I ordered a sample of their eye cream for $4.95 on Jan. 24, 2018. After hearing from a friend that this was a scam I called on Jan. 26, 2018 and told them I did not want to receive any products from them and they stated that they could not find me in the system anywhere, so that should not be a problem. Now on March 13, 2018 I receive my credit card bill and there are 4 charges which total $356.84. When I called this a.m. and spoke to Daniel they again told me that they could not find me in their system and he would not be able to help me and then he hung up!!! I tried to call back and was on hold forever and their recording says they are experiencing a high call volume. I bet they are with other people complaining about the scam they have going.

On February 7, 2018, I order a trial sample of face cream for $4.95 and eye serum at $4.90. I received an order confirmation and a shipment confirmation and received the trial products. Since that time, I have been charged $89.95 on 2/23, $88.47 on 2/26, $89.95 on 3/12 and $88.47 on 3/13. I discovered this today. I have received NO products since the original trial sizes were sent.
I looked at my order confirmation and there is no company masthead, address or other information. I went to Radiant Revive.com and found the following #1/855/633-0203. I called and spoke with an individual (whose name I believe was Destiny). I gave her my order #...it couldn't be found. At her request, I then gave her my name and zip code...nothing could be found. She then asked me for the first 6 digits and last 4 digits of the credit card I used. I refused and asked to speak with a manager. She said that there was no manager for me to speak to. I believe this is a scam and would like all the $ debited from my account to be reimbursed by Radiant Revive.

I am rejecting this response because:

I have received 5 emails from Radiant Revive this morning. Two are cancellations related to order numbers I NEVER PLACED. And odd that the three refund notifications (also for order numbers never placed) claim that I placed the order on the following dates/times: 2/22 at 12:41am; 3/10 at 12:42am; and 3/11 at 12:38 am...3 different dates but all at approximately the same time of the night! Three of the emails indicate that they have refunded the amounts of $88.47 (for the 2/26 charge), $89.95 (for the 3/12 charge) and $88.47 (for the 3/13 charge). I still have not received refund notices for the 2/23 charge of $89.95 and the $4.95 charge on 3/12. Furthermore, the pending refunds are NOT showing with my bank as of yet; I will not be surprised if these refunds never find their way to my account. I am deeply concerned with this company because there is nothing that suggests that signing up for a trial sample is actually setting up a subscription. (I went through the motions online yesterday to reconfirm this was the case). I further am intrigued that when I called the company yesterday, they couldn't find my name, email address, phone number or order #'s for the trial samples and now today, they have sent me emails with order numbers I never placed. I am attaching 2 documents. The first is my order confirmations for the trial sizes with nothing to indicate a subscription order. The second document are the refund/cancellation emails. If you review these refunds/cancellations, you will see that there is no contact information for Customer Service. You will see the bogus order numbers and order dates/times.

Customer Response • Mar 15, 2018

Thank you. I will let you know if in 7 days I don't receive a refund.

I made two purchases on 3/12 and 10 min later after I reaceived the confirmation email new something was fishy with this company when the emails looked more like fake company emails than a real business. I immediately decided to cancel and they stated you could call an 800 number or email the support email with the subject line of “cancellation” which I did three times and never heard back except a generic reply that said to contact the 800 number which I know will get me no where as I read many other complaints.. I am not asking for a refund of what was charged to me I just want my “subscription” cancelled so they do not try to bill me for anything else

I am rejecting this response because:

who in their right mind would pay $178 for the cream that you sent??? AND, why is it on sale at AMAZON for $29.99 if it's worth $180? If you would do business like normal people and not try to scam, I would have alot more respect. Meanwhile, I will continue to let my friends (and the world) know about you do business. Sell your product for face value -with no small print - and you would NOT have my complaint along with all the others you have online.

I ordered a free trial size product to see if it worked. The company then chargers me for two products one was supposed to be free and one I was only supposed to pay $4.95 for s/h after 12 days I saw I was charged $89 & $88 so I went back and checked bank statements and was charged $2.90, $4.90 and the agreed upon $4.95 when I contacted my Bank I told them it was fraud cause they charged my card without consent I had no paperwork with phone number so Bank gave me the number said I should call them and I did. I was told by the company that it was a free trial not really free and after 14 days they were allowed to charge me for these products at full price plus a membership that I never agreed to ever. Then I asked for a refund and I’ll send the product back they said no. They told me I now need to cancel my membership that I never agreed to so I wouldn’t continue to be billed so I did so and also said I need confirmation of all products canceled. Now my bank says I have to pay cause the company says when I clicked on the bottom? That’s my agreement to their terms and they also said they offered me a partial refund and that’s a lie customer service treated me like garbage like I did something wrong and I was taken advantage of. There are lots of complaints on the net about them I regret I didn’t look that up first. But even if there is some loop hole for them to take advantage of ppl doesn’t make it right to do so most of us ppl are good hard working and poor we deserve better. Why would I return a product that was supposed to be free and the product never came with any paperwork? To even try to return if I knew that’s what was required. It’s not okay companies are allowed to do this.

