Radiant Revive Reviews (%countItem)

There is NO mention of direct shipment or amount that they are going to automatically charge your acct - the sample comes with NO information regarding the company or anything. When I saw that there was a pending payment from my account I called the person that sounded like he was in a movie theater - gave me a cancellation # *** but said that there isn't refund policy and no returns - I asked if I could talk to a manager and he said I'd have to call back at another time. Then I started researching online and multiple people have been taken by this company. When I told the assoc that I had looked for info regarding automatic shipments and charges BEFORE getting the sample he just said, well you checked that you were over 18 and agreed with the terms - I said - there WERE NO terms on the page!!!! I'm calling my bank tomorrow but I'm TIRED of companies taking hard working peoples money!!! The ad I purchased my from was on facebook.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it.

I did talk with a supervisor today that was very nice and apologized. Thank you for your assistance

I ordered a free trial of face cream and paid the shipping and handling of $4.95. Subsequently I was charged $89.95 . I did not authorize this site to store my credit card information. Upon contacting my bank they were unable to help me but supplied me with a phone number that was not to be found on their radiant revive website. Upon calling them I was advised that the free trial jar that I received would now cost $89.95 because they were not contacted within 14 days of sending the “/free sample”, which is now 89.95. According to the company representative it is in the fine print somewhere. After arguing my case the company will credit me back 50%. I am looking for a fun credit of $89.95. When I called the bank they were aware of these deceptive business practices.
An item is not a free trial if you then get billed $89.95. I was not buying a house, I am an honest hardworking individual and did not realize I was bound to have my account and funds accessed in the future. The website is misleading and deceptive, they also don’t have their company information available.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it. I received a

very apologetic phone call. I have been credited my disputed amount in full and the company has offered to send me a complimentary product.

Thank you for assisting in revolving this matter.

After ordering a "sample" of their product and agreeing to pay shipping/handling, several other charges totaling $185.81 appeared on my *** Visa credit card. I have reported the fraud to my bank as well as canceled the credit card.

Requested FREE SAMPLES of two products FOR which I agreed to pay for Shipping & Handling. the products were shipped, and I was charged for the S&H as agreed, however I was then billed for the products as well. Furthermore, I was subsequently billed more shipping & handling charges as well as product charges for items which I did not request. The email address listed on the product comes back as undeliverable.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it.

On 9/30/17, I responded to a Facebook ad that announced that some *** stores are going out of business and as a result, they are giving away cosmetics products and all that's required of me would be to pay for shipping and handling of $4.95/product shipped. I clicked on the link to place my order and was taken to a site that asked me to answer several questions: age, skin type, etc. My answers produced a list of recommendations that named the type of products that would be best for me, namely, an eye serum and a face cream. I made sure to search for fine prints before I placed the order, to make sure that there were no hidden charges. I then proceeded to enter my debit card information and finalized the order. Total charges to my debit card was $12.34. Soon after I placed the order, I began feeling uneasy about it, thinking that I may have been a victim of a scam, so I called my bank to request that the sale be voided. I was told that I should call the merchant and cancel my order, and to make sure that the charges made are not a recurring charge and if it is, to make sure to cancel the recurring charge when I call. The bank gave me the merchant's phone number (***). I immediately called the number but no one picked up; instead, I got a voicemail so I left a voice message specifying my name, telephone number, and the reason for my call: to cancel the order that I just placed online AND if there is a recurring charge, to cancel that as well, as I DID NOT authorize any recurring charge. After a few days, I received the items in the mail and saw that shipping and handling were charged to my account. I dismissed the whole incident as a one-time charge and forgot about the incident until I saw two large charges to my bank account on 10/17 for $89.95 and on 10/18 for $88.47. Right away, I called the merchant (***) and asked the representative who answered my call to explain why I have been charged these exorbitant amounts. I was told that I had signed an agreement/contract to subscribe to their skin products. I told the rep I did no such thing and demanded to be refunded my money asap. The rep went into a long-winded negotiation attempt with me. She said that her supervisor is willing to give me a 50% discount if I keep my subscription. I told her I did not sign up for such a subscription and I want my money back. She proceeded to offer me a 60% discount, which turned to a 75% discount and later went up to 80% discount. I did not buy into this. I hung up and called my bank to dispute the charges.

It is clear to me that this merchant is a scam. They swindled money out of me, a consumer who simply took advantage of what I thought was a good deal. Their business is based on dishonesty and shady dealings. If there indeed was a subscription agreement, they did a foolproof job of concealing it because I definitely did not see it nor sign up for it. These people should not be allowed to continue to scam consumers.

