Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and for using QuadPay.I apologize for the poor experience you've had

We're a payment processor and we issue refunds automatically when we're notified by the merchant that an order has been cancelled or a refund issued.

In this instance, we were only notified by the merchant to refund $158.75 against the order.

Normally, you would need to request the additional amount be refunded by the merchant, since we were not notified to refund the full order.

However, as a courtesy, your funds have been returned to you in full.

Apologies again for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience.

Thanks!QuadPay Support

I ordered a pair of Ugg boots from Decker USA on December ,2018 and used the Quadpay option for payment. On December ***, the order was canceled because they didn’t have the boots in stock. On December ***, I emailed Quadpay about the cancellation and asked about my refund after they told me that they would be taking another installment payment out of my bank account. On January *,2019, this installment was taken out of my account. On January *** I called Decker USA and they informed me that they had sent the information to Quadpay about the cancellation on December *** and they would send it to them again. I emailed them again on January *** and told them that if the issue wasn’t resolved soon I would go to my bank to get charges reversed. They emailed back again saying they were looking into the matter. On January *** instead of getting an email that my refund was sent, I received an email that they were taking another payment from my account. That payment was charged to my account on January ***. On January ***, I was finally feed up and went to my bank and I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one and file for them to look into the charges. This company needs training in customer service and handling refunds.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

I made a purchase of $350.40 on 12/*/2018. Which was two pairs of shoes. I returned one pair of shoe 12//2018. I made my first two payments with quadpay in the amount of $87.60. Before the second payment was due the returned product was already received by the merchant and quadpay was already notified about the returned product and they still took my money. I've been in contact with quadpay by email since 12/*** and they keep telling me im not owed a refund for the returned product. They kept telling me my refund of $175.20 would be applied to my outstanding balance which would be the 3rd and 4th payment of $43.80 for one pair of shoes I kept. But they refused to fix the problem or refund me back my money from a returned product. I told them I would report them to the Revdex.com on 1/14 and they haven't even emailed me back trying to rectify the situation.

QuadPay Response • Jan 21, 2019

Hi there,I'm sorry for the confusion about your order and how our refund process works. You made order *** for $350.44, which was divided into 4 installments of $87.60 each on December *. You paid the first installment when placing the order. On December *** you paid the second installment. On December *** we were notified by the merchant to apply a refund in the amount of $175.20 to your account. At that time, you had 2 unpaid installments of $87.60, for a total remaining balance of $175.20. Since the refund was exactly equal to the total of the final installments, they were simply cancelled and you were not charged for those installments.Everything worked according to our system and is as it should be based off the notification we received from the merchant. As of now your account is in good standing, but you are not owed any additional refund based on the order total and refund notification received from the merchant. If you believe you are owed a different refund amount, you will need to contact the merchant to issue an additional refund against your order. Thanks!QuadPay Support

[Your Answer Here]

I returned the product that’s worth $175.20 after tax according to *** quad pay took out the $87.60 after they were notified that the product was returned... the 3rd and 4th installments should of been half of $87.60 because now I’m only paying for one pair of shoes and not two...so still since I returned a pair of shoes and refund is definitely owed.. it’s like what’s the purpose of returning something and not getting my money back! You guys definitely took out the $87.60 after I sent back the returned product according to UGG. I’m not concerned about the first payment. I’m concerned about the 2nd, 3rd and 4th installment. And you guys are definitely not being fair about what’s owed to me. PERIOD!

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Hi there,

Your order was for $350.40. 1/2 of that was refunded, or $175.20. The other 1/2 was paid in 2 installments of $86.70 each. The refunded half was "refunded" in that you did not have to pay the remaining 2 installments that were due to finalize your order of $350.40.If you feel you are owed any more money than the $175.20 refund issued by the merchant, please reach out to them to provide an additional refund amount.Otherwise, your entire order was processed correctly. Best of luck!QuadPay

I do not feel like I’m owed more money. As far as the $175.20 it wasn’t refunded directly towards my bank account. It was directed towards the Quadpay account which I feel isn’t right. The company shouldn’t have any say so over something their not paying for. Which Quadpay doesn’t understand.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Quadpay does not stand by their refund policy! I purchased a pair of boots from a company on December 12, 2018, but cancelled it the next day due to being on backorder. Quadpay was sent the release of Funds transaction on December 14, 2018 but has not processed the transaction. I've emailed their support dozens of times to fix the problem, but every response email is generic and states to contact the merchant. They refuse to accept responsibility or admit to not doing their job! To make things worst, they even took out a 2nd installment payment. Do not do business with this company no matter how tempting their lies may be.

