond to me and even worse if there is not a single phone number or person I can reach out to. I feel stuck. Then this morning, I got an email from Clyde pet saying th morning, I got an email from QuadPay saying that the merchant might reach out to my credit bureau?? WHAT? This isn’t fair! They won’t even respond to my regular emails but still are able to tell me these other updates?

On August ***, 2019 I returned two different orders.
On order *** only $21.20 was refunded when the total return amount was $63.60. I only kept 2 items from the entire order totaling $12.68. I made a total of $58.04 in paymentsI should have no payments due at all and owed a refund from quadpay.
On order *** only $42.40 was refunded. I returned the entire order of $63.60. I've made a total of $23.60 in payments. I should have had no more payments and returned the entire amount I paid, since I kept nothing from this order.
I have talked to Old Navy 3 times and the total $127.20 return was issued.
Now I'm stuck making payments on clothes I do not have.
Hi there, and thank you for reaching out! I was able to verify that order #*** was issued a full refund of $63.60 as of 9//2019. Please feel free to let us know if this is is not the case. Thank you very much!
I would give negative stars if I could. Everything was fine until my final payment of $0.01. Yes, one cent. So I tried to send payment on different cards, nothing worked. When sending a support email BEFORE my due date, I noticed there was a "Having trouble paying a balance less than $1" option. So QP is aware that their system does not process small payments. Then I was charged a $7 late fee plus my $0.01 balance to close out my purchase. Not to mention, all support emails are totally ignored and answered with automated responses. This is total . I absolutely HATE this company.
Tha app is ok but they have the worst customer service. If while using the app, dont have any issues, offtop their Chat bot doesnt understand anything so it as a whole is useless, Ive been waiting 2 weeks on a refund from *** for a purchase I paid in full and theyve givin me nothing but the run around but claim as soon as the merchant notifies of a refund they automatically credit your acct, and has to be a lie because any and everyone who uses *** knos it doesnt take 2 weeks to recieve a refund they told me Id see it Monday and yea iam still waiting and my customer support email are all being ignored when I inquire about it. They charge u a $7 late fee the very next day if your installment payment isnt paid the date due no kinda grace period at all and dont ask or inquire about it because your inquiry will go ignores and unanswered. And im at the point where Iam pretty fed with the service, whats a good app if you have awful customer service??? This is actually turning into a nightmare and I knew it was too good to be true. Ppl think long and hard before using this service and if your ok wih awful customer service then this app is perfect for u and if your ok with LOST REFUNDS and not getting them back then its definitely for you! Cant wait until this nightmare is over!
I have never used quadpay but somehow they keep stealing my credit card information. I am on my 3rd card now in 1 month...
I ordered 2 pairs of sneakers from Hoka One on 8//29. I was offered the opportunity to use Quad Pay to divide my payment of $297.79 into four equal payments. After 3 failed attempts, I paid the full amount to Hoka One on my American Express. Subsequently, I received an email from Quad Pay thanking me for my order and indicating the four charges on 8/,9/9, 9/*** and 10/*/19. The first charge of $74.44 was billed to my American Express card and I disputed the charge, the full amount from Hoka One was also billed to my Am Ex card. I’ve contacted Quad Pay six times. No one answers the phone and they don’t return messages. I’ve emailed them 4 times, but their responses don’t address the issue. I’ve requested a refund and to stop the other payments since I paid in full at Hoka One. On 8/*** Hoka One confirmed by email the 3 failed attempts and lack of confirmation by Quad Pay. I received another pending charge today, which I will dispute with Am Ex as soon as it’s processed. It appears that Quad Pay is a fraudulent company and this is a scam.
At this time, I have been contacted directly by QuadPay, Inc. regarding complaint ID, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I received an email on 9//19 from Quad Pay indicating that a full refund had been issued and I would see it on my credit card in 2 installments, $155.90 and $141.89, within 5 business days. I didn’t receive a refund so I contacted them on 10/*/19. They first replied that I should contact the merchant, Hoka One. I replied with a detailed response, citing the email indicating a refund being processed and received a response indicating that they could see I disputed the amount on my credit card and asking me to remove the dispute so that they could credit me immediately. This is the second request for them asking to remove the dispute. I responded that I would keep the dispute open until I actually received my refund. I received no further response.
I received an email from American Express yesterday that the merchant has not responded to them either. American Express has not charged me for 3 of the four payments of $74.44.
I received an automated notice from QuadPay this morning that they will charge the final payment of $74.44 tomorrow.