Radiant Revive Response

we had attempted to refund the customer but it appears customer went ahead and claimed a chargeback. as a young makeup brand we value our image and our customers very much so. we will reach out via phone to apologize and try to make it better. customer has already gotten their money back. we are now wanting to rectify and apologize to the customer.

Customer Response

I am rejecting this response because:

It is not true that the business has refunded me the money. I received a call from a customer service agent who did not identify what company he was calling from until I asked him. He proposed we have a 3-way call with my bank so that they can set up the refund. When I called my bank, I was told that they don't engage in 3-way calling to settle a disputed charge. I was further informed that this is a tactic to encourage me to drop my dispute and complaint. If the business wants to give me the refund that I am requesting, the process is to respond to my bank's request. As of this writing, I have NOT received the refund.

Radiant Revive Response

hey, we are sorry you had this experience. as a growing makeup brand we take it personal to ensure our customers or clients are happy. we have contacted our banks and ensured you will get your refund that you initiated via chargeback as well as our support members following up with you to make sure you are satisfied as well as offer you any additional assistance you need. thank you for taking time to hear us out and we hope we can amend this and earn your business. we understand your frustration and we will make sure that our customer support team is coached to handle these types of situations better.

Customer Response

I am rejecting this response because:

As of this writing, no refund has been received by my bank from the business. My bank issued me a temporary credit for the amount that the business chare to my debit card, but NO AMOUNT WAS REFUNDED by the business to me. I ordered a face cream and an eye serum and got charged a RIDICULOUS amount of $178.42 when the deal was supposed to be that I pay only shipping and handling of $4.95/item! So NO...I am not withdrawing my complaint until I get my money back!

Radiant Revive Response

Dear Mrs.,

We sincerely apologize for every inconvenience you have experienced with our company. We want nothing more than for our customers to enjoy our products and support. Concerning your message, my records indicate that your bank charged back the totals of $88.47 and $88.95 which means those funds should now be available to you in full. I have further went and refunded your original S&H cost of our trial. We again apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding.

We hope this message meets you well.

Customer Response

I am rejecting this response because:

I don't know what kind of game you are trying to play here. I am monitoring my bank account on a daily basis and I have been told just a minute ago that NO CREDIT has been issued by your company to my account. My bank received an 11-page response from you indicating that since I did not cancel my subscription with Radiant Revive within 14 days (a subscription that I DID NOT sign up for!) that you will continue to charge my account the amount of $89.99 every 105 days. I received two emails from you indicating that you have refunded me the S&H amounts of $4.95 a$4.90 but again, these credits are not showing on my bank account. My bank said that your response to my dispute basically indicates that you are disputing my dispute because you do not want to give me back my money!!!

All I ask is that I am refunded the amount of $178.42, a charge that I NEVER authorized. Please stop giving me a runaround!

Thank you

Radiant Revive Response

Mrs.,Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this purchase has caused you. However, as stated earlier, since you chose to file a dispute with your bank we cannot refund the transactions that you are requesting. The bank will continue it's due process and unfortunately it is something you will now have to wait on. As far as your phone entries and numbers you provided, it appears you contacted a company called ***. We are not associated with this company. Further, our support team is 24/7 so you would have never reached an answering machine. It appears that is why your trial was not cancelled before you were billed for the products and auto enrolled in our subscription. We sincerely apologize for your misunderstanding however we are not in the business of deception.

We hope this message meets you well.

Customer Response

I am rejecting this response because:

So now you are saying you cannot refund my money! Please go back to your responses dated 10/26, 10/30 and 11/7 when you repeatedly stated that the funds are now available to me. You people continuously misrepresent yourselves with lies. Again, let me repeat - had you been TRANSPARENT about selling your subscription, nowhere in the world would I have signed up for it. What I signed up for was paying for shipping and handling of two skin care products that *** was giving away because they were going out of business. That is how you postured and presented your business to me and to all others that you deceived with your fraudulent advertising because certainly, I am not the only one that you victimized!

Radiant Revive Response

We assure you our intention was never to victimize you Mrs.. We have consulted our resource management account and figured out a way to bypass the chargeback notation in order to refund your account. Wishing you the best.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it.

My funds are back in my bank account today. Thank you.

Radiant Revive is using Facebook to send misleading ads with *** and *** names being used. The ad reads that *** is having a close-out opportunity to purchase skin care products sold by *** and the consumer is to only pay a $4.95 S&H fee. Once you click on the ad you are unknowingly brought to Radiant Revive's website, but it is just one page where you fill out the customer information and credit card information. I ordered the revive cream and paid the $4.95 with my debit card. I received the product in the mail. On 10/23/17 I noticed another debit on my bank statement for $89.95 that was in process to be paid to Radiant Revive. There was no contact information so I googled the name and found a phone number and address.

