We apologize for the delay in response as we experienced an internal communications error which caused the delay in addressing this complaint.

The way the trial program works is that the customer pays the price of shipping $(S&H) for the product to be sent out and to try. The bottle that is shipped is an actual 30 day supply with a retail value of $119.97. Once the order is placed the 15 day trial period begins. During the 15 day trial period if the customer is not satisfied for any reason they can call to cancel. If the customer calls to cancel within the trial period they are given an RMA and are provided with a return address and return instructions and are asked to send back the unused portion and they avoid being billed the full price of that bottle of $119.97. If they do not call to cancel during the trial period they are then billed the full price of $119.97 for that bottle they received and then begin the Autoship program until canceled.

With this situation our records indicate that the customer had disputed the 119.97 charge. Once a dispute is on file it has to be resolved between the customers bank and our merchant processor and we no longer have the ability to use the refund functionalities.

As per this complaint we have however issued a refund on the most recent charge the occurred.

03/26/2020 05:43pm - Refunded - $129.94 Trans-ID: XXXXXXXXXX

Please allow 3- 5 business days for the funds to post back to the account

We have not received any kind of return however that is not an issue as we would like the customer to keep the bottle as a courtesy in hopes of resolving this in a positive manner.

We apologize if there was any kind of misunderstanding of how the program works. We always want to work together with the customer to rectify any situation and resolve any complaint with a positive outcome. Someone from our senior support team will contact this customer personally to get a better understanding of the situation and how we can improve in the future.

I ordered product 2/10/2020,received product 2/16/2020. I emailed to cancel. I'm now being billed for not cancelling. Policy states I have 15 days.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I just wanted my money back. If they refund me fully I will be satisfied.

Trial with no means to cancel - they trap you, and give you a DISCONNECTED phone number for cancellation.
They advertise a free trial, where charges will take place if you don't cancel. Here's the problem: they give you a DISCONNECTED phone number to cancel. This is the phone number they give in their emails: 8552044947

It's a disconnected number.

Desired Outcome

I want a 100% refund because I wanted to 100% cancel. Except they trap their customers in a trial and give a disconnected phone number to process cancellation requests. Finally, through reaching them with the help of my credit card company, they REFUSED to look at, acknowledge or fix the broken phone number. They said "we're not authorized to do that." So I asked, "you mean it's your intention to NOT correct the problem and continue trapping and deceiving customers?" "I'm sorry, we're not able to help you further." I also asked, in vain, if there was someone else I could contact to fix the broken number in their emails and website. "No." So they are just going to continue ripping people off with this trial trap.

Fraudulently charging my CC. When I called to find out who they were they refused to provide their company name unless I gave them my personal info.
They were fraudulently charging my credit card and only provided a phone number on the credit card charge. When I called to find out who they were and what they were charging to my credit card they only answered "customer service" They refused to give me the name of their company unless I provided all my personal information stating they had to verify I had an account before they could tell me their company name. So now they have all of my personal information (name, address, cell number, email) just so I could get their company name and tell them that they were charging my card fraudulently and I would turn this matter into the fraud department with my credit card.
This is a deceptive trade practice to no provide the company name when called or any information on how to obtain their company name without having to provide my personal information. The number I called was 866-214-9959.

Desired Outcome

Correct illegal trade practices of not providing company name when asked. And not requiring consumers personal information be required just to obtain their company name.

We apologize for the delay in response as we experienced an internal communications error which caused the delay in addressing this complaint.

The bottle that is shipped is an actual 30 day supply with a retail value of $119.97. Once the order is placed the 15/14 day trial begins. During the 15/14 day trial period if the customer is not satisfied for any reason they can call to cancel.

With this situation our records indicate that the cusotmer spoke to a customer service representative on 2/18/20 but there was a disagreement with the verification protocol and the call was disconnected and no changes were made to the account at that time. On 2/22/20 disputes were made on the account which resulted in the cancellation of the accounts.

We do apologize if the customer does not agree to the verification protocol however that is in place for the protection of our customers.

We would like to know what we may do in regards to working towards a positive resolution with the customer on this matter.