On 12//18 I went on UGG sight to purchase a pair of boots. Ugg uses a third party (Quadpau) to collect the payment. I went through Quadpay to purchase the boots and on 12//18 Quad pay deducted $41.07 from my account as well as sent me a email of the amount that will be deducted ($41.07) from my account. On 12//18 I received an email from ugg that the order could not be fulfilled and as well as a email from ugg regarding the refund. The email from Quadpay stated I will receive a refund in the amount of $32.59. and I was refunded $32.59 from Quadpay. I contacted Ugg Immediately that I am owed an additional $8.48, Ugg stated I have to contact Quadpay. I reached out to Quadpay via email regarding this and they said I need to contact ugg I informed Quadpay of what Ugg said. Quadpay is on my Bank statement and I have the email from Quadpay. Quadpay will not refund me the additional monies that the owe me ($8.48). I have email Quadpay again and there response was refer back to Ugg for the refund.

On December ***, I made a purchase from ugg THROUGH Quadpay services. a couple days later, I received an email from UGG saying that the item I purchased was no longer in their inventory and also discontinued, so they cancelled my order. I received proof from UGG that the order was cancelled. I then reached out to QuadPay to inquire about getting a refund on the money I paid for this item that was cancelled. Quadpay does NOT have a phone number for customer service, so the only thing I could do is send them an email... which I have done SIX times now. Every single time I send them an email, I get a generic response. The response says they will respond within 24-48 hours. Multiple times I was NEVER responded to. I kept on emailing Quadpay. I kept on sending proof that the item was cancelled as well as proof that UGG has released the funds back to Quadpay on 12//2018. Today's date is 1//2019 (14 days later) I finally received a response from Quadpay. The response I received says that they do not have confirmation that the funds were released from UGG. Again, I responded and again, I uploaded 3 forms of documentation proving that the item was in fact cancelled, and they have in fact received their money back from UGG. They are playing games with me. I want my money back now. I am 2 seconds away from calling my bank and forcing the refund myself. This company seems like a total SHAM and I am very upset. I am sick of emailing them over and over and over. It goes nowhere.

On Dec , 2018 I placed an order with a merchant who offered Quadpay payment processing as an option to pay for my purchase. I selected this option and proceeded to complete my purchase. Shortly after receiving confirmation for my first payment of 81.99, I saw a better price at a different merchant. I immediately cancelled my order and received confirmation from the merchant that my account would not be charged. This was not accurate, Quadpay processed my first payment and prepared a payment schedule for the remaining 3 payments to be automatically withdrawn in equal payments every 2 weeks. Quadpay customer service is email only. The business does not offer direct contact with a customer service representative. This presented the problem. The email reply was a general reply that was not specific to my particular problem. I emailed 4 times only to learn that Quadpay did not have a policy in place to refund cancelled orders. Due to their lack of proper policies and procedures I was charged $8 for a late fee on an order that was cancelled 3 weeks prior. I emailed again to ask why I was charged for this negligence? I got the same general reply that was not specific to my issue. I finally received a partial refund minus a late payment fee. This is outrageous! I did nothing wrong. Due to their email only policy I had to email and wait for a reply, try to explain my problem in an email that was not read thoroughly by their customer service representative. Wait for another reply that still did not address my problem. I understand that $5 is not a lot of money but it is due to me. Quadpay failed to have a proper policy in place to assist customers with refunds on a cancelled order. Now that I have had this issue, it is now an option on their list of complaints. However I was still charged $5 for being late on making a 2nd payment ON AN ORDER THAT WAS CANCELLED 3 weeks prior! I hope you can help resolve this matter. Thank you

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and for using QuadPay. I apologize for the poor experience you've had.

We're a payment processor and we issue refunds automatically when we're notified by the merchant that an order has been cancelled or a refund issued. I

n this instance, we were notified by the merchant on January 8, two days after your first installment was due. Our policy is that payments must be made until the refund notification is received by the merchant.

Since your payment was not made on time, a fee was applied to your account.

When the refund was received, we deducted this late fee, but went ahead and refunded the fee to you as a courtesy on January , 2019.

Apologies again for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience.

Thanks!QuadPay Support

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. It should be noted however, that multiple attempts to resolve my issue were take. This business has an email only contact policy. I understand the limitations with the consumer, but email only communications with their merchants should be revised. Quadpay support should open contact to the merchant to include one on one voice communication. My issue was unique in that my order was cancelled within minuets of placing the order with the merchant. The merchant did not complete the transaction, therefore the refund notification was not initiated to Quadpay payment processing. The merchant's cancellation initiated an email to me to advise me that I would not be charged. Due to the email contact policy it took 3 weeks to resolve a problem that should have been resolved in a more timely manner.

Sincerely

I currently had a balance of $.01 with QuadPay. I tried to pay it with my debit card but my bank wouldn't let a transaction of one cent go through so instead of QuadPay just writing off the one cent balance they charged me a $7 late fee for not paying the one cent balance and automatically charged my debit card $7.01. They don't have a phone number to call so I emailed them on 1/*/19 about my dispute and the only response I received back was an email asking how I rate them.