I called and spoke with a customer service rep who advised that after a 14-day trial, if you do not cancel, you are charged the full amount for the product. I responded that the purchase was made through ***, but was told that the terms and conditions were on their website. I specifically looked and did not see any terms and conditions. I believed I was making a purchase using *** not Radiant Revive. I asked to speak to a supervisor and after being put on hold for a long time, Erika came on the line and when I asked for a refund she said that they did not issue refunds. She said I should have looked at the terms and conditions, which I explained I did not see, and when I asked if I could return the product for a refund she said no, they did not do that.

I authorized a payment of $4.95, not an additional amount of $89.95 to be taken from my bank account. I can't believe that in this day and age of privacy and security issues, that someone can just pay themselves additional amounts of money from your banking account, and that's okay.

If this was an honest business, then the purchases should be made directly from their website and consumers should not be lured to their website using other names. This is misleading and dishonest and just bad business.

My account was canceled, without even asking me, and that tells me that they know that they are not acting in the customer's best interest.

You are not brought to Radiant Revive's website, you are brought to a single page where you fill out shipping and credit card information. If this is a reputable company, then the terms and conditions should be clearly visible so that consumers can decide on their own if they want to continue with the purchase.

Radiant Revive Response

we refunded customer in full as well as made attempts to contact customer as well to ensure we do our best to improve and fix her experience.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and I accept it, as long as I do receive the refund. I was advised it would take 3 to 5 days to receive the refund. I hope that in the future, Radiant Revive uses different methods to sell their product, other than using other company names. This can be misleading and is not good, honest business.

The company's main website may spell out their terms and conditions but the webpage that I used for the free trial did not. It was a webpage set up for a free trial and after a 14 day free trial I would be charged for the product if I did not cancel 30-automatic shipment. I found out about the 14 day time limit for cancellation when I called to find out about the two charges made to my credit card, $88.47 and $89.95. When I was in the website I wanted to order only one product the face cream, but when I hit the next button on the screen I noticed that it also had a check-box that was already checked for a free trial of the eye serum. I tried to go back to the previous page to uncheck the box but website would not let me. I figured since this was a "trial" size why not try the eye serum, not knowing that I would be charged over $80 for the product. I don't know if this is a fraudulent company or not, but the way their website is set up, it is very misleading.

Radiant Revive Response

our supervisors went ahead and took care of your refund as well as you will receive an email confirming the refund and a follow up courtesy call to apologize and make up this experience for you.

Requested to receive a FREE sample portrayed as an item available through Macy's department store. Apparently, it was a TRIAL and I needed to cancel it within 14 days. I saw the pending charges on my account and tried calling right away. The transactions at the bank did not include a phone number. When I did locate a number, they said it was a trial and I agreed to the terms and conditions. When I requested a copy of my agreement she said she is only a call center customer service and has no way to send that out. I was informed that further charges would be stopped but they cannot stop the pending charges of $89.95 and $88.47. I asked the product could be returned or delivery refused and the money returned and the answer was NO! I am not trying to get something for nothing - I will gladly return anything that is in route to me. I just want my money back - I really feel they misrepresented their objective. They can have their product.

On Sept 30 I used the link on Facebook that was promoting getting some cosmetic product from ***. It said I only pay for the shipment which was around $4.I thought it's OK. When I was entering my debit card information I didn't think something was wrong. After I submitted it, it didn't take me to the order confirmation page.I thought it doesn't look right.
Later I received two cosmetic products of the brand I haven't ever heard about. I just left them unopened.
Today approximately $170 were withdrawn from my account. I found the phone number on the jar of the cosmetic product and called them. They told me that I signed for 30 day supplies which I don't recall.I asked to email me this information and they said they can't do that.I asked for their website, they said it is radiantrevive.com which I couldn't find later.I asked for refund and they said they can't do that. They only can cancel the future payments from my bank account. They said they canceled it while I was on the phone with them.

My problem is that I received a trial offer of a product, and upon cancelation I was unable to due to the customer service team. I called 8 different times, and sent out 3 different emails, with no response. the last time I called I was finally able to get through to someone, after sitting on hold for over 35 minutes. when I explained my problem and how long I was trying to reach out to them, the woman did not listen to me and only offered me a discount on future products. I called to cancel and not be charged, not to ask for a discount. my problem was not with the price of the product, it was the actual product itself. I did not want to receive it any longer, but they were not concerned with what I wanted or needed to be done. when I told her that I wanted to be refunded she told me that I did not cancel in the time frame required. while I do understand that, I also understand that I had tried to get a hold of this company many times prior to my final interaction with them. as all of my efforts went unnoticed and unheard, I am very VERY upset with this "company" and would never recommend anyone ever do business with them.