This company first offered a free trial and now is attempting to collect money from my bank. Attempted to cancel but company ignores me.
I received an email on 2/16/2020 @ 11:14 pm stating that I had ordered their product (order # XXXXXXX) on 2/17/2020 @ 12:13 am, and that they had tried to collect 129.94 for my account. Clearly I received this email before I allegedly agreed to purchase their product.
This company advertised a free trial and did not mention that I would be charged anything at all. No account information on my part was given to enter into any sort of buisness transaction with this company, and now they are trying to extract payment from me.
I did receive an earlier message saying that if I chose to cancel all I had to do was fill out the cancelation at the end of the email, which I did, but apparently this was ignored.
Upon conducting a Google search I see that your agency has received similar complaints on this very issue, I'm hoping that you can help me resolve this issue, so I can end this apparent scam.

Desired Outcome

I would like no further contact from the company

I never ordered or agreed to anything from Raging Lion. Now I get collection
notices.
In August 2019 my wife ordered a FREE TRIAL sample of Raging Lion suppliment for me for just the 6.95 shipping cost.Nothing was stated about an obligation to cancel in 15 days or pay full price of 119.95. This was done without my knowledge or approval.Sample arrived in mail with no paperwork Nothing was ever stated about any obligations whatsoever. Now it's February 2020 an I receive a collections letter from National Medical Administrators Inc of Norcross,Ga. for 119.97 on behalf of TRS Limited Raging Lion. This product doesn't work. I am disputing this charge with the collections agency. I've read so many complaints
that are just like mine in here .This is a big time SCAM it needs shut down.

Desired Outcome

Stop all collection efforts. Close account.

With this situation our records indicate this is the first interaction on the account. The customer was charged the initial shipping charge and was sent the bottle and all attempts to bill the customer after the trial were unsuccessful and no return was ever made. When this occurs this causes the account to be flagged into the collections database as the customer has received the product and still has the product but never canceled or returned the product so a collections call is made as an attempt to recover those funds.

As of now due to the complaint this customer has been removed from the collections database. This customer does not owe anything and has no debt with us whatsoever. The customer should be able to confirm that all collection activity will cease in 24-48 hours and if any kind of attempt is made within the 24-48 hour time period of removal from the collections database they are to simply ignore.

We have not received any kind of return however that is not an issue as we would like the customer to keep the bottle as a courtesy in hopes of resolving this in a positive manner.

I accept this response due to the fact that I never entered into any kind of agreement with them. I owe them nothing. Also, I do not want any further contact from this company because their product doesn't work and their deceptive advertising.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
the deal was to answer a few question's & pick out a free gift for taking the survey & pay shipping & that's what I did.
It didn't say anything about canceling a order in 15 days.
I still have the shipment they sent me if the pay the postage back to them I will return it.

Raging Lion falsely advertised the cost of its marketed product.
My original complaint statement was loaded and sent prematurely a few minutes ago.
*Upon conversing with an agent for the company, they attempted to explain their timeline, charges and recourse for resolution. Not satisfied, on January 2, 2020, I receive a CC statement indicating another charge of $129.94. A few days later the product arrives again. Speaking with another agent I am told that I was charged because my account was still active and in (their agreement) I was due to receive this. I requested return policy information and a credit to my CC which I was informed that there was no refund or return policy for the product. From there I immediately asked that this account be officially and legally closed.
I am submitting this formal Revdex.com complaint to indicate false advertising and seeking to gain a refund of my funds paid.

Desired Outcome

I wish to expose this company as fraudulent advertisers. I also wish to recover my paid funds.

As expected the company has agreed to return my money.

Hidden charges fir trial products.
This company advertised the product free trial, just pay the shipping. After 15 days they charged my account 119.00 for the trial bottle since I didn't as they put it call to cancel the trial. Before I purchased this I read and looked all over the privacy information to see if there
we're any fees and didn't see anything. When I reached out to them about the charge the women said it's on the ad, then she sends me a copy. I read and read but didn't see anything. The information was way at the bottom of the ad under terms and conditions not boldly visible for the consumer to see. They refused to refund my hundred and $119 I'm a senior citizen and I read the ad and thought I was safe ordering the trial. But these pills that we haven't seen any affect from has cost me and unnecessary burden. To Future customers please please do not order from this company thank you.