I am rejecting this response because:

My bank will be removing the funds from my bank account. I prefer to return this product. I’m not the only customer with the same issues exactly the same issues and they are all saying what I’ve said. We all can’t be stupid. I was repeadly asked to stay a customer with a discount but never offered a full refund also I was told no about returning this product. I don’t feel it’s all coincidence that no paperwork was inside the box, no return labels no address on the outside of the box. I never had a direct website I was always redirected so I did not have any access to contact the company I always only got to a place to email my information not get theirs. Lesson learned don’t trust a company just because a celebrity is associated with it. I will continue to tell those ppl out there and warn them about this very shady company.

I am rejecting this response because:
Good afternoon, this email is regarding my complaint # 12732069 against Radiant Revive. My last communications with you it stated you closed my case because the company told you they gave me a full refund... It also said give them 7 days to do this but on 03/19/2018 these amounts were removed from my account $89.95, $88.47, $4.90, & $2.49 the date was very recent so obviously they lied and did not provide me with ANY type of refund what so ever & especially not a full refund. This complaint needs to be re-opened and investigated. I can email you a screen shot of these charges from my bank if needed as proof. Thank you for your time

Customer Response • Mar 27, 2018

Let me try to explain better. I reported these charges to my bank on approximately March 1st or 2nd as fraudulent because it was only supposed to be $4.95 I would be charged just for shipping so my bank then reversed the charges from this company only during and until their investigation was completed to see if it fit the parameter of their required definition of fraud so after about a week I received a letter saying it didn’t make my banks requirements as fraud. But my banks card was canceled and I was issued a new bank card. My banks letter also stated the charges from Radiant Revive company would be reversed and again removed from my bank and I needed to contact the company and work it out with them. Which I did try but got no where and was denied a full refund and basically talked down to the entire time. I was constantly offered deals if I would stay with the company and order more products which I told them I wanted no part in a company that took advantage of ppl. As previously stated Radiant Revive said they gave me a full refund which was never the truth, it was my bank that first reversed the charges pending an investigation. Now the said amounts previously emailed to you were removed from my account. I never received a refund at all from the company and as I was told by Revdex.com refunds are not accepted. You had said that this case is closed because I received a full refund, which is not the case. I will try to attach the photo from my bank statement that shows on 3/19/18 Radiant Revive received money in the said amounts above and if I’m unable to attach the photo here I will email proof to the email that was given to me in the body of this email. Thank you for your help and time. I was unable to figure out how to attach the photo I will email it thank you

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it. After going through all of this mess, I appreciate finally getting a refund. Thank you

On February 3, 2018, I responded to a free trial for a facial moisturizer and eye serum that popped up on the internet when I was on an unrelated site. The offer stated the only cost would be for shipping at $4.95. When I clicked on the site and completed the order, there was a box to check to verify I was over 18 years. No where on this site was there any mention that this was only a 14 day free trial. I received the products, which I found flaked and was not satisfactory. On March 9, 2018 I received another box of the facial moisturizer. There was a packing slip, however there was no contact information included. Because I had not ordered this second shipment, after much searching, I was able to find a number (actually from a string of facebook postings warning people of this scam), and called the customer service number which I found was a call center. After explaining the above I was at first told there couldn't be anything done. I persisted and then was told I could be refunded 35% of the cost. I stated I wanted a full refund and my account cancelled. I found that those who order the free trial are unknowingly precipitating a monthly subscription and will find charges on their credit cards every month. ($89.95/mo for the moisturizer and $88/mo for the eye serum). I have received emails showing that the account has been cancelled, however the warnings of the scam state that the company would still continue to charge your credit card each month, so it was recommended to cancel the credit or bank card which I had to do. I am returning the second shipment of product that was sent to me. I have also received emails stating that this latest shipment has been refunded. It appears this scam is not new. There is evidence that it has been going on for at least 4 yrs. It is disturbing that these fraudulent business practices have been allowed to continue. I believe the Radiant Revive company owners use deliberate deceiving tactics to lure consumers in with the free trial, tricking them into a monthly subscription. This needs to stop.

