You mean to tell me this whole situatiom couldnt be handled any better? Upon completing out requests online, we were given a reference number, that number does absolutely nothing.

[redacted]i have asked 2 things of [redacted]:  Why caused the electrical fire and is the other [redacted] toaster oven I have safe to operate.  Thus far they have not anawered either request.  I would never use the oven I sent to them again as it could have burned my home down.  They have my permission to deconstruct this appliance to determine what caused the electrical fire.

Please be advised that Cuisinart's Customer Service Staff tried with great effort to resolve this matter with [redacted] following the company's protocol. Cuisinart will refund Mr. Carlson $$267.90.  When the refund check is received from our Finance Department it will be forwarded...

As advised by Revdex.com of CT. & Chris Hall of Tennessee Dept. of Commerce & Ins. Cuisinart will forward a replacement unit to the consumer as soon as this writer receives his unit. Name and address to send unit to was advised in our response of 1/20/16! Our protocol is to receive & evaluate a unit that the consumer believes is not functioning properly.

[redacted]In my original complaint I explained there is a greenish liquid that comes from the socket when plugged in and coming from the cord from the unit itself. The plates are loose and doesn't fit tightly. The grease spills underneath the unit. Lastly the unit is  not heating properly.

Mr. [redacted] was denied a replacement as his unit was purchased from an unauthorized dealer.  We did not sell the griddler to this dealer and/or its predecessor.  We will forward return postage to him to return the griddler for a one time replacement.

Our Customer Service Division has no record of this matter.  A return shipping label will be sent to the consumer to return the appliance and the purchase receipt for a refund.