Desired Outcome

A refund for the trial product that doesn't work of 119.00.

Unfortunately we are not able to issue a refund back to the customer account as the merchant account is no longer active.

With this situation our records indicate that the customer was only charged the initial cost of shipping of 6.95 on 1/21/20. The customer contacted the automated system during the trial to cancel on 1/28/20 and set the product up for return. No other charges have been made or will be made. The cusotmer should be able to confirm no other attempts were made to bill. As of now we have not received the return however that is ok as we would like the cusotmer to keep the bottle as a courtesy in hopes that we may resolve this in a a positive manner. The account has been canceled and the customer does not owe us anything.

We apologize if there was any kind of misunderstanding of how the program works. We always want to work together with the customer to rectify any situation and resolve any complaint with a positive outcome. Someone from our senior support team will contact this customer personally to get a better understanding of the situation and how we can improve in the future.

I purchased their trial bottle and was charged $6.95 and then they enrolled me in a subscription for $116.95 which I did not enroll. They are crooks!
I purchased their trial bottle and was charged $6.95 and then they enrolled me in a subscription for $116.95 which I did not enroll. They are crooks!
I disputed with my bank but this company is very good at hiding their contact information thus my bank denied the dispute and they eventually paid the $116.95 for the product that I never received.

Desired Outcome

I wish to have the $116.95 refunded to me for fraudulent charges against my checking account.

The way the trial program works is that the customer pays the price of shipping $(S&H) for the product to be sent out and to try. The bottle that is shipped is an actual 30 day supply with a retail value of $119.97. Once the order is placed the 15 day trial period for Raging Lion and the 14 day trial period for Alpha XTRM begins. During the 15/14 day trial period if the customer is not satisfied for any reason they can call to cancel.

With this situation our records indicate that the customer had disputed one of his 119.97 charges which was for the bottle that was received. The other charge for the shipment of the other product that was received however was declined when the trial period ended and the charge never went through but the product was delivered successfully.

When there is a dispute on the account we are unable to issue any kind of refund after that point since all refund option functionalities are disabled. Once there is a dispute status the resolution must then be made with the customers bank and our merchant processor. If the customer would have contacted us on the account first before filing a dispute we would have been more than happy to provide a refund to work together to resolve this situation. Unfortunately we are unable to issue a refund, we can however offer the customer a free bottle of each shipment in an effort to work together towards a positive resolution.

In our defense, we have tracking confirmation that shows that the product was delivered successfully in the mailbox. If you would like to check the tracking status please go to www.usps.com and Tracking Number: ***

Currently, to date we have now have confirmation that both products have been received back.

As of now due to the complaint this customer has been removed from the collections database. This customer does not owe anything and has no debt with us whatsoever. We would like to know what the customer is referring to as the customer was removed from the collections database on 2/11/20. If the customer did receive a collections notice, it would have only been for one bottle and the the amount would have only been 159.97 however the account was removed on the last correspondence.

We will send correspondence again to the collections agency to confirm the account was infact removed.

Yes it was same phone number that contacted me again attempting to collect after Raging Lion called me to let me know I do not owe any money and that my account was cancelled one month after I received bottle. The phone number where I get repeated calls in an attempt to collect a debt is XXXXXXXXXX. Please follow up with me on this or re open complaint. I do not want to be harrassed by the individuals calling me from this number anymore and note they have contacted my family members in an attempt to find out more information on me and my location. An aggressive individual from the listed phone number called my sister Catherine Troxel at her cell phone number and home phone number to get more info on me and used extremely rude content over the phone with her. Catherine received the rude phone call from some individual back in February of this year from the company which was probably calling from the XXXXXXXXXX number. I dont know how they got her number and I did not disclose it. My sister can be reached via email if you want me to foreward her address to you if you would need confirmation of these individuals contacting my family members. If I cannot be reached via phone please email me at ***@msn.com

I just want these individuals to stop harassing me and my family please.