READ THE FINE PRINT!!!! They say you have 14 days to call in and cancel or you will be charged the full price. I did not see this in the fine print. Regardless, they mean 14 days FROM THE DAY YOU PLACE THE ORDER.....NOT 14 days from the time you actually physically receive the product. This is NOT CLEAR and gives you NO TIME to actually TRY the product before getting charged the full price of $88.47! This is DECEPTIVE in every way. I called today (13 Business days from the date I ordered) and was told it was too late to get my money back. Unethical business practice. If you call and complain they will only offer you a PARTIAL refund. Nothing more. False, deceptive advertising.

Under no circumstances should you do business with radiant revive cream. I miss understood their terms and conditions and have been charged almost $400 for products I did not want. They definitely are a rip-off company. I thought the trial products were mine free no matter what. Be weary of this kind of company.

I saw an advertisement for a free sample of a skin care product on social media. I have ordered through social media before with no problems. To get the product, all you had to do was pay for the shipping and handling of the product. I ordered two products. After I received my products, I noticed my bank account was overdrawn. I noticed where the company had charged me $89 for the product and then another $88. I sent the company e-mails stating the problem because I could not find an address or phone number for the company. When I received my product, there was not a slip in the box for return information. The company e-mailed me back after several days. They said the terms said if I did not let them know within fourteen days that I would be billed for the full amount of the product. That was not clear and I would have never ordered the product. It did not tell these terms in the agreement when I ordered the product. The company offered me a 35% refund. I told them no and I would be filing a report with small claims. I hung up. I tried to be nice about the whole situation but the person on the other line argued with me. They called me right back and offered me a 60% refund. They said it would be in my account in 3-5 business days. This is not enough. I want my WHOLE refund. I want all the money back they stole from me. After this ordeal, I looked for Radiant Revive reviews on the internet. It turns out that I am not the only one this has happened to. This is a scam!

I order this product using my phone, on 2/18/18. The advertisement stated that I would only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Before I could make the final purchase, a message came up on the screen stating "not finished yet." I clicked in order to proceed, and before I realized it, I had an order for eye cream, with an additional shipping and handling fee of $4.90, plus a charge of $2.49, for a total of $12.34. When I received the products, the package contained a shipping document without any contact information or instructions regarding returning the products. On 3/8/18, I checked my bank account, and notice two charges from Radiant Revive; one charge for $88.47, and a second for $89.95 totalling $178.42. I immediately contacted my bank to inform them of the unauthorized charge on my account. My bank immediately cancelled my credit card, requiring me to wait to receive a replacement. I received the contact phone number from my bank, and called the customer service department at Radiant Revive. I was told that I had 14 days to try the product, and was charged the full product price because I did not cancel within the 14 days. Nowhere on the webpage was the full price of the products stated. I stated that the 14 days was not up, since I received the product on 2/23/18. I was informed that the 14 days started on the day I order the products. I stated that it was not a ture 14 day trial, since there is no way to "try" a product while it is being shipped. I was then informed that that was the company policy, and I could not get a refund. I asked to speak with someone more superior, at which time the person on the phone told me that there was no one else, and that she would handle the situation. I insisted, stating that she was not handling the situation, because she was not able to give me a refund. She then relented and put me on hold. A second person came on the phone, and basically told me the same thing; refusing to issue a refund, even if I returned the product.
On 3/9/18, I received a call from my bank, who had Radiant Revive customer service on the line. I explained that I would returned the product, had there been instructions on the packing slip with contact information. In addition, I stated that had I realized the full price (which is not listed on their web page), would be charged to my account, I would not have order the product in the first place. The customer service agent stated she would issue a 30% refund totalling $62.44. Due to the deceptive practices used to charge me for these products, I would like a full refund.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it.

My account was credited on 4/6/18, for the balance of the refund, in the amounts of $57.51 and $58.47. This constitutes a full refund.

Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

Same scam as everyone else. Ordered a sample with a 2 week trial before a subscription kicks in. 7 days after ordering (before the sample even arrived) they charged my wife's account $88 and $92. The website doesn't have a phone number, but it comes on the credit card bill so you can call them. They're based in NC. Be prepared for an unpleasant conversation.
They refused to refund the money but said they would cancel her "subscription". Got nasty on the phone and told my wife to buzz off, "it was her fault, not theirs".
Called the bank Nov 20th and filed fraud charges to get the charges reversed. Today (Mar 9th) I'm reviewing the bank statement online and notice a $4.95 charge by Radiant Revive. Usually I ignore the small change charges since we have gotten into the habit of using the card for small convenience store purchases but the company name caught my eye. I go back through previous months and sure enough they have been charging my wife's credit card $4.95 every month since Dec 4th.
Filed another fraud charge and cancelled her card this morning.
If you've been scammed by this company, go back through your records and make sure they aren't still stealing from you.

I also followed a Facebook ad for trial sample of radiant revive and was misled. I thought I was to receive the samples and that was. It was definitely not obvious in the process that my credit card was going to be charged $89.85 and $88.47 for these so called trial products. I have since cancelled (with confirmation numbers given) this subscription!!!!!! Was told I cannot return these unopened products and cannot receive a refund because I had to cancel within the 14 days. This sucks!!!!!!

Radiant Revive is a very deceptive and employs unfriendly business practices for it's customers. When I purchased on my screen no where did it state the type of agreement I was entering. You would have to scroll down the page and why would you when you can make the purchase without doing so. So now I have $200 of charges on credit card for a product that they gave me 14 days to decide if I wanted but when you talk to a representative they say I didn't give enough time. In addition because I received my CC statement outside of some arbitrary 30 day window they establish they say I can't return the product (which I haven't seen yet) for a refund if I return promptly in tact. This is the definition of a bad company which is borderline "scam". If they cared about these types of customer oversights they would put on their front page "IMPORTANT INFORMATION" like credit reporting agencies do. In addition the customer service rep was condescending as she pushed and pushed the product and the agreement. I just want my money back!

Radiant Revive Response • Mar 08, 2018

We apologize for your troubles. During the checkout process there were terms and conditions you had to read and agree to before confirming your order. These conditions state you will have 14 days to try our product out and call in and cancel if you wish to do so. If no call is made then you are charged for the full retail price of our products. Also, we sincerely apologize for your experience you had with out customer support agent. As we are growing and training we are definitely focused on making sure our support agents are trained properly and are operating professionally. This is unacceptable and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can deal with it. We hope you will continue to use our products and see the amazing results you were originally looking for.

This company's product does not work and some where in the fine print it says you have 14 days to cancel. It takes a week to get the product and you only get to try it for 1 week? This does not make any sense. So getting my credit card bill I am charged for the product $89. 00 for each product I wanted to try ( that does not do what it said it would ) And they will not refund your money. because you supposedly read all the fine print !! What a scam this is , customer service is so bad. I do not recommend this company in any way. I never usually buy anything like this and now I remember why people out there just take you for all they can. They are making some big bucks off poor people.

We apologize for your troubles. During the checkout process there were terms and conditions you had to read and agree to , to confirm your order. These terms state that if you do not call within your offer period, then you are charged for the full retail price of our products. Again, we apologize for any misunderstanding you may have had with our offer. Our products are filled with natural ingredients, so over consistent use and time you will see the results you were originally looking for. I must ensure you that our company is not a scam and our only wish is that our product amazes our customers with its striking effects and that we are able to provide our products with great convenience and support

As many others, I found this product on Facebook. I decided to take up the Free Trial offer. I read each page very carefully, looking for the "loopholes". As you go through the "pages", this one pops up stating you will receive an eye cream. I figured I would not receive it given I have not been given the option to accept it. The pages I later discover, are set up to deceive. I received notice from my bank that I was charged $88.47 I tried to find a number for the company on the receipt and found none until I checked online and found it on "Rip-Off". I also filed a complaint with them, as well. I called the number and asked the CSR to cancel my subscription ASAP. She proceeded to make me offers of discounts from 30 to 50%. Seriously??! She claimed I had to read the "Terms of Agreement"before submitting my order. As a genuine business you hare required to assure that your "Terms of Agreement" are front and center and give your clients the OPTION to agree or disagree. By the way, I was charged again, but for the eye cream which is kind of "forced" given no option is provided to choose not to receive it. I let this go as a lesson, even though it's a lot of money. The following month, I get another charge to my credit card. I called again, given this time I was ash-white angry. The CSR told me that the first cancellation did not go through and that the credit charge would be cancelled. I do not trust them to do anything. I do not want to deal with this company anymore given they are deceitful. By the way, the terms of agreement are at the very bottom of the page. You click on the small letters that say "terms". That is not forthright advertising. If you really want to retain customers, your advertising and site pages have to change. Everything has to be clear and forthcoming. I was initially charged, $4.95, $4.90 and $2.49 for a total of $12.34 which is not the agreed amount of "Just $4.95" for a "free trial".