On approximately two separate occasions, I placed orders to *** vía the quadpay service app. Both times the order was declined and Amazon charged my credit card they have on file. I’m the quadpay app they still charged me approximate $16.71 and $10.35 for those orders. I’ve been attempting to contact quadpay regarding a refund and I only get a generic response stating they are looking into the problem. If I refuse to make the payment during the scheduled time they automatically deduct it from my account. I’ve been messaging them since August regarding the problem and again they are not providing proper customer service.

They keep having different techs respond each time, so I have to repeat the issue. Then they respond with a generic response saying it is an issue with the merchant when it clearly is not. Then they tell me they are looking into the issue. Then I won’t hear back from them. I only get a response when I message them asking if they figured it out yet.

It's the worst. You can't speak to someone. You send an email and you get same reply over and over. Which shows me its automated and generic. is no help whatsoever. They don't inform why you were turned exactly. Afterpay is much better.
Quadpay is HORRIBLE for merchants. They have 0 customer service skills, very unreliable, doesn't answer emails, no support number, just terrible. You're better off with the other guys.
I tried buying a pair of shoes on zappos.com with quadpay. It didn't work and it took the amount out of my bank account instead. Then I look and quadpay took out the first payment for shoes as well. I have emailed quadpay 3 times now about a refund and no response. Plus they have no phone support.
Hello from Quadpay -
We are writing about an old closed complaint. I have researched the issue and saw that her complaint was addressed a while ago as her refund was processed. I also sent her an apology. Additionally, we have new technology that would allow a consumer to report a refund in this scenario via the app and would not need to contact us.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I made one purchase with QuadPay and after the first payment, every other payment for that order won't process with my primary card. My bank says they are not blocking the charges, they don't even see them. QuadPay won't submit my payments for processing in order to extort late fees. This is flat out fraud. I have only one card to use, so I had to borrow cards to make subsequent payments and use VISA gift cards. Yet, every card can only be used once, before the system blocks it and subsequent payments won't process. The worst thing is, there is ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT. I contacted support for months and no one responds; just form emails. The last time I got 11 automated response at the exact same time and none of them even had anything to do with my problem.
I have now been charged a late fee because I ran out of different cards to use. They are blocking all my cards for no reason.
Hello We are contacting you from QuadPay regarding an old closed complaint. I have reached out to our customer and processed a refund for the late fee she was charged. I also apologized for the delayed response and for her frustration. We are working hard to close all of the unanswered complaints now that we've begun onboarding a CX team. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Best regards,Lauren VCXO QuadPay Support
HORRIBLE I had over 9 installments that are paid on time. My limit is at $65 dollars and wanted to purchase something for $39 dollars it will not allow me to purchase I will pay off what I owe and not use this company again.
Quadpay is great when you are shopping online directly with the merchant and the merchant offers Quadpay is a payment. However, Quadpay is awful when using their app. While using the app, a merchant charged me full price. Another time while using the app, a merchant declined my purchase and I had more than enough funds to cover the purchase. Quadpay does NOT respond to messages.
Company ripped me off, charged me for merchandise I never received. I order sunglasses from Vint & York, during the checkout process QUADPAY offered me an installment plan of 4 equal payments. I signed up with QUADPAY, put my debit card on file and was charged the first payment of $27.25. The next day I got an email from Vint & York stating that my order was cancelled by QUADPAY. Immediately I went to the QUADPAY app only to have Support options via chat or email. Please do not signup with QUADPAY. BUYER BEWARE. 2nd installment is set to draft on September ***. By the way I never received a response from Support and I sent multiple requests.
Hello -
We are writing from QuadPay to address and old closed complaint. We have written to our customer and apologized for his frustration over the situation and the lack of response from us. We are working diligently to ensure all of the backlog is addressed and that we prevent repeats of the same issue. In this case, we have a new feature on the app that would allow the customer to report the refund in the app without contacting support. We also are onboarding a team of CX folks who will be in a better position to assist customers wirth complaints and issues as they arise.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