Thank you

I called the number listed on mail received. TransUnion said it will take 6-8 days for a list to be sent to my address 915 East 9th Ave Broomfield, CO. In the past five years I have worked for more than several carriers. Mile Hi Specialty Foods, QCD Rocky Mountain LLC, Empire Warehouse, Sentinal Transportation, Dixon Bros. Inc, Sinclair Transportation, Trans Service Logistics, DG Coleman, All My Sons Moving and Storage and right now I'm working for 5280 Waste Solutions. Theres an individual who has broken into the trucking yard in the past and has stolen truck parts off the commercial vehicles in the yard. I declared chapter 7 bankruptcy back in the year 2019.

November 15 2019, I opted for a "Trial Bottle" of the product Raging Lion for $1.98. Nowhere do I recall automatic subscriptions being mentioned.
Nov 2019, I opted to try a "giveaway Trial Bottle" of a male enhancement supplement called Raging Lion. I don't recall accepting any automatic subscriptions for this product prior to the purchase, nor do I recall any other charges. On Jan 21, 2020, I was reviewing some of my email and came upon the receipt (after payment was made) and it had a Customer Support phone number to cancel. I've had other trial scams encounter prior to this, so I contacted Customer Support to make absolutely sure I was canceled out and not going to be receiving any further charges other than the $1.98 for the Trial Bottle (which was already charged and paid for through my credit card). I recall the online ad saying it was a 'giveaway', and returned to the website to review its' contents. It still states 'giveaway' https://raginglionenhancement.org/ and nowhere is it stated/inferred that an automatic subscription charge (of some unGodly amount of $195 per bottle/per month exists (per my conversation with their Customer Support today, Jan 21 2020). Customer Support was also not dedicated to just this product but many others, according to her, and although she was threatening me with the Terms and Conditions I had agreed, when I asked for her to email me that 'Terms and Conditions', she said she had no access to it. But said that if I were to pay an $18 fee, that it would end this entire matter and no further charges would be made. I felt upset at this point to say the least and simply told her that I would file a complaint with both the Revdex.com as well as the FBI's Internet Complaint Center.
I'm 65 years old and feel that senior citizens are being targeted by companies like this. From now on, before purchasing anything, even if it's free, or free trial, I will definitely consult both the Revdex.com and the Internet Complaint Center (FBI). Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to render.

Desired Outcome

I'm hoping that you can investigate into this product's advertisement practices and policies so that the consumer is allowed to be fully aware of any consequences prior to purchasing of the product. Also to inquire what their definition of 'giveaway' is and why the Terms and Conditions aren't readily available on the product's website nor in the hands of their Customer Support personnel.

With this situation our records indicate that the customer placed their order on 11/15/19 and their trial period ended on 11/30/19 and all attempts to bill the customer for the end of trial were unsuccessful. The first interaction on the account was when the customer spoke to a customer service representative on 1/21/20 where an explanation of the program and terms was provided and then the call was disconnected. Two call back attempted however were unsuccessful that day. On 1/26/20 another call was made where the agreement was made to return the product and a refund was provided. The customers only charge with us was 1.97, the product was shipped however no return was ever received.

The refund was provided
01/26/XXXX XX:XXpm - Refunded - $1.97 Trans-ID: XXXXXXXXXX

In regards to the 18 dollars the customer is mentioning, if the customer is wishing to cancel while still in the trial period we simply ask that they return the bottle and they would avoid any other charge. The 18 dollar amount is a discount option that was offered so that the customer could keep the bottle at that discounted amount versus having to send it back.

As mentioned previously we have not received a return however that is ok as we would like the customer to keep the bottle in hopes that we may resolve this in a positive manner.

All the charges that occurred have been refunded, we would like to know what else the customer is looking for as a resolution.