We provide the terms and conditions to our customers throughout the checkout process to read and agree to if they wish to continue with their order. Again, we apologize for any misunderstanding you had with our offer, and at this time you have been fully refunded ,and we will be reaching out to you shortly to ensure satisfaction. We hope you will continue to use our products and see the amazing results they can provide.

This is a scam I was totally a rip off. I wanted to try free beauty skin care I talked to rep to make sure it was not a scam all I had to pay for was shipping $12.34. Well then they charged me $178.42 on my charge card without telling me. The product made my skin dry and my eyes more puffy. This is totally a scam don't fall for it like I did.

The company is very dishonest! VERY misleading as to products and how to return them. I tried calling and they were very rude and unnegotialble. NO WHERE on the packages did it say anything about returning in 14 days or you will be charge every month 89.00 and 92.00! nor in the advertising when you ordered. Free with handling charge of 4.95. Its too bad you have these kinds of company's that say "TOO BAD for you, you ordered it and you This is an outrageous company to deal with, no customer service skills!

Customer Response • Mar 07, 2018

After going through the Revdex.com in Greensboro on a complaint against Radiant Revive that I had, I quickly received a reply from the management . They did refund my second order, which I never received, but am pleased they refunded that amount, which was my gripe. Words of caution when buying over the internet, READ everything, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is as. Hopefully their customer service will be better towards the customer as I got no satisfaction from customer service. I have received several responses from them, all of which I am very satisfied with.

Ordered 1/21/18
Received 2/10/18 (nothing in box but products)
2/9/18 Did not like product so tried to find return info on site but nothing there so sent them email requesting return info. No response.
Found address and phone # on Revdex.com so called and they cancelled "subscription" but would not cancel charge unless returned.
2/10/18 Mailed back to RR via USPS and tracking shows it was delivered 2/12/18.
Issues:
-Not clear in ordering that this is an automatic subscription.
-No return/cancellation information on site
-Policy is must return within 14 days of order but you don't get until day 10!! This is also not clear on sign-up
-Pure scam to get initial charges
They should be shut down for their business practices.

Company had 14 day policy to cancel. I cancelled before 14 days. Assured no further subscription. 3 weeks later company charged my card twice.
Called to complain & said I would have to call with bank for any complaints. Called my bank filed case against company that refused to reimburse me. No items were received for these two charges

You must call in to cancel your account. However, if you emailed us to cancel, then a response will inform you to call our customer service number to further assist you. Since we understand your misunderstanding with our offer we have fully refunded your charges and we will be reaching out to you shortly to ensure satisfaction. I purchased the trial offer for a line minimizer and a moisturizer. First off they do not work. I have used the product exactly as instructed and there has been no change. In the meantime I have received another shipment of the product. I proceeded to email the company from their website to request a cancellation and I never received an email in response. I then went to my credit card billing statement and found an 855 number and called. I do not even want to get into the unprofessionalism of the customer service representative (she picked up the phone up the phone but was having a conversation with a co-worker, after finishing their conversation she finally said "can I help you?"). I explained that the product did not do as it advertised and I would like to cancel my auto ship; I also told her that I was shipped another shipment of product which I DO NOT WANT, I asked if I could return the UNOPENED product for a refund and she said they do not take any returns. What company does not take unopened new product? I feel I should be able to receive a refund for this product!!! All I can say is do not purchase from this company the product is outrageously priced for something that does not work and does not stand behind their product to accept returns on product that was NEVER OPENED!!! I only gave a one star because it doesn't allow anything less. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about these horrible business practices.

I sincerely apologize for your experience you had with out customer support agent. As we are growing and training we are definitely focused on making sure our support agents are trained properly and are operating professionally. This is unacceptable and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can deal with it. Also our customer service number can be found directly on our bottles. We do this to avoid misplacement. Our company strictly follows a no return policy and this is for health issues and safety. I must assure you our products are filled with natural ingredients so over consistent use , you will see the results over time depending on each person's type of skin. Again we do apologize for your troubles, and we hope you will continue to use the product and over time see the results you were originally looking for.