I used this service when getting some ugg boots from Decker. UGG cancelled my order so they sent me documentation to send to Quadpay so that I would no longer be subject to paying the bi-weekly payment. I have reached out to Quadpay over 10 times to stop these attempts on my account. I reached out to UGG and they too informed me that they let Quadpay know that same that my order was cancelled.

I'm sorry for the frustration and difficulty with this.

Our system has not been notified by the merchant of the refund. Refunds are applied automatically as soon as we receive notice from the merchant. Deckers has a portal they can log into to issue the refund. They have several specialists that can access this portal and issue the refund, which will automatically be applied to your account.

That said, we have processed a refund in good faith and we will raise directly with the merchant. Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

Thanks,

QuadPay Support

I brought merchandise from a merchant who offers QuadPay. The item got returned and the merchant refunded quad pay on 12//18 the monies for the merchandise. I overpaid quad pay so they sent me an email saying they issued a refund to my account of $131.81 on 12//18. I have yet to receive my monies. I’ve contacted them consistently about this issue but they either don’t reply or reply with information that does not pertain to my issue. But they still taking money out of my account.

We received notice to refund your order *** on 12/*** for $365.02.

I can confirm we have since issued the remaining refund and removed any late fees. You should receive 2 separate, additional refunds, for $7.00 and $116.60, which, when added to the $8.21 that was already refunded, will add up to your refund total of $131.81.Please let me know if you need anything else! Thanks,QuadPay Support

On 12/*/1*, I purchased an item from Decker Brands Inc in the amount of $145.*0. I used the third party merchant, QuadPay to finance this purchase. A payment of $36.46 was withdrawn on 12/by QuadPay. For some reason, the order was stuck in processing, so it was eventually cancelled on 12/*** by Decker. At this time, QuadPay was notified of the cancellation. A pending installment debit of $36.45 wa due to draft on 12/, so QuadPay had a sufficient amount of time to cancel the debit. On 12/*** and 12/, I notified QuadPay of the cancellation. I received two automated responses stating they had to be notified by the merchant. The merchant advised they’d already noticed QuadPay. On 12/, I spoke with the merchant again and they agreed to send an email to QuadPay verifying the cancellation of the order, with me cc’d on the email. No response was received from QuadPay and my account was debited this morning 12/*** for an additional $36.45. QuadPay refuses to acknowledge the order cancellation and continues to debit my account, which should be a contract violation. I need my money refunded all all further installments cancelled.

I had purchased two boots from UGGS on 11//18 and paid thru QuadPay for a total of $304.82. After a couple of days, I checked the status of my purchase and noticed it was cancelled. I also saw that the first installment payment was already collected by QuadPay so I assumed that I would get a refund within a couple of days since the order was cancelled. Several days later I get an email from QuadPay that they were going to collect my 2nd installment plan. I was confused on why I got this email because I thought my order was cancelled so I called UGGS customer service. The customer rep I spoke to said that my order was indeed cancelled and said that I had to reach out to QuadPay for my refund since they are a third party company and not associated with UGGS. I emailed QuadPay’s customer service (only because they do not list any phone number on their website) and explained that my order was cancelled and please stop all payments and refund my first installment. I get an automated reply from QuadPay a day later saying that I will get my refund when UGGS notifies them that the order was cancelled and the funds were refunded. Now since both companies are telling me two different stories, I called and emailed UGGS again and both times they mentioned that they did cancel the order, refunded the funds and emailed QuadPay saying to please stop payment and refund payment. I also sent another email to QuadPay stating the exact same thing. As of today, 12//18, QuadPay has taken 3 installment payments of $76.21.

Thanks for reaching out and for using QuadPay.

I can confirm we refunded the charges once we were notified of the refund by the merchant.

QuadPay is a payment processor so we will automatically provide a refund once a merchant notifies us that they have accepted a return - I'm sorry the merchant took longer to do this in this instance.

My apologies for the delay.

Have a happy 2019!

Quad pay withdrew money from my bank account without an order or authorization. Tried to contact them for over a week with absolutely no response. Had to report fraudulent charges with my bank and change account numbers. Quad pay has no telephone number for contacts and have no responded to any emails. They took $63.67 out of my account without permission. I would like my money back.

Thanks again and please let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks!QuadPay Support

I sent an email to change my payment date, online it states in the chat to send an email and that someone "typically" responds in under 3 hours. Nothing. Payment day comes, take late fee, send another email to change next date and see about that fee since I reached out, no response. Sent a direct email thru Twitter and was told they would reply soon. Called UGG who I used this Quad Pay service for and they gave me a number of to call and speak with someone and it's nothing but a voice recording that says send an email. As of today, I have heard nothing. Good idea but when there is no live person - this service isn't worth the frustration of not hearing back.

QuadPay Response • Jan 04, 2019

Unfortunately we're not always able to change the payment dates to those requested, particularly if the request is close to the actual date of payment or if a number of requests are made for the same order - although we always try to accommodate requests to change payment dates if possible.

That said, I've gone ahead and refunded our late fee for you on this occasion.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