We apologize if there was any kind of misunderstanding of how the program works. We always want to work together with the customer to rectify any situation and resolve any complaint with a positive outcome. Someone from our senior support team will contact this customer personally to get a better understanding of the situation and how we can improve in the future.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I contacted the vendor's Customer Support, once receiving a delivery billing on my credit account, to cancel any future shipments or subscriptions. It was the uncourteous response from the Customer Support agent that frustrated me to the point I had to file this complaint. I reiterated to her that the ad on their online website said it was a "giveaway" and therefore I felt no obligation to pay for the product.
When the CS agent said that by paying $18, this whole matter could be resolved otherwise they would bill me $190 for the bottle they sent for the "Trial"! I felt I was being railroaded and perhaps targeted because of my age (65 years old). And that's unfair for any product on the market. But I feel because they credited me back the shipping charge and they apologized through the Revdex.com, I feel justice has been served. I would like to thank the Revdex.com for being a means of resolving issues like this, which I'm sure, occurs quite frequently. With e-commerce comes marketing tactics and schemes that should be monitored closely for fraudulent activity or just taking advantage of honest people.

Not receiving refund - I asked if we could return the product ( not used ) and receive a refund. They said no - because it was not within 14 days
On 12/26 my roommate (*** ordered 2 supplements from Raging Lion. The order was received ~ 1/6/2020. On 1/8 and 1/9/2020 My credit card had 2 charges of 119.97.
I noticed this on 1/16 when I went to pay my bill. I disputed this charge with my CC company. I received the phone number from my CC company. When I called to question the charge - the stated that they could not refund my account, since it was not with in the time allotted (14 days) -I asked how can it be a 14 day trial period when you charged my card 3 days after the item was received.- they noted it was 14 days after the order, and directed me to the website. - and that was in the "agreement". I stated that the item was not received until 2 or 3 days before hand - On the first call I asked for the name of their company, I could not find the website listed on my CC statement. I told them I wanted the name of the company so I could file a complaint because it was all a scam. The rep then hung up on me. The next day(1/19) I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. They suggested I try again to see if I could return the item and get a refund - I called the 'Raging Lion ' on 1/19 and again I was denied a refund - and the csr at the company noted that there was another "subscription" to something else and did I want that cancelled. I said of course.. The referred me to their website. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me I would receive a call back. I also them how could they charge a credit card for an order where the name of the account is not on the credit card. They did not answer the question and referred me to their website. On 1/18 - Jeff received two emails stating that his order had been cancelled. In that email it states that they want their customers to be satisfied and there was a 30 day refund policy. This company has scammed my card out of 242.43. The emails they send provide no contact information - nor a company name. I believe they are well aware of what they are doing.

Desired Outcome

I am looking for the company to refund my credit card 242.43.I will also send back everything that was delivered - nothing was used.

A supervisor was requested and then the call was disconnected. Another call was made on 1/19/20 and supervisor callback was set up. On 1/20/20 and 1/22/20 a supervisor callback was made and voicemails were left however the calls were not returned. On 1/23/20 both charges were disputed.

Once a dispute is on file it has to be resolved between the customers bank and our merchant processor and we no longer have the ability to use the refund functionalities. Since we are not able to issue a refund we would like to offer the customer a free bottle of each product in hopes that we may resolve this in a positive manner.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The product did not arrive until 1/6. They say there is a 14 day trial - but this is misleading. As for the supervisor return calls - I was told they would return my call in a couple hours - the calls were not made for 2 days, while I was at work. I am sorry but saying the call was disconnected is not true - the first rep hung up on me. He was getting very snarky with me on the phone and he hung up on me. If they are so willing to work with the customer- then why not take the product back and refund the money? The bottles are full and unused. I also explained my room mate went into the hospital for 6 days - being admitted on 12/27. I am sorry but the a 14 day trial period for a product was not on the forefront of our minds when he came home. And what company gives you a 14 day trial when the product is not delivered for 10 days? When I called the second time the rep informed me that there was another "subscription" for something else and would I like that cancelled too. I/We have no idea what that was. They charged my card for an additional $2.69 and I have no idea what that charge was for. There was no documentation with the product reiterating you only had until such and such a date to cancel. The "fine print" about the need to cancel is not obvious and explicit at the time an order is placed. Their business practice, to work with the customer, is a charade. I offered to send the full bottles back for a refund and they would not even discuss that with me - they just kept referring to their website- Why does the charge on my card, or emails that were received cancelling the subscription not state the real company name? I had to ask the customer service rep for the company name to file the complaint. I am still willing to send the full product back for a full refund.
